Summary The electronic properties of a series of cobalt(III)trans-furyldioximato-complexes of the type [CoB(FH)2X] (B=NH3, X=Cl, Br, I or NO2; B=pyridine (py) or thiocarbamide (thio), X=Cl or Br; B=imidazole (imid), X=Br), [Co(FH2)(FH)Cl2] and [Co(thio)2(FH)2]NO3 were studied by i.r., u.v. and1H and13C n.m.r. spectra The results were compared with those from the corresponding dimethylglyoximato-complexes. It was concluded that -conjugation over the equatorial plane in the furyldioximates is greater than in the dimethylglyoximates. There is some evidence of thetrans-influence of the anionic ligands in the ammines which are in the order NO 2 >Br>Cl.  相似文献

Summary A series of square planar complexes of the type [PdX2L2] where X=Cl, Br, I; L=telluracyclopentane (tcp), telluracyclohexane (tch) or benzotelluracyclopentane (btp) have been synthesised. The complexes were characterised by far-i.r., n.m.r. and u.v.-vis. spectroscopy. The data implytrans-geometries except for the complex [PdCl2(tch)2] where a mixture ofcis- andtrans-isomers is obtained.  相似文献

Summary Cyclometallations of 2-aryl-4,5-dimethyl-1,2,3-triazoles [H(C-N)] occur with palladium(II), platinum(II), rhodium(III) and iridium(III) chloride. Pallaciation and platination form [MCI(C-N)]2, and rhodation and iridation [MCI(C-N)2]2 species. These complexes react with monodentate ligands, L, such as pyridine and tri-n-butylphosphine to give MCl(C-N)L and MCl(C-N)2 L complexes. Corresponding bromo and iodo complexes are prepared by metathesis with lithium bromide and iodide. Spectroscopic data suggest that MX(C-N)L compounds (X = Cl, Br or I) have a structure withtrans-C,X andtrans-N,L, while [MX(C-N)2 L] has atrans-N,N,cis-C,C, andcis-X,L structure.Author to whom all correspondence should be directed.  相似文献

The [Pd(cod)(cotl)]ClO4 complex (cod = cycloocta-1,5-diene; cotl = cyclooctenyl, C18H13 ) undergoes substitutions with new Schiff base ligands containing benzimidazole L [L = 2-(2-N-n-propylidenephenyl)benzimidazole (L1); 2-(2-N-i-propylidenephenyl)benzimidazole (L2); 2-(2-N-n-butylidenephenyl)benzimidazole (L3); 2-(2-N-i-butylidenephenyl)benzimidazole (L4)]. Facile displacement of cod by L occurs to produce complexes of the type [Pd(cotl)L]ClO4· nMe2CO (n= 0; L = L1, L2 or L3; n= 2, L = L4). Dihalobridge complexes of the type [Pd(cotl)X]2(X = Cl or Br) undergo halogen-bridge cleavage with L1–L4 to give mononuclear complexes of the type Pd(cotl)LX · nH2O (n= 2, X = Cl, L = L1; n= 0, X = Br, L = L1; n= 0, X = Cl, L = L2; n= 0, X = Cl or Br, L = L3; n= 0, X = Cl, L = L4; n= 2, X = Br, L = L4) and a binuclear complex [Pd(cotl)Br]2L2. The complexes were characterised by physical properties, i.r., 1H- and 13C-n.m.r. spectral techniques and by mass spectra. Probable structures have been proposed.  相似文献

Summary The electronic and vibrational spectra of NiII and PdII complexes with thiobenzamide, L, are discussed. L acts as a sulphur donor ligand. The PdII compounds and (NiL4)(ClO4)2 are square planar. PdL2Cl2 has acis-structure, while PdL2X2 (X=Br or I) istrans; NiL4Cl2 istrans-octahedral. The i.r. bands due to(M.S) and(MX) have been assigned. The influence of the anions on the properties of the complexes, both in solution and in the solid state, is discussed.  相似文献

Summary The platinum(II) halidecis-[Pt(DMTC)(DMSO)X2] andcis-[Pt(DETC)(DMSO)X2](X=Cl or Br; DMSO=dimethyl sulfoxide; DMTC=EtOSCN-Me2; DETC=EtOSCNEt2) adducts and the platinum(II) and palladium(II) halide adducts,trans-[M(DETC)2X2] (M=Pt or Pd; X=Cl or Br), have been prepared. The complexes were characterized by i.r., and1H and13Cn.m.r. spectroscopy. Both DMTC and DETC coordinate through the sulphur atoms. The 1:2 DETC complexes present the usualtrans configuration, whereas the presence of DMSO favourscis geometry in the mixed species.  相似文献

Summary Nickel(II), palladium(II), cobalt(II) and copper(II) complexes of the ligandN,N-1,2-propane-bis(methyl 2-amino-cyclopent-1-ene-dithiocarboxylate) (H2L1),N,N-1,3-propane-bis(methyl 2-aminocyclopent-1-ene-dithiocarboxylate) (H2L2) andN,N-[bis(methyl 2-aminocyclopent-1-ene-dithiocarboxylate)] diethylenetriamine (H2L3) have been synthesised. Both H2L1 and H2L2 form complexes of the type ML, and all but the copper(II) complexes, are square planar. In the copper(II) complexes tetrahedral distortion is significantly more with CuL2. From H2L3 square planar complexes of the type [M(HL3)X] (M=Ni, X=Cl, Br, I or SCN; M=Pd, X=Cl or Br) have been obtained in which the donor unit involved is N2SX. The composition of the cobalt(II) and copper(II) complexes is [M(H2L3)X2] (X=Cl or Br) which contain the chromophore [MN3X2].  相似文献

Summary Some isomers of the ReOX2LPPh3 complexes [X = Cl or Br and L =N-methylsalicylideneiminate,N-phenylsalicylideneiminate, halfN,N'-ethylenebis(salicylideneiminate) or 8-hydroxyquinolinate] have been synthesized and characterized. Two different mechanisms for reaction of thetrans-ReOX3(PPh3)2 complexes (X = Cl or Br) with the Schiff bases are supported by qualitative studies on such parameters as the Schiff base ligand form, concentration of free triphenylphosphine ligand, reaction solvent and temperature.  相似文献

Summary The complexescis-[PtPra2X2],trans-[PtPra2X2], [PtPra3X]X, [PtPra4]X2 and [PtPra4]X2 · 2H2O, where Pra= propan-1-amine and X=Cl or Br, have been prepared with good yields and characterized by thermal analysis and i.r. and1H n.m.r. spectroscopy. The best methods to obtain the pure products are discussed. The TG and DTA data are reported for all the complexes; in particular the thermal degradation of the 13 and 14 bromo-derivatives allows to isolate the intermediatetrans-[PtPra2Br2]. The i.r. spectra are characteristic of geometry and stoichiometry, as the1H n.m.r. spectra ofcis-[PtAm2Br2],trans-[PtAm2Br2], [PtAm3Br]Br and [PtAm4]Br2 (Am=propan-1-amine or hexan-1-amine) in deuteriated benzene, acetone and chloroform.  相似文献

The ligands 2-(allyl)pyridine(APy), and 2-(1-methallyl)pyridine (1-MAPy) react with [Pt2X4(PEt3)2] (X = Cl or Br), in acetone solution to give complexes of the type [PtX(PEt3)L] [PtX3(PEt3)], (L = APy or 1-MAPy), which contain a bidentate 2-(alkenyl)pyridine, whereas the same reaction in benzene solution gives trans-[PtBr2(PEt3)L], (L = APy or 1-MAPy), which contains a monodentate 2-(alkenyl)pyridine; 1H NMR spectra indicate that both types of product undergo olefin exchange in solution. The same reaction with 2-(3-methallyl)-pyridine [2-(2-butenyl)pyridine] (3-MAPy), 2-(3,3-dimethylallyl)pyridine [2-(3-methyl-2-butenyl)pyridine] (3,3-DMAPy), and 2-(3-butenyl)pyridine (BPy), in either acetone or benzene solution, gives only trans-[PtBr2(PEt3)L]. The reaction of trans-[PtBr2(PEt3)L] (L = APy or 3-MAPy) with AgClO4 gives [PtBr(PEt3)L]ClO4. Complexes of the type [PtCl2L], which contain bidentate 2-(alkenyl)pyridines, result on reaction of L = APy, 3-MAPy, 3,3-DMAPy, BPy, MBPy with [Pt2Cl4(C2H4)2].  相似文献

Summary Gold(I) forms linear [AuL2]X complexes (X = Cl, Br, I or CIO4) with thioacetamide and thiobenzamide, AuLX compounds with thiobenzamide (X = CI or Br),N, N-dimethylthioformamide (X = Cl, Br or 1) andN-dimethylthioacetamide (X = CI, Br or 1). Thev(AuS) vibrations are assigned in the 320-260 cm–1 range. The i.r. spectra further suggest hydrogen bonding between the ligands and the anions. Summary The following copper(I) complexes of 4,6-dimethylpyrimidine-2(1H)-thione (HL), its protonated cation (H2L+) and deprotonated anion (L) have been prepared: CuL, Cu(HL)X (X = Cl, Br or I), Cu(HL)2X (X = C1 or Br), Cu2(HL)3Br2, Cu(H2L)X2 (X = Cl or Br), Cu3(HL)2LA2 (A = ClO4 or BF4 ). The i.r. spectra show that in all the HL and L complexes and in the Cu(H2L)Br2 complex, the ligands are S, N coordinated to the metal ion, while in Cu(H2L)Cl2 only the thiocarbonylic sulphur is coordinated, probably bridging two copper(I) atoms. Thev(CuN) (288–317 cm–1 ) andv(CuS) (191–225 cm–1 ) have uniform frequency values in all the complexes. The halide ions are, in all their complexes, wholly or in part coordinated giving twov(CuX) bands which may indicate an asymmetrical Cu-X Cu halide bridging bond.Author to whom all correspondence should be directed.  相似文献

Summary CoL2X2 (X = Cl, Br or I) complexes were obtained by reacting cobalt(II) halides withN-methyl-,N-ethyl-,N,N-dimethyl- andN,N-diethyl-imidazolidine-2-selone. The same ligands with cobalt(II) tetrafluoroborate gave CoL4(BF4)2 complexes only with the disubstituted ligands. On the basis of i.r. and electronic spectra all the complexes are considered to be Se-bonded to the metal with a tetrahedral stereochemistry, as supported by magnetic measurements and colours. The ligand field parameters (Dq, B and ) for the [CoL4]2+ ion are evaluated by using the averaged ligand field approximation. The influence of the substituents on these parameters are discussed and compared with those obtained for the analogous complexes with the sulphur parent ligands.This work was partially supported by C.N.R. of Rome, Italy.  相似文献

Exchange reactions of trans-[PdXPh(SbPh3)2] (1) (X=Cl or Br) with ligands L in refluxing dichloromethane give the palladium phenyl complexes [PdXPhL2] (X=Cl, L=PPh3, AsPh3, L2=2,2′-bipyridine (bipy), 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine (dmbipy), 1,10-phenanthroline (phen); X=Br, L=PPh3, L2=bipy). Treatment of the complexes with bis(diphenylphosphino)methane (dppm) in refluxing dichloromethane gives [PdXPh(dppm]2. These complexes have been characterised by microanalysis, IR and 1H NMR spectroscopic data together with single crystal X-ray determinations of the phenyl palladium complexes, trans-[PdClPh(PPh3)2], [PdClPh(bipy)], [PdClPh(dppm)]2, and [PdBrPh(dppm)]2.  相似文献

Summary N-(o-hydroxybenzylidene)-2-aminobenzimidazole (HL) andN-(o-hydroxybenzylidene)-2(2-aminophenyl)benzimidazole (HL) react with CoX2 (X=Cl, Br, or NCS) and FeCl3 yielding complexes of general formulae [Co(HL)2X2], [Co(HL)2X2], [FeCl2(HL)2] [FeCl4], and [FeCl2(HL)2][FeCl4]. Moreover, it was possible to isolate the complexes [Co(HL)Br2] [Co(L)Cl] and [Co(L)Cl]. Summary 2,3-Bis(hydroxyimino)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-pyrido[2,3-b]pyrazine (H2L), prepared from 2,3-diaminopyridine and cyanogen-di-N-oxide has been converted into nickel(II), palladium(II), copper(II), cobalt(II), and cobalt(III) complexes (H2L) with a 12 metal:ligand ratio. The ligands coordinate through the two N atoms, as do most vicinal dioximes. [(LH)Cl(H2O)Cd], contains a six-membered chelate ring. [Co(HL)2(L)Cl] has also been prepared using triphenylphosphine, triphenylarsine, thiophene and chloride as axial ligands. The structure of thevic-dioxime and its complexes are proposed on the basis of elemental analysis, i.r.,1H-n.m.r. and uv-visible measurements.  相似文献

IR, 1H NMR and electronic spectra are reported for the complexes trans-[PtX2(CO)(L)] (X = Cl or Br; L = NH3, pyridine, pyridine-N-oxide, aniline or imidazole) and trans-[Pt2X4(CO)2(pyrazine)] (X = Cl or Br). Assignments for the internal ligand modes and metal-ligand vibrations are deduced from the band shifts caused by deuteration of the ligands (L). The simplicity of the IR spectra, particularly in the v(CO) region, is consistent with a trans-configuration. The 1H NMR data show 195Pt-H coupling at ambient temperature, suggesting a slow exchange, unlike the corresponding ethylene complexes which are highly fluxional at ambient temperatures. Assignments are provided for the UV spectra and the previously reported red shift is observed in the 5d(Pt) →π* transition which results from the replacement of Cl by Br in the complexes.  相似文献

Summary Reactions of ruthenium carbonyl complexes of the type [RuX2(CO)(Ph2RAs)3] (X=Cl or Br; R=Me or Et) with 2,2-bipyridyl (bipy) and 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) in alcohol produce orange red cationic products of the formula [RuX(CO)(N-N)(Ph2RAs)2]ClO4 (N-N=bipy or phen). Likewise, the hydridocarbonyls of ruthenium and osmium of the type [MHX(CO)(Ph2RAs)3] (M=Ru or Os) react with bipy and phen to yield yellow cationic complexes of the composition [(MH(CO)(N-N)(Ph2RAs)2]ClO4. Structures have been assigned to all the complexes on the basis of i.r. and1 H n.m.r. spectral data.  相似文献

Summary The i.r. spectra (4000-90 cm–1) of the [Pt(Him)4]X2 complexes (Him = imidazole, X = Cl, Br or I) andcis- andtrans-[Pt(Him)2X2] (X = Cl, Br, I or NO2) and their D3-labelled analogues have been determined. The distinction between the ring and C-H (or N-H) modes of imidazole is based on the relative shifts which these bands undergo on D3-labelling. Assignments, based on the effects of imidazole deuteriation and halide substitution, are provided for the v(Pt-Him) and v(Pt-X) modes.  相似文献
