The lipid composition of the free fatty acids of the seed oil ofMalva sylvestris from the Ukrainian flora has been studied by chromato-mass spectrometry. The fatty acid composition was represented by 20 compounds, among which malvic and sterculic acids were detected. The presence of terpineols and retinol has been shown.Zaporozh'e Medical Institute. The oil of the seeds ofArtemisia absinthium has yielded 95.5% of glycerides. Of these, 59.5% consists of unoxidized and 32.0% of oxidized triglycerides, 1.3% of diglycerides, and 2.7% of monoglycerides. The remaining 4.5% of the oil is made up of hydrocarbons, sterols, sterol acetates, and free fatty acids. The oxy acid content has been calculated from the results obtained (12% of the total fatty acids of the oil) and this figure is close to that for the oxy acid content found from the neutralization number of the mixture of fatty acids of the oil (11%).Institute of the Chemistry of Plant Substances, Academy of Sciences of the Uzbek SSR, Tashkent, Translated from Khimiya Prirodnykh Soedinenii, No. 4, pp. 471–477, July–August, 1979.  相似文献

The composition of lipids and fatty acids from the above-ground part ofOriganum tytthanthum Gontsch. (Lamiaceae) is studied. Lipids from the air-dried plant material are enriched in glycolipids, essential fatty acids, and biologically active lipophilic substances. The class composition and the total fatty acid composition of the readily- and difficulty-extractable lipids and the amino acid composition of a protein hydrolysate of the dry biomass from the golden-yellow microalgaMonochrysis lutheri have been determined for the first time. It has been established that the difficulty-extractable lipids differ sharply from the readily extractable lipids in the composition of the neutral and glycolipid components and also in that of the fatty acids; 27% of the weight of the fatty acids of the latter is composed of the 20:4 and 20:5 species. The protein hydrolysate ofM. lutheri contains almost the whole set of essential fatty acids.Institute of the Chemistry of Plant Substances, Academy of Sciences of the Uzbekistan Republic, Tashkent. The structures of the oxygenated fatty acids of the lipids ofOnopordum acanthium L. seeds have been studied by the methods of chemical, chromatographic, and spectral analyses. Triepoxy acids of the C18 series and 24 monohydroxy acids with chain lengths of C14–C18 have been identified, of which the 8-OH-9Z,12Z-18:2 and the 14-OH-9Z,12Z-18:2 acids have been isolated as natural compounds for the first time.Institute of the Chemistry of Plant Substances, Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent. The main class — the free fatty acids — of the lipids of the seeds of the second vegetation phase ofHelleborus abchasicus A. Br. has been studied. The analysis of the composition and structure of the fatty acids in the lipids of the seeds showed the presence of a set of known but rarely encountered acids: 20:0; 11-20:1; 11,14-20:2; and 11,14,17-20:3.I. A petroleum ether extract ofGlycyrrhiza glabra L. roots was investigated. The extract contains 70% neutral lipids and 30% polar lipids. Hydrocarbons, sterols esters, triacylglycerols, free fatty acids, free sterols, and diacylglycerols were identified. The fatty acid contents of all of the acyl-containing lipids were determined. Fourteen fatty acids were identified; the 18 2 fatty acid prevails among the unsaturated acids, and the 16 0 acid prevails among the saturated acids.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. The lipids of the tuberous roots ofMandragora turcomanica Mizger (fam. Solanaceae) have been characterized for the first time. By using CC, TLC, Ag+-TLC, UV and IR spectroscopies and mass spectrometry, 20 classes of lipids and lipophilic substances have been characterized. The main components of the acyl-containing lipids that were isolated were found to be triacylglycerols and glycolipids, and among the lipophilic compounds they were alkanols and sterols; in the mixture of fatty acids of the acyl-containing lipids the 18:2, 18:1, and 16:0 acids predominated.Translated from Khimiya Prirodnykh Soedinenii, No. 5, pp. 615–623, September–October, 1994.  相似文献

Thermolysis ofMeldrum acid in the presence of cycloalkanones leads to dioxaspiro-alkanediones (3 a–c) by the elimination of acetone. With increasing temperature an additional dehydratation is observed and with two moles ofMeldrum acid pyrano-cycloalkano-pyranediones (6 a–b) are formed. The reaction of dialkylMeldrum acids with cyclic 1,3-diones is investigated.  相似文献

The chemical compositions of the waxes of the flowers ofRosa gallica L., Jasminum grandiflorum L., andViola odorata L. have been characterized. The waxes of these plants mainly contained hydrocarbons and fatty and cyclic alcohols and their esters with fatty acids. The highest level of free fatty acids (12.4%) was found in theJ. grandiflorum wax. Depending on the plant species, the above-mentioned groups of substances differed in composition and amount, but hydrocarbons predominated.Institute of the Chemistry of Plant Substances, Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, fax (371) 120 64 75. Summary 1. The plant material ofFucus vesiculosus has been treated with metallic sodium in liquid ammonia. The total yield of products extractable by ether was 1.1%.2. In the products of the decomposition of the lignin ofFucus vesiculosus 12 phenols and acids have been identified by paper chromatography and gas-liquid chromatography and it has thereby been established that the lignin of algae consists of p-coumaryl, guaiacyl, and syringyl structural units.3. The composition of the decomposition products confirms the hypothesis expressed previously that the brown algaFucus vesiculosus contains lignin.S. M. Kirov Belorussian Technological Institute, Minsk.
