正Electron transporting layer(ETL)materials have attracted much attention in recent years in the research fields of organic/polymer solar cells(OSCs/PSCs)and planar perovskite solar cells(pero-SCs),because ETL materials play very important role in improving the photovoltaic performance of devices.Among the ETL materials reported in literatures, conjugated polymer poly[(9,9-bis(3'-(N,N-dimethylamino)propyl)-2,7-fluorene)-alt-2,7-(9,9-dioctylfluorene)](PFN)show good film-forming property and excellent device performance for the small area PSCs.But the ETL of PFN  相似文献

With the rapid development in recent years, small-molecule organic solar cell is challenging the dominance of its counterpart, polymer solar cell. The top power conversion efficiencies of both single and tandem solar cells based on small molecules have surpassed 9%. In this mini review, achievements of small molecules with impressive photovoltaic performance especially reported in the last two years were highlighted. The relationship between molecular structure and device performance was analyzed, which draws some rules for rational molecular design. Five series of p- and n-type small molecules were selected based on the consideration of their competitiveness of power conversion efficiencies.  相似文献

A decade of significant research has led to the emergence of photovoltaic solar cells based on perovskites that have achieved an exceptionally high-power conversion efficiency of 26.08%. A key breakthrough in perovskite solar cells (PSCs) occurred when solid hole-transporting materials (HTMs) replaced liquid electrolytes in dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs), because HTMs play a crucial role in improving photovoltaic performance as well as cell stability. This review is mainly focused on the HTMs that are responsible for hole transport and extraction in PSCs, which is one of the crucial components for efficient devices. Here, we have reviewed small molecular as well as polymeric HTMs that have been reported in the last two years and discussed their performance based on the analysis of their molecular architectures. Finally, we include a perspective on the molecular engineering of new functional HTMs for highly efficient stable PSCs.  相似文献

Two A-A-D-A-A-type molecules (BCNDTS and BDCDTS), where two terminal electron-withdrawing cyano or dicyanovinylene moieties are connected to a central dithienosilole core through another electron-accepting 2,1,3-benzothiadiazole block, have been synthesized, characterized, and employed as electron donors for small molecule organic solar cells. Vacuum-deposited bilayer and planar mixed heterojunction devices based on BCNDTS and fullerene acceptors (C(60) or C(70)) exhibited decent power conversion efficiencies of 2.3% and 3.7%, respectively.  相似文献

Indacenodithiophene (IDT) derivatives are kinds of the most representative and widely used cores of small molecule acceptors (SMAs) in organic solar cells (OSCs). Here we systematically investigate the influence of end-group fluorination density and position on the photovoltaic properties of the IDT-based SMAs IDIC-nF (n = 0, 2, 4). The absorption edge of IDIC-nF red-shifts with the π-π stacking and crystallinity improvement, and their electronic energy levels downshift with increasing n. Due to the advantages of Jsc and FF as well as acceptable Voc, the difluorinated IDIC-2F acceptor based OSCs achieve the highest power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 13%, better than the OSC devices based on IDIC and IDIC-4F as acceptors. And the photovoltaic performance of the PTQ10: IDIC-2F OSCs is insensitive to the active layer thickness: PCE still keep high values of 12.00% and 11.46% for the devices with active layer thickness of 80 and 354 nm, respectively. This work verifies that fine and delicate modulation of the SMAs molecular structure could optimize photovoltaic performance of the corresponding OSCs. Meanwhile, the thickness-insensitivity property of the OSCs has potential for large-scale and printable fabrication technology.  相似文献

A novel donor-acceptor-acceptor (D-A-A) donor molecule, DTDCTB, in which an electron-donating ditolylaminothienyl moiety and an electron-withdrawing dicyanovinylene moiety are bridged by another electron-accepting 2,1,3-benzothiadiazole block, has been synthesized and characterized. A vacuum-deposited organic solar cell employing DTDCTB combined with the electron acceptor C(70) achieved a record-high power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 5.81%. The respectable PCE is attributed to the solar spectral response extending to the near-IR region and the ultracompact absorption dipole stacking of the DTDCTB thin film.  相似文献

In this study, two fullerenes (C60, C70) and their methano-substitutions (PC61BM, PC71BM), as electron transport materials (ETMs) in perovskite solar cells (Pero-SCs), were systematically studied. As being used as ETMs, methanofullerenes, though with lower electron mobility compared to the counterpart pristine fullerenes, lead to higher power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) of Pero-SCs. The difference is likely caused by the fill-out vacancies and smoother morphology of the interfaces between ETM and perovskite layers, as they were prepared by different methods. In addition, compared to C60 and PC61BM, C70 and PC71BM showed priority in terms of short-circuit current density, which should be attributed to fast free charge extraction abilities.  相似文献

Poly(3-hexylthiophene)(P3HT)is one of the most used semiconducting polymers for organic photovoltaics because it has potential for commercialization due to its easy synthesis and stability.Although the rapid development of the small molecular non-fullerene acceptors(NFAs)have largely improved the power conversion efficiency(PCE)of organic solar cells(OSCs)based on other complicated p-type polymers, the PCE of P3HT-based OSCs is still low.In addition, the design principle and structure-properties correlation for the NFAs matching well with P3HTare still unclear and need to be investigated in depth. Here we designed a series of NFAs comprised of acceptor(A)and donor(D)units with an A2-A1-D-A1-A2 configuration. These NFAs are abbreviated as Qx3,Qx3 b and Qx3c,where indaceno[1,2-b:5,6-b′]dithiophene(IDT),quinoxaline(Qx)and 2-(1,1-dicyanomethylene)rhodanine serve as the middle D,bridged A1 and the end group A2,respectively.By subtracting the phenyl side groups appended on both IDT and Qx skeletons, the absorption spectra, energy levels and crystallinity could be regularly modulated. When paired with P3 HT,three NFAs show totally different photovoltaic performance with PCEs of 3.37%(Qx3),6.37%(Qx3b)and 0.03%(Qx3 c),respectively. From Qx3 to Qx3b,the removing of phenyl side chain in the middle IDT unit results in the increase of crystallinity and electron mobility. However, after subtracting all the grafted phenyl side groups on both IDT and Qx units, the final molecule Qx3 c exhibits the lowest PCE of only 0.03%,which is mainly attributed to the serious phase-separation of the blend film. These results demonstrate that optimizing the substituted position of phenyl side groups for A2-A1-D-A1-A2 type NFAs is vital to regulate the optoelectronic property of molecule and morphological property of active layer for high performance P3HT-based OSCs.  相似文献

Novel donor-acceptor-donor structured small molecular hole transporting materials are developed through a facile route by crosslinking dithienopyrrolobenzothiadiazole and phenothiazine or triarylamine-based donor units. The strong push/pull electron capability of dithienopyrrolobenzothiadiazole/phenothiazine and large π-conjugated dithienopyrrolobenzothiadiazole facilitate hole mobility and high conductivity. The devices using the dithienopyrrolobenzothiadiazole/phenothiazine-based hole transporting material achieved a power conversion efficiency of 14.2% under 1 sun illumination and improved stability under 20% relative humidity at room temperature without encapsulation. The present finding highlights the potential of dithienopyrrolobenzothiadiazole-based donor-acceptor-donor small molecular hole transporting materials for perovskite solar cells.  相似文献

The unique advantages of one-dimensional(1D) oriented nanostructures in light-trapping and chargetransport make them competitive candidates in photovoltaic(PV) devices. Since the emergence of perovskite solar cells(PSCs), 1D nanostructured electron transport materials(ETMs) have drawn tremendous interest. However, the power conversion efficiencies(PCEs) of these devices have always significantly lagged behind their mesoscopic and planar counterparts. Non-fullerene organic solar cells have received increasing attentions in these years, and great progresses have been made since 2013. Among them, aromatic di-amide/imide-containing frameworks have shown promising applications. The outstanding properties of them are highly associated with their unique electronic and structural features, such as strong electron-withdrawing nature, broad absorption in UV-visible region, tunable HOMO/LUMO energy levels, easy modifications, and excellent chemical, thermal and photochemical stabilities. In this review, we give an overview of recent developments of aromatic diamide/imide-containing small molecules used as electron acceptors for organic solar cells.  相似文献

Due to their excellent photoelectron chemical properties and suitable energy level alignment with perovskite, perylene diimide(PDI)derivatives are competitive non-fullerene electron transport material(ETM)candidates for perovskite solar cells(PSCs).However, the conjugated rigid plane structure of PDI units result in PDI-based ETMs tending to form large aggregates, limiting their application and photovoltaic performance. In this study,to restrict aggregation and further enhance the photovoltaic performance of PDI-type ETMs,two PDI-based ETMs,termed PDO-PDI2(dimer)and PDO-PDI3(trimer),were constructed by introducing a phenothiazine 5,5-dioxide(PDO)core building block. The research manifests that the optoelectronic properties and film formation property of PDO-PDI2 and PDO-PDI3 were deeply affected by the molecular spatial configuration.Applied in PSCs,PDO-PDI3 with threedimensional spiral molecular structure, exhibits superior electron extraction and transport properties, further achieving the best PCE of 18.72%and maintaining 93%of its initial efficiency after a 720-h aging test under ambient conditions.  相似文献

Organic solar cells have attracted academic and industrial interests due to the advantages like lightweight, flexibility and roll-to-roll fabrication. Nowadays, 18% power conversion efficiency has been achieved in the state-of-the-art organic solar cells. The recent rapid progress in organic solar cells relies on the continuously emerging new materials and device fabrication technologies, and the deep understanding on film morphology, molecular packing and device physics. Donor and acceptor materials are the key materials for organic solar cells since they determine the device performance. The past 25 years have witnessed an odyssey in developing high-performance donors and acceptors. In this review, we focus on those star materials and milestone work, and introduce the molecular structure evolution of key materials. These key materials include homopolymer donors, D-A copolymer donors, A-D-A small molecular donors, fullerene acceptors and nonfullerene acceptors. At last, we outlook the challenges and very important directions in key materials development.  相似文献

As an emerging donor building block, naphthodithiophene (NDT) is causing more concerns in the field of organic semiconductors. With the rigid and coplanar molecule structure, NDT will exhibit more application space relying on its own advantage for facilitating the charge carrier transport. In this review article, we have summarized the development progress on the NDT-based donor materials for solution processed organic solar cells. Discussions and comments on those representative NDT type materials about structure and property are also presented.  相似文献

The electron transport in dye-sensitized solar cells with a MOCVD (metal organic vapor deposition)-grown ZnO nanorod array (ZnO-N) or a mesoporous film prepared from ZnO colloids (ZnO-C) as the working electrode was compared. The electrodes were of similar thickness (2 mum) and sensitized with zinc(II) meso-tetrakis(3-carboxyphenyl)porphyrin, while the electrolyte was I(-)/I(3)(-) in 3-methoxypropionitrile. Electron transport in the ZnO-C cells was comparable with that found for colloidal TiO(2) films (transport time approximately 10 ms) and was light intensity dependent. Electron transport in solar cells with ZnO-N electrodes was about 2 orders of magnitude faster ( approximately 30 mus). Thus, the morphology of the working ZnO electrode plays a key role for the electron transport properties.  相似文献

Three small-molecule donors based on dithieno [2,3-d:2’,3 ’-d’]-benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b’] dithiophene(DTBDT)unit were designed and synthesized by side chain regulation with chlorinated or/and sulfurated substitutions(namely ZR1,ZR1-Cl,and ZR1-S-Cl respectively),along with a crystalline non-fullerene acceptor IDIC-4 Cl with a chlorinated 1,1-dicyanomethylene-3-indanone(IC) end group.Energy levels, molar extinction coefficients and crystallinities of three donor molecules can be effectively altered by combining chlorination and sulfuration strategies.Especially, the ZR1-S-Cl exhibited the best absorption ability, lowest higher occupied molecular orbital(HOMO) energy level and highest crystallinity among three donors, resulting in the corresponding all-small-molecule organic solar cells to produce a high power conversion efficiency(PCE) of 12.05% with IDIC-4 Cl as an acceptor.  相似文献
