In this paper, we apply He''s Variational iteration method (VIM) for solving nonlinear Newell-Whitehead-Segel equation. By using this method three different cases of Newell-Whitehead-Segel equation have been discussed. Comparison of the obtained result with exact solutions shows that the method used is an effective and highly promising method for solving different cases of nonlinear Newell-Whitehead-Segel equation.  相似文献

In this article, a spectral method accompanied by finite difference method has been proposed for solving a boundary value problem that accompanies a stationary transport equation. We also prove that the solution is bounded by a value that depends of the source function. A class of exact Pfaffian solutions to a (3+1)-dimensional generalized B-type Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation is obtained. A set of sufficient conditions consisting of systems of linear partial differential equations involving free parameters is generated to guarantee that the Pfaffian solves the equation. A Bäcklund transformation of the equation is presented. The equation is transformed into a set of bilinear equations, and a few classes of traveling wave solutions, rational solutions and Pfaffian solutions to the extended bilinear equations are furnished. Examples of the Pfaffian solutions are explicitly computed, and a few solutions are plotted.  相似文献

A new rational auxiliary equation method for obtaining exact traveling wave solutions of constant coefficient nonlinear partial differential equations of evolution is proposed. Its effectiveness is evinced by obtaining exact solutions of a generalized Zakharov system, some of which are new. It is shown that the G/G and the generalized projective Ricatti expansion methods are special cases of the auxiliary equation method. Further, due the solutions obtained, four other new and practicable rational methods are deduced.  相似文献

In this paper, a series of abundant exact travelling wave solutions is established for a modified generalized Vakhnenko equation by using auxiliary equation method. These solutions can be expressed by Jacobi elliptic function. When Jacobi elliptic functions modulus m→1 or 0, the travelling wave solutions degenerate to four types of solutions, namely, the soliton solutions, the hyperbolic function solutions, the trigonometric function solutions, constant solutions.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider Newton’s method and Bernoulli’s method for a quadratic matrix equation arising from an overdamped vibrating system. By introducing M-matrix to this equation, we provide a sufficient condition for the existence of the primary solution. Moreover, we show that Newton’s method and Bernoulli’s method with an initial zero matrix converge to the primary solvent under the proposed sufficient condition.  相似文献

This paper establishes a method to study the exponential stability of Euler-Maruyama (EM) method for impulsive stochastic differential equations with delay. By using the properties of M-matrix and stochastic analysis technique, some conditions under which the EM solution is exponentially mean-square stable are obtained. In this paper,the Exp-function method is used to construct exact solitary wave solutions for the generalized Burgers-Fisher equation with nonlinear terms of any order.With the aid of Maple computation,we obtain many new and more general exact solitary wave solutions expressed by various exponential and hyperbolic functions.Our results can successfully recover previously known solitary wave solutions that have been found by the tanh-function method and other more sophisticated methods.  相似文献

In this work, the transient analytic solution is found for the initial-boundary-value Burgers equation in 0?x?L. The boundary conditions are a homogeneous Dirichlet condition at x=0 and a constant total flux at x=L. The technique used consists of applying the transformation that reduces Burgers equation to a linear diffusion-advection equation. Previous work on this equation in a bounded region has only applied the Cole-Hopf transformation , which transforms Burgers equation to the linear diffusion equation. The Cole-Hopf transformation can only solve Burgers equation with constant Dirichlet boundary conditions, or time-dependent Dirichlet boundary conditions of the form u(0,t)=F1(t) and u(L,t)=F2(t),0?x?L. In this work, it is shown that the Cole-Hopf transformation will not solve Burgers equation in a bounded region with the boundary conditions dealt with in this work.  相似文献

In this note, the authors establish a non-extinction result for the changing sign solution with negative initial energy by discussing a suitable differential inequality. The result gives an answer to the problem unsolved in Qu, Bai, Zheng (2014) [1]. Two examples are given in the paper to show the existence of the initial datum with negative initial energy.  相似文献

In this study, by using planar bifurcation method of dynamical system, we study a generalized Camassa-Holm (gCH) equation. As results, under different parameter conditions, many bounded travelling wave solutions such as periodic waves, periodic cusp waves, solitary waves, peakons, loops and kink waves are given. In this paper, differential transform method (DTM), which is one of the approximate methods is implemented for solving the nonlinear Hirota-Satsuma coupled KdV partial differential equation. A variety of initial value system is considered, and the convergence of the method as applied to the Hirota-Satsuma coupled KdV equation is illustrated numerically. The obtained results are presented and only few terms of the expansion are required to obtain the approximate solution which is found to be accurate and efficient. Numerical examples are illustrated the pertinent features of the proposed algorithm.  相似文献
