The experimental and theoretical study on the structures and vibrations of 1,3-bis(4-pyridyl)propane are presented. The FT-IR and Raman spectra of molecule have been measured. The optimized geometric bond lengths have been obtained by DFT show the best agreements with experimental values. The harmonic vibrational frequencies were calculated and scaled values have been compared with experimental FT-IR and FT-Raman spectra. Majority of the computed wavenumbers were found to be in good agreement with experimental observations. A complete assignment of the fundamentals was proposed based on the total energy distribution (TED) calculation.  相似文献

The reaction of (dpp-bian)Ga–Zn(dpp-bian) (dpp-bian is 1,2-bis[(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imino]acenaphthene) with 1,3-di(4-pyridyl)propane results in 1D coordination polymer [(dpp-bian)Ga–Zn(dpp-bian)(μ2-1,3-Py2(CH2)3)]n with the retained Ga–Zn bond. In contrast, the coordination of 1,3-di(4-pyridyl)propane to Zn atoms in the (dpp-bian)Zn–Zn(dpp-bian) complex induces the cleavage of the Zn–Zn bond which is accompanied by reduction of dpp-bian radical anions to dianions. The reaction product represents 1D coordination polymer [{(dpp-bian)Zn}(μ2-1,3-Py2(CH2)3)]n.  相似文献

Complexes of transition metal ions with the oxygen-nitrogen containing ligand 1,3-bis(2-pyridyl)-1,3-propanedione (bpypH) have been synthesized. These present stoichiometries which do not conform with the usual tendency manifested by β-diketones, since molecular formulas with the composition M(bpyp)X are found. A nitrogen methylated ligand N,N′-dimethyl-1,3-bis(2-pyridyl)-1,3-propanedione methyl sulphate [dimebpypH] (MeSO4)2 has also been synthesized and its complexes with transition metal ions studied. The stoichiometries now, resemble those of typical β-diketones, namely [dimepyp]2MX4 with four anions because of the dicationic nature of the original ligand. This, together with IR evidence suggests a dual type of coordination by bpip via the β-diketone and the pyridyl moieties.  相似文献

Interactions of dithioether ligands L2, L4 and L5 (L2 = 1,3-bis(4-(3-pyridyl) pyrimidin-2-ylthio) propane; L4 = 1,3-bis[4-(3-pyridyl) pyrimidinyl thiomethyl]benzene; L5 = 1,4-bis[4-(3-pyridyl)pyrimidinylthiomethyl] benzene) with Mn(II) ions and NH4SCN in an analogous way led to the formation of two discrete mononuclear complexes and a one-dimensional chain, respectively, which may be attributed to the different flexibility and positional isomerism of the ligands.  相似文献

Ab initio restricted Hartree–Fock and density function theory calculations using BLYP, B3LYP and B3PW91 functionals were carried out to study molecular structure and vibrational spectrum of 1,2-bis(2-pyridyl)ethylene (which is abbreviated as bpe). Comparison of calculated and experimental results indicates the density functional B3LYP and BLYP/6-311G* methods are more accurate in predicting fundamental vibrational frequencies than the scaled other approaches. On the basis of calculated results, assignment of fundamental vibrational modes of bpe was proposed. Complexes of the type Zn(bpe)X2 [where X = Cl, Br, I] have been studied in the 4000–400 cm−1 region, and assignments of all the observed bands were made. The analysis of the infrared spectra indicates that there is some structure-spectra correlations.  相似文献

The new cyclodiphosph(V)azane derivatives (1,3-dimethyl-2,4-dioxo-2',4'-bis(2,4-bis(dimethylaminopropylimino)cyclodiphosph(V)azane (H2L1) (1,3-dimethyl-2,4-dioxo-2',4'-bis(2,4-bis(dimethylaminoethylimino)cyclodiphosph(V)azane (H2L2) and (1,3-dimethyl-2,4-dioxo-2'-(dimethylaminoethylimino)-4'-(dimethylaminopropyl-imino)cyclodiphosph(V)azane (H2L3) containing four active coordination centers (NNNN) and their Cu(II) complexes have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, spectroscopic methods, molar conductance as well as thermal and magnetic measurements. The UV–Vis and mass spectra of the ligands and their Cu(II) complexes were also recorded. The copper(II) complexes were found to have magnetic moments of 1.58–1.69 B. M. corresponding to one unpaired electron. The possible geometries of the complexes were assigned on the basis of EPR, electronic, and infrared spectral studies. The absence of water molecules in all complexes was supported by thermal studies. All the thermal decomposition processes ended with the formation of CuO. The kinetic and thermodynamic parameters have been calculated. The ligand (H2L3) and its Cu(II) complexes were screened for their anticancer studies against human breast cancer cell lines MCF-7 and minimum inhibitory concentration was calculated. The screening was extended to the antibacterial activity using Kirby–Bauer single disk susceptibility test for all compounds.  相似文献

Multiply charged ions from electrospray ionization (ESI) were observed for ruthenium-bidentate ligand complexes, such as [RuL2B]X2 and [(RuL2)2B]X4, where L is 2,2′-bipyridine, B are tetradentate ligands of 2,2′-bis(2′-pyridyl)bibenzimidazole and 2,6-bis(2′-pyridyl)benzodiimidazole, bidentate ligand of 2-(2′-pyridyl)benzimidazole and related compounds and X is CIO4- or CI-. ESI mass spectra showed a simple mass pattern for easy structural assignment and detecting impurities. The mass spectra for binuclear complexes provide a charge state distribution ranging from 4+ to 2+ for Ru(II)—Ru(II) compounds and 5+ to 2+ for Ru(II)—Rh(III) compounds. It was found that different multiply charged ions are generated by loss of counterions and by protonation/deprotonation at the proton site of ligands B. The abundances of these ions are qualitatively explained in terms of the acidity of metal complexes depending on the bridging ligand structures and the charge of the metal ions. Ions produced by removal of ligands were hardly observed.  相似文献

A variety of neutral palladium(II) complexes [Pd(L–L)Cl2] containing 1,3-di(2-pyridyl)propane (1), 1,3-bis(2-pyridyl)-2-pentylpropane (2), 1,3-bis(2-pyridyl)-2-phenylpropane (3a), 1,3-bis(2-pyridyl)-2-tolylpropane (4), and 1,3-bis(2-pyridyl)-2-ferrocenylpropane (5) as chelate ligands (L–L) have been synthesized. The crystal structures of 1,3-diphenyl-2,4-di-pyridin-2-yl-butan-1-ol (3b), 5, [(2)PdCl2], [(4)PdCl2], and [(5)PdCl2] have been determined and show a square planar geometry at palladium(II). The neutral complexes were tested in the polymerization of norbornene and copolymerization of norbornene with norbornene derivatives. The complex bearing the pentyl group exhibited high reactivity to give up to 5.9×105 in molecular weight for the homopolymerization. When [(4)PdCl2] or [(5)PdCl2] was used as a catalyst, homopolymers insoluble at 150 °C in trichlorobenzene were obtained. However, copolymerization of norbornene with norbornene derivatives 8a–d catalyzed by [(4)PdCl2] gave soluble copolymers with molecular weights up to 5.1×105.  相似文献

Summary Coordination compounds formed by the interaction of 1,3-bis(4-pyridyl)propane (DPP) with some divalent metal halides and pseudohalides have been prepared and characterized by magnetic susceptibilities, electronic and i.r. spectral measurements down to 200 cm–1 in the solid state. The i.r. spectra indicate that DPP acts mostly as a bidentate bridging ligand in these complexes. Moreover, the two pyridyl rings which are nonplanar in uncoordinated DPP become coplanar upon coordination. Tentative stereo chemistries of the complexes have been suggested in the solid state. The ligand field parameters Dq, B, , and 2/1 have been calculated for the cobalt(II) and nickel(II) complexes and are consistent with the proposed stereo chemistries.  相似文献

The self-assembly of metallosupramolecules from reactions of flexible 2-pyridyl ligands and silver salts is described. When 1,3-bis(2-pyridyl)propane (L1), tris[(2-pyridyl)methyl]methane (L2), and 1,3-bis(2-pyridyl)-2-tolylpropane (L3) are used in combination with silver ions, novel discrete metallocyclic complexes are formed in crystals. Moreover, the self-assembly of 1,3-bis(2-pyridyl)-2-phenylpropane (L4) with silver nitrate yields a coordination polymer. The examination of its solution shows that this coordination polymer is formed via the solution-based discrete metallocyclic species.  相似文献

A novel three-dimensional (3D) supramolecular assembly of Standberg-type polyoxometalate and flexible organic molecule (H2bpp)3[Mo5P2O23]·H2O (1) [bpp = 1,3-bis(4-pyridyl)propane] has been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, IR spectra, elemental analysis and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). X-ray analyses show that compound 1 represent a twofold interpenetrating 3D supramolecular architecture constructed of Standberg-type polyoxometalate and bpp molecular through the hydrogen bonds as well as electrostatic interactions.  相似文献

The two title compounds were prepared from the ligand pydc with cobalt(II) acetate in the presence of L1 and L2 (L1 = 1,3-bis(4-pyridyl)propane, L2 = 3-amino-1H-1,2,4-triazole, pydc = 2,6-pyridinedicarboxylic acid). The complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectrum and single crystal X-ray diffraction. Single crystal analysis shows that in two complexes coordination number around Co atom is six with distorted octahedral geometry, and both two complexes consist of ion pairs containing cationic [Co(H2O) n ]2+ and anionic [Co(pydc)2]2- units.  相似文献

The molecular geometry and vibrational frequencies of trans-1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)-ethylene (t-BPE) in the ground state were calculated using density functional theory (DFT) methods with 6–31++G(2d,p) basis set. The optimized geometric bond lengths and bond angles are obtained by DFT employing the hybrid of Beckes nonlocal three-parameter exchange and correlation functional and Lee–Yang–Parr correlation functional (B3LYP). Fourier transform Infrared (FTIR), Fourier transform Raman (FT-Raman) and near-infrared surface-enhanced Raman scattering (NIR-SERS) spectra of t-BPE on the silver foil substrate were recorded. All FTIR, FT-Raman and NIR-SERS band were assigned on the basis of the B3LYP/6-31++G(2d,p) method. The vibrational frequencies obtained by DFT(B3LYP) are in good agreement with observed results. Surface selection rules derived from the electromagnetic enhancement model were employed to infer the orientations of t-BPE on the silver foil substrate surface.  相似文献

The synthesis, electronic absorption, infrared and 13C NMR spectra, and electrochemistry of [Cr(CO)4]dpp and [W(CO)4]dpp (dpp = 2,3-bis(2-pyridyl)pyrazine) are reported. Electronic absorption spectra in different solvents show solvatochromic behavior and indicate the metal to ligand charge transfer (MLCT) excited state is lower in energy than the ligand field (LF) excited state. Electrochemical results show the [Cr(CO)4]dpp complex undergoes semi-reversible one electron oxidation, while [W(CO)4]dpp undergoes irreversible one electron oxidation. 13C NMR spectra of both complexes show all carbons in the metal-bound dpp ring shift downfield. The amount of downfield shift for the series [M(CO)4]dpp (M = Cr, Mo, W) is interpreted as indicating better M dπ → dpp pπ backbonding occurs for Mo and W than for Cr.  相似文献

New Pd(II) and Pt(II) 3,6-bis(2′-pyridyl)pyridazine (dppn) mononuclear complexes of the type M(dppn)Cl2 were prepared and characterized. From M(dppn)Cl2, the bimetallic homonuclear complexes M(dppn)MCl4 were prepared by reaction with Pd(PhCN)2Cl2 or K2PtCl4. Bimetallic heteronuclear species of the type M(dppn)M′Cl4, were prepared reacting the mononuclear complexes with the stoichiometric amount of M′Cl2 (M′ = Cu, Co, Ni). All the described reaction give product in high yield. The isolated compounds, almost completely insoluble in most organic solvents, were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, ESR, reflectance spectra, and magnetic moment measurements. On the basis of these data the geometries around the metals are discussed.  相似文献

bis(alkoxycarbonyl) complexes of platinum of the type [Pt(COOR)2L] [L = 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane (dppe), 1,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)propane (dppp), l,4-bis(diphenylphosphino)butane (dppb), 1,1'-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene (dppf) or 1,2-bis-(diphenylphosphino)benzene (dpb); R = CH3, C6H5 or C2H5] were obtained by reaction of [PtCl2L] with carbon monoxide and alkoxides. Palladium and nickel complexes gave only carbonyl complexes of the type [M(CO)L] or [M(CO)2L]. The new complexes were characterized by chemical and spectroscopic means. The X-ray structure of [Pt(COOCH3)2(dppf] · CH3OH is also reported. The reactivity of some alkoxycarbonyl complexes was also investigated.  相似文献

Synthesis, crystal structure and the vibrational spectra of coordination polymers with 1,3-bis(4-pyridyl)propane (BPP) and squarate ion ligands and transition metal ions (M = Mn2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+ and Zn2+) are described. All compounds are isostructural, and the BPP is not coordinated to metal site since it is in cationic form due to protonation of N atoms from pyridyl rings. The metal is coordinated to two squarate ions and two water molecules in an octahedral distorted geometry. The two water molecules are involved in medium hydrogen bonds with squarate ligands and the average of O?O distance is 2.679(3) Å. Squarate ions adopt the 1,3-bis(monodentate) coordination mode bridging two metal centers giving rise to a 2D arrangement with (4,4) topology. The four-member ring is slightly distorted and the M–M distances are respectively 8.024 and 8.111 Å. The cationic form of BPP molecules are located inside of four-member ring cavity, presenting two different orientations, in which one molecule is inverted comparing to another. Vibrational spectra of all compounds are very similar, in agreement to crystal data. In all infrared spectra of the compounds a medium band at 1640 cm−1 is observed, assigned to the in plane deformation mode of NH bond, indicative of the formation of cationic BPP. In the Raman spectra of the investigated compounds is observed a weak band around 1800 cm−1, assigned to the stretching mode of free CO bond, whereas the medium band observed around 1600 cm−1 is tentatively assigned to coordinated CO stretching mode. At last, a very important achievement of this investigation refers to the coordination geometries of all the investigated compounds, which are governed only by the ligands, independently of the different electronic properties of the metal ions.  相似文献

Four new heteroleptic [Cu(NN)P2]+-type cuprous complexes— 1 -TPP, 2 -POP, 3 -Xantphos, and 4 -DPPF—were designed and synthesized using a diimine ligand 2-(2′-pyridyl)benzoxazole (2-PBO) and different phosphine ligands (TPP, triphenylphosphine; POP, bis[2-(diphenylphosphino)phenyl]ether; Xantphos, 4,5-bis(diphenylphosphino)-9,9-dimethylxanthene; DPPF, 1,1′-bis(diphenylphosphino)-ferrocene). All complexes were characterized using single-crystal X-ray diffraction, spectroscopic analysis (infrared, UV–Vis.), elemental analysis, and photoluminescence (PL). Single-crystal X-ray diffraction revealed complexes 1 – 4 as isolated cation complex structures with a tetrahedral CuN2P2 coordination geometry and diverse P–Cu–P angles. Their UV–Vis. absorption spectra exhibited a blue-shift sequence in wavelength with an enlarged P–Cu–P angle from 4 to 2 then to 3 and then to 1 . The PL emission peaks of 1 – 3 also exhibited a similar blue-shift sequence ( 2 → 3 → 1 ). Their PL lifetime in microseconds (~7.5, 5.1, and 4.7 μs for 1 , 2 , and 3 , respectively) indicated that their PL behavior represents phosphorescence. Time-dependent density functional theory (TD-DFT) calculation and wavefunction analysis revealed that S1 and T1 states of 1 – 3 should be assigned as metal–ligand and ligand–ligand charge-transfer (ML + L'L)CT states. Their UV–Vis. absorption and phosphorescence should be attributed to the charge transfer from the P–Cu–P segment to the 2-PBO ligand. Therefore, as the P–Cu–P angle increased (lower HOMO), the energy of S1 and T1 states also increased, following the change of PL color.  相似文献

Reaction of 1,3-bis(methyldichlorosilyl)propane with alcohols gives (methylalkoxychlorosilyl)propanes. Hydrolysis of the latter with the calculated amount of water in the presence of a HCl acceptor gives 2, 6-dimethyl-2,6-dialkoxy-1-oxa-2,6-disilacyclohexanes. Hydrolysis of 1,3-bis(methyl-dichlorosilyl)propane and 1,3-bis(methylalkoxy-chlorosilyl)propane gives a tricyclic carbocyclosiloxane. A study is made of the reactions of 2, 6-dimethyl-2, 6-dialkoxy-1-oxa-2, 6-disilacyclohexane with alcohols, triethylsilanol, triethylchlorosilane, and C6H5MgBr.  相似文献

Three new cocrystals based upon 2,2′-diamino-4,4′-bis(1,3-thiazole) (DABTZ) with 4,4′-bipyridine (4,4′-bipy), 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethylene (bpe) and 1,3-bis(4-pyridyl)propane (bpp): [(DABTZ) (4,4′-bipy)], [(DABTZ) (bpe)] and [(DABTZ) (bpp)] have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR-, 1H NMR-, 13C NMR spectroscopy and studied by thermal and X-ray crystallography. Self-assembly of these compounds in the solid state is likely caused by both hydrogen bonding, and π-π stacking.  相似文献
