This paper considers the problem of practical finite-time stability (PFTS) for switched nonlinear time-varying (SNTV) systems. Starting with nonlinear time-varying (NTV) systems, a new sufficient condition is proposed to verify the PFTS of systems by using an improved Lyapunov function. Then, the results obtained are extended to study the PFTS of SNTV systems. Two stability conditions are proposed for SNTV systems under arbitrary switching, moreover, the time and region of convergence are also given. Furthermore, an initial state-dependent dwell time method is introduced to study the PFTS of SNTV systems. Three stability conditions are proposed by using the methods of initial state-dependent minimum dwell time (ISD-MDT) and initial state-dependent average dwell time (ISD-ADT), respectively. The comparisons between the obtained results and the existing results are also given, and the obtained results are extended to impulsive switched nonlinear time-varying (ISNTV) systems. Finally, a numerical example is provided to illustrate the theoretical results.  相似文献

This study considers the problem of finite-time filtering for switched linear systems with a mode-dependent average dwell time. By introducing a newly augmented Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and considering the relationship between time-varying delays and their upper delay bounds, sufficient conditions are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities such that the filtering error system is finite-time bounded and a prescribed noise attenuation level is guaranteed for all non-zero noises. Thus, a finite-time filter is designed for switched linear systems with a mode-dependent average dwell time. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed methods.  相似文献

This paper is focused on global exponential stability of certain switched systems with time-varying delays. By using an average dwell time (ADT) approach that is different from the method in [P.H.A. Ngoc, On exponential stability of nonlinear differential systems with time-varying delay, Applied Mathematics Letters 25 (2012) 1208–1213], we establish a new global exponential stability criterion for the switched linear time-delay system under the ADT switching. We also apply this method to a general switched nonlinear time-delay system. A numerical example is given to show the effectiveness of our results.  相似文献

This paper investigates stability and stabilization of positive switched systems with mode-dependent average dwell time, which permits to each subsystem in the underlying systems to have its own average dwell time. First, by using the multiple linear copositive Lyapunov function, the stability analysis of continuous-time systems in the autonomous form is addressed based on the mode-dependent average dwell time switching strategy. Then, the stabilization of non-autonomous systems is considered. State-feedback controllers are constructed, and all the proposed conditions are solvable in terms of linear programming. The obtained results are also extended to discrete-time systems. Finally, the simulation examples are given to illustrate the correctness of the design. The switching strategy used in the paper seems to be more effective than the average dwell time switching by some comparisons.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the exponential stabilization and L2‐gain for a class of uncertain switched nonlinear systems with interval time‐varying delay. Based on Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional method, novel delay‐dependent sufficient conditions of exponential stabilization for a class of uncertain switched nonlinear delay systems are developed under an average dwell time scheme. Then, novel criteria to ensure the exponential stabilization with weighted L2‐gain performance for a class of uncertain switched nonlinear delay systems are established. Furthermore, an effective method is proposed for the designing of a stabilizing feedback controller with L2‐gain performance. Finally, some numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper investigates the stability of switched nonlinear time-delay systems with stable and unstable subsystems. Several stability criteria are presented by resorting to novel inequality technique and average dwell time approach, which relax the assumptions that all subsystem matrices are commutative pairwise and Hurwitz stable. Finally, two numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper, a general class of impulsive delayed switched systems is considered. By employing the Lyapunov–Razumikhin method and some analysis techniques, we established several global asymptotic stability and global exponential stability criteria for the considered impulsive delayed switched systems, which improve and extend some recent works. As an application, the result of global exponential stability are used to study a class of uncertain linear switched systems with time‐varying delays. Several LMI‐based conditions are proposed to guarantee the global robust stability and global exponential stabilization. The designed memoryless state feedback controller can be easily checked by the LMI toolbox in Matlab. Moreover, the dwell time constraint is imposed for the switching law. Finally, two numerical examples and their simulations are given to show the effectiveness of our proposed results. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Switching between the system and the associated observer or controller is in fact asynchronous in switched control systems. However, many times we assume it synchronous, for simplicity. In this paper, the robust observer design problems for a class of nonlinear uncertain switched systems for synchronous and asynchronous switching are addressed. At first, a robust observer under synchronous switching is proposed based on average dwell time approach. After that, the results are extended to robust observer design in the asynchronous case. In this case, two working modes are adopted to facilitate the studies on the issue. Finally, an extension case covering more practical applications is investigated under asynchronous switching. The designed observer cannot maintain the asymptotical stability of error state, but the eventual boundness is guaranteed. At the end, a numerical design example is given to illustrate our results.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the stability properties of a class of impulsive stochastic differential systems with Markovian switching. Employing the generalized average dwell time (gADT) approach, some criteria on the global asymptotic stability in probability and the stochastic input-to-state stability of the systems under consideration are established. Two numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results, as well as the effects of the impulses and the Markovian switching on the systems stability.  相似文献

In this paper, we focus on the robust exponential stability of a class of uncertain nonlinear impulsive switched systems with switching delays. We introduce a novel type of piecewise Lyapunov-Razumikhin functions. Such functions can efficiently eliminate the impulsive and switching jump of adjacent Lyapunov functions at impulsive switching instants. By Razumikhin technique, the delay-independent criteria of exponential stability are established on the minimum dwell time. Finally, an illustrative numerical example is presented to show the effectiveness of the obtained theoretical results.  相似文献

This paper considers the problem of fixed-time stability (FTS) for switched nonlinear time-varying (NTV) systems. Firstly, three sufficient conditions are proposed to verify the FTS of NTV systems by using the improved Lyapunov function, which has a tighter upper bound of time derivative. Then, two FTS conditions are given for the switched NTV system by extending the obtained results, moreover, a switching strategy is also provided by using the minimum dwell time method. Finally, the obtained results are extended to study the FTS of impulsive NTV systems. Comparing with the existing results, the obtained conditions have two improvements: (1) provides a more accurate estimate for the upper bound of settling time of NTV systems, and (2) allows the Lyapunov function to increase at the switching instant of switched NTV (or impulsive NTV) systems. Two numerical examples are given to illustrate the theoretical results.  相似文献

The issue of stability and stabilization for a class of nonlinear impulsive hybrid systems based on finite state machine (FSM) with mode-dependent average dwell time (MDADT) is investigated in this paper. The concepts of global asymptotic stability and global exponential stability are extended for the systems, and the multiple Lyapunov functions (MLFs) are constructed to prove the sufficient conditions of global asymptotic stability and global exponential stability, respectively. Furthermore, the method of stabilization is also given for the hybrid systems. The application of MLFs and MDADT leads to a reduction of conservativeness in contrast with classical Lyapunov function. Finally, a numerical example is given to show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed approach.  相似文献

The main objective of this paper is to study the stability and stabilization problems for a class of impulsive switched systems with inappropriate impulsive switching signals under asynchronous switching. Here, “inappropriate” means that the impulse jump moment may be inconsistent with the asynchronous switching moment or the system switching moment. And “asynchronous” implies that the switching of controller modes lags behind that of system modes. The hybrid case of stable or unstable subsystems combining with stable and unstable impulses is explored. A novel Lyapunov-like function is constructed, which is discontinuous at some special instants, including the switching instants, the instants when the system modes and filter modes are matched, and the impulse jump instants. Based on the novel multiple Lyapunov-like function, the sufficient conditions for the closed loop system to be globally uniformly exponentially stable (GUES) are obtained with admissible edge-dependent switching signals. Furthermore, by excogitating the state-feedback switching controller, the gain matrix of the controller can be obtained by solving the linear matrix inequalities. Finally, two numerical examples and simulation results are given to prove the effectiveness of our main results.  相似文献

This article focuses on the robust sampled‐data control for a class of uncertain switched neutral systems based on the average dwell‐time approach. In particular, the system is considered with probabilistic input delay using sampled state vectors, which are described by the stochastic variables with a Bernoulli distributed white sequence and time‐varying norm‐bounded uncertainties. By constructing a novel Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional which involves the lower and upper bounds of the delay, a new set of sufficient conditions are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities for ensuring the robust exponential stability of the uncertain switched neutral system about its equilibrium point. Moreover, based on the stability criteria, a state feedback sampled‐data control law is designed for the considered system. Finally, a numerical example based on the water‐quality dynamic model for the Nile River is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed design technique. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this paper, the fault-tolerant control for a class of discrete-time switched systems with time-varying delay and actuator saturation is investigated. By using a newly constructed Lyapunov functional and the average dwell time scheme, a design procedure is developed for the mode-dependent state feedback controller which ensures the exponential stability of the closed-loop systems. Moreover, an optimization problem with linear matrix inequality (LMI) constraints is formulated to estimate the domain of attraction of the origin for the underlying systems. A numerical example is finally given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper investigates observer-based model predictive control (MPC) for switched systems with a mixed time/event-triggering mechanism. The problem of predictive control that can achieve receding horizon optimization is considered and solved by minimizing an upper bound of the quadratic cost function. Since the system state may not be fully measured in practice, state observers are employed to estimate. A mixed mechanism including adaptive event-triggering and time-triggering is proposed, which can be switched determined by a threshold describing system performance to better balance system resource utilization and performance requirements. Then, a closed-loop switched system subject to networked-time-delay is modeled. Piecewise Lyapunov function technique and average dwell time approach are utilized to ensure asymptotical stability. Afterwards, MPC controller construction problem is turned into a LMIs feasibility problem. A new solving method of sufficient conditions for co-design of the state observers, feedback controllers and mixed triggering mechanism is derived. Lastly, simulation examples illustrate the correctness and advantages of research content.  相似文献

This article investigates the finite‐time stability, stabilization, and boundedness problems for switched nonlinear systems with time‐delay. Unlike the existing average dwell‐time technique based on time‐dependent switching strategy, largest region function strategy, that is, state‐dependent switching control strategy is adopted to design the switching signal, which does not require the switching instants to be given in advance. Some sufficient conditions which guarantee finite‐time stable, stabilization, and boundedness of switched nonlinear systems with time‐delay are presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Detail proofs are given using multiple Lyapunov‐like functions. A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
