Absolute absorption rates of water vapor have been measured in the laboratory in the high-frequency wing of the 183 GHz line. Measurements have been carried out for pure water vapor and mixtures with N2 at atmospheric pressure. Pressure- and temperature-dependences are compared with models involving several types of lineshapes.  相似文献

A detailed analysis of the population of the N2 vibrational states for the N2 (C 3 II u,X 1 g + ) electronic states has been carried out. Quantitative spectral and microwave measurements of vibrational temperatures and electron densities were performed for 2400 MHz non-isothermic pulsed discharges in flowing nitrogen at pressures (60–2700) Pa. From the time dependent peak intensities of the second positive system of N2, the temperature of neutral gas during the h.f. pulses has been determined.  相似文献

The temperature dependence of the electric field gradient (efg) in TbCoO3 perovskite was measured by perturbed angular correlation (PAC) technique using 111Cd and181Ta nuclear probes. The radioactive parent nuclei 111In and 181Hf were introduced into the compound through a chemical process during sample preparation. The electric quadrupole interactions at 111Cd show two different sites, assigned to probe substituting Tb and Co atoms. The temperature dependence of quadrupole frequencies show sharp discontinuities which have been interpreted as thermally activated spin state transitions from low-spin ground state configuration to the intermediate-spin state and from intermediate-spin to high-spin state of Co3?+? ion. For 181Ta only one interaction was observed, which was assigned to probe at Co site. Indication of a Jahn–Teller distortion, which stabilizes the intermediate-spin state with orbital ordering, is also pointed out. No magnetic order was observed till 77 K.  相似文献

Electric field noise from fluctuating patch potentials is a significant problem for a broad range of precision experiments, including trapped ion quantum computation and single spin detection. Recent results demonstrated strong suppression of this noise by cryogenic cooling, suggesting an underlying thermal process. We present measurements characterizing the temperature and frequency dependence of the noise from 7 to 100 K, using a single Sr+ ion trapped 75 mum above the surface of a gold plated surface electrode ion trap. The noise amplitude is observed to have an approximate 1/f spectrum around 1 MHz, and grows rapidly with temperature as T;{beta} for beta from 2 to 4. The data are consistent with microfabricated cantilever measurements of noncontact friction but do not extrapolate to the dc measurements with neutral atoms or contact potential probes.  相似文献

Electric characteristics of a high-frequency torch discharge measured by the resonance method are presented. It is shown that discharge capacity determined by the modified Neumann scheme is close to the value of electrostatic capacity. Capacity of discharge channel was calculated with consideration of propagation of a surface electromagnetic wave along this channel.  相似文献

The method of perturbed angular distributions was used to measure the temperature dependence of the electric field gradient in Er single crystal for 98 KT156 K. The I=11 isomer in Er154) was used as a probe. 0 increases monotonically for 98 KT259 K and then decreases. We have measured the quadrupole interaction of 107CdHg as a function of temperature. The relatively large temperature variation observed is consistent with the assumption of lattice vibrations as the main source for the temperature dependence of the electric field gradient.  相似文献

The temperature dependence of the nuclear quadrupole interaction of the188Hg(12+) isomer in a Bi host has been measured by the TDPAD technique. Assuming that the T3/2 law is valid for this system a fit at the high temperature region yields Q(T=0)=132(6) MHz and B=7.2(6)×10–5K–3/2. The electric field gradient at indium surfaces was studied with111In PAC-probes as a function of temperature. The surface field gradient was determined to be temperature independent up to 100 K and the fraction of111In surface sites shows a pronounced annealing behaviour between 150 K and 250 K.  相似文献

We report electrical transport properties of intentionally and unintentionally doped wurtzite GaN epilayers within the temperature range of 3K up to 340 K. Specifically, temperature dependence of the carrier concentration, mobility and resistivity are investigated. Obtained data could only be explained on the basis of two-band model, namely, high mobility conduction band and low mobility impurity band. The threshold doping concentration for the dominance of the conduction band electrons is estimated to be about 1018 cm–3.  相似文献

The angular dependence of the sputtering yield and the spatial distribution of particles ejecting from a boron nitride polycrystal with a wurtzite structure in the temperature range from 0 to 2800°C under bombardment with 300 eV xenon ions are calculated by the molecular dynamics method. A reduction of steepness of the curves of angular dependence of boron nitride sputtering with increasing temperature is revealed. Features of the obtained distributions are analyzed on the basis of mechanisms of interaction of slow heavy ions with surface target atoms.  相似文献

High-resolution TDPAC determination of EQI of181Ta in HfO2 is performed. Room temperature parameters of ωQ = 111 (1) MHz and η=0.36(1) are obtained. The temperature dependence of ωQ and η in the range 78–1100 K is established. An explanation of the observed phenomena in a dielectric lattice is discussed.  相似文献
