The interference peculiarities of absorption and emission of external laser field quanta by a spatially narrow electron wave
packet during its scattering at a potential center are considered. The angular and energy distributions for an electron due
to scattering in a laser field are obtained and analyzed within the framework of the perturbation theory based on interaction
with the potential center. A new mechanism of effective heating of plasma produced in a cluster under the effect of intense
external laser field is found. Drastic changes in angular distribution due to the interference of incident and scattered parts

We use an interferometic scheme to extract the phase distribution of the electron wave packet from above-threshold ionization in elliptically polarized laser fields. In this scheme, an electron wave packet released from a circularly polarized laser pulse acts as a reference wave and interferes with the electron wave packet ionized by a time-delayed counter-rotating elliptically polarized laser field. The generated vortex-shaped interference pattern in the photoelectron momentum distribution enables us to extract the phase distribution of the electron wave packet in the elliptically polarized laser pulse with high precision. By artificially screening the ionic potential at different ranges when solving the time-dependent Schördinger equation, we find that the angle-dependent phase distribution of the electron wave packet in the elliptically polarized laser field shows an obvious angular shift as compared to the strong-field approximation, whose value is the same as the attoclock shift. We also show that the amplitude of the angle-dependent phase distribution is sensitive to the ellipticity of the laser pulse, providing an alternative way to precisely calibrate the laser ellipticity in the attoclock measurement. 相似文献

研究了多光子非线性Compton散射中电子与光子的能量转换及其转换效率.结果表明:散射光子频率随电子吸收光子数n的增大而增大,随碰撞非弹性成分ξ的增大而迅速减小.在超强激光场中,当极端相对论性电子与光子发生多光子非线性Compton散射且被光场俘获时,能量转换效率趋于无限大,即电子可以从超强激光场中获得巨大的加速能量.用高速电子束入射并与光子发生多光子非线性Compton散射,是提高非线性Compton散射能量转换效率的重要途径. 相似文献

Sequences of phase-locked laser pulses have been employed to control the orbital angular momentum character of an electron wave packet, which is initially created from a superposition of s and d Rydberg series. By an intelligent choice of phase, which depends on the excitation energy and the quantum defects, we are able to selectively pump down either all or a fraction of one or other angular momentum component, and by employing multichannel quantum-defect theory we are able to analyze the quantum-state distribution in detail. 相似文献

We solve the time-dependent Schr?dinger equation in three dimensions for H+2 in a one-cycle laser pulse of moderate intensity. We consider fixed nuclear positions and Coulomb electron-nuclear interaction potentials. We analyze the field-induced electron interference and diffraction patterns. To extract the ionization dynamics we subtract the excitations to low-lying bound states explicitly. We follow the time evolution of a well-defined wave packet that is formed near the first peak of the laser field. We observe the fragmentation of the wave packet due to molecular focusing. We show how to retrieve a diffraction molecular image by taking the ratio of the momentum distributions in the two lateral directions. The positions of the diffraction peaks are well described by the classical double slit diffraction rule. 相似文献

In this paper, control of the evolution of a two electron wave packet through the application of a static electric field is demonstrated. Specifically, application of a small electric field is used to produce pulsed autoionization events, the timing of which can be controlled on a picosecond time scale. The technique is demonstrated by exciting calcium atoms using a short-pulsed laser to the 4p(3/2)19d doubly excited state, which is energy degenerate with the 4p(1/2)nk stark states. Evolution of the resultant wave packet is monitored through the application of a second short laser pulse, which stimulates the atoms to emit a photon producing singly excited Rydberg states which are detected using field ionization. 相似文献

Using rigorous kinetic treatment the steady state self-focusing of laser beams in a degenerate nonparabolic semiconductor (e.g. n-InSb) has been investigated beyond the perturbation limit. The nonlinearity arises due to the energy dependence of the electron mass in the conduction band. The energy loss of electron energy is assumed to be due to polar optical phonons and momentum transfer due to ionised impurity scattering/polar optical phonon scattering. It is found that nonlinearity in the dielectric constant or the self-focusing is more pronounced in the case of ionised impurity case as compared to polar optical phonon case. The effect of absorption is to suppress the self-focusing but the latter is also enhanced by degeneracy. 相似文献

The dynamics of a relativistic electron submitted to an intense, plane wave, linearly polarized laser field is reviewed. Based on the dynamics, the temperature of the electron in the laser field is delined and calculated. It is found that the calculated temperature fits the first temperature observed in the experiment by Malka et al. A model to evaluate the electron temperature by taking the electron-ion scattering into account is proposed. It is found that when I ≥ 4.0 × 101s W/cm2 the electron temperature by considering the scattering, T hs, is evidently larger than the electron temperature without considering the scattering, Th. This result is in favor of explaining the two-temperature distribution of the electron energy observed in the experiment by Malka et al. 相似文献

Intense, nonresonant laser fields produce Stark shifts that strongly modify the potential energy surfaces of a molecule. A vibrational wave packet can be guided by this Stark shift if the laser field is appropriately modulated during the wave packet motion. We modulated a 70 fs laser pulse with a period on the time scale of the vibrational motion (approximately 10 fs) by mixing the signal and idler of an optical parametric amplifier. We used ionization of H2 or D2 to launch a vibrational wave packet on the ground state of H2(+) or D2(+). If the laser intensity was high as the wave packet reached its outer turning point, the Stark shift allowed the molecule to dissociate through bond softening. On the other hand, if the field was small at this critical time, little dissociation was measured. By changing the modulation period, we achieved control of the dissociation yield with a contrast of 90%. 相似文献

应用多光子非线性Compton散射模型,研究了多光子非线性Compton散射对激光等离子体中电子运动的影响,提出了将入射激光和Compton散射光形成的耦合光、耦合光与等离子体产生的自生磁场形成的混合场作为加速电子的新机制,对电子动量和能量方程进行了修正和数值模拟。结果表明,当混合场的电场振幅与磁场振幅相等时,回旋共振电子在与混合场作用时间内能被加速到很高的能量;电子加速能量随耦合光幅值的增大而增大,随电子耦合初始角度的增大而周期变小,随电子横向耦合归一化初始速度的增大,开始时较快增加,之后缓慢增加,最后趋于稳定。 相似文献

We demonstrate a quantum stroboscope based on a sequence of identical attosecond pulses that are used to release electrons into a strong infrared (IR) laser field exactly once per laser cycle. The resulting electron momentum distributions are recorded as a function of time delay between the IR laser and the attosecond pulse train using a velocity map imaging spectrometer. Because our train of attosecond pulses creates a train of identical electron wave packets, a single ionization event can be studied stroboscopically. This technique has enabled us to image the coherent electron scattering that takes place when the IR field is sufficiently strong to reverse the initial direction of the electron motion causing it to rescatter from its parent ion. 相似文献

The multiphoton Compton scattering in a high-intensity laser beam is studied by using the laser-dressed quantum electrodynamics(QED) method, which is a non-perturbative theory for the interaction between a plane electromagnetic field and a charged particle. In order to analyze in the real experimental condition, a Lorentz transformation for the cross section of this process is derived between the laboratory frame and the initial rest frame of electrons. The energy of the scattered photon is analyzed, as well as the cross sections for different laser intensities and polarizations and different electron velocities. The angular distribution of the emitted photon is investigated in a special velocity of the electron, in which for a fixed number of absorbed photons, the electron energy will not change after the scattering in the lab frame.We obtain the conclusion that higher laser intensities suppress few-laser-photon absorption and enhance more-laser-photon absorption. A comparison between different polarizations is also made, and we find that the linearly polarized laser is more suitable to generate nonlinear Compton scattering. 相似文献

In the presence of a normally incident mid-IR pulsed laser field, phonon-assisted photon absorption by both intrasubband and intersubband phonon scattering of conduction electrons in GaAs/AlGaAs quantum wells are predicted. The novel non-resonant and non-linear intersubband absorption is found by including the photon-induced phonon scattering process in a Boltzmann equation for phonon energies smaller than the energy separation between two electron subbands in the quantum well. The predicted phonon-assisted photon absorption by intersubband transitions of electrons from the first to the second subband is a unique feature in quantum-well systems and is expected to have a significant effect on the electron populations in both subbands. 相似文献

本文利用强场近似理论研究了氢负离子在少周期激光场中的解离过程. 在计算中采用了数值积分和鞍点近似两种计算方法并得到了一致的结果. 更为重要的是, 利用鞍点法对激光脉冲中不同时刻解离产生的电子波包之间的干涉效应进行了研究, 发现光电子动量谱的主要结构是电子波包间的周期间干涉和周期内干涉共同作用的结果, 并分析了周期内和周期间干涉效应对光电子能量谱的影响. 最后, 讨论了激光脉宽对周期内和周期间干涉效应的影响. 本文的工作对进一步了解负离子光解离过程中的量子干涉效应和利用光场对其进行调控方面的研究具有意义. 相似文献

Linear Thomson scattering by a relativistic electron of a short pulse laser has been investigated by computer simulation. Under a laser field with a pulse of 33.3-fs full-width at half-maximum, and the initial energy of an electron of γ0=10, the motion of the electron is relativistic and generates an ultrashort radiation of 76-as with a photon wave length of 2.5-nm in the backward scattering. The radiation under a high relativistic energy electron has better characteristic than under a low relativistic energy electron in terms of the pulse width and the angular distribution. 相似文献

We demonstrate that the recolliding electron wave packet, fundamental to many strong field phenomena, can be directly imaged with sub-A spatial and attosecond temporal resolution using attosecond extreme ultraviolet (XUV) pulses. When the recolliding electron revisits the parent ion, it can absorb an XUV photon yielding high energy electron and thereby providing a measurement of the electron energy at the moment of recollision. The full temporal evolution of the recollision wave packet can be reconstructed by measuring the photoelectron spectra for different time delays between the driving laser and the attosecond XUV probe. The strength of the photoelectron signal can be used to characterize the spatial distribution of the electron density in the longitudinal direction. Elliptical polarization can be used to characterize the electron probability in transversal direction. 相似文献
