Let A 1: = 𝕜[t, ?] be the first algebra over a field 𝕜 of characteristic zero. Let Aut𝕜(A 1) be the automorphism group of the ring A 1. One can associate to each right ideal I of A 1 a subgroup of Aut𝕜(A 1) called the isomorphism subgroup of I. In this article, we show that each such isomorphism subgroup is equal to its normalizer. For that, we study when the isomorphism subgroup of a right ideal of A 1 contains a given isomorphism subgroup. 相似文献

We present solutions to isomorphism problems for various generalized Weyl algebras, including deformations of type-A Kleinian singularities and the algebras similar to introduced by S. P. Smith. For the former, we generalize results of Dixmier on the first Weyl algebra and the minimal primitive factors of by finding sets of generators for the group of automorphisms.

Let Un(Fq) denote the group of unipotent n×n upper triangular matrices over a finite field with q elements. We show that the Heisenberg characters of Un+1(Fq) are indexed by lattice paths from the origin to the line x+y=n using the steps (1,0), (1,1), (0,1), (0,2), which are labeled in a certain way by nonzero elements of Fq. In particular, we prove for n?1 that the number of Heisenberg characters of Un+1(Fq) is a polynomial in q−1 with nonnegative integer coefficients and degree n, whose leading coefficient is the nth Fibonacci number. Similarly, we find that the number of Heisenberg supercharacters of Un(Fq) is a polynomial in q−1 whose coefficients are Delannoy numbers and whose values give a q-analogue for the Pell numbers. By counting the fixed points of the action of a certain group of linear characters, we prove that the numbers of supercharacters, irreducible supercharacters, Heisenberg supercharacters, and Heisenberg characters of the subgroup of Un(Fq) consisting of matrices whose superdiagonal entries sum to zero are likewise all polynomials in q−1 with nonnegative integer coefficients. 相似文献

AbstractIn this article, we give a generalization of O’Halloran’s theorem that gives rise to families of Weyl modules with simple radicals. This generalization is then applied to simply connected, semisimple algebraic groups of types B, C, and D. We calculate moments of the so-called Kesten distribution by means of the expansion of the denominator of the density of this distribution and then integrate all summands with respect to the semicircle distribution. By comparing this expression with the formulae for the moments of Kesten's distribution obtained by other means, we find identities involving polynomials whose power coefficients are closely related to Catalan numbers, Catalan triangles, binomial coefficients. We obtain estimates for the counting function of the Neumann Laplacian on a planar domain bounded by the graph of a lower semicontinuous L1-function. The classical Cayley map, , is a birational isomorphism between the special orthogonal group SO and its Lie algebra , which is SO-equivariant with respect to the conjugating and adjoint actions, respectively. We ask whether or not maps with these properties can be constructed for other algebraic groups. We show that the answer is usually ``no", with a few exceptions. In particular, we show that a Cayley map for the group SL exists if and only if , answering an old question of LUNA.
