Role of the Λ(1600) is studied in the ${K}^{-}p\to {\rm{\Lambda }}{\pi }^{0}{\pi }^{0}$ reaction by using the effective Lagrangian approach near the threshold. We perform a calculation for the total and differential cross sections by considering the contributions from the Λ(1600) and Λ(1670) intermediate resonances decaying into ${\pi }^{0}{{\rm{\Sigma }}}^{* 0}(1385)$ with ${{\rm{\Sigma }}}^{* 0}(1385)$ decaying into ${\pi }^{0}{\rm{\Lambda }}$. Additionally, the non-resonance process from u-channel nucleon pole is also taken into account. With our model parameters, the current experimental data on the total cross sections of the ${K}^{-}p\to {\rm{\Lambda }}{\pi }^{0}{\pi }^{0}$ reaction can be well reproduced. It is shown that we really need the contribution from the Λ(1600) with spin-parity ${J}^{P}=1/{2}^{+}$, and that these measurements can be used to determine some of the properties of the Λ(1600) resonance. Furthermore, we also plot the π0Λ invariant mass distributions which could be tested by the future experimental measurements.  相似文献

传统的应用稳定性理论对横流不稳定性转捩现象的预测很难与现代CFD并行化计算结合, 为了解决这个问题, 文章基于SA-γ-${\overline {Re} _{\theta {\rm{t}}}}$转捩模型, 使用不可压三维边界层相似性解实现横流位移损失厚度Reynolds数在流场中的当地化求解, 结合亚音速试验数据-C1准则构建横流不稳定性转捩判据, 从而实现了横流不稳定性转捩预测方法的当地化并行求解.首先采用SA-γ-${\overline {Re} _{\theta {\rm{t}}}}$转捩模型对NLF(1)-0416翼型进行了流向转捩预测, 证实了该模型的正确性.然后应用所建立的横流转捩模型对45°前缘后掠角的NLF(2)-0415无限展长机翼和DLR-F5机翼, 以及标准6:1椭球标模进行了横流不稳定转捩数值模拟, 计算结果显示转捩位置均与试验数据吻合较好, 证明了文章所建立的方法在不可压边界层转捩预测具有较高的预测精度.   相似文献

We use QCD sum rules to compute the matrix elements of the ΔB=2 operators appearing in the heavy-quark expansion of the width difference of the B s mass eigenstates. The main focus of our analysis is on the subleading operators R 2 and R 3, which appear at next-to-leading order in the 1/m b expansion. The matrix elements of these operators are already essential for precise phenomenology, but their calculation in lattice QCD is lacking and the values given here provide a first estimate of their values. We conclude that the violation of the factorization approximation for these matrix elements due to non-perturbative vacuum condensates is as low as 1–2%.  相似文献

The large forward?Cbackward asymmetry in top pair-production observed at the Tevatron has generated much excitement in recent times. Many different models have been proposed as possible explanations for this anomaly. We discuss how the measurement of the polarization of the top quark can be used to establish the role of new physics in generating the observed asymmetry and to characterize and discriminate among various models.  相似文献

Based on the generalized hidden local symmetry as the chiral model of pseudoscalar, vector, and axial vector mesons, the excitation curve of the reaction e + e - $ \pi^{+}_{}$ $ \pi^{-}_{}$ $ \pi^{+}_{}$ $ \pi^{-}_{}$ is calculated for energies in the interval 0.65 ? $ \sqrt{{s}}$ ? 1 GeV. The theoretical predictions are compared to available data of CMD-2 and BaBaR. It is shown that the inclusion of heavy isovector resonances ρ(1450) and ρ(1700) is necessary for reconciling calculations with the data. It is found that at $ \sqrt{{s}}$ ≈ 1 GeV the contributions of the above resonances are much larger, by a factor of 30, than the ρ(770) one, and amount to a considerable fraction ~ 0.3-0.6 of the latter at $ \sqrt{{s}}$ m ρ .  相似文献

The production of charged hadrons and mesons in the collisions of quasi-real photons has been measured using the OPAL detector at LEP. The data were taken at centre-of-mass energies of 161 and 172 GeV. The differential cross-sections as a function of the transverse momentum and the pseudorapidity of the charged hadrons and mesons have been compared to the leading order Monte Carlo simulations of PHOJET and PYTHIA and to perturbative next-to-leading order (NLO) QCD calculations. The distributions have been measured in the range GeV of the hadronic invariant mass W. By comparing the transverse momentum distribution of charged hadrons measured in interactions with -proton and meson-proton data we find evidence for hard photon interactions in addition to the purely hadronic photon interactions. We investigate the possibility of explaining the enhancement in semileptonic decays of \({\bar{B}} \rightarrow D^{(*)} \tau {\bar{\nu }}\), the anomalies induced by \(b\rightarrow s\mu ^+\mu ^-\) in \({\bar{B}}\rightarrow (K, K^*, \phi )\mu ^+\mu ^-\) and violation of lepton universality in \(R_K = \mathrm{Br}({\bar{B}}\rightarrow K \mu ^+\mu ^-)/\mathrm{Br}({\bar{B}}\rightarrow K e^+e^-)\) within the framework of R-parity violating MSSM. The exchange of down type right-handed squark coupled to quarks and leptons yields interactions which are similar to leptoquark induced interactions that have been proposed to explain the \({\bar{B}} \rightarrow D^{(*)} \tau {\bar{\nu }}\) by tree level interactions and \(b\rightarrow s \mu ^+\mu ^-\) anomalies by loop induced interactions, simultaneously. However, the Yukawa couplings in such theories have severe constraints from other rare processes in B and D decays. Although this interaction can provide a viable solution to the \(R(D^{(*)})\) anomaly, we show that with the severe constraint from \({\bar{B}} \rightarrow K \nu {\bar{\nu }}\), it is impossible to solve the anomalies in the \(b\rightarrow s \mu ^+\mu ^-\) process simultaneously.  相似文献

AMADEUS is an experiment planned to be performed at the DAΦNE e+e? collider of the Frascati National Laboratories (Italy) of INFN, to investigate the antikaon-nuclei interaction at low energies. AMADEUS will perform, for the first time, full-acceptance studies of antikaon interaction in light nuclei, including a complete experimental program for the case of the kaonic nuclear clusters. The study of the absorption of antikaon by the nucleus will provide information concerning the $\bar{K}N$ interaction and the modification of the kaon mass in the nuclear medium. The experiment is being preceded by the study of the hadronic interactions of K? in the 4He of the drift chamber from the KLOE experiment data.  相似文献

One of the main goals of the ATLAS experiment is to measure various Higgs boson couplings as accurately as possible. Such a measurement is mandatory for a full understanding of the Higgs sector. One of the most challenging measurements of the Higgs boson properties is the determination of the Yukawa coupling to the top quark. To complement the $t\bar {t}H\rightarrow t\bar {t}\ensuremath {\mathit {b}\bar {\mathit {b}}}$ channel, which is the most significant in the low Higgs mass region (m H ~120 GeV), we introduce a feasibility study of the $t\bar {t}H$ channel with the Higgs decaying to a pair of τ leptons. The signal events were reconstructed using the full and the fast simulation of the ATLAS detector. It is shown that both the distributions and the number of expected events after the same cuts agree, and that we can use the fast simulation to complete the analysis. We obtain a significance of 1.6σ for the low luminosity condition (30 fb?1) and m H =120 GeV, and 2.0σ for the high luminosity condition (300 fb?1) and m H =120 GeV. The observability of Higgs boson in this channel is demonstrated to be very marginal, even in the absence of taking into account $t\bar {t}+\mathrm{jets}$ .  相似文献

The CUORICINO ββ-decay detector is an array of 62 TeO2 bolometers; 44 are 5×5×5-cm crystals made with natural tellurium (33.8% 130Te). There are 18, 3×3×6-cm crystals, 14 of which are made of natural tellurium, 2 are isotopically enriched to 75% in 130Te, and 2 are enriched to 82.3% in 128Te. The total mass of 130Te is ~ 11 kg. The background rate is 0.23 ± 0.04 counts/keV/kg/yr in the energy interval 2480 to 2600 keV. During the cooling process, some of the wires became disconnected and only 32 of the large and 16 of the smaller crystals could be read out. The data presented here come from 29 of the 5×5×5-cm crystals containing 6.2 kg of 130Te. The new limit on the half-life is $T_{{1 \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {1 2}} \right. \kern-0em} 2}}^{0\nu } \geqslant 5 \times 10^{23} yr$ , corresponding to an effective Majorana mass of the electron neutrino 〈m ν〉 between 0.42 and 2.05 eV, depending on the nuclear model used to analyze the data.  相似文献

We calculate the amplitude of $gg\to b\bar{b}$ production for the colour singlet, J z =0, di-gluon state at $\mathcal{O}(\alpha_{\mathrm{S}}^{2})$ order. We consider the cancellation and a realistic cut-off, of the infrared divergent terms. We show that the one-loop radiative QCD contributions effectively reduce the Born level result for the central exclusive $b\bar{b}$ cross section at the LHC. This process is essentially the only irreducible QCD background to the exclusive $H\to b\bar{b}$ signal.  相似文献

We investigate the decays of \(\bar{B}^0_s\), \(\bar{B}^0\) and \(B^-\) into \(\eta _c\) plus a scalar or vector meson in a theoretical framework by taking into account the dominant process for the weak decay of \(\bar{B}\) meson into \(\eta _c\) and a \(q\bar{q}\) pair. After hadronization of this \(q\bar{q}\) component into pairs of pseudoscalar mesons we obtain certain weights for the pseudoscalar meson-pseudoscalar meson components. In addition, the \(\bar{B}^0\) and \(\bar{B}^0_s\) decays into \(\eta _c\) and \(\rho ^0\), \(K^*\) are evaluated and compared to the \(\eta _c\) and \(\phi \) production. The calculation is based on the postulation that the scalar mesons \(f_0(500)\), \(f_0(980)\) and \(a_0(980)\) are dynamically generated states from the pseudoscalar meson-pseudoscalar meson interactions in S-wave. Up to a global normalization factor, the \(\pi \pi \), \(K \bar{K}\) and \(\pi \eta \) invariant mass distributions for the decays of \(\bar{B}^0_s \rightarrow \eta _c \pi ^+ \pi ^-\), \(\bar{B}^0_s \rightarrow \eta _c K^+ K^-\), \(\bar{B}^0 \rightarrow \eta _c \pi ^+ \pi ^-\), \(\bar{B}^0 \rightarrow \eta _c K^+ K^-\), \(\bar{B}^0 \rightarrow \eta _c \pi ^0 \eta \), \(B^- \rightarrow \eta _c K^0 K^-\) and \(B^- \rightarrow \eta _c \pi ^- \eta \) are predicted. Comparison is made with the limited experimental information available and other theoretical calcualtions. Further comparison of these results with coming LHCb measurements will be very valuable to make progress in our understanding of the nature of the low lying scalar mesons, \(f_0(500), f_0(980)\) and \(a_0(980)\).  相似文献

The spin density matrix of the \(\omega \) has been determined for the reaction \({\bar{p}p}\,\rightarrow \,\omega \pi ^0\) with unpolarized in-flight data measured by the Crystal Barrel LEAR experiment at CERN. The two main decay modes of the \(\omega \) into \(\pi ^0 \gamma \) and \(\pi ^+ \pi ^- \pi ^0\) have been separately analyzed for various \({\bar{p}}\)momenta between 600 and 1940 MeV/c. The results obtained with the usual method by extracting the matrix elements via the \(\omega \) decay angular distributions and with the more sophisticated method via a full partial wave analysis are in good agreement. A strong spin alignment of the \(\omega \) is clearly visible in this energy regime and all individual spin density matrix elements exhibit an oscillatory dependence on the production angle. In addition, the largest contributing orbital angular momentum of the \({\bar{p}p~}\)system has been identified for the different beam momenta. It increases from \(L^{max}_{{\bar{p}p~}}\) \(=\) 2 at 600 MeV/c to \(L^{max}_{{\bar{p}p~}}\) \(=\) 5 at 1940 MeV/c.  相似文献

Rare earth ions (Ce3+, Eu2+) activated Ca3MgSi2O8 (CMSO) phosphors have been synthesized using solid-state reaction method in 95%N2+5%H2 reduction atmosphere at elevated temperatures by varying Eu2+ concentration from 0.0075 to 0.0300 at the fixed Ce0.03 concentration to study their photoluminescence (PL) properties. An energy transfer occurs from Ce3+ to Eu2+ through a significant overlap of Eu2+ excitation spectrum with Ce3+ emission spectrum in CMSO, together with the systematic relative decrease and increase in emission bands of Ce3+ and Eu2+, respectively, have been observed. To support the phenomenon, diffuse reflectance spectra show various absorption levels corresponding to Ce3+, Eu2+, and/or mixture of both rare earth ions. An optimum emission was realized at 0.0150 of Eu2+ via. energy transfer from Ce3+ ion. By utilizing the principle of energy transfer, the critical distance (R c ) between activator ions was found to be 18.64 Å. The CIE chromaticity coordinates measured on the Ca3MgSi2O8:Ce3+, Eu2+ phosphors excited under ultraviolet (365 nm) source shows the values lie in cool white light region could be applied to solid state lighting.  相似文献

In the framework of relativistic mean field theory, the condensations of K- and \bar{K}0 in neutron star matter including baryon octet and Δ quartet are studied. We find that in this case K- and \bar{K}0 condensations canoccur at relative shallow optical potential depth of \bar{K} from -80 MeV to -160 MeV. Both K- and \bar{K}0 condensations favor the appearances of Δ resonances. With \bar{K} condensations all the Δ quartet can appear well inside the maximum mass stars. The appearances of Δ resonances change the composition and distribution of particles at high densities. The populations ofΔ resonances can enhance K- condensation. It is found that in the core of massive neutron stars, neutron star matter includes rich particle species, such as antikaons, baryon octet, and Δ quartet. In the presence of Δ resonances and \bar{K} condensation, the EOS becomes softer and results in smaller maximum mass stars. Furthermore the impact of antikaon condensations,hyperons, and Δ resonances on direct Urca process with nucleons is also discussed briefly.  相似文献
