We give a simple proof for the rotational symmetry of ancient solutions of Ricci flow on surfaces. As a consequence we obtain a simple proof of some results of Daskalopoulos, Hamilton and Sesum on the a priori estimates for the ancient solutions of Ricci flow on surfaces. We also give a simple proof for the solution to be a Rosenau solution under some mild conditions on the solutions of Ricci flow on surfaces.  相似文献

The contribution presents several results achieved by central and upwind type schemes for some internal and external flow problems in 2D and 3D. Results of transonic flow through cascade shows the behavior of methods and influence of different implementation of boundary conditions. Numerical solution of 2D external flow problems based on inviscid flow ‐ boundary layer interaction method has been used for wind tunnel wall correction. Presented results show improvement of correction method in region of transonic flow.  相似文献

从动力系统的角度研究微分代数系统,利用单调流理论中的结果和方法讨论微分代数系统渐近性态.首先,我们把所考察的系统嵌入到一族相关的系统,引进使得系统族中的每个系统生成单调流的相应偏序和条件.然后给出了若干关于解收敛于平衡点的一般性结果,并对一类微分代数系统的渐近性作了较为精细的讨论.我们的结果是Hirch等关于常微分方程的相关结果的推广和改进.  相似文献

The linear stability to axisymmetric perturbations of compressible non-dissipative swirling flow is shown to be insured if a suitably defined “Richardson number” depending on the basic velocity, temperature and density fields everywhere exceeds 1/4. This result combines and generalizes in a natural way some known results for incompressible swirling flow and stratified parallel flow.  相似文献

Abstract. In this paper, we prove some compactness theorems and collapse phenomenon on compact K?hler surfaces with stable tangent bundle. We then apply the results to the Calabi flow. More precisely, we prove, under suitable curvature conditions, the longtime existence and asymptotic convergence for solutions of the Calabi flow on compact K?hler surfaces admitting no nonzero holomorphic tangent vector fields and with stable tangent bundle. We study the isothermal flow of a dusty viscous incompressible conducting fluid between two types of boundary motions-oscillatory and non-oscillatory, under the influence of gravitational force. Within the frame work of some physically realistic approximations and suitable boundary conditions, closed form solutions were obtained for the velocity profiles and the skin friction of the particulate flow. These results show that for a constant pressure gradient, only the velocity profile of the fluid and the skin friction are unaffected by gravity, while magnetic field is seen to affect both the fluid, particle velocities and the skin friction. Thus, our results are extension of previous results in literature, and graphical demonstration of some these solutions have been presented.  相似文献

In this paper,a class of new geometric flows on a complete Riemannian manifold is defined. The new flow is related to the generalized(third order) Landau-Lifshitz equation. On the other hand it could be thought of as a special case of the Schr¨odinger-Airy flow when the target manifold is a K¨ahler manifold with constant holomorphic sectional curvature. We show the local existence of the new flow on a complete Riemannian manifold with some assumptions on Ricci tensor. Moreover,if the target manifolds are Einstein or some certain type of locally symmetric spaces,the global results are obtained.  相似文献

The problem of hydrodynamic instability of a thin condensate viscoelastic liquid film flowing down on the outer surface of an axially moving vertical cylinder is investigated. In order to improve the accuracy of numerical results, the viscoelastic and heat transfer parameters have been included into the governing equations. Also, the analytical solutions are obtained by utilizing the long-wave perturbation method. The influence of some physical parameters is discussed in both linear and nonlinear steps of the problem. It has been revealed that the stability of the film flow is weakened when the radius of cylinder and the temperature difference are reduced. Moreover, it is found that the increment of down-moving motion of the cylinder can enhance the flow stability. Further, the thin film flow can be destabilized by the viscoelastic property. The results show that both supercritical stability and subcritical instability can take place within the film flow system given appropriate conditions. Moreover, the absence of Reynolds number leads to an obvious difference in the behavior of some physical parameters.  相似文献

We prove that, in a two‐dimensional strip, a steady flow of an ideal incompressible fluid with no stationary point and tangential boundary conditions is a shear flow. The same conclusion holds for a bounded steady flow in a half‐plane. The proofs are based on the study of the geometric properties of the streamlines of the flow and on one‐dimensional symmetry results for solutions of some semilinear elliptic equations. We consider offline algorithms for minimizing the total flow time on O(1) machines where jobs can be preempted arbitrarily but migrations are disallowed. 过去对复杂流动的三维数值模拟往往要采用许多简化处理方法,使得数值模型的适用性受到很大限制,所得结果也不能全面反应流场的特征.本文用有限容积法直接求解三维椭圆型流动控制方程,紊流模型采用有浮力修正的κ-ε模型.本文首先将该模型用于有横流情况下岸边等密度排放问题,以检验本数值模型和计算程序的正确性,所得结果正确预报了排放口下游的回流区,与文献[7]的计算和实验结果一致.然后进一步将其应用于有横流情况下的温排水、取水问题,所得结果合理,并精细地揭示了流场的内部特征.  相似文献
