We propose a self-consistent practical method to study collective excitations in rotating nuclei within the cranking + random phase approximation approach. It consists in solving the cranking Hartree-Bogolyubov equations for the modified Nilsson potential + monopole pairing forces. Further, the mean field results are used to construct collective vibrations treated in the random phase approximation (RPA). Special attention is paid to fulfill all conservation laws in the RPA to separate spurious and physical solutions. We demonstrate that the backbending in 156Dy can be explained as a result of the disappearance of collective γ vibrations of the positive signature in the rotating frame.  相似文献

A possibility that the 0+ state with the energy of 681.3 keV exists in the 160Dy nucleus is discussed. Calculations based on the interacting vector boson model show that in addition to the known 0+ states with the number of bosons n = 2, 5, 6, and 7 there should exist other states with the number of bosons n = 1, 3, 4, and 8 in 160Dy. It is shown that the peak at the energy 681.3 keV, which we experimentally observed in the 160Dy internal conversion electron spectrum, can be ascribed to the 0+ state with the number of bosons n = 1 or n = 8.  相似文献

In this work, the effect of spin-quadrupole forces on the 0+ sates in 158Gd has been investigated. For this purpose, the model Hamiltonian including monopole pairing, quadrupole-quadrupole and spin-quadrupole forces has been diagonalized in one phonon basis. In conclusion, for the distribution of energies of the states and their collective properties, fairly good results have been obtained.  相似文献

The spectra of neutrons from the (p, n) reactions on 47Ti, 48Ti, 49Ti, 53Cr, and 54Cr nuclei were measured in the proton-energy range 7–11 MeV. The measurements were performed with the aid of a fast-neutron spectrometer by the time-of-flight method over the base of the EGP-15 tandem accelerator of the Institute for Physics and Power Engineering (IPPE, Obninsk). Owing to a high resolution and a high stability of the time-of-flight spectrometer used, low-lying discrete levels could be identified reliably along with a continuum section of neutron spectra. An analysis of measured data was performed within the statistical equilibrium and preequilibrium models of nuclear reactions. The relevant calculations were performed by using the exact formalism of Hauser-Feshbach statistical theory supplemented with the generalized model of a superfluid nucleus, the back-shifted Fermi gas model, and the Gilbert-Cameron composite formula for the nuclear level density. The nuclear level densities for 47V, 48V, 49V, 53Mn, and 54Mn were determined along with their energy dependences and model parameters. The results are discussed together with available experimental data and recommendations of model systematics.  相似文献

The configuration-dependent cranked Nilsson-Strutinsky approach has been employed to study the properties and band structures at high spin in the Z = N odd-odd nuclei 46V and 50Mn. The observed bands are explained and terminating states are confirmed by the calculations. The calculated and observed bands are in good agreement without normalization, especially for terminating states. Possible bands with rotation around the intermediate axis and the effect of γ-deformation on the total energy of several interesting configurations are discussed. The change in the neutron single-particle structure of (1f?2p)-shell magic nuclei near the Fermi energy with an increase in the number of protons in the 1f 7/2 subshell from 0 for 48Ca to 8 for 56Ni has been investigated. Good agreement of the experimental and estimated values of the single-particle energies E nlj of the bound states of neutrons in these nuclei with the results of calculations within the dispersive optical model is obtained.  相似文献

Experimental cross sections of formation of isotopes 46Sc (in reaction 6He + 45Sc), 196,198Au (in reaction 6He + 197Au), and 65Zn (in reaction 6He + 64Zn) are analyzed. The time-dependent Schrödinger equation for the outer neutrons of 6He and 197Au nuclei is solved numerically to calculate the probability of neutron transfer and transfer cross sections. In reaction 6He + 197Au, the contribution of fusion and subsequent evaporation to experimental data can be neglected, while the corresponding contributions to reactions 6He + 45Sc and 6He + 64Zn are considerable. Fusion–evaporation is taken into account using the computational code of the NRV knowledge base. The results of calculations are in satisfactory agreement with the experimental data.  相似文献

The high-spin level structure of the 153Er nucleus has been reinvestigated by in-beam γ-ray and electron spectroscopy with (14N,pxn) reaction. Excitation energies, spin and parity assignments are unambiguously established for the two lowest isomers T 1/2≃ 380 ns and T1/2\simeq 10 ns. The characteristics of the third one (T 1/2≃ 250 ns) at 5.2 MeV are still questionable but its main decay modes are better known. An extension of the level scheme is proposed up to 8.4 MeV.Experimental results have been discussed in terms of shell model multiplets and compared with the other structures observed in N=85 neighbouring nuclei. The two-neutrino double-beta decay of 124, 126Xe , 128, 130Te , 130, 132Ba and 150Nd isotopes is studied in the Projected Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov (PHFB) model. Theoretical 2ν β-β- half-lives of 128, 130Te , and 150Nd isotopes, and 2ν β+β+ , 2ν β+ EC and 2ν ECEC for 124, 126Xe and 130, 132Ba nuclei are presented. Calculated quadrupolar transition probabilities B(E2 : 0+ → 2+) , static quadrupole moments and g -factors in the parent and daughter nuclei reproduce the experimental information, validating the reliability of the model wave functions. The anticorrelation between nuclear deformation and the nuclear transition matrix element M is confirmed.  相似文献

The microscopic mechanism of four experimentally observed bands in 172Tm is investigated using the particle-number conserving method of the cranked shell model with monopole and quadrupole paring interactions. The experimental results, including the moments of inertia and angular momentum alignments of four bands in 172Tm are reproduced well by the particle-number conserving calculations. The ω variation of the occupation probability of each cranked orbital and the contribution to moment of inertia from each c...  相似文献

Charge distribution studies for heavy-mass fission products were carried out in the fast-neutron-induced fission of 232Th, 238U, 240Pu and 244Cm using radiochemical and gamma-ray spectrometric techniques. The width parameter( σZA), the most probable charge/mass ( Z P/A P), the charge polarization (ΔZ) and the slope of charge polarization [ δ(ΔZ)/δA ] as a function of the fragment mass (A ) were deduced. The average charge dispersion parameter ( 〈σZ〉) and proton odd-even effect ( δp) were also obtained for these fissioning systems. The 〈σZ〉 and δp values in the fissioning systems 241Pu * and 245Cm * were determined for the first time. The δ(ΔZ)/δA value is also determined for the first time in the fissioning systems 239U * , 241Pu * and 245Cm * . These data along with the literature data for even-Z fissioning systems such as 230Th * , 232Th * , 233U * , 234U * , 236U * , 238U * , 239Pu * , 240Pu*, 242Pu * , 246Cm * , 250Cf * and 252Cf(SF) are discussed in terms of nuclear structure effect and dynamics of descent from the saddle to the scission point. The role of the excitation energy in low-energy fission is also discussed. We have compared the halo of 11Be, 15C, and 19C nuclei by analyzing the one-neutron stripping reaction data on the Be target at 60-, 54-, and 57-MeV/A beam energies, respectively, within the framework of the eikonal approximation approach. The determination of effective range through the comparison of the total cross section data and prediction has revealed that the halo of 19C is the well developed, while that of 15C is the least and that of 11Be lies in between these two. The longitudinal momentum distribution data also strengthen these observations. The text was submitted by the authors in English.  相似文献

The results obtained by estimating the contribution of 8Be and 9B nuclei to the coherent dissociation of 10C, 10B, and 12C relativistic nuclei in nuclear track emulsions (“white” stars) are presented. The selection of white stars accompanied by 9B leads to a distinct peak appearing in the distribution of the excitation energy of 2α2p ensembles and having a maximum at 4.1 ± 0.3 MeV. A 8Be nucleus manifests itself in the coherent-dissociation reaction 10B → 2He + H with a probability of (25 ± 5)%, (14 ± 3)% of it being due to 9B decays. The ratio of the branching fractions of the 9B + n and 9Be + p mirror channels is estimated at 6 ± 1. An analysis of the relativistic dissociation of 12C nuclei in a nuclear track emulsion revealed nine 3α events corresponding to the Hoyle state.  相似文献

The excitation functions for both the evaporation residue and fission have been calculated for 10B + 209Bi and 11B + 209Bi reactions forming compound systems 219, 220Ra* , using the dynamical cluster-decay model (DCM) with effects of deformations and orientations of the nuclei included in it. In addition to this, the excitation functions for complete fusion (CF) are obtained by summing the fission cross-sections, neutron evaporation and charged particle evaporation residue cross-sections produced through the axn\ensuremath \alpha xn and pxn\ensuremath pxn (x = 2, 3, 4) emission channels for the 219Ra system at various incident centre-of-mass energies. Experimentally the CF cross-sections are suppressed and the observed suppression is attributed to the low binding energy of 10, 11B which breaks up into charged fragments. The reported complete fusion (CF) and incomplete fusion (ICF) excitation functions for the 219Ra system are found to be nicely fitted by the calculations performed in the framework of DCM, without invoking a significant contribution from quasi-fission. Although DCM has been applied for a number of compound nucleus decay studies in the recent past, the same is being used here in reference to ICF and subsequent decay processes along with the CF process. Interestingly the main contribution to complete fusion cross-section comes from the fission cross-section at higher incident energies, which in DCM is found to consist of an asymmetric fission window, shown to arise due to the deformation and orientation effects of formation and decay fragments.  相似文献

Doppler shift attenuation was used to measure the lifetimes of 48Ti, 52Cr and 80Se nuclei excited states populated in the (n, n′γ) reaction using the neutron beam of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s WWR-K research reactor. The measured data are in good agreement with the latest literature data.  相似文献

Nuclear spin dynamics of the 129Xe and 131Xe isotopes in an external magnetic field B 0 is considered. Nuclear spin is pumped by the laser through 87Rb, which transfers the electron spin to the 129Xe and 131Xe nuclei in the spin-exchange interaction. The nuclear spin dynamics is controlled with a transverse magnetic field that causes nuclear magnetic resonance in both 129Xe and 131Xe isotopes. Numerical calculations are performed to find conditions at which the transverse component of the nuclear spin in the established motion is of maximum and the slope angle relative to the vector of the constant magnetic field B 0 is 45°. This regime is taken to be optimal for simulation of practical applications. It is also found that the pump of the nuclear spin of xenon is strongly attenuated when the rubidium polarization vector is turned to the plane perpendicular to the external magnetic field vector B 0.  相似文献
