采用溶胶-凝胶法在氧化镁单晶衬底上制备了符合化学计量比的完全填充型铁电钾钠铌酸锶钡(KNSBN)薄膜,通过X射线衍射,摇摆曲线,X射线Φ扫描,扫描电子显微镜等方法研究了薄膜的微结构,采用Adachi法研究了薄膜的电光特性. 实验发现,KNSBN薄膜在氧化镁(001)单晶衬底上沿c轴外延生长,K+,Na+的引入有效地提高了薄膜的横向电光系数r51. 成分为K0.2Na0.2Sr0.24Ba0.56Nb2O6, K0.2Na0.2Sr0.6Ba0.2Nb2O6, K0.2Na0.2Sr0.72Ba0.08Nb2O6的三种KNSBN薄膜的r51值分别为108.52pm/V, 119.98pm/V, 126.96pm/V,r51的数值随Sr2+含量增加而增大. 关键词: 横向电光系数 钾钠铌酸锶钡 外延生长  相似文献

研究了多种Rh:BaTiO3和Ce:BaTiO3晶体样品的受激背向光折变散射自抽运相位共轭特性和响应时间特性.结果表明,入射光与晶体a面或b面法线的夹角较大时,自抽运相位共轭光有更高的反射率、更快响应时间.利用前向二波耦合特性和相向二波耦合特性对实验现象给予合理的解释.实验结果表明,多数Ce:BaTiO3晶体比Rh:BaTiO3晶体的共轭光反射率高. 关键词: 钛酸钡晶体 二波耦合 自抽运相位共轭 响应时间  相似文献

通过对KNbO3,LiNbO3,BaTiO3及几种半导体晶体的电光系数进行数值分析,发现电光系数在自由状态和受夹状态下对应的Miller-δ系数相同,与外加电场频率无关,进而提出用Miller-δ系数表征晶体非线性光学性质.在此基础上,提出一种全新的电光效应产生机制,认为电光效应源于非线性系统的自相似性,表现为对线性性质的一种“自我复制”,而Miller-δ系数是“自我复制”的比例因子. 关键词: 电光效应 非线性光学 自相似性  相似文献

从声子-电磁激元频率色散关系的普遍公式出发,推导出了单轴晶体的Merten方程和电磁激元的频率色散关系。测量了BaTiO3和Ce:BaTiO3晶体的简正模和斜声子的喇曼散射谱,并根据Merten方程,拟合出了斜声子的方向色散曲线;记录了A1类电磁激元在不同波矢值下的喇曼谱,观察到其频率色散现象.根据以上结果,对A1(TO)模喇曼谱中两个宽的非对称峰的归属和BaTiO3晶体的结构相变机制进行了讨论;计算出了这两种晶体的受夹介电常数;分析了掺Ce对BaTiO3晶体结构的影响。 关键词:  相似文献

以波长为632.8 nm的He-Ne激光作为光源,研究了三方相弛豫铁电单晶0.93Pb(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3-0.07PbTiO3在室温下的折射率和线性电光性质.通过测量晶体的布儒斯特角,确定了单晶的两个主轴折射率:no=2.466,ne=2.488.利用改进的马赫-泽德尔干涉法测量了单晶的线性电光系数:r33=71 pm/V,r13=4 pm/V.计算得到有效电光系数rc=67 pm/V及半波电压Vπ=610 V.单晶优异的电光性能使其在激光调制与偏转领域有着巨大的应用潜力.  相似文献

通过理论模拟对具有上覆盖层的SiO2脊形条波导结构进行了优化,在此基础上利用微电子工艺制作了SiO2脊形波导Mach-Zehnder型电光调制器,并进行热极化引起的电光和非线性效应的研究.热极化过程大幅增强了样品的电光及非线性效应,二次电光系数由热极化前的1.56×10-22(m/V)2提高到热极化后的8.50×10-22(m/V)2,极化后得到了0.093pm/V的线性电光系数,对热极化的物理机理进行了理论分析. 关键词: 电光调制器 2光波导')" href="#">SiO2光波导 电光效应 热极化  相似文献

从极性晶体晶格振动的理论出发 ,推导出正交系以上晶系的晶体的拉曼散射效率与晶体电光系数和二倍频系数的关系 :测量了 Ce∶ Ba TIO3 和 Ba Ti O3 晶体各纵、横模的偏振拉曼谱。在此基础上 ,计算出这两种晶体的电光系数γ3 3 、γ5 1 和二倍频系数 d3 3 、d1 5 。结果表明 :掺微量 Ce元素对 Ba Ti O3 晶体电光系数和二倍频系数影响不大  相似文献

系统地研究了掺铑的BaTiO3单晶在老化后的场致应变性能.研究发现,晶体的场 致应变随老化时间的增加而增大,在老化27天后,在300V/mm的电场下,其双向场致应变可达1.11%;在较小的测试频率下(0.01Hz)也可得到0.95%的可逆的巨大的单向场致应变,在低频范围内,晶体的单向场致应变随测试频率增大而减小;研究晶体老化后的电滞回线,发现其 形状类似于蜂腰磁滞回线.实验结果表明,对BaTiO3单晶掺杂铑元素可以大大改 善其电致伸缩性能,可能产生新的在超大应变及非线性驱动器中的应用. 关键词: 3单晶')" href="#">BaTiO3单晶 掺铑 场致应变 老化  相似文献

报道了用光纤马赫曾德尔干涉法测量极化聚合物电光系数的方法和原理。该方法不仅可以测量聚合物薄膜的电光系数而且可以测量聚合物波导的电光系数,并且该方法可以同时测量聚合物的电光系数张量元r13和r33。该方法最突出的优点是不必在聚合物薄膜的表面制备第二个电极,因此尤其适合于在电光聚合物试制阶段测试聚合物的电光系数。干涉仪的输出被反馈到参考臂中控制相位偏置点的压电陶瓷,从而实现对干涉仪相位偏置点的闭环控制,因此降低了对环境稳定性的要求并且提高了测量精度。实际测试了极化聚合物薄膜PMMA-DR1的电光系数张量,其测量值r13=8.3 pm/V,r33=25.7 pm/V。  相似文献

eff and the electro-optic coefficient r33 in Ce-doped and Rh-doped BaTiO3 were determined by two-beam coupling measurements. It was found that the effective trap density Neff of BaTiO3:Ce increases whereas that of BaTiO3:Rh decreases with increasing temperature. The electro-optic coefficient r33 of both crystals increases with temperature. The photorefractive response times were also measured and found to decrease with different rates as temperature increases in the two crystals. The results were discussed by using the two-centre model for BaTiO3:Ce and three-charge-state model for BaTiO3:Rh. We found that the different temperature dependence of Neff in the two crystals was due to the fact that the deep- and shallow-trap levels in BaTiO3:Ce are caused by different impurity centres whereas those in BaTiO3:Rh are caused by different charge states of the same impurity centre. 采用热极化技术对掺锗玻璃条形光波导进行极化,通过光纤连接 (单模) 的Mach Zehnder Interferometer 系统测量条形波导内诱导出的电光效应,系统地研究了大气环境下极化条件(极化温度、极化时间、极化电压)对电光效应的影响.结果表明:在最佳极化条件下(406℃、-2.4 kV、20 min),波导内的电光系数为rTM=0.059±0.001 pm/V, rTE=0.053±0.001 pm/V,且波导结构中存在一个较低的阈值极化电压(100 V)和阈值极化温度(80℃),此时在波导样品内仍能被激发出可观察的电光效应;实验还发现采用负极化诱导方式产生的电光系数较正极化提高15%左右.  相似文献

Accurate measurements of the composite electrooptic (EO) coefficients rc consisting of the EO coefficients r13, r33, and the piezoelectric constant d31 in undoped and MgO-doped LiNbO3 (LN) were made by extracting the fundamental and third harmonic components from photo-detection signals of the parallel Nicol optics including the LN crystal driven by minimal sinusoidal voltage. The analysis of relationship between multiple-reflection rays in the EO crystal and the accuracy of measurement indicates that anti-reflection films must be coated on the end faces of the crystal for highly accurate measurements. Measured values of rc of undoped and MgO-doped LN crystals at a wavelength of 632.8 nm were 19.8 ± 0.1 pm/V and 19.2 ± 0.1 pm/V, respectively.  相似文献

The first two can be measured by simple and classical methods, but the coexistence of optical activity, electrogyration, field-induced linear birefringence, and piezoelectric and photoelastic effects in photorefractive materials such as Bi12TiO20 complicate the measurement of the electro-optic coefficient. For normal incidence of linearly polarized light we derive analytic expressions for the polarization of light that has passed through the crystal. The ellipticity of the polarization is a function of the electric-field-induced linear birefringence and hence of the electro-optic coefficient of the crystal. Therefore measurement of the ellipticity as a function of an electric field externally applied to the crystal leads to an electro-optic coefficient r41 of 5.3±0.1 pm/V. The complete set of self-consistent parameters of nominally undoped LiNbO3 crystals of congruent composition that describe the electro-optic, piezoelectric, elasto-optic, elastic, and dielectric response has been determined by numerically evaluating available measurements. The parameters were determined at room temperature and consist of the low-frequency clamped dielectric constants εS ij, elastic stiffness constants at constant electric field CE ijkl, piezoelectric stress coefficients eijk, elasto-optic constants at constant electric field pE ijkl, and clamped electro-optic coefficients rS ijk. It is shown that the complete set is required for calculating the effective electro-optic coefficients and dielectric constants in photorefractive applications of LiNbO3. We report the dependence of the high and low-frequency values of the linear electro-optic (EO) coefficient rc=r33-(no/ne)3r13 of Sr0.6Ba0.4Nb2O6 (SBN:60) single crystal on the laser wavelength. The EO response has been carried out from dc to 150 MHz for four wavelengths ranging from 465 to 1321 nm. The clamped rS and unclamped rT coefficients have been determined and their dispersions as a function of wavelength have been established and discussed.  相似文献

Using c- and a-cut plates of strontium-barium-niobate doped with 0.66 mol.% cerium all nonzero components of the linear electrooptic tensor r13, r42, r33 including the sign are determined from angular dependence of the two-beam coupling coefficient Γ using transmission and reflection geometry of holographic recording. We found: r13=56 pm/V, r42=38 pm/V, and r33=333 pm/V. In addition we calculated the effective trap density Neff to be 2.2×1017 cm-3. Experimental measurements of linear electro-optical coefficients are reported for YAl3(BO3)4 (YAB) single crystals for the two principal tensor components xyz and yyy at the wavelength of a CW semiconducting GaAlAs laser emitting at 1040 nm. We have found the values of the Pockels coefficients to be equal to 0.21 ± 0.06 and 0.56 ± 0.08 pm/V for 123 and 222 Pockels components, respectively. Additional measurements performed for the thin-cut samples with the thickness varying within the 100–500 μm have confirmed the values of the corresponding parameters. We have eliminated a contribution of the piezooptical coefficients as well as for other disturbing factors. We have established that the crystals with a different number of defects do not show any differences, which indicate the principal role of the borate clusters on the observed effects. The temperature changes are very low (due to a low ionic contribution), and do not exceed 5–6%, which indicates the low contribution of the electron-phonon to the Pockels effect. Because the YAB crystals possess a very large photothermal damage (more than 15 GW/cm2) and are only slightly temperature dependent. Hence, they may be proposed as promising materials for high-power laser electro-optic modulators.  相似文献

The electro-optic coefficient, r33, of proton exchanged LiNbO3 waveguides has been measured in well-defined phases of the exchanged layer. Namely, in two low index-jump α-phases, i.e. unannealed soft-exchanged (SPE) and annealed (APE) guides, and in two high index-jump phases, i.e. β1 guides and, for comparison, ordinary proton exchanged (PE) guides (having a mixture of phases). The following values have been obtained (in pm/V): 22.1±0.6 for SPE; 20.9±0.7 for APE; 0.33±0.01 for β1; and 0.76±0.04 for PE. The low-frequency unclamped electro-optic coefficients of proustite have been measured at an optical wavelength of 0.6328m. The results show thatr 22 is comparable to that of lithium niobate,r 13 andr 33 are considerably lower. The maximum theoretical value is calculated at 10.8×10–12 m/V about three times the largest measured coefficient value.  相似文献
