Three new C-20 diterpene alkaloids (talassamine (I), talassimidine (II), and talassimine (III)) and the known alkaloid lappaconitine have been isolated from the epigeal part ofAconitum talassicum (Ranunculaceae). The epigeal part ofAconitum talassicum M. Pop. has yielded, in addition to five alkaloids known previously, kobusine, pseudokobusine, and the new alkaloid actaline. The structure of the latter has been established on the basis of an x-ray structural analysis. Two known flavonoids, the 7-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosides of kaempferol and of quercetin, and also the new acylated glycoside quercetin 3-O-[O-(6-caffeoyl-β-D-glucopyranosyl)-(1→2)-β-D-glucopyranoside 7-O-α-L-rhamnopyranoside (czekanoside A) have been isolated from the epigeal part ofAconitum baicalense Turcz, ex Rapaics (A. A new 19,21‐secohetisan diterpenoid alkaloid, tangutisine B ( 1 ), was isolated from the aerial parts of Aconitum tanguticum (Maxim. ) Stapf. , together with pacidine, 14‐deacetylajadine. The structure of 1 was determined by an interpretation of 1D‐ and 2D‐NMR together with X‐ray crystallographic data.
