Bases of Leavitt path algebras with only strongly regular elements

Recent articles consider invertible and locally invertible algebras (respectively, those having a basis consisting solely of invertible or solely of strongly regular elements). Previous contributions to the subject include the study of when Leavitt path algebras are invertible. This article investigates the local invertibility property in Leavitt path algebras. A complete classification of strongly regular monomials in Leavitt path algebras is given. Additionally, it is show that all directly finite and (von Neumann) regular Leavitt path algebras are locally invertible. It is also shown that a Leavitt path algebra has a basis consisting solely of strongly regular monomials if and only if it is commutative.     

Infinite-dimensional 3-Lie algebras and their connections to Harish-Chandra modules

We construct two kinds of infinite-dimensional 3-Lie algebras from a given commutative associative algebra, and show that they are all canonical Nambu 3-Lie algebras. We relate their inner derivation algebras to Witt algebras, and then study the regular representations of these 3-Lie algebras and the natural representations of the inner derivation algebras. In particular, for the second kind of 3-Lie algebras, we find that their regular representations are Harish-Chandra modules, and the inner derivation algebras give rise to intermediate series modules of the Witt algebras and contain the smallest full toroidal Lie algebras without center.     

Congruence Kernels in Weakly Regular Varieties

We generalize the concept of deductive system of Hilbert algebras for the general case of algebras in weakly regular variety and we show that congruence kernels of these algebras are just deductive systems. This concept enables us to describe congruence classes in algebras of weakly regular varieties.AMS Subject Classification (1991): 08A30 08B05     

Injective and projective regular double Stone algebras

We characterize the injective and projective regular double Stone algebras, and describe those regular double Stone algebras which are also projective in the category of double Stone algebras.Presented by Bjarni Jónsson.

We introduce the class of split regular Hom-Poisson color algebras as the natural generalization of split regular Hom-Poisson algebras and the one of split regular Hom-Lie color algebras. By developing techniques of connections of roots for this kind of algebras, we show∑that such a split regular Hom-Poisson color algebras A is of the form A = U +αIα with U a subspace of a maximal abelian subalgebra H and any Iα, a well described ideal of A, satisfying[Iα, Iβ] + IαIβ = 0 if [α]≠[β]. Under certain conditions, in the case of A being of maximal length, the simplicity of the algebra is characterized.

Semi-invariants of canonical algebras

We describe the algebras of semi-invariants on the varieties of regular representations of canonical algebras. In particular, we show that these algebras are polynomial algebras or complete intersections. Received: 29 March 1999     

Fuzzy Weak Regular,Strong and Preassociative Filters in Residuated Lattices

In this paper, the notions of fuzzy weak regular, strong and preassociative filters are introduced with some properties of them investigated. In particular, under the context of Glivenko algebras, fuzzy weak regular filters and regular ones are equivalent and characterizations of Glivenko algebras are concluded by characterizations of fuzzy strong filters. At last the notion of fuzzy preassociative filters are defined, which are proved to coincide with fuzzy Boolean filters, and then some new alternative definitions of Boolean algebras are obtained by this type of filters.

On Gelfand-Kirillov Transcendence Degree

We study some basic properties of the Gelfand-Kirillov transcendence degree and compute the transcendence degree of various infinite-dimensional division algebras including quotient division algebras of quantized algebras related to quantum groups, 3-dimensional Artin-Schelter regular algebras and the 4-dimensional Sklyanin algebra.

     

Semidirect products of weak multiplier Hopf algebras: Smash products and smash coproducts

In this paper, we will develop the smash product of weak multiplier Hopf algebras unifying the cases of Hopf algebras, weak Hopf algebras and multiplier Hopf algebras. We will show that the smash product R#A has a regular weak multiplier Hopf algebra structure if R and A are regular weak multiplier Hopf algebras. We shall investigate integrals on R#A. We also consider the result in the ?-situation and new examples. Dually, we consider the smash coproduct of weak multiplier Hopf algebras under an appropriate form and integrals on the smash coproduct and we obtain results in the ?-situation.     

Artin-Schelter regular algebras and categories

Motivated by constructions in the representation theory of finite dimensional algebras we generalize the notion of Artin-Schelter regular algebras of dimension n to algebras and categories to include Auslander algebras and a graded analogue for infinite representation type. A generalized Artin-Schelter regular algebra or a category of dimension n is shown to have common properties with the classical Artin-Schelter regular algebras. In particular, when they admit a duality, then they satisfy Serre duality formulas and the -category of nice sets of simple objects of maximal projective dimension n is a finite length Frobenius category.     

Non-Archimedean Duality: Algebras,Groups, and Multipliers

We develop a duality theory for multiplier Banach-Hopf algebras over a non-Archimedean field ??. As examples, we consider algebras corresponding to discrete groups and zero-dimensional locally compact groups with ??-valued Haar measure, as well as algebras of operators generated by regular representations of discrete groups.     

Realizing ultragraph Leavitt path algebras as Steinberg algebras

In this article, we realize the finite range ultragraph Leavitt path algebras as Steinberg algebras. This realization allows us to use the groupoid approach to obtain structural results about these algebras. Using the skew product of groupoids, we show that ultragraph Leavitt path algebras are graded von Neumann regular rings. We characterize strongly graded ultragraph Leavitt path algebras and show that every ultragraph Leavitt path algebra is semiprimitive. Moreover, we characterize irreducible representations of ultragraph Leavitt path algebras. We also show that ultragraph Leavitt path algebras can be realized as Cuntz-Pimsner rings.     

Linear maps of holomorphic functions on commutative algebras

Generalized function theory on finite dimensional linear associative algebras over the fieldo freals has pro- duced many forms o f generalized regular1ty Of particularin - terest are the forms o fregularity known as S-regularity and F- regularity. It is well known that functions regular in one sense need not be regular in the other. Here we prove a transformation theorem which allows the formation o f F-regular functions from S- regular functions. Furthermore, a classi flcation theorem is proved that determines the algebras for which this transformation property holds.     

Two dimensional unital Riesz algebras,their representations and norms

We describe all two dimensional unital Riesz algebras and study representations of them in Riesz algebras of regular operators. Although our results are not complete, we do demonstrate that very varied behaviour can occur even though all these algebras can be given a Banach lattice algebra norm.     

Generalizing the notion of Koszul algebra

We introduce a generalization of the notion of a Koszul algebra, which includes graded algebras with relations in different degrees, and we establish some of the basic properties of these algebras. This class is closed under twists, twisted tensor products, regular central extensions and Ore extensions. We explore the monomial algebras in this class and we include some well-known examples of algebras that fall into this class.     

Koszulity of Algebras with Nonpure Resolutions

We discuss certain homological properties of graded algebras whose trivial modules admit nonpure resolutions. Such algebras include both of Artin–Schelter regular algebras of types (12221) and (13431). Under certain conditions, a module with nonpure resolution is decomposed to form an extension by two modules with pure resolutions.
