Synchronizability of chaotic systems is studied in this contribution. Geometrical tools are used to understand the properties of vector fields in affine systems. The discussion is focused on synchronizability of chaotic systems with equal order. The analysis is based on the synchronous behavior of all states of the master/slave system (complete synchronization). We state sufficient and necessary conditions for complete synchronizability which are based on controllability and observability of nonlinear affine systems. In this sense, the synchronizability is studied for complete synchronization via state feedback control.  相似文献

This paper investigates the use of independent modal control to suppress the vibration of nonlinear flexible structures. In recent years technological improvements in the mechanical field have led to high-performance systems with low weight and, as a consequence, high flexibility and low damping. Here active control quickly bettered the traditional passive damping systems. The structure investigated in this paper is a multi-body flexible boom moved by hydraulic actuators. The nonlinear system dynamic was numerically reproduced and a control strategy, based on the use of the same actuators, was developed. Finally a test rig was created to validate the proposed approach experimentally.  相似文献

This paper reports that an impulsive control theory for synchronization of nonlinear R?ssler chaotic systems is developed. A new framework for impulsive synchronization between such chaotic systems is presented, which makes the synchronization error system a linear impulsive control system. Therefore, it is easy to derive the impulsive synchronization law. The proposed impulsive control scheme is illustrated by nonlinear R?ssler chaotic systems and the simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the method.  相似文献

<正>This paper presents a robust output feedback control method for uncertain chaotic systems,which comprises a nonlinear inversion-based controller with a fuzzy robust compensator.The proposed controller eliminates the unknown nonlinear function by using a fuzzy system,whose inputs are not the state variables but feedback error signals.The underlying stability analysis as well as parameter update law design are carried out by using the Lyapunov-based technique.The proposed method indicates that the nonlinear inversion-based control approach can also be applied to uncertain chaotic systems.Theoretical results are illustrated through two simulation examples.  相似文献

When dealing with nonlinear dynamical systems, it is important to have efficient, accurate and reliable tools for estimating both the linear and nonlinear system parameters from measured data. An approach for nonlinear system identification widely studied in recent years is “Reverse Path”. This method is based on broad-band excitation and treats the nonlinear terms as feedback forces acting on an underlying linear system. Parameter estimation is performed in the frequency domain using conventional multiple-input–multiple-output or multiple-input–single-output techniques. This paper presents a generalized approach to apply the method of “Reverse Path” on continuous mechanical systems with multiple nonlinearities. The method requires few spectral calculations and is therefore suitable for use in iterative processes to locate and estimate structural nonlinearities. The proposed method is demonstrated in both simulations and experiments on continuous nonlinear mechanical structures. The results show that the method is effective on both simulated as well as experimental data.  相似文献

This paper examines the adaptive control of high-order nonlinear systems with strict-feedback form. An adaptive fixed-time control scheme is designed for nonlinear systems with unknown uncertainties. In the design process of a backstepping controller, the Lyapunov function, an effective controller, and adaptive law are constructed. Combined with the fixed-time Lyapunov stability criterion, it is proved that the proposed control scheme can ensure the stability of the error system in finite time, and the convergence time is independent of the initial condition. Finally, simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.  相似文献

In this paper, a new method, based on firefly algorithm(FA) and extreme learning machine(ELM), is proposed to control chaos in nonlinear system. ELM is an efficient predicted and classified tool, and can match and fit nonlinear systems efficiently. Hence, mathematical model of uncertain nonlinear system is obtained indirectly. For higher fitting accuracy, a novel swarm intelligence algorithm FA is drawn in our proposed way. The main advantage is that our proposed method can remove the limitation that mathematical model must be known clearly and can be applied to unknown nonlinear chaotic system.  相似文献

A challenging topic in nonlinear dynamics concerns the study of fractional-order systems without equilibrium points.In particular, no paper has been published to date regarding the presence of hyperchaos in these systems. This paper aims to bridge the gap by introducing a new example of fractional-order hyperchaotic system without equilibrium points. The conducted analysis shows that hyperchaos exists in the proposed system when its order is as low as 3.84. Moreover, an interesting application of hyperchaotic synchronization to the considered fractional-order system is provided.  相似文献

This paper investigates the randomness assignment problem for a class of continuous-time stochastic nonlinear systems, where variance and entropy are employed to describe the investigated systems. In particular, the system model is formulated by a stochastic differential equation. Due to the nonlinearities of the systems, the probability density functions of the system state and system output cannot be characterised as Gaussian even if the system is subjected to Brownian motion. To deal with the non-Gaussian randomness, we present a novel backstepping-based design approach to convert the stochastic nonlinear system to a linear stochastic process, thus the variance and entropy of the system variables can be formulated analytically by the solving Fokker–Planck–Kolmogorov equation. In this way, the design parameter of the backstepping procedure can be then obtained to achieve the variance and entropy assignment. In addition, the stability of the proposed design scheme can be guaranteed and the multi-variate case is also discussed. In order to validate the design approach, the simulation results are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.  相似文献

在混沌系统的同步控制中, 由于混沌系统对初始状态的敏感性, 一旦两个混沌系统的状态初值偏差大, 其状态同步往往需要高幅值的控制律来达到, 这给同步控制实现带来了困难, 并且在同步控制中, 两个混沌系统的初始值通常是未知的. 本文考虑控制输入受限情况下的混沌同步控制问题, 基于符号函数的近似表示式, 将受限的控制输入建模为连续可微的光滑函数, 在每一个采样点将同步控制误差系统近似为局部最优线性模型并设计连续型线性二次型调节器(LQR)最优控制律. 为降低混沌同步控制律的幅值和维持同步系统采样时刻之间的动态, 设计了等价的离散最优控制律, 并通过调整LQR性能加权矩阵值, 确保同步控制信号不会超出其受限的上界. 最后对统一混沌模型下的三种不同混沌系统同步控制进行了仿真研究. 仿真结果验证了方法的有效性. 关键词: 统一混沌模型 符号函数 输入受限 同步控制  相似文献

This paper proposes a vibration suppression strategy for belt-driven servo systems subject to uncertain nonlinear dynamics and external disturbances. The function approximation technique is applied to estimate the uncertainties that are further covered by sliding-based design. The closed loop stability is justified with Lyapunov-like method to ensure ultimately uniformly bounded performance of the output error. Simulation cases show that the proposed strategy can stabilize the closed loop system with effective suppression of vibration regardless of various uncertain nonlinear dynamics and external disturbances.  相似文献

Nowadays, designing chaotic systems with hidden attractor is one of the most interesting topics in nonlinear dynamics and chaos. In this paper, a new 4D chaotic system is proposed. This new chaotic system has no equilibria, and so it belongs to the category of systems with hidden attractors. Dynamical features of this system are investigated with the help of its state-space portraits, bifurcation diagram, Lyapunov exponents diagram, and basin of attraction. Also a hardware realisation of this system is proposed by using field programmable gate arrays (FPGA). In addition, an electronic circuit design for the chaotic system is introduced.  相似文献

This paper presents the synchronisation of chaotic systems using a sampled-data fuzzy controller and is meaningful for many physical real-life applications. Firstly, a Takagi--Sugeno (T--S) fuzzy model is employed to represent the chaotic systems that contain some nonlinear terms, then a type of fuzzy sampled-data controller is proposed and an error system formed by the response and drive chaotic system. Secondly, relaxed LMI-based synchronisation conditions are derived by using a new parameter-dependent Lyapunov--Krasovskii functional and relaxed stabilisation techniques for the underlying error system. The derived LMI-based conditions are used to aid the design of a sampled-data fuzzy controller to achieve the synchronisation of chaotic systems. Finally, a numerical example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed results.  相似文献

Dynamical models of cellular processes promise to yield new insights into the underlying systems and their biological interpretation. The processes are usually nonlinear, high dimensional, and time-resolved experimental data of the processes are sparse. Therefore, parameter estimation faces the challenges of structural and practical nonidentifiability. Nonidentifiability of parameters induces nonobservability of trajectories, reducing the predictive power of the model. We will discuss a generic approach for nonlinear models that allows for identifiability and observability analysis by means of a realistic example from systems biology. The results will be utilized to design new experiments that enhance model predictiveness, illustrating the iterative cycle between modeling and experimentation in systems biology.  相似文献

This paper presents a new scheme for constructing bidirectional nonlinear coupled chaotic systems which synchronize projectively. Conditions necessary for projective synchronization (PS) of two bidirectionally coupled chaotic systems are derived using Lyapunov stability theory. The proposed PS scheme is discussed by taking as examples the so-called unified chaotic model, the Lorenz–Stenflo system and the nonautonomous chaotic Van der Pol oscillator. Numerical simulation results are presented to show the efficiency of the proposed synchronization scheme.  相似文献

This paper deals with the multi-frequency harmonic vibration suppression problem in forced Duffing mechanical systems using passive and active linear mass–spring–damper dynamic vibration absorbers. An active vibration absorption scheme is proposed to extend the vibrating energy dissipation capability of a passive dynamic vibration absorber for multiple excitation frequencies and, simultaneously, to perform reference position trajectory tracking tasks planned for the nonlinear primary system. A differential flatness-based disturbance estimation scheme is also described to estimate the unknown multiple time-varying frequency disturbance signal affecting the differentially flat nonlinear vibrating mechanical system dynamics. Some numerical simulation results are provided to show the efficient performance of the proposed active vibration absorption scheme and the fast estimation of the vibration disturbance signal.  相似文献

Variable inertia vibration absorbers (VIVA) are previously used for the vibration control of single degree of freedom (dof) primary systems. The performance of such absorbers is studied in many investigations. This paper presents the dynamic modeling and simulation of a proposed modified design of such VIVA’s for the vibration control of two dof primary systems. Lagrange formulation is used to obtain its dynamic model in an analytical form. This model, which is highly nonlinear, is used to develop a computational algorithm to study the absorber performance characteristics. This algorithm is programmed and simulated in Matlab. The obtained results are numerically verified using SAMS2000 software. The effect of mass and stiffness of the proposed VIVA on its performance and tuning is discussed. An optimization algorithm is developed to select the best absorber parameters for vibration suppression of a specific primary system. The obtained results show a good agreement with those obtained using similar techniques. In addition, a linearized model of VIVA dynamics is developed, tested and simulated for the same data used in its nonlinear model. The relative deviation between results of the linear and nonlinear models is less than 1%, which confirms the realistic use of this linearized model. The experimental testing and verification of the simulation results of the proposed VIVA is the subject of another paper.  相似文献
