Hardy spaces estimates for a class of multilinear homogeneous operators

It is proved that a class of multilinear singular integral operators with homogeneous kernels are bounded operators from the product spaces to the Hardy spacesH ^r , (ℝ ⁿ ) and the weak Hardy spaceH ^r,∞ (ℝ ⁿ . As an application of this result, the L ^p ,(ℝ ⁿ ) boundedness of a class of commutator for the singular integral with homogeneous kernels is obtained. Modified likelihood ratio test for homogeneity in bivariate normal mixtures with presence of a structural parameter

This paper investigates the asymptotic properties of the modified likelihood ratio statistic for testing homogeneity in bivariate normal mixture models with an unknown structural parameter. It is shown that the modified likelihood ratio statistic has χ22 null limiting distribution.     

On the value distribution of <Emphasis Type="Italic">ƒ</Emphasis> + <Emphasis Type="Italic">a</Emphasis>(<Emphasis Type="Italic">ƒ</Emphasis>′)<Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">n</Emphasis></Superscript>

Let ƒ be a transcendental meromorphic function, a a nonzero finite complex number, and n ⩾ 2 a positive integer. Then ƒ + a(ƒ′) ⁿ assumes every complex value infinitely often. This answers a question of Ye for n = 2. A related normality criterion is also given. Superconvergence of tricubic block finite elements

In this paper, we first introduce interpolation operator of projection type in three dimen- sions, from which we derive weak estimates for tricubic block finite elements. Then using the estimate for the W 2, 1-seminorm of the discrete derivative Green’s function and the weak estimates, we show that the tricubic block finite element solution uh and the tricubic interpolant of projection type Πh3u have superclose gradient in the pointwise sense of the L∞-norm. Weighted estimates for commutators of singular integral operators with non-doubling measures

Letμbe a nonnegative Radon measure on R~d which only satisfiesμ(B(x,r))≤C_0r~n for all x∈R~d,r>0,and some fixed constants C_0>0 and n∈(0,d].In this paper,some weighted weak type estimates with A_(p,(log L)~σ)~ρ(μ) weights are established for the commutators generated by Calder■n-Zygmund singular integral operators with RBMO(μ) functions.     

Representations of deformed preprojective algebras and quantum groups

Let (Γ,I) be the bound quiver of a cyclic quiver whose vertices correspond to the Abelian group Zd. In this paper, we list all indecomposable representations of (Γ,I) and give the conditions that those representations of them can be extended to representations of deformed preprojective algebra Πλ(Γ,I). It is shown that those representations given by extending indecomposable representations of (Γ,I) are all simple representations of Πλ(Γ,I). Construction of multiwavelets with high approximation order and symmetry

In this paper, based on existing symmetric multiwavelets, we give an explicit algorithm for constructing multiwavelets with high approximation order and symmetry. Concretely, suppose Φ(x) := (φ1(x), . . . , φr(x))T is a symmetric refinable function vectors with approximation order m. For an arbitrary nonnegative integer n, a new symmetric refinable function vector Φnew(x) := (φn1 ew(x), . . . , φrn ew(x))T with approximation order m + n can be constructed through the algorithm mentioned above. Uniqueness and stability in an inverse problem for a Poisson’s equation

Consider the Poisson's equation ψ" (x) ＝ -ev-ψ eψ-v-N(x) with the Dirichlet boundary data, and we mainly investigate the inverse problem of determining the unknown function N(x) from a parameter function family. Some uniqueness and stability results in the inverse problem are obtained.     

Cubic one-regular graphs of order twice a square-free integer

A graph is one-regular if its automorphism group acts regularly on the set of its arcs.Let n be a square-free integer.In this paper,we show that a cubic one-regular graph of order 2n exists if and only if n=3~tp1p2…p_s≥13,where t≤1,s≥1 and p_i's are distinct primes such that 3|(P_i—1). For such an integer n,there are 2~(s-1) non-isomorphic cubic one-regular graphs of order 2n,which are all Cayley graphs on the dihedral group of order 2n.As a result,no cubic one-regular graphs of order 4 times an odd square-free integer exist.     

Weak Morrey spaces and strong solutions to the Navier-Stokes equations

We consider the Cauchy problem of Navier-Stokes equations in weak Morrey spaces. We first define a class of weak Morrey type spaces Mp*,λ(Rn) on the basis of Lorentz space Lp,∞ = Lp*(Rn)(in particular, Mp*,0(Rn) = Lp,∞, if p ＞ 1), and study some fundamental properties of them; Second,bounded linear operators on weak Morrey spaces, and establish the bilinear estimate in weak Morrey spaces. Finally, by means of Kato's method and the contraction mapping principle, we prove that the Cauchy problem of Navier-Stokes equations in weak Morrey spaces Mp*,λ(Rn) (1＜p≤n) is time-global well-posed, provided that the initial data are sufficiently small. Moreover, we also obtain the existence and uniqueness of the self-similar solution for Navier-Stokes equations in these spaces, because the weak Morrey space Mp*,n-p(Rn) can admit the singular initial data with a self-similar structure. Hence this paper generalizes Kato's results.

Certain oscillatory integrals on unit square and their applications

Let Q2 = [0, 1]2 be the unit square in two dimension Euclidean space R2. We study the Lp boundedness properties of the oscillatory integral operators Tα,β defined on the set S(R3) of Schwartz test functions f by Tα,βf(x,y,z) = Q2 f(x - t,y - s,z - tksj)e-it-β1s-β2t-1-α1s-1-α2dtds, where β1 > α1 0, β2 > α2 0 and (k, j) ∈ R2. As applications, we obtain some Lp boundedness results of rough singular integral operators on the product spaces.     

Biorthogonal multiple wavelets generated by vector refinement equation

Biorthogonal multiple wavelets are generated from refinable function vectors by using the multiresolution analysis.In this paper we provide a general method for the construction of compactly supported biorthogonal multiple wavelets by refinable function vectors which are the solutions of vector refinement equations of the form (?)(x)=(?)a(α)(?)(Mx-α),x∈R~s, where the vector of functions(?)=((?)_1,...,(?)_r)~T is in(L_2(R~s))~r,a=:(a(α))_(α∈Z~s)is a finitely supported sequence of r×r matrices called the refinement mask,and M is an s×s integer matrix such that lim_(n→∞)M~(-n)=0.Our characterizations are in the general setting and the main results of this paper are the real extensions of some known results.     

Bifurcation method for solving multiple positive solutions to Henon equation

Three algorithms based on the bifurcation method are applied to solving the D4 symmetric positive solutions to the boundary value problem of Henon equation. Taking r in Henon equation as a bi- furcation parameter, the D4-Σd(D4-Σ1, D4-Σ2) symmetry-breaking bifurcation points on the branch of the D4 symmetric positive solutions are found via the extended systems. Finally, Σd(Σ1, Σ2) sym- metric positive solutions are computed by the branch switching method based on the Liapunov-Schmidt reduction.     

Boundedness in Lebesgue spaces for commutators of multilinear singular integrals and RBMO functions with non-doubling measures

The boundedness in Lebesgue spaces for commutators generated by multilinear singular integrals and RBMO(μ) functions of Tolsa with non-doubling measures is obtained, provided that‖μ‖=∞and multilinear singular integrals are bounded from L1(μ)×L1(μ)to L1/2,∞(μ).     

On fundamental groups related to the Hirzebruch surface <Emphasis Type="Italic">F</Emphasis><Subscript>1</Subscript>

Given a projective surface and a generic projection to the plane, the braid monodromy factorization (and thus, the braid monodromy type) of the complement of its branch curve is one of the most important topological invariants, stable on deformations. From this factorization, one can compute the fundamental group of the complement of the branch curve, either in ℂ² or in ℂℙ². In this article, we show that these groups, for the Hirzebruch surface F _1,(a,b), are almost-solvable. That is, they are an extension of a solvable group, which strengthen the conjecture on degeneratable surfaces. Let λ _f (n) be the Fourier coefficient of a Hecke primitive eigencuspform f(z) of even integral weight k for the full modular group. Decay parameter and related properties of 2-type branching processes
