In this paper we calculate the contributions to the branching ratio of Bs →γγ from charged pseudo-Goldstone bosons appearing in the one generation Technicolor model. We find that the theoretical value of the branching ratio, BR(Bs →γγ), including the contributions of PGBs, P^± and P8^±, is very different from the standard model (SM) prediction. The new physical effects can provide a one to two order of magnitude enhancement of the SM results. It is shown that the decay Bs →γγ can test new physical signals from the technicolor model.  相似文献

We present a SUSY model with four Higgs doublets of the"private type,"in which all fermion types(up,down,and charged leptons)obtain their masses from a different Higgs doublet H_f(f=u_1,d,e) .The conditions for anomaly cancellation imply that the remaining Higgs doublet of the model( Hu_2 )must have the same hypercharge as Hu_1 ,and thus,can only couple to up-type quarks,which opens the possibility to have FCNCs only in this sector.We study the Lagrangian of the model,and in particular,the Higgs potential,to identify the Higgs mass-eigenstates and their interactions;for the Yukawa matrices,we consider the four-texture case.We obtain constraints on the model parameters by using LHC measurements on the properties of the 125 GeV Higgs boson(h),and identify viable regions of the parameter space.Subsequently,these constraints are used to evaluate the prospects for detecting the FCNC decay mode t→ch at the future high-luminosity(HL)option for the LHC,which are compared with current limits from LHC-run2.Moreover,we evaluate the FCNC decay of the next heavier Higgs boson H2→tc ,which can typically reach BR(H_2→tc)≈(10-4-10-5) .The search for the signal at HL-LHC is also studied,and it is found that it may be detectable for specific regions of the model parameter space.  相似文献

We calculate the flavor changing t → cπ0 decay in the framework of the topcolor assisted multiscaletechnicolor model. We find that (a) the branching ratio of t → cπ0 is insensitive to mπ, mπs and mπt, while it increasesquickly as ε increases; (b) for reasonable ranges of the parameters, the maximum of the branching ratio in this modelmay reach 7 × 10-6, seven orders larger compared to the one t → cH0 calculated in the standard model. This mightprovide an opportunity to detect the rare decay of the top quark in experiments.  相似文献

The littlest Higgs model is the most economical one among various little Higgs models. In the context of the littlest Higgs (LH) model, we study the process e-γ → veW^-H and calculate the contributions of the LH model to the cross section of this process. The results show that in most of the parameter spaces preferred by the electroweak precision data, the value of the relative correction is larger than 10%. Such correction to the process e-γ →veW^-H is large enough to be detected via e-γ collisions in the future high energy linear e^+ e^- collider (ILC) experiment with the c.m. energy √s = 500 GeV and a yearly integrated luminosity £ = 100fb^-1, which will give an idea/way to test the model.  相似文献

In the context of the littlest Higgs (LH) model and the left-right twin Higgs (LRTH) model, we study the production of charged Higgs boson associated with top partner at the LHC. We find that, in the LH model, its cross section can be significantly larger for the scale parameter f = 500 GeV, while sharply decreases as f increases. In the LRTH model, this production process mainly transfers to the t?tb?bb final state at the Large Hadron Collider and its production rate can reach 167.2 fb.  相似文献

The littlest Higgs (LH) model is the most economical one among various little Higgs models, which predicts the existence of the charged scalars Φ^±. In this paper, we study the production of the charged Higgs boson Φ^- with single top quark via the process gb →tΦ^- at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The numerical results show that the production cross section is sma/ler than 0.2 pb in most of the parameters space, it is very difficult to observe the signatures of the charged scalars via the process pp → gb + X → tΦ^- + X at the LHC experiments. However, it can open a window to distinguish the top-pions in the TC2 model or charged Higgs in the MSSM from Φ^±.  相似文献

The topcolor-assisted technicolor (TC2) model predicts the existence of the top-pions and the CP-even top-Higgs with large flavor-changing couplings to the top quark, which at tree-level can mediate the top quark three-body decay t → cb-↑b. We study this decay, show the dependence of the decay rate on the relevant TC2 parameters and compare the results with the predictions in the minimal supersymmetric model. We find that the decay rate in the TC2 model is much larger than that in the minimal supersymmetric model if the new particles are not too heavy. However, in consideration of the ODF and the LEP experiment limits, the top-pion mass is greater than 340 GeV in a more realistic parameter space, so the decay width of the channel t → cb-↑b intermediated by top-pions will be depressed greatly and difficult to be detected at the future collider. Thus, to observe this channel at the future collider, considering the top-higgs contribution may be the possible way when the masses of the top-pions and the top-higgs are not degenerate.  相似文献

The SO(3) gauge extension of SM, which is proposed to present a successful explanation for the observed small masses of neutrino and the nearly tri-bimaximal neutrino mixing, predicted the vector-like SO(3) triplet Majorana neutrinos and SUL(2) double Higgs bosons. In this work we calculate branching ratios of the charged lepton flavor violating decays lIlJV (V = γ, Z) induced by these Majorana neutrinos and Higgs bosons. We find that under the model parameters constrained by experimental bounds on the decays Z →lIlJ, the branching ratio of decays lI→lJγ can be up to 10^-10, which may be accessible at the future experiments.  相似文献

The neutral gauge boson BH with the mass of hundreds GeV is the lightest particle predicted by the littlest Higgs (LH) model, and such particle should be the first signal of the LH model at the planed ILC if it exists indeed. In this paper, we study some processes of the BH production associated with the fermion pair at the ILC, i.e., γγ→ ff^- BH. The studies show that the most promising processes to detect BH amongγγ→ ff^- BH are γγ→ l'^+l'^-BH (l' = e,μ), and they can produce the sufficient signals in most parameter space preferred by the electroweak precision data at the ILC. On the other hand, the signal produced via the certain BH decay modes is typical and such signal can be easily identified from the SM background. Therefore, BH, the lightest gauge boson in the LH model, would be detectable at the photon collider realized at the ILC.  相似文献

We apply perturbative QCD to the radiative decays of charmonia J/ψ and χcJ into light mesons. We perform a complete numerical calculation for the quark-gluon loop diagrams involved in these processes. The calculated J/ψ decay branching ratios into p-wave mesons f2(1270) and f1(1285) fit the data well, while that of fo(980) (if treated as an ss meson) is predicted to be 1.6×10^-4, which implies that f0(1710) can not be the ss or (uu+dd)/√2 meson. Decays of p-wave charmonia χcJ→ρ(ω;φ)γ (J = 0, 1, 2) are also studied, and the branching ratio of χc1→ργ is predicted to be 1.4×10^-5, which may be tested by CLEO-c collaboration and BESlg collaboration with future experiments.  相似文献

In the context of topcolor-assisted technicolor (TC2) model, we study the charged and neutral top-pions production process γγ →W+ ∏t-∏t^0. We find that the production cross section is larger than that of the process γγ→ W+ H-H in the minimal supersymmetric standard model. With reasonable values of the parameters in the TC2 model, the cross section can reach the level of a few fb. Furthermore, the flavor-changing (FC) decay mode ∏t^0 → te^- is the best channel to detect the neutral top-pion due to the clean SM background. With a large number of events and the clean background, the neutral top-pion should be observable at future linear colliders operating in γγ mode at the TeV energy scale.  相似文献

We analyze the radiative leptonic Bc decay Bc-→τ-νˉτγ in the Standard Model and the twoHiggs-doublet model using the non-relativistic constituent quark model.The results confirm that this channel is experimentally promising in view of the large number of Bc mesons which are expected to be produced at future hadron facilities.We also find that this decay is sensitive to the parameters of the two-Higgs-doublet model,and it can be tested in future experiments.  相似文献

In the context of the left-right twin Higgs (LRTH) model, we fist study single production of the standard model (SM) top quark via e-γ collisions. We find that the corrections of the LRTH model to the cross section of the process e-γ→vebt might be observed only for f ≤750 GeV and the heavy top quark mass scale M ≥500 GeV in future high energy linear e^+e^- collider (LC) experiment with the center-of-mass (CM) energy √s = 500 GeV and a yearly integrated luminosity of £ = 100 fb^-1. We also consider single production of the heavy top quark T via e-γ collisions. Our numerical results show that the possible signals of the heavy top quark T might be observed via the decay channel T →Ф^+b→tbb in future LC experiment with √s = 3 TeV and £ = 500 fb^-1.  相似文献

Recently,the CDF Collaboration has measured the branching fraction and time-integrated direct CP asymmetry of Bs → K-π+ decay.The branching ratio is lower than the previous predictions based on QCD factorization.The experimental results favor a large CP asymmetry in Bs → K-π+ decay while the standard model prediction is very small.We compute the supersymmetry contributions to Bs → K-π+ decay using the mass insertion method,and find that the LR and RL mass insertions could suppress this branching ratio and increase this direct CP asymmetry well in line with the experimental data.  相似文献

The recent observations of the purely leptonic decay Ds+→μ+νμ and τ+ντ at CLEO-c and B factory may allow a possible contribution from a charged Higgs boson. One such measurement of the decay constant fD. differs from the most precise unquenched lattice QCD calculation by a level of 4 σ. Meanwhile, the measured ratio, BR(Ds+→μ+νμ)/BR(D+→μ+νμ), is larger than the standard model prediction at a 2.0σ level. We discuss that the precise measurement of the ratio BR(Ds+→μ+νμ)/BR(D+→μ+νμ) at BES-Ⅲ will shed light on the presence of new intermediate particles by comparing the data with the theoretical predictions, especially, the predictions of high precise unquenched lattice QCD calculations.  相似文献

Motivated by recent search results for the standard model (SM) Higgs boson at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), we revisit the Higgs phenomenology in the littlest Higgs model with T-parity (LHT). We present the signal strength modifier μ, respectively, for the main search channels qq' → jjh→ jjγγ, qq'→ Vh→ Vγγ, qq'→ Vh → Vbb, gg→ h → γγ, and gg → h → VV in the LHT model. It is found that an enhancement factor of 1.09-1.56 in the qq' → jjh→ jjγγ channel can be obtained for this model in Case B with parameter f in the range 500-1000~GeV. However, the rates for bb, ττ are significantly suppressed relative to the SM predictions, which are still consistent with the current sensitivity. It is hoped that this will be further tested with larger integrated luminosity at the LHC.  相似文献

Flavor changing effects on the processes t → ch, e+e- → bs, e+e-→ bsh and pp → bs in the LHT model are investigated in this paper. We calculate the one-loop level contributions from the T-parity odd mirror fermions and gauge bosons. The results show that the top quark rare decay t → ch in the LHT model can be significantly enhanced relative to that in the SM. The bs production at linear colliders in the LHT model can enhance the SM cross section a lot and reach 0.1 fb in some parameter space allowed in the experiment. But the heavy gauge boson and mirror fermion loops have small contribution to the processes pp → bs and e+e-→ bsh. So the LHT effect on e+e-→ bs might be detected at future linear colliders, while it is too small to be seen for the e+e-→ bsh and pp → bs processes at future linear colliders and LHC.  相似文献

We calculate the branching ratio of B → J/ψπ0 with a mixed formalism that combines the QCDimproved factorization and the perturbative QCD approaches.The result is consistent with experimental data.The quite small penguin contribution in B → J/ψπ0 decay can be calculated with this method.We suggest two methods to extract the weak phase β.One is through the dependence of the mixing induced CP asymmetry SJ/ψπ0 on the weak phase β,the other is from the relation of the total asymmetry ACP with the weak phase β.Our results show that the deviation ΔSJ/ψπ0 of the mixing induced CP asymmetry from sin(-2β) is of O(10-3) and has much less uncertainty.The above O(10-3) deviation can provide a good reference for identifying new physics.  相似文献
