We introduce a class of new integrable lattice models labeled by a pair of positive integers N and r. The integrable model is obtained from the Gauge/YBE correspondence, which states the equivalence of the 4d $\mathcal {N} =1$ $S^{1}\times S^{3}/ \mathbb {Z} _{r}$ index of a large class of SU(N) quiver gauge theories with the partition function of 2d classical integrable spin models. The integrability of the model (star-star relation) is equivalent with the invariance of the index under the Seiberg duality. Our solution to the Yang-Baxter equation is one of the most general known in the literature, and reproduces a number of known integrable models. Our analysis identifies the Yang-Baxter equation with a particular duality (called the Yang-Baxter duality) between two 4d $\mathcal {N} =1$ supersymmetric quiver gauge theories. This suggests that the integrability goes beyond 4d lens indices and can be extended to the full physical equivalence among the IR fixed points.  相似文献

We apply the new method for constructing integrable Hamiltonian hierarchies of Lax type equations developed in our previous paper to show that all \({\mathcal{W}}\)-algebras \({\mathcal{W}(\mathfrak{gl}N, f)}\) carry such a hierarchy. As an application, we show that all vector constrained KP hierarchies and their matrix generalizations are obtained from these hierarchies by Dirac reduction, which provides the former with a bi-Poisson structure.  相似文献

This paper obtains the multi-component Harry--Dym (H--D) hierarchy and its integrable couplings by using two kinds of vector loop algebras \widetilde{G}3 and \widetilde{G}6. The Hamiltonian structures of the above system are given by the quadratic-form identity. The method can be used to produce the Hamiltonian structures of the other integrable couplings or multi-component hierarchies.  相似文献

The notion of integrability will often extend from systems with scalar-valued fields to systems with algebra-valued fields. In such extensions the properties of, and structures on, the algebra play a central role in ensuring integrability is preserved. In this paper, a new theory of Frobenius algebra-valued integrable systems is developed. This is achieved for systems derived from Frobenius manifolds by utilizing the theory of tensor products for such manifolds, as developed by Kaufmann (Int Math Res Not 19:929–952, 1996), Kontsevich and Manin (Inv Math 124: 313–339, 1996). By specializing this construction, using a fixed Frobenius algebra \({\mathcal {A}},\) one can arrive at such a theory. More generally, one can apply the same idea to construct an \({\mathcal {A}}\)-valued topological quantum field theory. The Hamiltonian properties of two classes of integrable evolution equations are then studied: dispersionless and dispersive evolution equations. Application of these ideas are discussed, and as an example, an \({\mathcal {A}}\)-valued modified Camassa–Holm equation is constructed.  相似文献

A kind of integrable couplings of soliton equations hierarchy with self-consistent sources associated with \tilde{sl}(4) is presented by Yu. Based on this method, we construct a new integrable couplings of the classical-Boussinesq hierarchy with self-consistent sources by using of loop algebra \tilde{sl}(4). In this paper, we also point out that there exist some errors in Yu's paper and have corrected these errors and set up new formula. The method can be generalized other soliton hierarchy with self-consistent sources.  相似文献

Through top-quark pair productions at LHC, we study possible effects of nonstandard top–gluon couplings yielded by SU(3)×SU(2)×U(1) invariant dimension-6 effective operators. We calculate the total cross section and also some distributions for $pp\to t\bar{t}X$ as functions of two anomalous-coupling parameters, i.e., the chromoelectric and chromomagnetic moments of the top, which are constrained by the total cross section $\sigma(p\bar{p}\to t\bar{t}X)$ measured at Tevatron. We find that LHC might give us some chances to observe sizable effects induced by those new couplings.  相似文献

Bloch and Okounkov introduced an n-point correlation function on the infinite wedge space and found an elegant closed formula in terms of theta functions. This function has connections to Gromov-Witten theory, Hilbert schemes, symmetric groups, etc., and it can also be interpreted as correlation functions on integrable -modules of level one. Such -correlation functions at higher levels were then calculated by Cheng and Wang. In this paper, generalizing the type A results, we formulate and determine the n-point correlation functions in the sense of Bloch-Okounkov on integrable modules over classical Lie subalgebras of of type B, C, D at arbitrary levels. As byproducts, we obtain new q-dimension formulas for integrable modules of type B, C, D and some fermionic type q-identities.  相似文献

A brief review of the assignment of elementary fermions and bosons to irreducible multiplets in grand unified \(E_{6}\) models is followed by a discussion of different, hierarchical symmetry breaking chains from \(E_{6}\) down to \(SU(3)_{C} \times U(1)_{EM}\). We concentrate here on a model with an intermediate Pati-Salam symmetry for which \((B-L)\) is conserved. In particular, the mass/mixing matrix of electrically neutral fermions (i.e.neutrinos) that would be derived from Yukawa couplings is constructed. The pattern of neutrino masses and some bounds on mixing parameters are discussed.  相似文献

A 3 × 3 matrix spectral problem and a Liouville integrable hierarchy are constructed by designing a new subalgebra of loop algebra A^-2. Furthermore, high-order binary symmetry constraints of the corresponding hierarchy are obtained by using the binary nonlinearization method. We give a new way to derive branching rules for the conformal embedding $$(\hat{\mathfrak{sl}}_n)_m\oplus(\hat{\mathfrak{sl}}_m)_n\subset(\hat{\mathfrak{sl}}_{nm})_1. $$ In addition, we show that the category ${\mathcal{C}(\hat{\mathfrak{sl}}_n)_m^0}$ of degree zero integrable highest weight ${(\hat{\mathfrak{sl}}_n)_m}$ -representations is braided equivalent to ${\mathcal{C}(\hat{\mathfrak{sl}}_m)_n^0}$ with the reversed braiding.  相似文献

In this Letter, we present an integrable coupling system of lattice hierarchy and its continuous limits by using of Lie algebra sl(4). By introducing a complex discrete spectral problem, the integrable coupling system of Toda lattice hierarchy is derived. It is shown that a new complex lattice spectral problem converges to the integrable couplings of discrete soliton equation hierarchy, which has the integrable coupling system of C-KdV hierarchy as a new kind of continuous limit.  相似文献

We show that single Higgs production inγγ collisions through laser backscattering provides the best way to look for New Physics (NP) effects inducing anomalous Higgs couplings. Our analysis is based on the fourdim=6 operators ${\mathcal{O}}_{UB} , {\mathcal{O}}_{UW, } \bar {\mathcal{O}}_{UB} $ , and $\bar {\mathcal{O}}_{UW} $ which describe New Physics effects in this sector. Using the Higgs production rate we establish observability limits for the couplings of the aforementioned operators at a level of 10?3, which means establishing lower bounds on the scale of NP of the order 30 to 200 TeV. Higgs branching ratios, especially the ratio Γ(H→γγ)/Γ(H→γZ), are shown to provide powerful ways to disentangle the effects of the various operators.  相似文献

We propose the generation of Standard Model fermion hierarchy by the extension of renormalizable SO(10) GUT with O(Ng) family gauge symmetry. In this scenario, Higgs representations of SO(10) also carry family indices and are called Yukawons. Vacuum expectation values of these Yukawon fields break GUT and family symmetry and generate MSSM Yukawa couplings dynamically. We have demonstrated this idea using \({\mathbf {10}}\oplus {\mathbf {210}} \oplus {\mathbf {126}} \oplus {\overline {\mathbf {126}}}\) Higgs irrep, ignoring the contribution of 120-plet which is, however, required for complete fitting of fermion mass-mixing data. The effective MSSM matter fermion couplings to the light Higgs pair are determined by the null eigenvectors of the MSSM-type Higgs doublet superfield mass matrix \(\mathcal {H}\). A consistency condition on the doublet ([1,2,±1]) mass matrix (\(\text {Det}(\mathcal {H})=\) 0) is required to keep one pair of Higgs doublets light in the effective MSSM. We show that the Yukawa structure generated by null eigenvectors of \(\mathcal {H}\) are of generic kind required by the MSSM. A hidden sector with a pair of (Sab; ?ab) fields breaks supersymmetry and facilitates \(D_{O(N_{g})}\hspace *{-1pt}=\) 0. SUSY breaking is communicated via supergravity. In this scenario, matter fermion Yukawa couplings are reduced from 15 to just 3 parameters in MSGUT with three generations.  相似文献

We define the twisted loop Lie algebra of a finite dimensional Lie algebra as the Fréchet space of all twisted periodic smooth mappings from to . Here the Lie algebra operation is continuous. We call such Lie algebras Fréchet Lie algebras. Supersymmetry operators that change a spin chain’s length have appeared in numerous contexts, ranging from the AdS/CFT correspondence to statistical mechanics models. In this article, we present, via an analysis of the Bethe equations, all homogeneous, rational and trigonometric, integrable \(\mathfrak {gl}( n|m)\) spin chains for which length-changing supersymmetry can be present. Furthermore, we write down the supercharges explicitly for the simplest new models, namely the \(\mathfrak {sl}( n|1)\) spin chains with the \((n-1)\) -fold antisymmetric tensor product of the fundamental representation at each site and check their compatibility with integrability.  相似文献

The result suggests the hidden Yangian module structure on the levell integrable modules, which is consistent with the earlier work [1] in the level one case. The space of functions A over the phase space of KdV-hierarchy is studied as a module over the ring generated by commuting derivations. A -free resolution of A is constructed by Babelon, Bernard and Smirnov by taking the classical limit of the construction in quantum integrable models assuming a certain conjecture. We propose another -free resolution of A by extending the construction in the classical finite dimensional integrable system associated with a certain family of hyperelliptic curves to infinite dimension assuming a similar conjecture.
