The design, synthesis and coordination of a novel multisite vic-dioxime compound, LH2, containing flexible pyridine substituents and aminophenylsulfanyl moieties on the periphery, facilitating solubility in water as pyridinium hydrochloride salt are described. LH2 was prepared by the reaction between 2-(2-pyridylethylamino)-benzenethiol and (E,E)-dichloroglydioxime. Mononuclear [(E,E)M] (M=NiII, CuII, CoII, FeII and MnII) and dinuclear uranyl (UO2 II) complexes of LH2 were isolated and characterized with metal:ligand ratios of 1:2 and 2:2, respectively. The reaction of Na2PdCl4·3H2O and AgNO3 in DMF with the mononuclear complex, (LH)2Ni, resulted in the formation of the heterotrinuclear complexes [Pd2Ni(LH)2]Cl4 and [Ag2Ni(LH)2](NO3)2. The complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, 1H-n.m.r., u.v.--vis. spectroscopy, i.r., and MS (LSIMS). The redox properties of the complexes were studied by cyclic voltammetry.  相似文献

A new alcohol soluble functionalized vic-dioxime, bis-[(1-hydroxyhexyl)-(8,9-hydroxyimino)-7,10-dithiahexacosane (LH2), and its alcohol-soluble mono and dinuclear complexes (NiII, CuII, CoII, MnII, PdII and UO 2 II ) have been prepared from 6-mercapto-1-hexanol and (E,E)-dichloroglyoxime under high dilution basic conditions. Reactive polyalcohol moieties appended at the periphery of the oxime containing two different heteroatoms (S-, O-), serve as a weak exocyclic binding sites for PdII and AgI metal ions and also provide solubility for the vic-dioxime complexes in low molecular-weight alcohols. Both mono-nuclear (LH)2M and homodinuclear (LH)2(UO2)2(OH)2 and heterotrinuclear (LH)2MM 2 Xn, where M = CoII M′ = PdII, X = Cl, n = 4 and AgI X = NO 3 , n = 2) complexes have been obtained with a 1:2, 2:2, 3:2 metal/ligand ratio, respectively. Electronic spectra of the modified vic-dioximes exhibit monitorable changes in UV. All mono and dinuclear-complexes are soluble in common organic solvents. The elemental analysis, 1H-n.m.r, i.r., u.v–vis, and f.a.b.–m.s data and by cyclic and differential pulse voltammetry measurements are presented.  相似文献

Summary The synthesis of the NiII, PdII and CuII complexes of N, N-bis(aminoalkyl)oxamides (LH2) is described and structures are proposed on the basis of their physical and spectroscopic properties. With NiII and PdII only one complex is formed with general formula NiL or PdL, characterised by coordination through two deprotonated amide N-atoms and two terminal NH2 groups. With CuII it proved possible to obtain three structurally different compounds, depending on the pH, with general formulae Cu(LH2)X2, Cu2(L)X2 and CuL in which X=Cl, Br or NO3. The structure of [Cu2(C8O2N4H16](NO3)2 was solved by means ofx-ray diffraction; Mr=451.33, monoclinic, space group P21/n, a=9.503(4), b=7.614(1), c=10.407(3) Å, =98.43(3)°, V=744.3(7)Å3, Z=2, Dx=1.202 g cm–3, =1.33 cm–1, (MoK)=0.71073 Å, F(000)=520, room temperature, R=0.043, wR=0.047 for 1080 observed [I>-3(I)] not systematically absent reflections out of 1423 measurements and 137 variables. The compound has a conformational chair/boat disorder with 82% in the more stable chair form.  相似文献

The hydrolysis of the [Pt(dien)H2O]2+ and [Pd(dien)H2O]2+ complexes has been investigated by potentiometry at 298 K, in 0.1 mol dm–3 aqueous NaClO4. Least-squares treatment of the data obtained indicates the formation of mononuclear and -hydroxo-bridged dinuclear complexes with stability constants: log 11 = –6.94 for [Pt(dien)OH]+, log 11 = –7.16 for [Pd(dien)OH]+, and also log 22 = –9.37 for [Pt2(dien)2(OH)2]2+ and log 22 = –10.56 for [Pd2(dien)2(OH)2]2+. At pH values > 5.5, formation of the dimer becomes significant for the PtII complex, and at pH > 6.5 for the PdII complex. These results have been analyzed in relation to the antitumor activity of PtII complexes.  相似文献

A new vic-dioxime, 13,14-bis-(hydroxyimino)-9,12,15,18-diazadithiaoctacosane, has been synthesized from 2-octylsulfanylaminobenzene and (E,E)-dichloroglyoxime. Mononuclear transition metal complexes of NiII, CuII, CoII and FeII have been prepared and were found to have a metal–ligand ratio of 1:2. The synthesis of di- and trinuclear complexes was achieved with UIVO2 and CuII depending on the stoichiometry of the reactants. The complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, 1H-n.m.r., u.v.–vis, i.r., f.a.b.-m.s. and by cyclic voltammetry.  相似文献

Summary Complexes of the general types Pd(L)(LH)Cl (LH=hxH, xnH, or tbH) and Pt(L)(LH)Cl3 (LH=hxH, or xnH) are formed by boiling under reflux 21 molar mixtures of hypoxanthine (hxH), xanthine (xnH) or theobromine (tbH) and PdCl2 or PtCl4 in ethanol-triethyl orthoformate. These complexes appear to be linear chain polymeric species, characterized by single monoanionic L ligands bridging between adjacent Pd2+ or Pt4+ ions. Inclusion of one terminal neutral LH and one terminal chloro-ligand completes the coordination sphere in the square-planar Pd2+ complexes, while the Pt4+ complexes aretrans-octahedral, involving three terminal chloro and one terminal LH ligand per platinum. The possible binding sites of the bidentate bridging L and the unidentate terminal LH are discussed.  相似文献

Asymmetric 7-formyanil-substituted-imino-4-(4-methyl-2-butanone)-8-hydroxyquinoline-5-sulphonic acid (Schiff bases), react with CoII, NiII and CuII ions to give 1:2, 1:1 and 2:1 complexes as established by conductometric titrations in 1:1 DMF:H2O. The complexes were investigated by elemental analyses, molecular weight determinations, molar conductance, magnetic moments, thermal analysis, i.r., u.v.–vis. and e.s.r. spectra. The complexes have an octahedral crystal structure and general formula [ML·(OH2)2], where MII = Co, Ni and Cu, and L = Na[7—X—HL], (—X— = (CH2)2, (CH2)3, p-C6H4, o-C6H4). Antimicrobial activity of these new ligands and their transition metal complexes has been screened in vitro on common fungi and bacteria.  相似文献

Summary The electronic and vibrational spectra of NiII and PdII complexes with thiobenzamide, L, are discussed. L acts as a sulphur donor ligand. The PdII compounds and (NiL4)(ClO4)2 are square planar. PdL2Cl2 has acis-structure, while PdL2X2 (X=Br or I) istrans; NiL4Cl2 istrans-octahedral. The i.r. bands due to(M.S) and(MX) have been assigned. The influence of the anions on the properties of the complexes, both in solution and in the solid state, is discussed.  相似文献

Treatment of [M(AMP)Cl2] (M = PtII, PdII; AMP = 2-aminomethylpyridine) with 1 mole of AgX (X = ClO4, BF4, PF6) in dmso yields [M(AMP)(dmso)Cl]X. Single crystal X-ray structure determinations of the PdII and PtII complexes indicate that dmso is S-bondedtrans to the pyridyl ring in both complexes. Two 2-terephthalate (tp) bridged complexes, [Cu2(tp)(pren)4](ClO4)2 (pren = 1,3-diaminopropane) (1) and [Ni2(tp)(pren)4(Him)2](ClO4)2 (Him = imidazole) (2), have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray single-crystal structural analysis. In the discrete dinuclear [Cu2(tp)(pren)4]2+ cation of complex (1), each CuII atom has a square-pyramidal geometry, being coordinated by four nitrogen atoms (avg. 2.031 Å) from two pren ligands at the basal plane and one oxygen atom [2.259(3) Å] from a bis-monodentate tp group at the axial position. In the discrete dinuclear [Ni2(tp)(pren)4(Him)2]2+ cation of complex (2), each NiII center is coordinated by five nitrogen atoms [Ni—N 2.069(3)–2.109(2) Å] from one Him group and two pren groups, and completed by one oxygen atom [Ni—O 2.138(3) Å] from a bis-monodentate tp group to furnish a distorted octahedron. Magnetic susceptibility studies show that the pair of metal atoms, although being separated by >11.5 Å, exhibit weak intramolecular antiferromagnetic interactions in complexes (1) (g = 2.07 and J = –3.4 cm–1) and (2) (g = 2.10 and J = –0.7 cm–1). The electrochemical behaviors of the complexes have also been studied by cyclic voltammogram processes.  相似文献

A series of mononuclear MnII and MnIV complexes of general formulae [MnL2(NCS)2] (1a1d) and [Mn(L)2(NCS)2] (2a2c) have been prepared where L are Schiff bases obtained by the condensation of pyridine-2-aldehyde with para-alkyl-substituted aniline, and L are the corresponding amide ligands. The room temperature magnetic susceptibility data of (1a–1d) indicate that MnII is in a high spin state. The cyclic voltammograms of (1a–1d) exhibit a one-electron quasi-reversible MnIIMnIII oxidation. A linear correlation has been found when E0[MnIII/MnII] is plotted against Hammett p parameters. X-ray crystallographic data of (1b) shows that the central MnII ion adopts a distorted octahedral geometry with six different Mn–N distances. Upon oxidation of MnII complexes (1b–1d) by H2O2, the corresponding MnIV complexes (2a–2c) were obtained, and the Schiff base ligands were oxidized to the corresponding amides. The lowest energy LMCT bands of these MnIV complexes correlate linearly with Hammett p parameters. The redox behavior of the MnIV complexes has been investigated by cyclic voltammetry. E.p.r. spectra of the MnII and MnIV complexes are also reported.  相似文献

A cyanide-bridged FeIII–FeII mixed-valence assembly, [FeIII(salen)]2[FeII(CN)5NO] [salen = N,N-ethylenebis(salicylideneiminato)dianion], prepared by slow diffusion of an aqueous solution of Na2[Fe(CN)5NO] · 2H2O and a MeOH solution of [Fe(salen)NO3] in an H tube, has been characterized by X-ray structure analysis, i.r. spectra and magnetic measurements. The product assumes a two-dimensional network structure consisting of pillow-like octanuclear [—FeII—CN—FeIII—NC—]4 units with dimensions: FeII—C = 1.942(7) Å, C—N = 1.139(9) Å, FeIII—N = 2.173(6) Å, FeII—C—N = 178.0(6)°, FeIII—N—C = 163.4(6)°. The FeII—N—O bond angle is linear (180.0°). The variable temperature magnetic susceptibility, measured in the 4.8–300 K range, indicates the presence of a weak intralayer antiferromagnetic interaction and gives an FeIII–FeIII exchange integral of –0.033 cm–1.  相似文献

Five new metal complexes [Pd(LH)2] (1), [Pd(L)2Ru2(bpy)4](ClO4)2 (2), [Pd(L)2Ru2(phen)4](ClO4)2 (3), [Pd(L)2Ru2(dafo)4](ClO4)2 (4) and [Pd(L)2Ru2(dcbpy)4](ClO4)2 (5), (where, L = ligand, bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine, phen = 1,10-phenantroline, dafo = 4,5-diazafluoren-9-one and dcbpy = 3,3′-dicarboxy-2,2′-bipyridine) have been isolated and characterized by UV-VIS, FT-IR, 1H NMR, magnetic susceptibility measurements, elemental analysis, molar conductivity, X-ray powder techniques, thermal analyses and their morphology studied by SEM measurements. IR spectra show that the ligand acts in a tetradentate manner and coordinates N4 donor groups of LH2 to PdII ion. The disappereance of H-bonding (O−H···O) in the trinuclear RuII-PdII-RuII metal complexes, the RuII ion centered into the main oxime core by the coordination of the imino groups while the two RuII ions coordinate dianionic oxygen donors of the oxime groups and linked to the ligands of bpy, phen, dafo and dbpy. The X-powder results show that 1 metal complex is indicating crystalline nature, not amorphous nature. Whereas, the X-ray powder pattern of the ligand (LH2) with 2, 3,4 and 5 exhibited only broad humps, indicating its amorphous nature. The catalytic activity of three different complexes were tested in the Suzuki coupling reaction. The 1, 4 and 5 metal complexes catalyse Suzuki coupling reaction between phenylboronic acid and arylbromides affording biphenyls. Also, the thermal results shown that the most stable complex is 1 compound while the less stable is 4 compound.  相似文献

Summary The kinetics of oxidation of amines (EtNH2, Et2NH, Et3N) and aminoalcohols [H2NCH2CH2OH, H2N(CH2)3OH, (CH2CH2OH)2NH, (CH2CH2OH)3N] by N-bromosuccinimide (NBS) have been studied in aqueous HClO4 with PdCl2 as catalyst, and in the presence of Hg(OAc)2 to ensure oxidation by pure NBS. The order of reaction with respect to NBS was unity, however, an increase in [NBS]0 resulted in a decrease in the rate constant. The rate was directly proportional to [PdII] for the aminoalcohols while for EtNH2 the rate was proportional to k + k[PdII] (where k and k are rate constants for the uncatalysed and catalysed paths, respectively). Retarding effects for HClO4, succinimide, Cl and AcOH on the rate of oxidation were observed. The kinetic data support the formation of [PdII-A] and [PdII-(A)2] complexes (where A represents amine or aminoalcohol). A mechanism, consistent with the observed kinetic data, is proposed.  相似文献

Crystallisation of the divalent nickel and cobalt complexes of 3-hydroxy-4-methyl-2(3H)-thiazolethione (HMTT) from DMSO yields isostructural chelate complexes M(MTT)2(dmso)2, M = CoII/NiII. The metal atom adopts distorted octahedral coordination via two bidentate MTT ligands arranged in a trans-conformation and two DMSO molecules coordinated through oxygen. Powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) and energy-dispersive X-ray (EDX) analysis show that the materials form a continuous solid solution Co x Ni1–x (MTT)2(dmso)2 over the entire composition range 0 x 1.  相似文献

The diamagnetic complexes [Pd2(H2L1)Cl4] (I), [Pd2(H2L2)Cl4] (II), and Pd2(H2L3)Cl4(III) with chiral ligands derived from the natural monoterpenoid (R)-(+)-limonene are obtained (H2 L1 is ethylenediamine dioxime, H2L2 is piperazine dioxime, and H2L3 is propylenediamine dioxime). According to X-ray diffraction data, the crystal structures of complexes I and II are composed of binuclear acentric molecules. The coordination polyhedra PdN2Cl2 are trapeziums (squares distorted in a tetrahedral manner) made up of two N atoms of the tetradentate bridging cyclic ligands H2L1 and H2L2 and two Cl atoms. The fragments PdCl2 are trans in the complexes. The 13C and 1H NMR spectra of complexes I and II in CDCl3 also suggest their binuclear structures.  相似文献

Summary Complexes of CoII, NiII, CuII, ZnII, CdII, HgII and UO 2 II with benzil bis(4-phenylthiosemicarbazone), H2BPT, have been synthesized and their structures assigned based on elemental analysis, molar conductivity, magnetic susceptibility and spectroscopic measurements. The i.r. spectra suggest that the ligand behaves as a binegative quadridentate (NSSN) (CoII, CuII, HgII and UO 2 II complexes) or as a binegative quadridentate-neutral bidentate chelating agent (NiII, ZnII and CdII complexes). Octahedral structures for the CoII and NiII complexes and square-planar structure for the CuII complex are suggested on the basis of magnetic and spectral evidence. The crystal field parameters (Dq, B and B) for the CoII complex are calculated and agree fairly well with the values reported for known octahedral complexes. The ligand can be used for the microdetermination of NiII ions of concentration in the 0.4–6×10–4 mol l–1 range and the apparent formation constant for the species generated in solution has also been calculated.  相似文献

Diamagnetic [Ni(i-Bu2PS2)2] compound (I) in ethanol reacts with 2,2"-bipyridine or pyrazine to give the paramagnetic complexes [Ni(2,2"-Bipy)(i-Bu2PS2)2] (II), [Ni(Pz)2(i-Bu2PS2)2] (III), and [Ni(Pz)(i-Bu2PS2)2] n (IV) (eff= 2.91–3.12 B). Single crystals of IIwere grown for X-ray diffraction study. The crystals are monoclinic, a= 14.669(3) Å, b= 19.693(4) Å, c= 12.155(2) Å, = 107.51(3)°, V= 3348(1) Å3, Z= 4; calcd= 1.257 g/cm3, space group P21/c. The structure is built from monomeric molecules. The coordination polyhedron of the Ni atom is a distorted octahedron formed by four S atoms of two bidentate chelating i-Bu2PS 2ligands and by two N atoms of bidentate cyclic 2,2"-Bipy. Preliminary data for complexes IIIand IVindicate that they also contain an octahedral NiN2S4fragment. The structures of complexes I(square planar) and ofIIIV(octahedral) were confirmed by data from electron spectroscopy. Electronic absorption spectra were used to determine the rankings of the i-Bu2PS 2ions and Pz on a spectrochemical scale.  相似文献

Summary A series of mixed-ligand complexes of group VIII metals, M(DIAFO)2(NCS)2 and M(DIAFH)2X2 (M = FeII, CoII, NiII, X = NCS, Cl) with the 3,3-bridged derivative of 2,2-bipyridyl (bipy) (1) were prepared, where DIAFO (2) and DIAFH (3) are 4,5-diazafluoren-9-one and 4,5-diazafluoren-9-hydrazone, respectively. These complexes were investigated by i.r., u.v.-vis-near i.r. spectroscopy and by variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements. The electronic spectra show that the two ligands exert a field strength far removed from the FeII cross-over value. All the complexes are paramagnetic, following the Curie-Weiss law in the 77–300 K range. A typical crystal structure of Co(DIAFO)2(NCS)2 for these compounds was determined with orthorhombic, space group Pcan, a = 10.377(5) Å, b = 13.289(6) Å, c= 16.629(7) Å, V = 2293(2) Å3, D c = 1.563 g cm–3, F(000) = 1091.74, Z = 4, R = 0.043, R = 0.047. Steric effects are thought to be operative in both ligands studied, but are weaker than those of the typical bidentate diimine ligand bipy.Author to whom all correspondence should be directed.  相似文献
