This paper presents a novel wideband fast multipole boundary element approach to 3D half-space/planesymmetric acoustic wave problems.The half-space fundamental solution is employed in the boundary integral equations so that the tree structure required in the fast multipole algorithm is constructed for the boundary elements in the real domain only.Moreover,a set of symmetric relations between the multipole expansion coefficients of the real and image domains are derived,and the half-space fundamental solution is modified for the purpose of applying such relations to avoid calculating,translating and saving the multipole/local expansion coefficients of the image domain.The wideband adaptive multilevel fast multipole algorithm associated with the iterative solver GMRES is employed so that the present method is accurate and efficient for both lowand high-frequency acoustic wave problems.As for exterior acoustic problems,the Burton-Miller method is adopted to tackle the fictitious eigenfrequency problem involved in the conventional boundary integral equation method.Details on the implementation of the present method are described,and numerical examples are given to demonstrate its accuracy and efficiency.  相似文献

对弹性动力学的相似边界元法进行了进一步研究,推导了相应的计算公式,并在此基础上提出了动态断裂力学的无限相似边界元法.与传统的边界元法相比,相似边界元法由于只需在少数单元上进行数值积分,大大减少了计算量.对动态断裂力学问题,无限相似边界元法由于在裂纹尖端的边界上设置了逼近于裂纹尖端的无限个相似边界单元,可直接得到裂纹尖端具有奇异性的应力,而不需要设置奇异单元,从而突破了奇异单元对应力奇异性阶次的局限.另外,还讨论了无限相似边界元法得到的无限阶的线性代数方程组的求解方法.  相似文献

An accurate evaluation of strongly singular domain integral appearing in the stress representation formula is a crucial problem in the stress analysis of functionally graded materials using boundary element method.To solve this problem,a singularity separation technique is presented in the paper to split the singular integral into regular and singular parts by subtracting and adding a singular term.The singular domain integral is transformed into a boundary integral using the radial integration method.Analytical expressions of the radial integrals are obtained for two commonly used shear moduli varying with spatial coordinates.The regular domain integral,after expressing the displacements in terms of the radial basis functions,is also transformed to the boundary using the radial integration method.Finally,a boundary element method without internal cells is established for computing the stresses at internal nodes of the functionally graded materials with varying shear modulus.  相似文献

In this paper, explicit boundary‐domain integral equations for evaluating velocity gradients are derived from the basic velocity integral equations. A free term is produced in the new strongly singular integral equation, which is not included in recent formulations using the complex variable differentiation method (CVDM) to compute velocity gradients (Int. J. Numer. Meth. Fluids 2004; 45 :463–484; Int. J. Numer. Meth. Fluids 2005; 47 :19–43). The strongly singular domain integrals involved in the new integral equations are accurately evaluated using the radial integration method (RIM). Considerable computational time for evaluating integrals of velocity gradients can be saved by using present formulation than using CVDM. The formulation derived in this paper together with those presented in reference (Int. J. Numer. Meth. Fluids 2004; 45 :463–484) for 2D and in (Int. J. Numer. Meth. Fluids 2005; 47 :19–43) for 3D problems constitutes a complete boundary‐domain integral equation system for solving full Navier–Stokes equations using primitive variables. 计算效率低的问题长期阻碍着无网格伽辽金法(element-free Galerkin method, EFGM) 的深入发展. 为了提高EFGM 的计算速度, 本文提出一种求解二维弹性力学问题的光滑无网格伽辽金法. 该方法在问题域内采用滑动最小二乘法(moving least square, MLS)近似、在域边界上采用线性插值建立位移场函数; 基于广义梯度光滑算子得到两层嵌套光滑三角形背景网格上的光滑应变, 根据广义光滑伽辽金弱形式建立系统离散方程. 两层嵌套光滑三角形网格是由三角形背景网格本身以及四个等面积三角形子网格组成. 为了提高方法的精度, 由Richardson外推法确定两层光滑网格上的最优光滑应变. 几个数值算例验证了该方法的精度和计算效率. 数值结果表明, 随着光滑积分网格数目的增加, 光滑无网格伽辽金法的计算精度逐步接近EFGM 的, 但计算效率要远远高于EFGM的. 另外, 光滑无网格伽辽金法的边界条件可以像有限元那样直接施加. 从计算精度和效率综合考虑, 光滑无网格伽辽金法比EFGM具有更好的数值表现, 具有十分广阔的发展空间.   相似文献

A new boundary element method is described for calculation of the steady incompressible laminar flows. The method is based on the well-known SIMPLE algorithm. The new boundary element method allows one to find the fields of the pressure and velocity corrections without inner iterations, thus reducing the computational time drastically. This makes it different from the method developed by Patankar and Spalding.32 However, the new method demands a much larger computer strorage. The boundary integral equations are discretized with the help of constant boundary elements and constant cells. The values of the integrals along the boundary elements and the cells for the two-dimensional domain are found analytically. To preserve the stability in the iteration process, under-relaxation for the convection terms is used. This paper gives the results of calculations of the flows between two plane parallel plates at Re = 20 and Re = 200, the flows in a square cavity with a moving upper lid at Re = 1 and Re = 100 and the flow in a plane channel with sudden symmetric expansion at Re =46·6.  相似文献

Thermal effects are well known to manifest themselves as additional volume integral terms in the direct formulation of the boundary integral equation (BIE) for linear elastic solids when using the boundary element method (BEM). This domain integral has been successfully transformed in an exact manner to surface ones only in isotropy and in 2D anisotropy, thereby restoring the BEM as a truly boundary solution technique. The difficulties with extending it to 3D general anisotropic solids lie in the mathematical complexity of the Green’s function and its derivatives for such materials. These quantities are required items in the BEM formulation. In this paper, the exact, analytical transformation of the volume integral associated with thermal effects to surface ones is achieved for a transversely isotropic material using a similar approach which the authors have previously employed for the same task in BEM for 2D general anisotropy. A numerical scheme, however, needs to be employed to evaluate some of the new terms introduced in the surface integrals that arise from this process here. The mathematical soundness of the formulation is demonstrated by a few examples; the numerical results obtained are checked by alternative means, including those obtained from the commercial FEM code, ANSYS.  相似文献

提出了一种光滑积分伪弱形式,将光滑积分拓展至被积函数非偏导项求解。结合光滑应变技术和伪弱形式,可实现有限元系统方程统一光滑积分求解,即对刚度矩阵和质量矩阵中的应变矩阵和形函数矩阵均可进行光滑积分处理,并转化为光滑子域的边界积分。光滑积分伪弱形式与光滑应变技术比较,增加了形函数矩阵不定积分处理过程,且没有降低有限元求解对形函数连续性的要求。不过,伪弱形式改变了单元积分的求解形式,连续质量矩阵求解也无需坐标映射和雅可比矩阵计算。以轴对称二维问题为研究对象,结果表明极度不规则三角形和四边形单元光滑积分伪弱形式在静态和动态有限元方程求解中也具有很好的精度。  相似文献

An efficient dual reciprocity hybrid radial boundary node method is developed for the analysis of Winkler and Pasternak foundation thin plate, in which a hybrid displacement variational principle, radial point interpolation method (RPIM) and dual reciprocity method (DRM) are combined. Firstly, the hybrid displacement variational principle is developed, in which the domain variables are interpolated by two groups of symmetric fundamental solutions, while the boundary variables are interpolated by RPIM instead of the traditional moving least square, and the shape function obtained by RPIM satisfies the delta function property, so boundary conditions can be applied directly. Besides, DRM is exploited to evaluate the particular solutions of inhomogeneous terms, which can be used to transform the domain integrals arising from the inhomogeneous term into equivalent boundary integrals. Finally, some additional equations based on the DRM theory are proposed to overcome the problem that the boundary integral equations are not enough to solve all variables. This method has the advantages of both no element mesh of meshless method and dimensionality reduction of boundary element method. Numerical examples of Winkler and Pasternak foundation plates are given to illustrate that the present method is effective, accurate and it can be further expanded into practical engineering.  相似文献

针对边界元法中高阶单元中几乎奇异积分计算难题,解剖了二维边界元法高阶单元的几何特征,定义源点相对高阶单元的接近度。将高阶单元上奇异积分核函数用近似奇异函数逼近,从而分离出积分核中主导的奇异函数部分,其奇异积分核分解为规则核函 数和奇异核函数两项积分之和。规则核函数用常规高斯数值积分,再对奇异核函数积分导出解析公式,从而建立了一种新的半解析法,用于高阶边界单元上几乎强奇异和超奇异积分计算。给出3个算例,采用边界元法高阶单元的半解析法计算了弹性力学薄体结构和近边界点位移/应力,并与线性边界元正则化算法结果作了比较,结果表明提出的二次元的半解析算法更加有效。特别是分析薄体结构,采用正则化算法的线性边界元分析比有限元有显著优势,而用提出的二次边界元半解析算法分析比其线性元的有效接近度又减小了4个量级。  相似文献

介绍了一种不需要内部网格计算非均匀介质问题的边界元算法.该算法是建立在一种能将任何区域积分转换成边界积分的径向积分转换法基础上,首先用对应各向同性问题的基本解来建立以正规化位移表示的非均质问题的积分方程,然后用径向积分转换法将出现在积分方程中的区域积分转换成边界积分,从而形成不需要使用内部网格来计算区域积分的纯边界元算法.与其它无网格法相比,此方法需要很少的内部点,有些问题甚至不需要内部点都能得到满意的结果,因此,可以计算大型的三维非均匀介质工程问题.由于此方法继承了边界元和无网格算法的优点,因而具有广阔的发展前景.  相似文献

Numerical algorithms are presented which combine spectral expansions on elemental subdomains with boundary integral formulations for solving viscous flow problems. Three distinct algorithms are described. The first demonstrates the use of spectral elements for the classic boundary integral method for steady Stokes flow. The second extends this algorithm to include domain integrals for solution of the unsteady Navier-Stokes equations. The third algorithm explores the use of boundary integrals as a means of consolidating uncoupled elemental solutions in a domain decomposition approach. 准确计算几乎奇异积分是边界元法难题之一。目前,对于一般的高阶单元的几乎奇异积分尚缺乏通用高效的计算方法。本文在单元局部坐标系中表征了二维高阶单元的几何特征,提出了源点相对高阶单元的接近度概念。针对二维位势边界元法的3节点二次等参单元,构造出与单元积分核具有相同几乎奇异性的近似奇异核函数。从二维位势几乎奇异积分单元积分核中扣除近似奇异核函数,把几乎奇异积分项转换为规则积分和奇异积分两部分之和,规则积分部分用常规Gauss数值积分计算,奇异积分部分由导出的解析公式计算,从而建立了二维位势问题高阶单元几乎强奇异和超奇异积分的半解析算法。算例结果表明了本文半解析算法的有效性和计算精度。  相似文献

A variational meshfree method has been developed to evaluate the stress intensity factors of mixed mode crack problems. The stiffness is evaluated by regular domain integrals and shape functions are determined by both the radial basis function (RBF) interpolation and the moving least-square (MLS) method. The stress intensity factors are obtained by two boundary integrals with variation of crack length. Applications of the proposed technique to two-dimensional fracture mechanics have been presented and comparisons are made with benchmark solutions. Finally, the application of the proposed method to modelling fatigue crack growth is presented.  相似文献
