Polyaniline (PANI)/Au composite nanotubes were synthesized and developed as an electrode material for a nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) sensor. A MnO2 self-degradable template method was used to prepare the tube-like PANI nanomaterial. By introducing PANI nanotubes into Au colloid, Au nanoparticles (NPs) were successfully decorated onto the surface of PANI nanotubes through electrostatic effects. The morphology, composition, and optical properties of the resulting products were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis) absorption spectra, and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). In addition, the obtained PANI/Au composites were used as catalysts for the electrochemical oxidation of NADH. Cyclic voltammogram (CV) experiments indicated that PANI/Au-modified glassy carbon electrode showed a higher electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation of NADH in a neutral environment. Differential pulse voltammogram (DPV) results illustrated that the fabricated NADH sensor had excellent anti-interference ability and displayed a wide linear range from 4?×?10?4 to 8?×?10?3 M with a detection limit of 0.5?×?10?7 M.  相似文献

The adsorption and adlayer structures of tetrathiofulvalene (TTF), tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ) and TTF-TCNQ on Au(111) have been systematically investigated by in situ electrochemical scanning tunneling microscopy (ECSTM) and cyclic voltammetry in 0.1 mol L−1 HClO4. All the three molecules were found to form well-ordered adlayers in the double-layer potential region of Au(111). For TTF and TCNQ adlayers, (6×3) and (4×7) structures have been observed, respectively. A structural transition was observed on TCNQ adlayer at potential negative of 0.08 V vs. the reversible hydrogen electrode (RHE), and induced a new phase with (3 × 12) structure. On the other hand, the charge transfer complex, TTF-TCNQ, self-organized into ordered domains with a lamellar structure different from those of the pure TTF and TCNQ adlayers on Au(111). Its packing arrangement was comparable to surface structures of either single crystal or thin film of TTF-TCNQ. CO adlayers on Pt(111) electrode surfaces are an important electrochemical system and of great relevance to electrocatalysis. The potential‐dependent structure and dynamics of these adlayers are complex and still controversial, especially in the CO pre‐oxidation regime. We here employ in situ high‐speed scanning tunneling microscopy for studying the surface phase behavior in CO‐saturated 0.1 m H2SO4 on the millisecond time scale. At potentials near the onset of CO pre‐oxidation local fluctuations in the (2×2)‐CO adlayer are observed, which increase towards more positive potentials. Above 0.20 V (vs. Ag/AgCl), this leads to an adlayer where COad apparently reside on every top site, but still exhibit a (2×2) superstructure modulation. We interpret this observation as a dynamic effect, caused by a small number of highly mobile point defects in the (2×2)‐CO adlayer. As shown by density functional theory calculations, the CO lattice near such defects relaxes into a local (1×1) arrangement, which can rapidly propagate across the surface. This scenario, where a static (2×2) COad sublattice coexists with a highly dynamic sublattice of partially occupied top sites, explains the pronounced COad surface mobility during electrooxidation.  相似文献

The precursor film was first formed on the Au electrode surface based on the self‐assembly of L ‐cysteine and the adsorption of gold colloidal nanoparticles (nano‐Au). Layer‐by‐layer (LBL) assembly films of toluidine blue (TB) and nano‐Au were fabricated by alternately immersing the electrode with precursor film into the solution of toluidine blue and gold colloid. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) and quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) were adopted to monitor the regular growth of {TB/Au} bilayer films. The successful assembly of {TB/Au}n films brings a new strategy for electrochemical devices to construct layer‐by‐layer assembly films of nanomaterials and low molecular weight materials. In this article, {TB/Au}n films were used as model films to fabricate a mediated H2O2 biosensor based on horseradish peroxidase, which responded rapidly to H2O2 in the linear range from 1.5×10?7 mol/L to 8.6×10?3 mol/L with a detection limit of 7.0×10?8 mol/L. Morphologies of the final assembly films were characterized with scanning probe microscopy (SPM).  相似文献

A modified carbon paste electrode was prepared by incorporating the TiO2 nanoparticles in the carbon paste matrix. The electrochemical behavior of gallic acid (GA) is investigated on the surface of the electrode using cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry. The surface morphology of the prepared electrode was characterized using the scanning electron microscopy. The results indicate that the electrochemical response of GA is improved significantly at the modified electrode compared with the unmodified electrode. Furthermore, the capabilities of electron transfer on these two electrodes were also investigated by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. Under the optimized condition, a linear dynamic range of 2.5?×?10?6 to 1.5?×?10?4?mol?L?1 with detection limit of 9.4?×?10?7?mol?L?1 for GA is obtained in buffered solutions with pH 1.7. Finally, the proposed modified electrode was successfully used in real sample analysis.  相似文献

Au/graphene nanocomposites are prepared via a one-pot chemical reduction process at room temperature, using graphene oxide (GO) and chloroauric acid (HAuCl4) as precursors. The obtained Au/graphene nanocomposites are characterized with scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), Raman spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). TEM shows that the Au nanoparticles with size of approximately 8.7 nm disperse randomly on the surface of graphene. XPS confirms that the Au/graphene nanocomposites show a higher atomic percentage of C/O (6.3/1), in contrast to its precursor GO (2.2/1). Electrochemical studies reveal that the Au/graphene nanocomposites have electrochemically active surface area of 9.82 m2 g?1. Besides, the influence of borohydride concentration on the as-prepared Au/graphene nanocomposites is investigated in details by cyclic voltammetry, chronoamperometry, and chronopotentiometry. The results indicate that high concentration of borohydride can significantly improve the electrochemical performance of the Au/graphene catalyst.  相似文献

The adsorption of a variety of fullerenes (C60, C70, C86, Y@C82) on Au(111) electrode surfaces was comprehensively investigated in 0.1 M HClO4 by electrochemical scanning tunneling microscopy (ECSTM). In the ordered C60’s adlayer, C60 molecules formed either (2 $ \sqrt 3 $ ×2 $ \sqrt 3 $ ) or “in-phase” structure. The high resolution STM image shows that the C60 cage is not simply round but shows a bifurcated feature. The adsorption orientation of C60 on Au(111) is tentatively suggested. In the ordered C70’s adlayer, the perpendicular fullerene molecules are the main adsorption mode and form (2 $ \sqrt 3 $ ×2 $ \sqrt 3 $ ) structure. However, for C86 and Y@C82, the ordered adlayer could not be obtained on Au(111) under the present condition. These differences may be due to the different molecular shapes and sizes, and the encapsulated metal atom which affects the lattice matches with the substrate. The adsorption of fullerene molecules on Au(111) from disorder to order could be tuned simply by steering the dimensional sizes or shapes of the fullerenes used.  相似文献

Column electrodes pretreated through oxidation–reduction cycles were traditionally used in electrochemical surface‐enhanced Raman scattering (SERS). In this study, a disposable screen‐printed carbon electrode was introduced into in situ electrochemical SERS through the electrodeposition of dendritic gold/silver nanoparticles (Au/AgNPs) onto the surface of the carbon working electrode to induce the SERS enhancement effect on the electrode. Scanning electron microscopy images showed that dendritic Au/AgNPs nanostructures could be fabricated under appropriate electrodeposition conditions and could present a minimum SERS factor of 4.25 × 105. Furthermore, the absorbed behavior of 4‐mercaptopyridine was investigated under different potentials. The adsorption configuration was inferred to transform from ‘vertical’ to ‘lying‐flat’. The proposed new electrode combined with a portable Raman spectrometer could be useful in the identifying products or intermediates during electrochemical synthesis or electrochemical catalysis in in situ electrochemical SERS. The adsorption of methylviologen dications (MV2+) on single‐crystalline Au electrodes in both H2SO4 and HClO4 was examined. MV2+ strongly interacted with sulfate and bisulfate anions adsorbed on the Au(111) electrode surface in 0.05 M H2SO4 under a controlled potential of 1.25 V vs. the reversible hydrogen electrode (RHE). A characteristic non‐Faradaic current was observed at 1.10 V vs. RHE. When adsorption of MV2+ was carried out in 0.1 M HClO4, the electrochemical response of MV2+ was less than that obtained in H2SO4. The results show that the formation of a highly ordered sulfate/bisulfate adlayer plays an important role in the formation of condensed MV2+ layers. Examination of polycrystalline Au and Au(100) electrodes revealed a poor electrochemical response due to the surface roughness of the Au substrate, but the electrochemical detection was applicable to polycrystalline Au electrodes. A systematic investigation of the structural dependency of viologen derivatives showed that molecular size is important for electrostatic interactions with a highly ordered sulfate/bisulfate adlayer. The findings of the present study demonstrate successful detection of MV2+ at a concentration of ≤1 pM with a non‐Faradaic current.  相似文献

Multifunctional Bi- and Fe-modified carbon xerogel composites (CXBiFe), with different Fe concentrations, were obtained by a resorcinol–formaldehyde sol–gel method, followed by drying in ambient conditions and pyrolysis treatment. The morphological and structural characterization performed by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, N2 adsorption/desorption porosimetry, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and scanning/transmission electron microscopy (STEM) analyses, indicates the formation of carbon-based nanocomposites with integrated Bi and Fe oxide nanoparticles. At higher Fe concentrations, Bi-Fe-O interactions lead to the formation of hybrid nanostructures and off-stoichiometric Bi2Fe4O9 mullite-like structures together with an excess of iron oxide nanoparticles. To examine the effect of the Fe content on the electrochemical performance of the CXBiFe composites, the obtained powders were initially dispersed in a chitosan solution and applied on the surface of glassy carbon electrodes. Then, the multifunctional character of the CXBiFe systems is assessed by involving the obtained modified electrodes for the detection of different analytes, such as biomarkers (hydrogen peroxide) and heavy metal ions (i.e., Pb2+). The achieved results indicate a drop in the detection limit for H2O2 as Fe content increases. Even though the current results suggest that the surface modifications of the Bi phase with Fe and O impurities lower Pb2+ detection efficiencies, Pb2+ sensing well below the admitted concentrations for drinkable water is also noticed.  相似文献

In this study, the carbon nanotube supported gold, bismuth, and gold-bismuth(Au/MWCNT, Bi/MWCNT, and Au-Bi/MWCNT) nanocatalysts were prepared with NaBH4 reduction method at varying molar atomic ratio for glucose electrooxidation (GAEO). The synthesized nanocatalysts at different Au: Bi atomic ratios are characterized via x - ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and N2 adsorption-desorption. For the performance of AuBi/MWCNT for GAEO, electrochemical measurements are performed by using different electrochemical techniques namely cyclic voltammetry (CV), linear sweep voltammetry (LSV), chronoamperometry (CA), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Monometallic Au/MWCNT exhibits higher activity than Bi/MWCNT with 256.57 mA/mg (0.936 mA/cm2) current density. According to CV results, Au80Bi20/MWCNT nanocatalyst has the highest GAEO activity with the mass activity of 320.15 mA/mg (1.133 mA/cm2). For Au80Bi20/MWCNT, central composite design (CCD) is utilized for optimum conditions of the electrode preparation. Au80Bi20/MWCNT nanocatalysts are promising anode nanocatalysts for direct glucose fuel cells (DGFCs).  相似文献

It is significant to develop a point-of-care testing (POCT) method for rapid detection of medicinal molecules. In this paper, a graphdiyne (GDY)-ionic liquid (IL) composite was prepared via one-step facile ultrasound preparation process and then modified on gold (Au) electrode surface by simple casting method. Scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy were used to characterize the morphology of GDY-IL composite. Cyclic voltammetric results proved that GDY-IL composite on the electrode surface could effectively improve electron transfer rate, which meant that GDY-IL composite had high conductivity with big surface area. Finally, the modified electrode exhibited excellent performances for rutin detection with wider linear range (8.0×10−9 mol L−1–2.0×10−6 mol L−1 and 2.0×10−6 mol L−1–1.5×10−4 mol L−1) and lower detection limit (2.7 nmol L−1, 3S0/S). The Nafion/GDY-IL/Au electrode showed good sensitivity and high selectivity, which was satisfactory in analytical application to real samples. Therefore, the GDY-IL composite modified electrode has the potential applications in the POCT for electrochemical analysis of various medicinal molecules.  相似文献

The structure for a 4-pyridinethiolate monolayer chemisorbed on the Au(100)-(1×1) single crystal surface was characterized by in situ scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) and cyclic voltammetry (CV). In situ STM observation showed a well-ordered p(√2 R 45°×5 R 53.1°) structure (abbreviated as √2×5) for the surface modified with either 4-pyridinethiol (4-PySH) or bis(4-pyridyl)disulfide (4,4′-PySSPy) in a 0.05 M HClO4 solution. On the Au(100)-(1×1) surface, 4-PySH molecules formed a dimer structure with the S–S bond length of about 2.4 nm. The observed dimer structure is similar to that previously reported on the Au(111) surface, and the orientation of the pyridine ring is mostly perpendicular to the surface normal. However, the adsorbed molecules were more densely packed (√3/√2 times) on the Au(100) surface than on the Au(111) surface. The surface excess was estimated to be 5.8 (±0.2)×10−10 mol cm−2 based on the voltammetric charge for the reductive desorption. This value is in good agreement with that (5.7×10−10 mol cm−2) calculated from the parallelogrammic (√2×5) unit cell. The Au(100)-(1×1) surface modified with 4-PySH gave a well-defined electrochemical response of cytochrome c.  相似文献

In this work, an enzyme biosensor based on the immobilization of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) on SiO2/BSA/Au/thionine/nafion-modified gold electrode was fabricated successfully. Firstly, nafion was dropped on the surface of the gold electrode to form a nafion film followed by chemisorption of thionine (Thi) as an electron mediator via the ion-exchange interaction between the Thi and nafion. Subsequently, the SiO2/BSA/Au composite nanoparticles were assembled onto Thi film through the covalent bounding with the amino groups of Thi. Finally, HRP was immobilized on the SiO2/BSA/Au composite nanoparticles due to the covalent conjugation to construct an enzyme biosensor. The surface topographies of the SiO2/BSA/Au composite nanoparticles were investigated by using scanning electronic microscopy. The stepwise self-assemble procedure of the biosensor was further characterized by means of cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry. The enzyme biosensor showed high sensitivity, good stability and selectivity, a wide linear response to hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in the range of 8.0 × 10-6 ∼ 3.72 × 10-3 mol/L, with a detection limit of 2.0 × 10-6 mol/L. The Michaelies-Menten constant KMapp K_M^{app} value was estimated to be 2.3 mM.  相似文献

Au nanoparticles dispersed ZrO2 thin films were prepared from two precursors HAuCl4·4H2O and ZrOCl2·8H2O in air. The structural properties and size of Au particle in ZrO2 film were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The surface analysis with atomic force microscopy (AFM) showed the effect of monoethanolamine on preventing the migration of Au particles to the surface. The absorption peak of Au particles by the surface plasma resonance was observed and the red shift of absorption peak was discussed.  相似文献

A combination of photocathodic stripping and precipitation was used to prepare CdTe nanoparticles (size range: 30–60 nm) that were immobilized on a polycrystalline Au substrate. Thus visible light irradiation of a Te modified Au surface generated Te2− species in situ followed by interfacial reaction with added Cd2+ ions in 0.1 M Na2SO4 electrolyte. The resultant CdTe compound semiconductor deposited as nanosized particles uniformly dispersed on the Au substrate surface. This approach to CdTe nanoparticle deposition was monitored by a combination of electrochemical methods (voltammetry, chronoamperometry) and quartz crystal microgravimetry in the “dark” and under illumination. The synthesized CdTe nanoparticles were characterized by scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray analyses and laser Raman spectroscopy.  相似文献

A biosensor for hydrogen peroxide was constructed by immobilizing horseradish peroxidase on chitosan-wrapped NiFe2O4 nanoparticles on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE). The electron mediator carboxyferrocene was also immobilized on the surface of the GCE. UV?Cvis spectra, Fourier transform IR spectra, scanning electron microscopy, and electrochemical impedance spectra were acquired to characterize the biosensor. The experimental conditions were studied and optimized. The biosensor responds linearly to H2O2 in the range from 1.0?×?10?5 to 2.0?×?10?3?M and with a detection limit of 2.0?×?10?6?M (at S/N?=?3).

A novel electrochemical non-enzymatic glucose sensor based on three-dimensional Au/MXene nanocomposites was developed. MXenes were prepared using the mild etched method, and the porous foam of Au nanoparticles was combined with the MXene by means of in situ synthesis. By controlling the mass of MXene in the synthesis process, porous foam with Au nanoparticles was obtained. The three-dimensional foam structure of nanoparticles was confirmed by scanning electron microscopy. Cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy were used to study the electrochemical performance of the Au/MXene nanocomposites. The Au/MXene nanocomposites acted as a fast redox probe for non-enzymatic glucose oxidation and showed good performance, including a high sensitivity of 22.45 μA\begin{document}$\cdot$\end{document}(mmol/L)\begin{document}$^{-1}$\end{document}\begin{document}$\cdot$\end{document}cm\begin{document}$^{-1}$\end{document} and a wide linear range of 1-12 mmol/L. Studies have shown that MXene as a catalyst-supported material is beneficial to enhance the conductivity of electrons and increase the loading rate of the catalyst materials. The foam structure with Au nanoparticles can provide a larger surface area, increase the contact area with the molecule in the catalytic reaction, and enhance the electrochemical reaction signal. In summary, this study shows that Au/MXene nanoparticles have the potential to be used in non-enzymatic glucose sensors.  相似文献

A novel electrode was prepared by implanting NH2 + into an ITO film (NH2/ITO). Gold nanoparticles were deposited on the surface of NH2/ITO electrode. The NH2/ITO and Au/NH2/ITO electrodes were used to determine hemoglobin (Hb) immobilized on the electrodes surfaces. The relationship of the reductive peak current value of Hb among different electrodes was: Hb/ITO:Hb/Au/ITO:Hb/NH2/ITO:Hb/Au/NH2/ITO=1:1.5:2:4. The linkage between the –NH2 implanted into ITO film and the –COOH of Hb was recognized to be the reason for the increase of active Hb coverage on NH2/ITO electrode compared with the ITO electrode. Increase of active Hb coverage on Au/NH2/ITO compared with Au/ITO was attributed to the different amount of gold nanoparticles deposited. The determination of Hb at an Au/NH2/ITO electrode was optimized. Calibration curve was obtained over the range of 1.0 × 10−8 – 1.0 × 10−6 mol · L−1 with a detection limit of 1.0 × 10−8 mol · L−1. Results showed that the novel NH2/ITO and Au/NH2/ITO electrodes exhibited good stability, reproducibility besides better electrochemical performance.
