The effect of the generation of stimulated Raman scattering in monoclinic niobate LaNbO4, which is known as a base crystal for lasant ions Ln3+, has been discovered. The χ(3) nonlinear Stokes and anti-Stokes biphonon lasing of this niobate has been studied under picosecond excitation.  相似文献

The discovery of stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) in a CsLa(WO4)2 crystal and the first results of studying its steady-state χ(3)-nonlinear generation within the visible wavelength range are reported. This result has imparted the status of a multifunctional crystal with laser (with generating Ln3+ ions) and SRS-potential to tetragonal cesium-lanthanum tungstate.  相似文献

A theoretical phase diagram of the [N(CH3)4]2CuCl4 crystal with a new commensurate phase characterized by a dimensionless wavenumber q = 2/5 is constructed on a plane specified by two coefficients of the thermodynamic potential. This diagram is used as the basis for the construction of a theoretical pressure-temperature (P-T) phase diagram. The theoretical P-T phase diagram thus obtained is compared with the experimental P-T phase diagram.  相似文献

We report on a continuous-wave Nd:YVO4 oscillator at 1342 nm based on the combination of a grown-together composite crystal YVO4/Nd:YVO4/YVO4 and the 888 nm diode-laser direct pumping for the first time. At the absorbed pump power of 102 W, a maximum average output power of 37.2 W at 1342 nm was obtained, corresponding to an optical-optical conversion efficiency of 36.5% and a high slope efficiency of 63.0%, respectively. To the best of our knowledge, this is the highest output power ever obtained for a 1342 nm Nd:YVO4 oscillator.  相似文献

The formation of a new commensurate phase with a dimensionless wave number q = 1/3 in an [N(CH3)4]2CuCl4 crystal under the action of an external electric field is analyzed theoretically. Output power dependences of composite Nd3+:YVO4 Raman laser stationary generation on the longitudinal diode pump power are measured at different transmissions of the output mirror at the Stokes radiation frequency. The deviation of the measured dependences from linear is explained by the influence of thermal effects on both the overlap of the beams and diffraction losses. A method to estimate the laser and Stokes losses in the cavity and the parameters characterizing the overlap of the laser radiation with the pump and Stokes beams is proposed. A Stokes-component of power 2.1 W is obtained and corresponds to 12% diode-to-Stokes efficiency.  相似文献

The time dependences of polarization of K0.88(NH4)0.12H2PO4 mixed crystal have been studied within the temperature range of 74–100 K. Two mechanisms of polarization relaxation were found. The first mechanism is caused by domain walls lateral motion and their interaction with point lattice defects. The second one supposedly is due to polar regions infiltration through the regions of frustrated paraelectric phase.  相似文献

Temperature dependences of a complex dielectric permittivity of lithium ammonium sulphate LiNH4SO4 monocrystal in a frequency range of 3–26 GHz were studied using technique of the cylindrical slot-hole resonator. Passively Q-switched yellow output from a frequency-doubled self-stimulating Raman composite Nd:YVO4/YVO4 laser using a Cr:YAG saturable absorber is reported. Maximum yellow output power of 264 mW was obtained with corresponding diode to yellow conversion efficiency of 5.9%.  相似文献

The magnetic properties of (CH3NH3)2CuBr4 quasi-two-dimensional crystals were studied experimentally. The magnetic-field and temperature dependences of magnetization were measured for various magnetic field orientations relative to the crystallographic axes. The magnetic properties of the Nd0.5Gd0.5Fe3(BO3)4 single crystal have been studied in principal crystallographic directions in magnetic fields to 90 kG in the temperature range 2–300 K; in addition, the heat capacity has been measured in the range 2–300 K. It has been found that, below the Néel temperature T N = 32 K down to 2 K, the single crystal exhibits an easy-plane antiferromagnetic structure. A hysteresis has been detected during magnetization of the crystal in the easy plane in fields of 1.0–3.5 kG, and a singularity has been found in the temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility in the easy plane at a temperature of 11 K in fields B < 1 kG. It has been shown that the singularity is due to appearance of the hysteresis. The origin of the magnetic properties of the crystal near the hysteresis has been discussed.  相似文献

The ab initio FLAPW-GGA calculations of the band structure of a new layered low-temperature (T C ~ 2.2 K) La3Ni4P4O2 superconductor are presented. The energy bands, distributions of the densities of electron states, charge states of the atomic layers, low-temperature electron specific heat, and molar Pauli paramagnetic susceptibility for La3Ni4P4O2 have been determined. The nonlinear microwave absorption in the (CH3NH3)2CuBr4 antiferromagnetic crystal is investigated experimentally. The temperature and angular dependences of the parameters of nonlinear resonance and the dependences of these parameters on the microwave pump power are analyzed. It is found that the nonlinear properties deteriorate with decreasing temperature and the linear and nonlinear contributions are competitive in character.  相似文献

The transmission spectra of HoFe3(BO3) multiferroic single crystals are studied by optical Fourier-transform spectroscopy at temperatures of 1.7–423 K in polarized light in the spectral range 500–10 000 cm–1 with a resolution up to 0.1 cm–1. A new first-order structural phase transition close to the second-order transition is recorded at Tc = 360 K by the appearance of a new phonon mode at 976 cm–1. The reasons for considerable differences in Tc for different samples of holmium ferroborate are discussed. By temperature variations in the spectra of the f–f transitions in the Ho3+ ion, we studied two magnetic phase transitions, namely, magnetic ordering into an easy-plane structure as a second-order phase transition at TN = 39 K and spin reorientation from the ab plane to the c axis as a first-order phase transition at TSR = 4.7 ± 0.2 K. It is shown that erbium impurity in a concentration of 1 at % decreases the spin-reorientation transition temperature to TSR = 4.0 K.  相似文献

This paper reports on the results of acoustic investigations of a NaBi(MoO4)2 crystal in the temperature range from 20 to 70°C. The temperature dependences of the velocity of longitudinal ultrasonic waves propagating along the crystallographic axes z and x are measured at a frequency of 4 MHz. The results obtained demonstrate that a structural phase transition occurs in the NaBi(MoO4)2 crystal at a temperature of 309 K. The experimental findings are consistent with the assumption that the observed phase transition is either a second-order ferroelastic transition or a first-order ferroelastic transition that is very close to being a second-order phase transition.  相似文献

By using a piece of single-walled carbon nanotube saturable absorber, the performance of the passively Q-switched composite Nd:YVO4 laser has been demonstrated for the first time. The maximum average output power and the shortest pulse width are 1220 mW and 103 ns at the incident pump power of 5.04 W for a 10% transmission of the output coupler. The highest pulse repetition rate of 415.6 kHz and the largest single-pulse energy of 2.94 μJ are also obtained. The composite Nd:YVO4 crystal has more excellent laser performance than the normal Nd:YVO4 crystal at 1064 nm.  相似文献

The conductivity and heat capacity of tripotassium hydrogen trisulfate single crystals were studied. It was shown that these single crystals undergo a solid-solid phase transformation upon heating with the formation of new phases, and that their properties change considerably. Anomalies related to the sorption and desorption of water vapor were observed in the formed multiphase system. Such anomalies were observed for the first time in measurements of the true heat capacity.  相似文献

The non-linear optical (NLO) crystal LaCa4 O(BO3)3 (LaCOB ) has been grown by the Czochralski method. X-ray diffraction experiments show that LaCOB crystal possesses the space group Cm, and its unit cell constants have been measured to be a=0.8168(3) nm,b=1.6081(7) nm and c=0.3630(6) nm, with an angle =101.39°. The thermal properties of LaCOB have been studied; the specific heat of the crystal is 321.9 J/molK at 330 K, and the three principal coefficients of thermal expansion of the principal axes have been calculated from the measured data to be 5.61×10-6 K-1, 7.21×10-6 K-1 and 11.01×10-6 K-1, respectively. The transmission spectrum shows that LaCOB crystal has a wide transparency wavelength range, and may be used as a NLO crystal. PACS 81.10.Fq; 65.40.Ba; 65.40.De  相似文献

Lithium terbium molybdate (LiTb(MoO4)2) single crystal was grown by the Czochralski method. The lattice parameters of the crystal were determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. The absorption coefficient and the Faraday rotation spectrum (B=1.07 T) were investigated at wavelengths of 400–1500 nm at room temperature. Verdet constants of LiTb(MoO4)2 crystal at 532-, 633- and 1064-nm wavelengths were measured by the extinction method. The results show that LiTb(MoO4)2 crystal has a larger magneto-optical figure of merit than that of terbium gallium garnet at wavelengths of 600–1500 nm.  相似文献

Magnetic and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) properties of EuFe3(BO3)4 single crystals have been studied over the temperature range of 300–4.2 K and in a magnetic field up to 5 T. The temperature, field and orientation dependences of susceptibility, magnetization and EPR spectra are presented. An antiferromagnetic ordering of the Fe subsystem occurs at about 37 K. The easy direction of magnetization perpendicular to the c axis is determined by magnetic measurements. Below 10 K, we observe an increase of susceptibility connected with the polarization of the Eu sublattice by an effective exchange field of the ordered Fe magnetic subsystem. In a magnetic field perpendicular to the c axis, we have observed an increase of magnetization at T < 10 K in the applied magnetic field, which can be attributed to the appearance of the magnetic moment induced by the magnetic field applied in the basal plane. According to EPR measurements, the distance between the maximum and minimum of derivative of absorption line of the Lorentz type is equal to 319 Gs. The anisotropy of g-factor and linewidth is due to the influence of crystalline field of trigonal symmetry. The peculiarities of temperature dependence of both intensity and linewidth are caused by the influence of excited states of europium ion (Eu3+). It is supposed that the difference between the g-factors from EPR and the magnetic measurements is caused by exchange interaction between rare earth and Fe subsystems via anomalous Zeeman effect.  相似文献
