The magnetostructural phase transformation and shape memory effect (SME) of Fe-added Ni2MnGa films were investigated. The free-standing films were heat-treated at 1073 K for 3.6 ks and constraint-aged (CA) at various conditions (473 ~ 723 K, 0 ~ 14.4 ks) to make the two-way SME. The reversible two-way SME by the temperature change was confirmed through the martensitic transformation (MT) and its reversion. The gradient of strain-temperature curve, the effective recovery strain and the width of thermal hysteresis were dependent on the CA conditions. The magnetic field (MF) induced structural phase transformation was evaluated by an XRD apparatus in high MF up to 5 T. It was confirmed that the martensitic phase was stabilized by the MF. Furthermore, the SME by the MF was observed around MT temperature on cooling process for the CA film. It was concluded that the MF induced SME appeared by the induction of the MT with MF.  相似文献

The I–V characteristics of bulk As40Te60-xSex and As35Te65-xSex glasses have been studied with a current sweep of 0–18 mA-0, over a wide range of compositions (4≤x≤22). All the glasses studied showed a threshold electrical switching behaviour. The number of switching cycles withstood by the samples has been found to depend on the ON-state current. It is seen that the switching voltages increase with increase in selenium content. Further, the switching voltages are found to be almost independent of the thickness of the sample (d), in the range 0.18–0.3 mm. Also, the switching voltages and the number of switching cycles withstood by the samples are found to decrease with temperature. Superconductivity was achieved in Ti-doped iron-arsenide compound Sr4Cr0.8Ti1.2O6Fe2As2 (abbreviated as Cr-FeAs-42622). The X-ray diffraction measurement shows that this material has a layered structure with the space group of P4/nmm, and with the lattice constants a = b = 3.9003 Å and c = 15.8376 Å. Clear diamagnetic signals in ac susceptibility data and zero-resistance in resistivity data were detected at about 6 K, confirming the occurrence of bulk superconductivity. Meanwhile we observed a superconducting transition in the resistive data with the onset transition temperature at 29.2 K, which may be induced by the nonuniform distribution of the Cr/Ti content in the FeAs-42622 phase.  相似文献

Measurements of magnetic and transport properties were performed on needle-shaped single crystals of Ce12Fe57.5As41 and La12Fe57.5As41. The availability of a complete set of data enabled a side-by-side comparison between these two rare earth compounds. Both compounds exhibited multiple magnetic orders within 2–300 K and metamagnetic transitions at various fields. Ferromagnetic transitions with Curie temperatures of 100 and 125 K were found for Ce12Fe57.5As41 and La12Fe57.5As41, respectively, followed by antiferromagnetic type spin reorientations near Curie temperatures. The magnetic properties underwent complex evolution in the magnetic field for both compounds. An antiferromagnetic phase transition at about 60 K and 0.2 T was observed merely for Ce12Fe57.5As41. The field-induced magnetic phase transition occurred from antiferromagnetic to ferromagnetic structure. A strong magnetocrystalline anisotropy was evident from magnetization measurements of Ce12Fe57.5As41. A temperature-field phase diagram was present for these two rare earth systems. In addition, a logarithmic temperature dependence of electrical resistivity was observed in the two compounds within a large temperature range of 150–300 K, which is rarely found in 3D-based compounds. It may be related to Kondo scattering described by independent localized Fe 3d moments interacting with conduction electrons.  相似文献

Specific features of the magnetic properties and magnetic dynamics of isolated phase separation domains in GdMn2O5 and Gd0.8Ce0.2Mn2O5 have been investigated. These domains represent 1D superlattices consisting of dielectric and conducting layers with the ferromagnetic orientation of their spins. A set of ferromagnetic resonances of separate superlattice layers has been studied. The properties of the 1D superlattices in GdMn2O5 and Gd0.8Ce0.2Mn2O5 are compared with the properties of the previously investigated RMn2O5 (R = Eu, Tb, Er, and Bi) series. The similarity of the properties for all the RMn2O5 compounds with different R ion types is established. Based on the concepts of the magnetic dynamics of ferromagnetic multilayers and properties of semiconductor superlattices, a 1D model of the superlattices in RMn2O5 is built.  相似文献

Metastable solid solutions (SS) Mn3FeTiSbO9 and Mn4FeTi2SbO12 with the ilmenite structure (space group R\(\bar 3\)) have been prepared by quenching at normal conditions. The compositions of the compounds have been justified using EDX spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction. The magnetic properties of SSs have been analyzed by comparison with ferrimagnetic ilmenite Mn2FeSbO6 (TN = 269 K) as a natural mineral and ceramics obtained at high pressure and high temperature. The solid solutions have been characterized as dilute magnetic systems formed as a result of substitution of nonmagnetic cations Ti4+ for a part of Fe3+ and Sb5+ cations. Mn3FeTiSbO9 is considered as a ferromagnetic with TN = 171 K and Mn4FeTi2SbO12 as a magnetic with the concentration of magnetic clusters below the percolation threshold.  相似文献

Spin-wave resonances have been observed in superlattices arising due to the phase separation and self-organization of charge carriers in Eu0.8Ce0.2Mn2O5 single crystals. The resonances are found within the 5–80 K temperature range at frequencies close to 30 GHz. Similar resonances with intensities about an order of magnitude lower are also observed in EuMn2O5. The latter suggests the existence of charge transfer processes between the manganese ions of different valences in EuMn2O5.  相似文献

Ferroelectric ceramics with formula Pb0.8Ba0.2[(In1/2Nb1/2)1-xTix]O3 (PBINT) (x=0.0,0.1,0.2,0.3,0.4 and 0.5) were prepared via a two-step solid state reaction method. It was found that ceramics with compositions in the range of x=0.0∼0.3 showed a pseudo-cubic structure, whereas the ceramic with x=0.5 displayed a tetragonal structure. All compositions showed significant frequency dispersion in their dielectric properties. The remanent polarization Pr as well as the coercive field Ec, measured at room temperature, increases with the Ti content. The experimental results obtained in this system are summarized into a phase diagram, with the morphotropic phase boundary (MPB) located at x=0.4. Compared with the Pb[(In1/2Nb1/2)1-xTix]O3 solid solution system, incorporating Ba in the A-site leads to a significant decrease in the dielectric maximum temperature Tmax, a suppression of the dielectric relaxation parameter γ, and a shift of the MPB composition to a higher Ti content. The ferrimagnetic compounds Ca(CuxMn3?x)Mn4O12 of the double distorted perovskites AC3B4O12 family exhibit a rapid increase of the ferromagnetic component in magnetization at partial substitution of square coordinated (Mn3+)C for (Cu2+)C. In the transport properties, this is seen as a change of the semiconducting type of resistivity for the metallic one. The evolution of magnetic properties of Ca(CuxMn3?x)Mn4O12 is driven by strong antiferromagnetic exchange interaction of (Cu2+)C with (Mn3+/Mn4+)B coordinated octahedra. The competing interactions of (Mn3+)C with (Mn3+/Mn4+)B lead to the formation of noncollinear magnetic structures that can be aligned by magnetic fields.  相似文献

The Li[Li0.2Mn0.54Ni0.13Co0.13]O2 coated with CeO2 has been fabricated by an ionic interfusion method. Both the bare and the CeO2-coated samples have a typical layered structure with R-3m and C2/m space group. The results of XRD and TEM images display that the CeO2 coating layer on the precursor could enhance the growth of electrochemically active surface planes ((010), (110), and (100) planes) in the following ionic interfusion process. The results of galvanostatic cycling tests demonstrate that the CeO2-coated sample has a discharge capacity of 261.81 mAh g?1 with an increased initial Coulombic efficiency from 62.4 to 69.1% at 0.05 °C compared with that of bare sample and delivers an improved capacity retention from 71.7 to 83.4% after 100 cycles at 1 °C (1 °C?=?250 mA g?1). The results of electrochemical performances confirm that the surface modification sample exhibits less capacity fading, lower voltage decay, and less polarization.  相似文献

The structure of an LiNi0.4Fe0.6O2 cubic solid solution is determined using magnetic measurements and electron diffraction. It is found that this solid solution has a microinhomogeneous structure due to the formation of superparamagnetic clusters. The electron diffraction analysis of LiNi0.4Fe0.6O2 samples has revealed diffuse scattering characteristic of the substitutional short-range order in ordered solid solutions with a B1-type structure. It is shown that the short-range order is associated with the LiNiO2-type rhombohedral superstructure (space group \(R\bar 3m\)), i.e., with the redistribution of lithium and nickel atoms in the (111)B1 alternating planes. The short-range order is observed in regions with a nickel content higher than the mean nickel content corresponding to the macroscopic composition.  相似文献

A new member of the family of garnets with fast lithium ion conduction has been found with the composition Li7La3Hf2O12. The anion arrangement corresponds to the oxygen framework in garnets, e.g., in Ca3Fe2Si3O12. Hafnium is coordinated octahedrally while the lanthanum environment can be described as a distorted cube. Lithium occupies a large number of positions with tetrahedral, trigonal planar, and metaprismatic coordination. Li7La3Hf2O12 shows a lithium bulk ion conductivity of 2.4 × 10−4 Ω−1 cm−1 at room temperature with an activation energy of 0.29 eV.  相似文献

The optical, magnetooptical (Kerr effect and magnetotransmission), and magnetotransport properties of La2/3Ca1/3MnO3/La2/3Sr1/3MnO3 and La2/3Ca1/3MnO3/SrTiO3/La2/3Sr1/3MnO3 heterostructures on SrTiO3 substrates are studied. The contribution of the interface boundary to the magnetotransmission is typical of a material with a transitional composition. It is found that a 2-nm-thick SrTiO3 spacer does not influence the shape and position of the magnetotransmission peak in a field normal to the surface of the heterostructure but increases the contribution of the upper layer to the magnetotransmission in the Voigt geometry and also enhances the magnetoresistance that is due to the tunneling of spin-polarized carriers through the spacer. The Kerr spectra taken of the heterostructures are typical of single-layer single-crystal films.  相似文献

Single crystals of Eu0.62Bi0.38MnO3 and Eu0.53Bi0.32Sr0.15MnO3 solid solutions crystallizing in an orthorhombically distorted perovskite structure were prepared. At temperatures above 120 K, Eu0.62Bi0.38MnO3 exhibits the properties of structural glass while remaining a dielectric at all temperatures. There is no long-range magnetic order in this compound. Eu0.53Bi0.32Sr0.15MnO3 behaves as a semiconductor above 120 K and exhibits a jump in conductivity at T = 175 K associated with a metal-insulator transition occurring within limited regions of the crystal. In these regions, there appears a ferromagnetic moment (due to double exchange mediated by charge carriers) and local electric polarization.  相似文献

The layered Li1.2Mn0.54Ni0.13Co0.13O2 lithium-rich manganese-based solid solution cathode material has been synthesized by a simple solid-state method. The as-prepared material has a typical layered structure with R-3m and C2/m space group. The synthesized Li1.2Mn0.54Ni0.13Co0.13O2 has an irregular shape with the size range from 200 to 500 nm, and the primary particle of Li1.2Mn0.54Ni0.13Co0.13O2 has regular sphere morphology with a diameter of 320 nm. Electrochemical performances also have been investigated. The results show that the cathode material Li1.2Mn0.54Ni0.13Co0.13O2 prepared at 900 °C for 12 h has a good electrochemical performance, which can deliver a high initial discharge capacity of 233.5, 214.2, 199.3, and 168.1 mAh g?1 at 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, and 1 C, respectively. After 50 cycles, the capacity retains 178.0, 166.3, 162.1, and 155.9 mAh g?1 at 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, and 1 C, respectively. The results indicate that the simple method has a great potential in synthesizing manganese-based cathode materials for Li-ion batteries.  相似文献

The magnetic properties of the binuclear nitrosyl-iron complexes Fe2(SC3H5N2)2(NO)4 are investigated. It is demonstrated that several types of particles, such as dimers with a pair of spins 1/2, dimers with a pair of spins 5/2, and paramagnetic particles with spin 3/2, make a contribution to the magnetic properties of the complexes. A decrease in the temperature below 25 K leads to a change in the shape of the EPR spectra corresponding to these dimers, so that Lorentzian lines (homogeneous broadening) transform into Gaussian lines (inhomogeneous broadening). This is accompanied by a stepwise change in the EPR line width and g factors. The change in the line shape indicates that complexes become asymmetric at low temperatures, possibly, due to the decrease in the spin exchange frequency below the frequency of the microwave field of the spectrometer.  相似文献

Microstructures and impedance characteristics of chemical-solution-derived Bi3.15Nd0.85Ti3O12 thin films were studied as functions of temperature. A dielectric anomaly was found at around 450°C, corresponding to the paraelectric to ferroelectric transition. Via complex impedance studies, grain and grain boundary contributions to the impedance were separated. The resistance of grain and grain boundaries is found governed by the same kind of space charge with an activation energy around 1.1 eV, close to that of oxygen vacancies in perovskite ferroelectrics. The low temperature ac conductance of BNdT thin films shows a frequency dispersion, which can also be ascribed to space charges mainly due to oxygen vacancies. The results were compared with SrBi2Ta2O9 in terms of oxygen vacancy conductivity.  相似文献

It is demonstrated that 50% substitution of vanadium for molybdenum in the pyrochlore lattice of the complex oxide Y2(V x Mo1 ? x )2O7 results in a transition from the spin-glass ground state (at x = 0) to the ferromagnetic state in Y2VMoO7 (a = 10.1645(2) Å, T C = 55 K). The Gd2V0.67Mo1.33O7 compound (a = 10.2862(3) Å) is a ferromagnet with T C (84 K) exceeding that of undoped Gd2MnO2O7.  相似文献

Textured LixNi2-xO (LNO) thin films have been fabricated on (001)MgO substrates by pulsed laser deposition technique. The as-deposited LNO films shows a conductivity of 2.5×10-3 Ω m and possess a transmittance of about 35% in the visible region. Subsequent deposition of Sr0.6Ba0.4Nb2O6 (SBN60) thin film on these LNO-coated MgO substrates resulted in a textured SBN layer with a 〈001〉 orientation perpendicular to the substrate plane. Phi scans on the (221) plane of the SBN layer indicated that the films have two in-plane orientations with respect to the substrate. The SBN unit cells were rotated in the plane of the film by ± 8.2° as well as ± 45° with respect to the LNO/MgO substrate. Besides the highly (00l)-orientation, the SBN films also exhibited a dense microstructure as shown by scanning electron microscopy. The electro-optic coefficient (r33) of the SBN film was measured to be 186 pm/V. On the basis of our results, we have demonstrated that the LNO film can be used as a buffer layer as well as a transparent bottom electrode for waveguide applications. Formation of a long-range magnetic order is observed at low temperatures in NaCrSi2O6 and NaCrGe2O6 quasi-one-dimensional metal oxide compounds with a pyroxene structure. The first of these compounds, NaCrSi2O6, is an antiferromagnet with the Néel temperature T N =3 K, while the second, NaCrGe2O6, is a ferromagnet with the Curie temperature T C =6 K. From the measurements of magnetization and specific heat of these compounds, the main parameters of their magnetic subsystems are determined. In NaCrSi2O6, a spin-flip transition is observed. A change in the type of magnetic order that accompanies the replacement of Si by Ge can be attributed to a change in the parameters of the competing direct antiferromagnetic Cr-Cr and indirect ferromagnetic Cr-O-Cr interactions in isolated chains of CrO6 octahedra.  相似文献
