Let ${\mathcal{A} = (A; F)}$ be an algebra with T the set of all its term operations. For any permutation τ of A, the induced mapping ${f \to \tau\circ f\circ\tau^{-1}}$ defines a permutation ${\tau^{\star}}$ of the set of all finitary operations on the set A. We say that τ is a weak automorphism of ${\mathcal{A}}$ if and only if τ*(T) = T. Of course any automorphism α of ${\mathcal{A}}$ is a weak automorphism, because α*(t) = t for all ${t \in T}$ . The set of all weak automorphisms of ${\mathcal{A}}$ forms a subgroup of the symmetric group on A. In this paper, we describe weak automorphisms of the dihedral groups ${\mathcal{D}_n}$ for n ≥ 3. We show that the weak automorphism group of ${\mathcal{D}_n}$ is a semidirect product of the group of automorphisms of ${\mathcal{D}_n}$ and some group related to the group of invertible elements of the ring ${\mathbb{Z}_n}$ .  相似文献

Let $ \mathbb{F} $ be a finite field of characteristic different from 2. We study the cardinality of sets of matrices with a given determinant or a given permanent for the set of Hermitian matrices $ {{\mathcal{H}}_n}\left( \mathbb{F} \right) $ and for the whole matrix space M n ( $ \mathbb{F} $ ). It is known that for n = 2, there are bijective linear maps Φ on $ {{\mathcal{H}}_n}\left( \mathbb{F} \right) $ and M n ( $ \mathbb{F} $ ) satisfying the condition per A = det Φ(A). As an application of the obtained results, we show that if n ≥ 3, then the situation is completely different and already for n = 3, there is no pair of maps (Φ, ?), where Φ is an arbitrary bijective map on matrices and ? : $ \mathbb{F} $ $ \mathbb{F} $ is an arbitrary map such that per A = ?(det Φ(A)) for all matrices A from the spaces $ {{\mathcal{H}}_n}\left( \mathbb{F} \right) $ and M n ( $ \mathbb{F} $ ), respectively. Moreover, for the space M n ( $ \mathbb{F} $ ), we show that such a pair of transformations does not exist also for an arbitrary n > 3 if the field $ \mathbb{F} $ contains sufficiently many elements (depending on n). Our results are illustrated by a number of examples.  相似文献

We consider the spaces A p ( $\mathbb{T}^m $ ) of functions f on the m-dimensional torus $\mathbb{T}^m $ such that the sequence of Fourier coefficients $\hat f = \{ \hat f(k),k \in \mathbb{Z}^m \} $ belongs to l p (? m ), 1 ≤ p < 2. The norm on A p ( $\mathbb{T}^m $ ) is defined by $\left\| f \right\|_{A_p (\mathbb{T}^m )} = \left\| {\hat f} \right\|_{l^p (\mathbb{Z}^m )} $ . We study the rate of growth of the norms $\left\| {e^{i\lambda \phi } } \right\|_{A_p (\mathbb{T}^m )} $ as |λ| → ∞, λ ∈ ?, for C 1-smooth real functions φ on $\mathbb{T}^m $ (the one-dimensional case was investigated by the author earlier). The lower estimates that we obtain have direct analogs for the spaces A p (? m ).  相似文献

Let $ \mathfrak{g} $ be a reductive Lie algebra over $ \mathbb{C} $ and $ \mathfrak{k} \subset \mathfrak{g} $ be a reductive in $ \mathfrak{g} $ subalgebra. We call a $ \mathfrak{g} $ -module M a $ \left( {\mathfrak{g}{\hbox{,}}\;\mathfrak{k}} \right) $ -module whenever M is a direct sum of finite-dimensional $ \mathfrak{k} $ -modules. We call a $ \left( {\mathfrak{g}{\hbox{,}}\;\mathfrak{k}} \right) $ -module M bounded if there exists $ {C_M} \in {\mathbb{Z}_{{ \geqslant 0}}} $ such that for any simple finite-dimensional $ \mathfrak{k} $ -module E the dimension of the E-isotypic component is not greater than C M dim E. Bounded $ \left( {\mathfrak{g}{\hbox{,}}\;\mathfrak{k}} \right) $ -modules form a subcategory of the category of $ \mathfrak{g} $ -modules. Let V be a finite-dimensional vector space. We prove that the categories of bounded $ \left( {\mathfrak{sp}\left( {{{\mathrm{S}}^2}V \oplus {{\mathrm{S}}^2}{V^{*}}} \right),\;\mathfrak{gl}(V)} \right) $ - and $ \left( {\mathfrak{sp}\left( {{\varLambda^2}V \oplus {\varLambda^2}{V^{*}}} \right),\;\mathfrak{gl}(V)} \right) $ -modules are isomorphic to the direct sum of countably many copies of the category of representations of some explicitly described quiver with relations under some mild assumptions on the dimension of V .  相似文献

For each n let ${Y^{(n)}_t}$ be a continuous time symmetric Markov chain with state space ${n^{-1} \mathbb{Z}^d}$ . Conditions in terms of the conductances are given for the convergence of the ${Y^{(n)}_t}$ to a symmetric Markov process Y t on ${\mathbb{R}^d}$ . We have weak convergence of $\{{Y^{(n)}_t: t \leq t_0\}}$ for every t 0 and every starting point. The limit process Y has a continuous part and may also have jumps.  相似文献

We study limit behavior for sums of the form $\frac{1}{|\Lambda_{L|}}\sum_{x\in \Lambda_{L}}u(t,x),$ where the field $\Lambda_L=\left\{x\in {\bf{Z^d}}:|x|\le L\right\}$ is composed of solutions of the parabolic Anderson equation $$u(t,x) = 1 + \kappa \mathop{\int}_{0}^{t} \Delta u(s,x){\rm d}s + \mathop{\int}_{0}^{t}u(s,x)\partial B_{x}(s). $$ The index set is a box in Z d , namely $\Lambda_{L} = \left\{x\in {\bf Z}^{\bf d} : |x| \leq L\right\}$ and L = L(t) is a nondecreasing function $L : [0,\infty)\rightarrow {\bf R}^{+}. $ We identify two critical parameters $\eta(1) < \eta(2)$ such that for $\gamma > \eta(1)$ and L(t) = eγ t , the sums $\frac{1}{|\Lambda_L|}\sum_{x\in \Lambda_L}u(t,x)$ satisfy a law of large numbers, or put another way, they exhibit annealed behavior. For $\gamma > \eta(2)$ and L(t) = eγ t , one has $\sum_{x\in \Lambda_L}u(t,x)$ when properly normalized and centered satisfies a central limit theorem. For subexponential scales, that is when $\lim_{t \rightarrow \infty} \frac{1}{t}\ln L(t) = 0,$ quenched asymptotics occur. That means $\lim_{t\rightarrow \infty}\frac{1}{t}\ln\left (\frac{1}{|\Lambda_L|}\sum_{x\in \Lambda_L}u(t,x)\right) = \gamma(\kappa),$ where $\gamma(\kappa)$ is the almost sure Lyapunov exponent, i.e. $\lim_{t\rightarrow \infty}\frac{1}{t}\ln u(t,x)= \gamma(\kappa).$ We also examine the behavior of $\frac{1}{|\Lambda_L|}\sum_{x\in \Lambda_L}u(t,x)$ for L = e γ t with γ in the transition range $(0,\eta(1))$   相似文献

We consider nonautonomous semilinear evolution equations of the form $$\frac{dx}{dt}= A(t)x+f(t,x) . $$ Here A(t) is a (possibly unbounded) linear operator acting on a real or complex Banach space $\mathbb{X}$ and $f: \mathbb{R}\times\mathbb {X}\to\mathbb{X}$ is a (possibly nonlinear) continuous function. We assume that the linear equation (1) is well-posed (i.e. there exists a continuous linear evolution family {U(t,s)}(t,s)∈Δ such that for every s∈?+ and xD(A(s)), the function x(t)=U(t,s)x is the uniquely determined solution of Eq. (1) satisfying x(s)=x). Then we can consider the mild solution of the semilinear equation (2) (defined on some interval [s,s+δ),δ>0) as being the solution of the integral equation $$x(t) = U(t, s)x + \int_s^t U(t, \tau)f\bigl(\tau, x(\tau)\bigr) d\tau,\quad t\geq s . $$ Furthermore, if we assume also that the nonlinear function f(t,x) is jointly continuous with respect to t and x and Lipschitz continuous with respect to x (uniformly in t∈?+, and f(t,0)=0 for all t∈?+) we can generate a (nonlinear) evolution family {X(t,s)}(t,s)∈Δ , in the sense that the map $t\mapsto X(t,s)x:[s,\infty)\to\mathbb{X}$ is the unique solution of Eq. (4), for every $x\in\mathbb{X}$ and s∈?+. Considering the Green’s operator $(\mathbb{G}{f})(t)=\int_{0}^{t} X(t,s)f(s)ds$ we prove that if the following conditions hold
  • the map $\mathbb{G}{f}$ lies in $L^{q}(\mathbb{R}_{+},\mathbb{X})$ for all $f\in L^{p}(\mathbb{R}_{+},\mathbb{X})$ , and
  • $\mathbb{G}:L^{p}(\mathbb{R}_{+},\mathbb{X})\to L^{q}(\mathbb {R}_{+},\mathbb{X})$ is Lipschitz continuous, i.e. there exists K>0 such that $$\|\mathbb{G} {f}-\mathbb{G} {g}\|_{q} \leq K\|f-g\|_{p} , \quad\mbox{for all}\ f,g\in L^p(\mathbb{R}_+,\mathbb{X}) , $$
then the above mild solution will have an exponential decay.  相似文献

Using Chebyshev polynomials combined with some mild combinatorics, we provide an alternative approach to the analytical and formal planar limits of a random matrix model with a 1-cut potential V. For potentials ${V(x)=x^{2}/2-\sum_{n\ge1}a_{n}x^{n}/n}$ , as a power series in all a n , the formal Taylor expansion of the analytic planar limit is exactly the formal planar limit. In the case V is analytic in infinitely many variables {a n } n ≥ 1 (on the appropriate spaces), the planar limit is also an analytic function in infinitely many variables and we give quantitative versions of where this is defined. Particularly useful in enumerative combinatorics are the gradings of ${V,V_{t}(x)=x^{2}/2-\sum_{n\ge1}a_{n}t^{n/2}x^{n}/n}$ and ${V_{t}(x)=x^{2}/2-\sum_{n\ge3}a_{n}t^{n/2 -1}x^{n}/n}$ . The associated planar limits F(t) as functions of t count planar diagram sorted by the number of edges respectively faces. We point out a method of computing the asymptotic of the coefficients of F(t) using the combination of the wzb method and the resolution of singularities. This is illustrated in several computations revolving around the important extreme potential ${V_{t}(x)=x^{2}/2+\log(1-\sqrt{t}x)}$ and its variants. This particular example gives a quantitative and sharp answer to a conjecture of ’t Hooft’s, which states that if the potential is analytic, the planar limit is also analytic.  相似文献

LetX be ann-element set and letA and? be families of subsets ofX. We say thatA and? are crosst-intersecting if |A ∩ B| ≥ t holds for all A ∈A and for allB ∈ ?. Suppose thatA and ? are crosst-intersecting. This paper first proves a crosst-intersecting version of Harper's Theorem:
  1. There are two crosst-intersecting Hamming spheresA 0,? 0 with centerX such that |A| ≤ |A 0| and|?| ≤ |? 0| hold.
  2. Suppose thatt ≥ 2 and that the pair of integers (|A) is maximal with respect to direct product ordering among pairs of crosst-intersecting families. Then,A and? are Hamming spheres with centerX.
Using these claims, the following conjecture of Frankl is proven:
  1. Ifn + t = 2k ? 1 then |A| |?| ≤ max \(\left\{ {\left( {K_k^n + \left( {_{k - 1}^{n - 1} } \right)} \right)^2 ,K_k^n K_{k - 1}^n } \right\}\) holds, whereK l n is defined as \(\left( {_n^n } \right)\left( {_{n - 1}^n } \right) + \cdots + \left( {_l^n } \right).\)
  2. Ifn + t = 2k then |A| |? ≤ (K k n )2 holds.
The extremal configurations are also determined.  相似文献

We show that the convex hull of any N points in the hyperbolic space ${\mathbb{H}^{n}}$ is of volume smaller than ${\frac{2 (2 \sqrt \pi)^n}{\Gamma(\frac n 2)} N}$ , and that for any dimension n there exists a constant C n > 0 such that for any set ${A \subset \mathbb{H}^{n}}$ , $$Vol(Conv(A_1)) \leq C_n Vol(A_1)$$ where A 1 is the set of points of hyperbolic distance to A smaller than 1.  相似文献

Let (T t ) t?≥ 0 be a bounded analytic semigroup on L p (Ω), with 1?<?p?<?∞. Let ?A denote its infinitesimal generator. It is known that if A and A * both satisfy square function estimates ${\bigl\|\bigl(\int_{0}^{\infty} \vert A^{\frac{1}{2}} T_t(x)\vert^2 {\rm d}t \bigr)^{\frac{1}{2}}\bigr\|_{L^p} \lesssim \|x\|_{L^p}}$ and ${\bigl\|\bigl(\int_{0}^{\infty} \vert A^{*\frac{1}{2}} T_t^*(y) \vert^2 {\rm d}t \bigr)^{\frac{1}{2}}\bigr\|_{L^{p^\prime}} \lesssim \|y\|_{L^{p^\prime}}}$ for ${x\in L^p(\Omega)}$ and ${y\in L^{p^\prime}(\Omega)}$ , then A admits a bounded ${H^{\infty}(\Sigma_\theta)}$ functional calculus for any ${\theta>\frac{\pi}{2}}$ . We show that this actually holds true for some ${\theta<\frac{\pi}{2}}$ .  相似文献

In this paper, the relationship between the extended family and several mixing properties in measuretheoretical dynamical systems is investigated. The extended family eF related to a given family F can be regarded as the collection of all sets obtained as"piecewise shifted"members of F.For a measure preserving transformation T on a Lebesgue space(X,B,μ),the sets of"accurate intersections of order k"defined below are studied,Nε(A0,A1,...,Ak)=n∈Z+:μk i=0T inAiμ(A0)μ(A1)μ(Ak)ε,for k∈N,A0,A1,...,Ak∈B and ε0.It is shown that if T is weakly mixing(mildly mixing)then for any k∈N,all the sets Nε(A0,A1,...,Ak)have Banach density 1(are in(eFip),i.e.,the dual of the extended family related to IP-sets).  相似文献

The variation $V(\mathcal{A}) = \mathop {\max }\limits_{n \in \mathbb{Z}_m } |R(\mathcal{A},n + 1) - R(\mathcal{A},n)|$ is estimated in terms of the number of a’s with $a - 1 \notin \mathcal{A}$ , $a \in \mathcal{A}$ .  相似文献

Let ${X= \{X_t, t \ge 0\}}$ be a continuous time random walk in an environment of i.i.d. random conductances ${\{\mu_e \in [1,\infty), e \in E_d\}}$ , where E d is the set of nonoriented nearest neighbor bonds on the Euclidean lattice ${\mathbb{Z}^d}$ and d ≥ 3. Let ${{\rm R} = \{x \in \mathbb{Z}^d: X_t = x {\rm \,for\, some}\,t \ge 0\}}$ be the range of X. It is proved that, for almost every realization of the environment, dimH R = dimP R = 2 almost surely, where dimH and dimP denote, respectively, the discrete Hausdorff and packing dimension. Furthermore, given any set ${A \subseteq \mathbb{Z}^d}$ , a criterion for A to be hit by X t for arbitrarily large t > 0 is given in terms of dimH A. Similar results for Bouchoud’s trap model in ${\mathbb{Z}^d}$ (d ≥ 3) are also proven.  相似文献

We initiate a new line of investigation on branching problems for generalized Verma modules with respect to reductive symmetric pairs $ \left( {\mathfrak{g},\mathfrak{g}'} \right) $ . In general, Verma modules may not contain any simple module when restricted to a reductive subalgebra. In this article we give a necessary and sufficient condition on the triple $ \left( {\mathfrak{g},\mathfrak{g}',\mathfrak{p}} \right) $ such that the restriction $ {\left. X \right|_{\mathfrak{g}'}} $ always contains simple $ \mathfrak{g}' $ -modules for any $ \mathfrak{g} $ -module X lying in the parabolic BGG category $ {\mathcal{O}^\mathfrak{p}} $ attached to a parabolic subalgebra $ \mathfrak{p} $ of $ \mathfrak{g} $ . Formulas are derived for the Gelfand?CKirillov dimension of any simple module occurring in a simple generalized Verma module. We then prove that the restriction $ {\left. X \right|_{\mathfrak{g}'}} $ is generically multiplicity-free for any $ \mathfrak{p} $ and any $ X \in {\mathcal{O}^\mathfrak{p}} $ if and only if $ \left( {\mathfrak{g},\mathfrak{g}'} \right) $ is isomorphic to (A n , A n-1), (B n , D n ), or (D n+1, B n ). Explicit branching laws are also presented.  相似文献

Following the terminology introduced by V. V. Trofimov and A. T. Fomenko, we say that a self-adjoint operator $\varphi :\mathfrak{g}* \to \mathfrak{g}$ is sectional if it satisfies the identity ad ?x * a = ad β * x, $x \in \mathfrak{g}*$ , where $\mathfrak{g}$ is a finite-dimensional Lie algebra and $a \in \mathfrak{g}*$ and $\beta \in \mathfrak{g}$ are fixed elements. In the case of a semisimple Lie algebra $\mathfrak{g}$ , the above identity takes the form [?x, a] = [β, x] and naturally arises in the theory of integrable systems and differential geometry (namely, in the dynamics of n-dimensional rigid bodies, the argument shift method, and the classification of projectively equivalent Riemannian metrics). This paper studies general properties of sectional operators, in particular, integrability and the bi-Hamiltonian property for the corresponding Euler equation $\dot x = ad_{\varphi x}^* x$ .  相似文献
