Sharp Conditions for the CLT of Linear Processes in a Hilbert Space

In this paper we study the behavior of sums of a linear process associated to a strictly stationary sequence with values in a real separable Hilbert space and are linear operators from H to H. One of the results is that satisfies the CLT provided are i.i.d. centered having finite second moments and . We shall provide an example which shows that the condition on the operators is essentially sharp. Extensions of this result are given for sequences of weak dependent random variables under minimal conditions.     

Quantum duality in quantum deformations

In accordance with the quantum duality principle, the twisted algebra is equivalent to the quantum group and has two preferred bases: one inherited from the universal enveloping algebra and the other generated by coordinate functions of the dual Lie group . We show howthe transformation can be explicitly obtained for any simple Lie algebra and a factorable chain of extended Jordanian twists. In the algebra , we introduce a natural vector grading , compatible with the adjoint representation of the algebra. Passing to the dual-group coordinates allows essentially simplifying the costructure of the deformed Hopf algebra , considered as a quantum group . The transformation can be used to construct new solutions of the twist equations. We construct a parameterized family of extended Jordanian deformations and study it in terms of ; we find new realizations of the parabolic twist. Extrapolation of transformations of random processes perturbed by white noise

We consider the problem of linear mean square optimal estimation of transformation of a stationary random process (t) in observations of process (t) + n(t) for t < – 0, where (t) is white noise uncorrelated with (t). A new bound for an extension of Mason’s theorem for functions of several variables

In this paper, using the generalized Wronskian, we obtain a new sharp bound for the generalized Masons theorem [1] for functions of several variables. On Brualdi's Theorem

This paper studies irreducible matrices , satisfying Brualdi's conditions , or, shortly, Brualdi matrices. Here, is the set of circuits of length in the directed graph of A, and is the support of . Among the results obtained are a characterization of Brualdi matrices, implying, in particular, that they are generalized diagonally dominant; the necessary and sufficient conditions of singularity of Brualdi matrices; explicit expressions for the absolute values of the components of right null-vectors of a singular Brualdi matrix, and conditions necessary and sufficient for a boundary point of Brualdi's inclusion region to be an eigenvalue of an irreducible matrix. On transformations z(t) = y(ϕ(t)) of ordinary differential equations

Characterization of Normal Traces on Von Neumann Algebras by Inequalities for the Modulus

It is proved that if a normal semifinite weight on a von Neumann algebra satisfies the inequality for any selfadjoint operators in , then this weight is a trace. Several similar characterizations of traces among the normal semifinite weights are proved. In particular, Gardner's result on the characterization of traces by the inequality is refined and reinforced.     

A priori bounds and a Liouville theorem on a half-space for higher-order elliptic Dirichlet problems

We consider the 2m-th order elliptic boundary value problem Lu = f (x, u) on a bounded smooth domain with Dirichlet boundary conditions on ∂Ω. The operator L is a uniformly elliptic operator of order 2m given by . For the nonlinearity we assume that , where are positive functions and q > 1 if N ≤ 2m, if N > 2m. We prove a priori bounds, i.e, we show that for every solution u, where C > 0 is a constant. The solutions are allowed to be sign-changing. The proof is done by a blow-up argument which relies on the following new Liouville-type theorem on a half-space: if u is a classical, bounded, non-negative solution of ( − Δ) ^m u  =  u ^q in with Dirichlet boundary conditions on and q > 1 if N ≤ 2m, if N > 2m then .      

Relations between different types of spectra and spectral characterizations

In the study of the asymptotic behaviour of solutions of differential-difference equations the -spectrum has been useful, where and implies Fourier transform , with given , φ∈L ^∞(ℝ,X), X a Banach space, (half)line. Here we study and related concepts, give relations between them, especially weak Laplace half-line spectrum of φ, and thus ⊂ classical Beurling spectrum = Carleman spectrum =  ; also  = Beurling spectrum of “φ modulo ” (Chill-Fasangova). If satisfies a Loomis type condition (L _U ), then countable and uniformly continuous ∈U are shown to imply ; here (L _U ) usually means , indefinite integral Pf of f in U imply Pf in (the Bohl-Bohr theorem for = almost periodic functions, U=bounded functions). This spectral characterization and other results are extended to unbounded functions via mean classes , ℳ ^m U ((2.1) below) and even to distributions, generalizing various recent results for uniformly continuous bounded φ. Furthermore for solutions of convolution systems S*φ=b with in some we show . With these above results, one gets generalizations of earlier results on the asymptotic behaviour of solutions of neutral integro-differential-difference systems. Also many examples and special cases are discussed.
