We present a scheme for all-optical precision mass sensing with squeezed field in an optomechanical system in terms of optomechanically induced transparency (OMIT). We demonstrate that the splitting of the two peaks of the OMIT, which is almost inverse proportion to square root of the accreted mass landing on nanomechanical resonator (NAMR). We also show that the mass measurement scheme for the squeezed fields can be robust against temperature and cavity decay in somehow. Specifically, the precision measurement is from the noise spectrum, for these reasons, our scheme may provide a new paradigm for precision measurement based on the noise in the optomechanical system.  相似文献

Here, we study the controllable optical responses in a two-cavity optomechanical system, especially on the perfect optomechanically induced transparency (OMIT) in the model which has never been studied before. The results show that the perfect OMIT can still occur even with a large mechanical damping rate, and at the perfect transparency window the long-lived slow light can be achieved. In addition, we find that the conversion between the perfect OMIT and optomechanically induced absorption can be easily achieved just by adjusting the driving field strength of the second cavity. We believe that the results can be used to control optical transmission in modern optical networks.  相似文献

提出一个杂化腔光力系统理论方案,利用两纳米机械振子间的库仑耦合作用实现弱探测光的双光力诱导透明窗口.研究边带可分辨区域和红失谐情况下双光力诱导透明窗口的可调特性.数值计算表明:两纳米振子间的库仑作用可有效地使单光力诱导透明窗口劈裂为双透明窗口.随着库仑耦合强度的增大,两透明窗口间的距离对称性地拉大;其次,光力腔衰减率的改变对两透明窗口的位置和深度无影响,仅对两透明窗口的宽度产生细微改变,测量精度可在坏腔情形下得到很好的保持;另外,仅增加参量放大器的非线性增益参量将使两透明窗口变宽,而引入驱动参量放大器的光场相位,利用相位匹配可以产生比空腔情形更加狭窄陡峭的双透明窗口,可用于比空腔情况更加精密的测量.  相似文献

We propose a system for achieving some adjustable quantum coherence effects, including the normal-mode splitting(NMS), the optomechanically induced transparency(OMIT), and the optomechanically induced absorption(OMIA). In this system, two tunnel-coupled optomechanical cavities are each driven by a coupling field and coupled to an atomic ensemble.Besides, one of the cavities is also injected with a probe field. When the system works under different conditions, we can obtain the NMS, the OMIT, and the OMIA, respectively. These effects can be flexibly adjusted by the tunnel coupling between the two cavities, the power of the coupling lasers, and the coupling strength between the atomic ensembles and the cavity fields. Furthermore, we can realize the OMIT even if the oscillating mirrors have relatively larger decay rates.  相似文献

We theoretically investigated a second-order optomechanical-induced transparency (OMIT) process of a hybrid optomechanical system (COMS), which a Bose—Einstein condensate (BEC) in the presence of atom—atom interaction trapped inside a cavity with a moving end mirror. The advantage of this hybrid COMS over a bare COMS is that the frequency of the second mode is controlled by the s-wave scattering interaction. Based on the traditional linearization approximation, we derive analytical solutions for the output transmission intensity of the probe field and the dimensionless amplitude of the second-order sideband (SS). The numerical results show that the transmission intensity of the probe field and the dimensionless amplitude of the SS can be controlled by the s-wave scattering frequency. Furthermore, the control field intensities, the effective detuning, the effective coupling strength of the cavity field with the Bogoliubov mode are used to control the transmission intensity of the probe field and the dimensionless amplitude of the SS.  相似文献

We theoretically investigate the optomechanical induced transparency(OMIT) phenomenon in a two-cavity system which is composed of two optomechanical cavities. Both of the cavities consist of a fixed mirror and a high-Q mechanical resonator, and they couple to each other via a common waveguide. We show that in the presence of a strong pump field applied to one cavity and a weak probe field applied to the other, a triple-OMIT can be observed in the output field at the probe frequency. The two mechanical resonators in the two cavities are identical, but they lead to different quantum interference pathways. The transparency windows are induced by the coupling of the two cavities and the optical pressure radiated to the mechanical resonators, which can be controlled via the power of the pump field and the coupling strength of the two cavities.  相似文献

We study the tunable optomechanically induced absorption (OMIA) with the quantized field in the system, which consists of a driven cavity and a mechanical resonator with a super-conducting charge qubit via Jaynes-Cummings interaction. Such a OMIA can be achieved by controlling the strength of the Jaynes-Cummings interaction. Moreover, our work shows this OMIA for the quantized fields can be robust against cavity decay in somehow. With the combination of optomechanically induced transparency (OMIT), our proposal may have paved a new avenue towards quantum photon router.  相似文献

The optomechanically induced transparency (OMIT), an optomechanical analogue of electromagnetically induced transparency, is a very interesting interference phenomenon. Recently, the studies on the OMIT have been extended to double-OMIT by integrating more optical or mechanical subsystems such as mechanical oscillators, coupled cavities, and atoms in vibrational cavity. In this paper, we demonstrate the double-OMIT can be observed in Laguerre-Gaussian (L-G) rovibrational cavity which was proposed by Bhattacharya et al. (2008) [40], an analog of the double-OMIT in vibrational cavity. The double-OMIT in this research is naturally resulted from a single rovibrational mirror which vibrates and rotates simultaneously, rather than by integrating several subsystems as previously. We numerically examine the influence of the various factors on the double-OMIT and discuss its features and physics behind them in detail. In addition, we discuss the Stokes field generated via the four-wave mixing process in the L-G rovibrational cavity.  相似文献

Critical slowing down effect in a bistable model of a two-level atomic medium in a ring cavity and in contact with squeezed vacuum field is examined within the mean field approximations in the high-, low- and arbitrary-Q cavity cases. Depending on the squeezed vacuum field phase parameter, the time response to linear perturbation of the incident field near the swtiching-on point can be enhanced or reduced compared with the normal vacuum case. In the low-Q cavity case with atomic collisional broadening switching time is both increased and become insensitive to the phase of the squeezed vacuum field. Analytical expressions are given and analysed for the critical (extermal) values of the incident field. Based on squeezed operators this paper has implemented an ideal unconventional geometric quantum gate (GQG) in ion trap-optical cavity system by radiating the trapped ions with the cavity field of frequency wc and an external laser field of frequency wL. It can ensure that the gate time is shorter than the coherence time for qubits and the decay time of the optical cavity by appropriately tuning the ionic transition frequency w0, the frequencies of the cavity mode wc and the vibrational mode ν. It has also realized the unconventional GQG under the influence of the cavity decay based on the squeezed-like operators and found that the present scheme works well for the smaller cavity decay by investigating the corresponding fidelity and success probability.  相似文献

Quantization of an electromagnetic field in a cavity filled with a uniform medium having a time-varying dielectric constant and in a cavity with a moving wall is considered. It is shown that squeezed and correlated states of the field can be generated. The possible limits of the squeezing and correlation coefficients are indicated. A scheme has been proposed for generating the macroscopic superpositions and the entanglement between the mesoscopic squeezed vacuum states by considering the two-photon interaction of N two-level atoms in a dissipative cavity with high quality factor assisted by a strong driving field. A number of multiparty entangled states between the atoms and the squeezed vacuum states, among the atoms, and among the squeezed vacuum states, can be prepared by virtue of a specific choice of the cavity detuning and the detuning of applied coherent field under the dissipation condition. The corresponding analytical expressions of the influence can be given. Moreover, we can also give a series of macroscopic entangled states between the usual coherent states and the squeezed vacuum states using the combination of the dissipative one-photon interaction Hamiltonian with the dissipative two-photon interaction Hamiltonian. We also discuss the experimental feasibility. Our scheme can be realized in the current techniques on the cavity QED.  相似文献

研究了Kerr介质腔中非线性J-C模型的腔场谱.导出了初始光场处于任意量子态时腔场谱的计算公式,给出了光场处于数态、相干态和压缩真空态时的数值结果,讨论了Kerr效应和初始场强对腔场谱的影响.发现在光子数态的情况下,n≠1时均为2峰结构,Kerr介质使得中心频率按x(2n-1)的规律向高频方向移动,并破坏谱结构的双峰对称性;在相干态和压缩真空态情况下,当Kerr效应较弱时,非线性J-C模型中腔场谱的非经典特性较为突出,Kerr效应较强时,呈现多峰结构,谱的结构特征主要由Kerr效应决定,由于原子与腔场的耦合被抑制,腔场谱的非线性特征趋于消失.  相似文献

We present a frequency modulation scheme to detect atoms dispersively in a high-finesse optical cavity at low-light levels with immunity to cavity length fluctuations. We use multiple cavity resonances to provide common mode noise rejection, keeping the high intensity carrier off-resonant from all cavity modes. In theory, we study the quantum tluctuatlons ot tlae suDllarmonlc renecteu nela Irom a ulplc-rc~ulltUtt IdU~ClIClatC optical parametric amplifier (OPA) inside an optical cavity. We discuss two cases, where the linewidth of the harmonic field is either much narrower or broader than the subharmonic field. Since an electromagnetically-induced-transparency (EIT)-like effect can be simulated in a triple-resonant OPA, the output spectra from a triple-resonant OPA with a squeezed vacuum input may simulate the phenomenon of the response of an EIT medium for squeezed states.
