研究了玻色-费米超流混合体系中的相互作用调制隧穿动力学特性,其中玻色子位于对称双势阱中,费米子位于对称双势阱中心的简谐势阱中.采用双模近似方法得到描述双势阱玻色-爱因斯坦凝聚的动力学特性方程组,并将其与简谐势阱中分子玻色-爱因斯坦凝聚的Gross-Pitaevskii方程进行耦合.通过对不同参数下玻色-费米混合体系中的隧穿现象进行数值研究,发现简谐势阱中费米子与双势阱中玻色子的相互作用使双势阱玻色-爱因斯坦凝聚的隧穿动力学特性更加丰富.不但驱使双势阱中玻色-爱因斯坦凝聚从类约瑟夫森振荡转变为宏观量子自囚禁,而且宏观量子自囚禁表现为三种不同的形式:相位与时间呈负相关并随时间单调减小的自囚禁、相位随时间演化有界的自囚禁以及相位与时间呈正相关并随时间单调增大的自囚禁. 相似文献

以非线性Rosen-Zener隧穿理论为基础, 用平均场近似的方法, 通过考虑高阶非线性项的影响, 研究了非线性两能级系统中费米超流气体的Rosen-Zener隧穿现象. 研究发现粒子间的非线性相互作用能够显著地影响量子隧穿. 分别在快扫描极限和绝热极限的条件下, 解释了Rosen-Zener隧穿现象, 并给出了矩形振荡周期与非线性参数之间的依赖关系. 这为更深入认识费米气体的基本属性提供了理论基础. 相似文献

操控原子玻色-爱因斯坦凝聚体在双势阱中的动力学通常是通过改变势阱深度来实现,本文提出了一种基于调节原子有效质量的控制方案,可以在不改变双阱势的前提下操控凝聚体的双阱动力学.利用双模近似,本文解析地导出了超冷原子在双阱势中的隧穿强度和相互作用强度对有效质量的依赖关系,并基于平均场近似数值模拟了在有效质量调节下的凝聚体动力学演化,展示了隧穿振荡和自束缚等典型的双阱动力学行为.此外,本文的研究还发现,借助负有效质量效应,这一方案甚至可以等效地实现对负散射长度原子凝聚体双阱动力学行为的操控. 相似文献

当前在冷原子和玻色爱因斯坦凝聚(BEC)领域的一个重要问题是在Feshbach共振附近的冷费米气体如何从BEC态演变到BCS(Bardeen Schrieffer Cooper)态.本文进一步研究在Feshbach共振附近超流态的相滑移现象.通过具体的数值计算,给出了费米气体在相滑移时的粒子数密度的分布,并对不同温度下的相滑移的大小进行了分析.结果表明,相滑移现象可以作为实验上判断系统是否处于超流态的一个可行的判据.

In order to honor Jörg Kotthaus, I present unpublished experimental results which were obtained in 1994 when I was a postdoc in Munich.The scattering between edge states in the quantum Hall regime is strongly reduced compared to scattering in the bulk of a two-dimensional electron gas. For edge states with different Landau quantum numbers an equilibration length as long as 100μm has been determined. In the case of Landau levels with different spin quantum numbers this length may reach values of 1 mm. Here we set out to explore the equilibration between edge states with different subband quantum numbers. Using parabolic quantum wells as a tunable multi-subband system we find that intersubband scattering can reduce the equilibration length to values below 5μm. 相似文献

Waveguide regimes of nonlinear-optical interactions allow a reduction of quantum noise in spectra of coherent Raman scattering (CRS). We will find the optimal waveguide length providing the maximum quantum limit for the signal-to-noise ratio in waveguide CRS and assess this ratio for laser intensities right below the optical breakdown threshold. This analysis shows that the quantum-limit signal-to-noise ratio of coherent femtosecond CRS spectroscopy of the gas phase can be increased in the waveguide regime by more than four orders of magnitude relative to the regime of tight focusing. 相似文献

We explore the impact of the short-range interaction on the scattering of ground state polar molecules and study the transition from a weak to strong dipolar scattering over an experimentally reasonable range of energies and electric field values. In the strong dipolar limit, the scattering scales with respect to a dimensionless quantity defined by mass, induced dipole moment, and collision energy. The scaling has implications for all quantum mechanical dipolar scattering. Furthermore the universal scattering regime will readily be achieved with polar molecules at ultracold temperatures. 相似文献

We study inelastic collisions in a pure, trapped sample of Feshbach molecules made of bosonic cesium atoms in the quantum halo regime. We measure the relaxation rate coefficient for decay to lower-lying molecular states and study the dependence on scattering length and temperature. We identify a pronounced loss minimum with varying scattering length along with a further suppression of loss with decreasing temperature. Our observations provide insight into the physics of a few-body quantum system that consists of four identical bosons at large values of the two-body scattering length. 相似文献

We study the thermodynamic condensation of microcavity polaritons using a realistic model of disorder in semiconductor quantum wells. This approach correctly describes the polariton inhomogeneous broadening in the low density limit, and treats scattering by disorder to all orders in the condensed regime. While the weak disorder changes the thermodynamic properties of the transition little, the effects of disorder in the condensed state are prominent in the excitations and can be seen in resonant Rayleigh scattering. 相似文献

We consider ultracold atoms in 2D disordered optical potentials and calculate microscopic quantities characterizing matter wave quantum transport in the noninteracting regime. We derive the diffusion constant as a function of all relevant microscopic parameters and show that coherent multiple scattering induces significant weak localization effects. In particular, we find that even the strong localization regime is accessible with current experimental techniques and calculate the corresponding localization length. 相似文献

Because spin-flip length is longer than the electron mean-free path in a metal, past studies of spin-flip scattering are limited to the diffusive regime. We propose to use a magnetic double barrier tunnel junction to study spin-flip scattering in the nanometer sized spacer layer near the ballistic limit. We extract the voltage and temperature dependence of the spin-flip conductance Gs in the spacer layer from magnetoresistance measurements. In addition to spin scattering information including the mean-free path (70 nm) and the spin-flip length (1.0-2.6 microm) at 4.2 K, this technique also yields information on the density of states and quantum well resonance in the spacer layer. 相似文献

The dc conductance of a short spin-incoherent Hubbard chain coupled to leads is investigated using quantum Monte Carlo calculations. In contrast with the Luttinger liquid regime, where the conductance is equal to the noninteracting value, the spin-incoherent regime displays a conductance that decreases rapidly with chain length down to a value of roughly 1.5 e2/h for a four site chain followed by a slower decrease for longer chains.
