We establish the cyclic inequality for i-th L p-dual mixed volume and Lp-dual Urysohn inequality between p-mean width and Lp-dual quermassintegral. Moreover, the dual isoperimetric inequality for Lp-dual mixed volume is proved, which is an extension of the classical dual isoperimetric inequality.  相似文献

Let G n be the set of all real algebraic polynomials of degree at most n, positive on the interval (?1, 1) and without zeros inside the unit circle (|z| < 1). In this paper an inequality for the polynomials from the set G n is obtained. In one special case this inequality is reduced to the inequality given by B. Sendov [5] and in another special case it is reduced to an inequality between uniform norm and norm in the L 2 space for the Jacobi weight.  相似文献

The two-level pressure projection stabilized finite element methods for Navier-Stokes equations with nonlinear slip boundary conditions are investigated in this paper, whose variational formulation is the Navier-Stokes type variational inequality problem of the second kind. Based on the P1-P1 triangular element and using the pressure projection stabilized finite element method, we solve a small Navier-Stokes type variational inequality problem on the coarse mesh with mesh size H and solve a large Stokes type variational inequality problem for simple iteration or a large Oseen type variational inequality problem for Oseen iteration on the fine mesh with mesh size h. The error analysis obtained in this paper shows that if h=O(H2), the two-level stabilized methods have the same convergence orders as the usual one-level stabilized finite element methods, which is only solving a large Navier-Stokes type variational inequality problem on the fine mesh. Finally, numerical results are given to verify the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

In this article, the notion of Lp-mixed curvature images is introduced, Lp-curvature images being a special case. We prove some sharp Hardy inequality associated with the gradient ? ?? = (? x ,|x| ?? ? y ) by a direct and simple approach. Moreover, similar method is applied to obtain some weighted sharp Rellich inequality related to the Grushin operator in the setting of L p . The equation ut=Δp(u1/(p−1)) for p>1 is a nonlinear generalization of the heat equation which is also homogeneous, of degree 1. For large time asymptotics, its links with the optimal Lp-Euclidean logarithmic Sobolev inequality have recently been investigated. Here we focus on the existence and the uniqueness of the solutions to the Cauchy problem and on the regularization properties (hypercontractivity and ultracontractivity) of the equation using the Lp-Euclidean logarithmic Sobolev inequality. A large deviation result based on a Hamilton-Jacobi equation and also related to the Lp-Euclidean logarithmic Sobolev inequality is then stated.  相似文献

We prove the spectral radius inequality ρ(A1°A2°?°Ak)?ρ(A1A2?Ak) for nonnegative matrices using the ideas of Horn and Zhang. We obtain the inequality ‖A°B‖?ρ(ATB) for nonnegative matrices, which improves Schur’s classical inequality ‖A°B‖?‖A‖‖B‖, where ‖·‖ denotes the spectral norm. The M-relative distance, denoted by ρM is a generalization of the p-relative distance introduced in [R.-C. Li, SIAM J. Matrix Anal. Appl. 19 (1998) 956-982]. We establish necessary and sufficient conditions under which ρM is a metric. In two special cases we derive complete characterizations of this metric. We also present a way of extending the results to metrics sensitive to the domain in which they are defined and find some connections to previously studied metrics. We examine classes of extremal graphs for the inequality γ(G)?|V|-max{d(v)+βv(G)}, where γ(G) is the domination number of graph G, d(v) is the degree of vertex v, and βv(G) is the size of a largest matching in the subgraph of G induced by the non-neighbours of v. This inequality improves on the classical upper bound |V|-maxd(v) due to Claude Berge. We give a characterization of the bipartite graphs and of the chordal graphs that achieve equality in the inequality. The characterization implies that the extremal bipartite graphs can be recognized in polynomial time, while the corresponding problem remains NP-complete for the extremal chordal graphs.  相似文献

In the present paper, we investigate the asymptotic behavior of the solution of a variational inequality with one-sided constraints on ?-periodically located subsets G ε belonging to the boundary ?Ω of the domain Ω ? ?3. We generalize the Ap extrapolation theorem of Rubio de Francia to A weights in the context of Muckenhoupt bases. Our result has several important features. First, it can be used to prove weak endpoint inequalities starting from strong-type inequalities, something which is impossible using the classical result. Second, it provides an alternative to the technique of good-λ inequalities for proving Lp norm inequalities relating operators. Third, it yields vector-valued inequalities without having to use the theory of Banach space valued operators. We give a number of applications to maximal functions, singular integrals, potential operators, commutators, multilinear Calderón-Zygmund operators, and multiparameter fractional integrals. In particular, we give new proofs, which completely avoid the good-λ inequalities, of Coifman's inequality relating singular integrals and the maximal operator, of the Fefferman-Stein inequality relating the maximal operator and the sharp maximal operator, and the Muckenhoupt-Wheeden inequality relating the fractional integral operator and the fractional maximal operator.  相似文献
