This paper deals with a Hilbert-type linear series operator and its norm. Several generalizations of the Hilbert-type inequalities whose kernels are symmetric and homogeneous of the first order are presented. Included are applications of some new extended Hilbert-type inequalities with the best possible constant factors and the equivalent forms are established. Also, the reverse forms and some particular forms are obtained as special cases of the results of this paper. 相似文献

This article is devoted to “forgotten” and rarely used technique of matrix analysis, introduced in 60–70th and enhanced by authors. We will study the matrix trace operator and it’s differentiability. This idea generalizes the notion of scalar derivative for matrix computations. The list of the most common derivatives is given at the end of the article. In this paper, we apply the disconjugacy theory and Elias's spectrum theory to study the positivity and the spectrum structure of the linear operator coupled with the clamped beam boundary conditions (1.2). We also study the positivity and the spectrum structure of the more general operator coupled with (1.2). The problem of almost everywhere stability of a nonlinear autonomous ordinary differential equation is studied using a linear transfer operator framework. The infinitesimal generator of a linear transfer operator (Perron-Frobenius) is used to provide stability conditions of an autonomous ordinary differential equation. It is shown that almost everywhere uniform stability of a nonlinear differential equation, is equivalent to the existence of a non-negative solution for a steady state advection type linear partial differential equation. We refer to this non-negative solution, verifying almost everywhere global stability, as Lyapunov density. A numerical method using finite element techniques is used for the computation of Lyapunov density. 相似文献

An explicit derivation of a tridiagonal matrix form for the almost Mathieu operator (Harper's equation) is obtained via conjugation with a reflection operator, valid for all rational values of the rotation parameter. The difference between even and odd values of the denominator is highlighted.
