Based on the three-stage perforation model, a semi-theoretical analysis is conducted for the ballistic performances of a rigid kinetic projectile impacting on concrete plates. By introducing the projectile resistance coefficients, dimensionless formulae are proposed for depth of penetration (DOP), perforation limit thickness, ballistic limit velocity, residual velocity and perforation ratio, with the projectile nosed geometries and projectile-target interfacial friction taken into account. Based on the proposed formula for DOP and lots of penetration tests data of normal and high strength concrete targets, a new expression is obtained for target strength parameter. By comparisons between the results of the proposed formulae and existing empirical formulae and large amount of projectile penetration or perforation tests data for monolithic and segmented concrete targets, the validations of the proposed formulae are verified. It is found that the projectile-target interfacial friction can be neglected in the predictions of characteristic ballistic parameters. The dimensionless DOP for low-to-mid speed impacts of non-flat nosed projectiles increases almost linearly with the impact factor by a coefficient of 2/(πS). The anti-perforation ability of the multilayered concrete plates is dependent on both the target plate thickness and the projectile impact velocity. The variation range of the perforation ratio is 1–3.5 for concrete targets.  相似文献

In this Note, we derive a multidimensional drift-flux model for boiling flows. Within this framework, the distribution parameter is no longer a scalar but a tensor that might account for the medium anisotropy and the flow regime. A new model for the drift-velocity vector is also derived. It intrinsically takes into account the effect of the friction pressure loss on the buoyancy force. On the other hand, we show that most drift-flux models might exhibit a singularity for large void fraction. 根据刚性弹侵彻动力学的量纲一侵彻深度公式,通过比较刚性弹侵彻不同靶材的侵彻深度,提出不同靶材之间可以互相替换进行实验研究的思想。讨论了相同弹丸在相同撞击速度下对不同靶材的侵彻深度的比例关系。结合现有相关实验中的数据来验证和分析对于不同靶材量纲一侵彻深度公式的实用范围以及不同靶材之间互相替换的可行性,得出了具有工程实用意义的结论。  相似文献

We consider the problem of penetration of rigid pyramidal bodies (impactors) into a strained medium in the case of large speeds of penetration and estimate the depth of the impactor penetration. To this end, we use the two-stage penetration model proposed by Forrestall. We state the shape optimization problem for the penetrating body, which is based on the consideration of a set of bodies of pyramidal external shape with given fixed mass. We study both solid and hollow (shell-shaped) bodies. For the optimization functional we take the penetration depth of the penetrating body, and for the projection variable we take the number of faces of the pyramidal body. We present the results of computations of the penetration depth for different shapes of the impactor and show that, both for shells and solid impactors, the bodies of the shape of a circular cone are optimal. The problems of high-speed penetration of rigid bodies into a deformable medium are nowadays very topical problems [1] which have been studied by Russian and foreign authors [2–8].  相似文献

This paper presents the extension of a flexibility-based large increment method (LIM) for the case of cyclic loading. In the last few years, LIM has been successfully tested for solving a range of non-linear structural problems involving elastoplastic material models under monotonic loading. In these analyses, the force-based LIM algorithm provided robust solutions and significant computational savings compared to the displacement-based finite element approach by using fewer elements and integration points. Although in cyclic analysis a step-by-step solution procedure has to be adopted to account for the plastic history, LIM will still have many advantages over the traditional finite element method. Before going into the basic idea of this extension, a brief discussion regarding LIM governing equations is presented followed by the proposed solution procedure. Next, the formulation is specified for the treatment of the elastic perfectly plastic beam element. The local stage for the beam behavior is discussed in detail and the required improvement for the LIM methodology is described. Illustrative truss and beam examples are presented for different non-linear material models. The results are compared with those obtained from a standard displacement method and again highlight the potential benefits of the proposed flexibility-based approach.  相似文献

根据流体动力润滑理论与活塞动力学方程建立了相关分析模型,在考虑内燃机工作过程中实际存在的气缸套失圆变形基础上,分析了活塞的横向运动,考察了活塞裙部的压力场和摩擦特性.结果表明:与不考虑失圆变形时相比,考虑失圆变形时的润滑油膜压力场的峰值降低,裙部流体压力负荷得以缓解;考虑失圆变形后的摩擦力和摩擦功耗增大,失圆程度越大,所产生的摩擦力和摩擦功耗的增量越大.因此,在活塞设计过程中应当重视失圆变形对活塞裙部润滑和摩擦特性的影响.  相似文献

We construct a model for studying the common influence of the imperfect elasticity of actual bodies, the microgeometry of their surfaces, and their adhesive interaction on the contact characteristics (the contact pressure distribution, the region of actual contact) and on the sliding friction force. The model is based on the solution of a plane contact problem of sliding of a rigid body with a regular relief on the boundary of a viscoelastic foundation with surface molecular attraction in the gap between the surfaces taken into account. We analyze the influence of the surface microgeometry parameters at different scale levels on the character of the surface interaction (the saturated or discrete contact) and the friction force for different sliding velocities of the contacting bodies.  相似文献

This paper addresses the challenges of creating realistic models of soil for simulations of heavy vehicles on weak terrain. We modelled dense soils using the discrete element method with variable parameters for surface friction, normal cohesion, and rolling resistance. To find out what type of soils can be represented, we measured the internal friction and bulk cohesion of over 100 different virtual samples. To test the model, we simulated rut formation from a heavy vehicle with different loads and soil strengths. We conclude that the relevant space of dense frictional and frictional-cohesive soils can be represented and that the model is applicable for simulation of large deformations induced by heavy vehicles on weak terrain.  相似文献

The theoretical flow models of homogeneous and separated flow are applied to in-tube condensation to predict the pressure drop characteristics of R134a. The homogeneous flow model is modified by ten different dynamic viscosity correlations and various alternative correlations of total, frictional and momentum pressure drops to take account of the partial condensation inside the tube. Numerical analyses were performed to determine the average and local homogeneous wall shear stresses and friction factors by means of a CFD program. The equivalent Reynolds number model is modified by six different two-phase friction factors to determine the total condensation pressure drop in the separated flow model. The refrigerant side total pressure drops, frictional pressure drops, friction factors and wall shear stresses are determined within a ±30% error band. The importance of using the alternative total, momentum and frictional pressure drop correlations for the homogeneous flow model is also shown.  相似文献

为了给侵彻引信抗高过载优化设计提供准确的力学输入,将机械振动理论引入侵彻过程建模领域,提出了一种侵彻战斗部刚体运动与一阶轴向振动相结合的垂直侵彻弹靶作用模型。在垂直侵彻过程受力分析的基础上,基于牛顿第二定律建立了战斗部刚体运动模型,基于单自由度弹簧-质量-阻尼系统建立了战斗部一阶轴向振动模型,并采用数值积分的方法获得了垂直侵彻过程中各物理量的变化规律。和火炮试验实测加速度信号的对比分析结果表明:考虑战斗部一阶轴向振动后的垂直侵彻弹靶作用模型能更准确地描述侵彻过程,能更有效地指导侵彻引信的抗高过载优化设计。  相似文献

We propose a statistical model for static and sliding friction between rough surfaces. Approximating the contact between rough surfaces by the contact of an ensemble of one-dimensional viscoelastic elements with a rough rigid surface, we study the collective behavior of the elements. We find that collective response of the contacts can lead to macroscopic behavior very different from the microscopic behavior. Specifically, various observed features of friction emerge as collective phenomena, without postulating them directly at the microscale. We discuss how parameters in our model can be related to material and surface properties of the contacting surfaces. We compare our results to commonly used rate and state phenomenological models, and propose a new interpretation of the state variable.  相似文献

为研究钨合金弹体超高速侵彻混凝土靶的相关机理,构建了适用于超高速撞击的金属强度模型、失效模型和混凝土的本构模型,对93钨合金弹体超高速撞击混凝土靶问题进行了数值模拟。开展了钨合金弹体超高速撞击混凝土靶实验,分析了靶板成坑特性,研究了侵彻总深度和残余弹体长度随撞击速度的变化规律,理论分析了长杆钨弹超高速撞击混凝土的侵彻模型和混凝土靶内的应力波传播。得到以下主要结论:(1)利用金属及混凝土的新本构模型获得的超高速撞击混凝土靶的破坏形貌数值模拟结果与实验结果一致;(2)超高速撞击条件下混凝土靶成坑为“弹坑+弹洞”形,成坑体积与弹体动能近似成正比;(3)超高速撞击条件下,侵彻深度随弹速提高呈现先增大后减小的现象,高速段侵深降低是弹体经历销蚀侵彻后“刚体侵彻阶段”减少造成的;(4)建立的钨合金超高速撞击混凝土侵彻分析模型,可用来预估侵彻深度、残余弹长、蘑菇头直径等参数;(5)采用建立的超高速撞击混凝土靶内应力波传播理论模型得到的计算结果与实验结果吻合较好。  相似文献

弹体在高速侵彻混凝土介质时,由于弹靶之间强烈的局部作用,导致弹体发生质量损失和弹头钝化。为进一步探究弹体高速侵彻混凝土靶质量侵蚀效应及其影响因素,基于热熔化机制及变摩擦因数模型,考虑弹体侵彻过程中头部形状变化,修正了弹体高速侵彻混凝土质量侵蚀模型。为验证模型的可靠性,基于30 mm弹道炮平台,开展了卵形弹体高速(700~1 000 m/s)侵彻典型混凝土靶体实验,获得了弹体高速侵彻质量侵蚀结果。结合理论模型对本文实验及文献实验数据进行了对比分析计算,验证了本文修正模型的可靠性。结果表明:弹体侵彻过程中,滑动摩擦项占总摩擦力的10%~40%,它对弹体侵彻过程的影响不能被忽略;考虑摩擦因数变化的质量侵蚀模型预测结果与已有实验数据吻合得较好;与本文实验数据的最大误差不超过7%,能较准确地预测不同工况下弹体的质量损失。  相似文献

A dynamic spherical cavity-expansion penetration model is suggested herein to predict the penetration and perforation of concrete targets struck normally by ogivalnosed projectiles.Shear dilatancy as well as compressibility of the material in comminuted region are considered in the paper by introducing a dilatant-kinematic relation.A procedure is first presented to compute the radial stress at the cavity surface and then a numerical method is used to calculate the results of penetration and perforation with friction being taken into account.The influences of various target parameters such as shear strength,bulk modulus,density,Poisson’s ratio and tensile strength on the depth of penetration are delineated.It is shown that the model predictions are in good agreement with available experimental data.It is also shown that the shear strength plays a dominant role in the target resistance to penetration.  相似文献

We consider a model of spatial motion of a body of revolution in a weak soil-type medium with nonsymmetric flow separation taken into account. We obtain a system of equations describing the entry and penetration of a thin body into a half-space. We calibrate the model by comparing it with experiments on penetration of thin cones into plasticine. Test computations show that the model describes complex body motion trajectories for various angles of entry into the target with adequate accuracy.  相似文献

We study Brenier’s variational models for incompressible Euler equations. These models give rise to a relaxation of the Arnold distance in the space of measure-preserving maps and, more generally, measure-preserving plans. We analyze the properties of the relaxed distance, we show a close link between the Lagrangian and the Eulerian model, and we derive necessary and sufficient optimality conditions for minimizers. These conditions take into account a modified Lagrangian induced by the pressure field. Moreover, adapting some ideas of Shnirelman, we show that, even for non-deterministic final conditions, generalized flows can be approximated in energy by flows associated to measure-preserving maps.  相似文献

Multi-stage fracturing is the current preferred method of completion of horizontal wells in unconventional hydrocarbon reservoirs. Its core component consists in simultaneously initiating and propagating an array of hydraulic fractures. We develop a numerical model for the initiation and growth of an array of parallel radial hydraulic fractures. The solution accounts for fracture growth, coupling between elastic deformation and fluid flow in the fractures, elastic stress interactions between fractures and fluid flow in the wellbore. We also take into account the presence of a local pressure drop (function of the entering flow rate) at the connection between the well and the fracture, i.e., a choke-like effect due to current well completion practices, also referred to as entry friction. The partitioning of the fluid into the different fractures at any given time is part of the solution and is a critical indicator of simultaneous (balanced fluid partitioning) versus preferential growth. We validate our numerical model against reference solutions and a laboratory experiment for the initiation and growth of a single radial hydraulic fracture. We then investigate the impact of stress interaction on preferential growth of a subset of fractures in the array. Our results show that a sufficiently large local entry friction provides a strong feedback in the system and thus can counteract elastic stress interaction between fractures, thereby ensuring simultaneous growth. We propose a dimensionless number capturing the competition between stress interaction and local entry friction. This dimensionless number is a function of rock properties, fracture spacing and injection parameters. We verify that it captures the transition from the case of simultaneous growth (entry friction larger than interaction stress) to the case of preferential growth of some fractures (interaction stress larger than entry friction). We also discuss the implication of these results for multi-stage fracturing engineering practices.  相似文献

We present a self-similar solution of the problem of deformation of an ideally plastic wedge by a sliding punch with regard to contact friction; such a solution generalizes the well-known solutions of the problem of wedge penetration into a plastic half-space and of compression of an ideally plastic wedge by a plane punch. We further consider the effect of rod strength by employing the compressible penetration model to study the effect of compressibility on hypervelocity penetration. Meanwhile, we define different instances of penetration efficiency in various modified models and compare these penetration efficiencies to identify the effects of different factors in the compressible model. To systematically discuss the effect of compressibility in different metallic rod-target combinations, we construct three cases, i.e., the penetrations by the more compressible rod into the less compressible target, rod into the analogously compressible target, and the less compressible rod into the more compressible target. The effects of volumetric strain, internal energy, and strength on the penetration efficiency are analyzed simultaneously. It indicates that the compressibility of the rod and target increases the pressure at the rod/target interface. The more compressible rod/target has larger volumetric strain and higher internal energy. Both the larger volumetric strain and higher strength enhance the penetration or anti-penetration ability. On the other hand, the higher internal energy weakens the penetration or anti-penetration ability. The two trends conflict, but the volumetric strain dominates in the variation of the penetration efficiency, which would not approach the hydrodynamic limit if the rod and target are not analogously compressible. However, if the compressibility of the rod and target is analogous, it has little effect on the penetration efficiency.  相似文献
