This paper deals with the relation between isochronicity and first integral for a class of reversible systems: , , which associates to the first integral of the form H(x,y)=F(x)y2+G(x). Two necessary and sufficient conditions are given to characterize isochronicity for these systems. Moreover, we apply these results to show that there exists a class of polynomial reversible systems of degree n with isochronous center for any n.  相似文献

Consider a family of planar systems having a center at the origin and assume that for ε=0 they have an isochronous center. Firstly, we give an explicit formula for the first order term in ε of the derivative of the period function. We apply this formula to prove that, up to first order in ε, at most one critical period bifurcates from the periodic orbits of isochronous quadratic systems when we perturb them inside the class of quadratic reversible centers. Moreover necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of this critical period are explicitly given. From the tools developed in this paper we also provide a new characterization of planar isochronous centers.  相似文献

From these conditions, the necessary and sufficient conditions for the origin to be an isochronous center of the time-reversible cubic real system , can be obtained. This paper is concerned with the study of the number of critical periods of perturbed isochronous centers. More concretely, if X0 is a vector field having an isochronous center of period T0 at the point p and X? is an analytic perturbation of X0 such that the point p is a center for X? then, for a suitable parameterization ξ of the periodic orbits surrounding p, their periods can be written as T(ξ,?)=T0+T1(ξ)?+T2(ξ)?2+?. Firstly we give formulas for the first functions Tl(ξ) that can be used for quite general vector fields. Afterwards we apply them to study how many critical periods appear when we perturb the rigid quadratic isochronous center , inside the class of centers of the quadratic systems or of polynomial vector fields of a fixed degree.  相似文献

We study the isochronicity of centers at OR2 for systems where A,BR[x,y], which can be reduced to the Liénard type equation. When deg(A)?4 and deg(B)?4, using the so-called C-algorithm we found 36 new multiparameter families of isochronous centers. For a large class of isochronous centers we provide an explicit general formula for linearization. This paper is a direct continuation of a previous one with the same title [Islam Boussaada, A. By generalizing the method used by Tignol and Amitsur in [J.-P. Tignol, S.A. Amitsur, Kummer subfields of Malcev-Neumann division algebras, Israel Journal of Math. 50 (1985), 114-144], we determine necessary and sufficient conditions for an arbitrary central division algebra D over a Henselian valued field E to have Kummer subfields when the characteristic of the residue field of E does not divide the degree of D. The necessary conditions for existence of a triplewhist tournament TWh(v) are . By the efforts of many authors through a century, these conditions are shown to be sufficient except for v=5,9,12,13 and possibly for v=17. A triplewhist tournament Wh(v) is said to have the three person property if any two games in the tournament do not have three common players. We briefly denote such a design as a 3PTWh(v). In this paper, we extend the known existence result for TWh(v)s and show that the necessary conditions for existence of a 3PTWh(v), namely, v?8 and , are also sufficient except for v=9,12,13 and possibly for v=17.  相似文献
