Given a C^*-algebra A and a comultiplication Ф on A, we show that the pair (A, Ф) is a compact quantum group if and only if the associated multiplier Hopf ^*-algebra (A, ФA) is a compact Hopf ^*-algebra.  相似文献

This paper is addressed to develop an approximate method to solve a class of infinite dimensional LQ optimal regulator problems over infinite time horizon. Our algorithm is based on a construction of approximate solutions which solve some finite dimensional LQ optimal regulator problems over finite time horizon, and it is shown that these approximate solutions converge strongly to the desired solution in the double limit sense.  相似文献

Suppose that G is a finite group and D(G) the double algebra of G. For a given subgroup H of G, there is a sub-Hopf algebra D(G; H) of D(G). This paper gives the concrete construction of a D(G; H)-invariant subspace AH in field algebra of G-spin model and proves that if H is a normal subgroup of G, then AH is Galois closed.  相似文献

It is shown that an n × n matrix of continuous linear maps from a pro-C^*-algebra A to L(H), which verifies the condition of complete positivity, is of the form [V^*TijФ(·)V]^n i,where Ф is a representation of A on a Hilbert space K, V is a bounded linear operator from H to K, and j=1,[Tij]^n i,j=1 is a positive element in the C^*-algebra of all n×n matrices over the commutant of Ф(A) in L(K). This generalizes a result of C. Y.Suen in Proc. Amer. Math. Soc., 112(3), 1991, 709-712. Also, a covariant version of this construction is given.  相似文献

In this paper, we show that if H is a finite-dimensional Hopf algebra such that H and H^* are semisimple, then gl.dim(A#σH)=gl.dim(A), where a is a convolution invertible cocycle. We also discuss the relationship of global dimensions between the crossed product A^#σH and the algebra A, where A is coacted by H. Dually, we give a sufficient condition for a finite dimensional coalgebra C and a finite dimensional semisimple Hopf algebra H such that gl.dim(C α H)=gl.dim(C).  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the study of the structure of the double Ringel-Hall algebra D(Λ) for an infinite dimensional hereditary algebra A, which is given by a valued quiverΓover a finite field, and also to the study of the relations of D(Λ)-modules with representations of valued quiverΓ.  相似文献

Let X and Y be vector spaces. The authors show that a mapping f : X →Y satisfies the functional equation 2d f(∑^2d j=1(-1)^j+1xj/2d)=∑^2dj=1(-1)^j+1f(xj) with f(0) = 0 if and only if the mapping f : X→ Y is Cauchy additive, and prove the stability of the functional equation (≠) in Banach modules over a unital C^*-algebra, and in Poisson Banach modules over a unital Poisson C*-algebra. Let A and B be unital C^*-algebras, Poisson C^*-algebras or Poisson JC^*- algebras. As an application, the authors show that every almost homomorphism h : A →B of A into is a homomorphism when h((2d-1)^nuy) =- h((2d-1)^nu)h(y) or h((2d-1)^nuoy) = h((2d-1)^nu)oh(y) for all unitaries u ∈A, all y ∈ A, n = 0, 1, 2,.... Moreover, the authors prove the stability of homomorphisms in C^*-algebras, Poisson C^*-algebras or Poisson JC^*-algebras.  相似文献

Let G be an abelian group, B the G-graded λ-Hopf algebra with A being a bicharacter on G. By introducing some new twisted algebras (coalgebras), we investigate the basic properties of the graded antipode and the structure for B. We also prove that a G-graded λ-Hopf algebra can be embedded in a usual Hopf algebra. As an application, it is given that if G is a finite abelian group then the graded antipode of a finite dimensional G-graded A-Hopf algebra is invertible.  相似文献

Dual Pairs of Hopf *-Algebras   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3
If A is a Hopf *-algebra, the dual space A' is again a *-algebra.There is a natural subalgebra of A' that is again a Hopf*-algebra. In many interesting examples, A° will be largeenough (to separate points of A). More generally, one can considera pair (A, B) of Hopf *-algebras and a bilinear form on A xB with conditions such that, if the pairing is non-degenerate,one algebra can be considered as a subalgebra of the dual ofthe other. In these notes, we study such pairs of Hopf *-algebras. We startfrom the notion of a Hopf *-algebra A and its reduced dual A°.We give examples of pairs of Hopf *-algebras, and discuss theproblem of non-degeneracy. The first example is an algebra pairedwith itself. The second example is the pairing of a Hopf *-algebra(due to Jimbo) and the twisted SU(n) of Woronowicz. We alsodiscuss the notion of the quantum double of Drinfeld in thisframework of dual pairs.  相似文献

Pairing and Quantum Double of Multiplier Hopf Algebras   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
We define and investigate pairings of multiplier Hopf (*-)algebras which are nonunital generalizations of Hopf algebras. Dual pairs of multiplier Hopf algebras arise naturally from any multiplier Hopf algebra A with integral and its dual Â. Pairings of multiplier Hopf algebras play a basic rôle, e.g., in the study of actions and coactions, and, in particular, in the relation between them. This aspect of the theory is treated elsewhere. In this paper we consider the quantum double construction out of a dual pair of multiplier Hopf algebras. We show that two dually paired regular multiplier Hopf (*-)algebras A and B yield a quantum double which is again a regular multiplier Hopf (*-)algebra. If A and B have integrals, then the quantum double also has an integral. If A and B are Hopf algebras, then the quantum double multiplier Hopf algebra is the usual quantum double. The quantum double construction for dually paired multiplier Hopf (*-)algebras yields new nontrivial examples of multiplier Hopf (*-)algebras.  相似文献

A new method of constructing quasitriangular group-cograded multiplier Hopf algebras is provided. For a multiplier Hopf dual pairing σ between regular multiplier Hopf algebras A and B, we introduce the concept of a σ-compatible pairing (Φ, Ψ, σ ), where Φ and Ψ are actions of the twisted semi-direct group of a group G on A and B, respectively. We construct a twisted double group-cograded multiplier Hopf algbera D(A, B; σ, Φ, Ψ). Furthermore, if there is a canonical multiplier in M(B ⊗ A) we show existence of quasitriangular structure on D(A, B; σ, Φ, Ψ). As an application, special cases and examples are given.  相似文献

Let B and H be weak Hopf algebras with bijective antipodes S B and S H , respectively. Based on a compatible weak Hopf dual pairing (B, H, σ), we construct a generalized Drinfeld quantum double 𝔻(B, H) which is a weak T-coalgebra over a twisted semi-direct square of groups. In particular, when B and H are finite dimensional and the above pairing map σ is nondegenerate, 𝔻(B, H) admits a nontrivial quasitriangular structure. Some explicit examples are given as an application of our theory.  相似文献

LetH be a Hopf algebra over the fieldk andBA a right faithfully flat rightH-Galois extension. The aim of this paper is to study some questions of representation theory connected with the ring extensionBA, such as induction and restriction of simple or indecomposable modules. In particular, generalizations are given of classical results of Clifford, Green and Blattner on representations of groups and Lie algebras. The stabilizer of a leftB-module is introduced as a subcoalgebra ofH. Very often the stabilizer is a Hopf subalgebra. The special case whenA is a finite dimensional cocommutative Hopf algebra over an algebraically closed field,B is a normal Hopf subalgebra andH is the quotient Hopf algebra was studied before by Voigt using the language of finite group schemes.  相似文献

Let B be a regular multiplier Hopf algebra. Let A be an algebra with a non-degenerate multiplication such that A is a left B-module algebra and a left B-comodule algebra. By the use of the left action and the left coaction of B on A, we determine when a comultiplication on A makes A into a “B-admissible regular multiplier Hopf algebra.” If A is a B-admissible regular multiplier Hopf algebra, we prove that the smash product A # B is again a regular multiplier Hopf algebra. The comultiplication on A # B is a cotwisting (induced by the left coaction of B on A) of the given comultiplications on A and B. When we restrict to the framework of ordinary Hopf algebra theory, we recover Majid’s braided interpretation of Radford’s biproduct. Presented by K. Goodearl.  相似文献

Let A and B be multiplier Hopf algebras, and let R ∈ M(B ? A) be an anti-copairing multiplier, i.e, the inverse of R is a skew-copairing multiplier in the sense of Delvaux [5 Delvaux , L. ( 2004 ). Twisted tensor coproduct of multiplier Hopf (*)-algebras . J. Algebra 274 : 751771 . [Google Scholar]]. Then one can construct a twisted tensor coproduct multiplier Hopf algebra A ? R  B. Using this, we establish the correspondence between the existence of quasitriangular structures in A ? R  B and the existence of such structures in the factors A and B. We illustrate our theory with a profusion of examples which cannot be obtained by using classical Hopf algebras. Also, we study the class of minimal quasitriangular multiplier Hopf algebras and show that every minimal quasitriangular Hopf algebra is a quotient of a Drinfel’d double for some algebraic quantum group.  相似文献

For any field k of zero characteristic we give a functor from the category of k-vector spaces into the category of k-Hopf algebras, attaching to any vector space V its bitensorial pointed Hopf algebra Av. This Hopf algebra is graded, fulfills a universal property, and contains a remarkable subspace P of primitive elements, which as a conjecture may generate the Lie algebra Prim Av. In case V is finite-dimensional we exhibit a Hopf pairing between Avand Av-whose kernel contains the (Hopf) ideal generated by the elements of P of degree ? 2.  相似文献

For a faithfully flat extension A/B and a right A-module M, we give a new characterization of the set of descent data on M. Assuming that B is a simple Artinian ring and A/B is H-Galois, for a certain finite dimensional Hopf algebra H, we prove that Sweedler's noncommutative cohomology H 1(H?, A) is trivial as a pointed set.  相似文献

Let G be any group and let K(G) denote the multiplier Hopf algebra of complex functions with finite support in G. The product in K(G) is pointwise. The comultiplication on K(G) is defined with values in the multiplier algebra M(K(G) ⊗K(G )) by the formula for all and . In this paper we consider multiplier Hopf algebras B (over ) such that there is an embedding I: K(G) →M(B). This embedding is a non-degenerate algebra homomorphism which respects the comultiplication and maps K(G) into the center of M(B). These multiplier Hopf algebras are called G-cograded multiplier Hopf algebras. They are a generalization of the Hopf group-coalgebras as studied by Turaev and Virelizier. In this paper, we also consider an admissible action π of the group G on a G-cograded multiplier Hopf algebra B. When B is paired with a multiplier Hopf algebra A, we construct the Drinfel’d double D π where the coproduct and the product depend on the action π. We also treat the *-algebra case. If π is the trivial action, we recover the usual Drinfel’d double associated with the pair . On the other hand, also the Drinfel’d double, as constructed by Zunino for a finite-type Hopf group-coalgebra, is an example of the construction above. In this case, the action is non-trivial but related with the adjoint action of the group on itself. Now, the double is again a G-cograded multiplier Hopf algebra. Presented by K. Goodearl.  相似文献
