IR spectral shifts of carbonyl vibrational absorption for ethyl acetate, which acts analogically as the structural unit of poly(methyl methacrylate), in cyclohexane, chloroform, chlorinated paraffins, poly(vinyl chloride) and chlorinated poly(vinyl chloride) were measured. The results suggest that there are specific interactions between the carbonyl groups and the chlorinated hydrocarbons which could be responsible for the apparent compatibility of poly(vinyl chloride)—poly(methyl methacrylate) and chlorinated poly(vinyl chloride)—poly(methyl methacrylate) blends. Additionally, the effects of the preparation mode of blend films on phase separation and observed compatibility are discussed.  相似文献

The low-temperature flexibility of polyethylene (PE)–chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) blends and their composites with a small amount of graphene oxide filler was studied. Quantitative height variation in the AFM images, rheological as well as fracture analyses were employed to gain insights into the generation of flexibility in the matrix phase. The semi-crystalline CPE (CPE25) polymer did not induce viscoelastic behavior at temperatures lower than the glass transition temperature of PE, whereas the amorphous CPE (CPE35) had completely different behavior. The samples with CPE35 could not be sufficiently hardened even at ?180 °C and remained too soft for cryosectioning. Therefore, compression, which results in a 30–60 % reduction in length along the cutting direction with no change in the dimension perpendicular to it, was very prominent for both thin section and block face of the sample. The composites had even higher degree of compression due to additional effect of weak filler matrix interactions and as a consequence, the topographical variations led to filler pull out during sectioning. It was also confirmed using the rheological analysis that composites (and blends with 10 % CPE35 content) had phase immiscibility as CPE phase was suspected to concentrate near the graphene oxide phase leading to generation of chlorine-rich phases. The addition of graphene oxide did not lead to reduced flexibility and the composites also retained the modulus similar to pure polymer. The mechanical fracture of the samples also confirmed the flexibility of the CPE containing blends and composites as these samples were still flexible at ?195 °C.  相似文献

In the cloud point extraction (CPE) process with PEG/PPG-18/18 dimethicone, the flexible chain structure of the silicone surfactant efficiently decreased the water content remaining in the surfactant-rich phase, compared with conventional nonionic surfactants, represented by Triton X-114. Meanwhile, the phase volume ratio of surfactant-rich phase to aqueous phase obtained in the silicone surfactant CPE system was found to be maintained at a low value with increasing surfactant concentration; whereas a rapid increase tendency was commonly observed in that of other nonionic surfactants. Based on these advantages, the equilibrium partition of three polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), anthracene, phenanthrene and pyrene, was studied in the CPE process with PEG/PPG-18/18 dimethicone. Equilibrium parameters, including preconcentration factor, distribution coefficient and recovery, were determined, and the performance was compared with that of another related CPE research, where Tergitol 15-S-7 was used. Due to the low surfactant-rich phase volume, higher concentrations of the three PAHs in the surfactant-rich phase, and the resulting higher preconcentration factors and distribution coefficients were able to be achieved at the same time. Moreover, the great performance was able to be maintained even at a high surfactant concentration or PAHs initial concentration.  相似文献

Single and double cyclophenylene–ethynylenes (CPEs) with axial and helical chirality have been synthesized by the Sonogashira cross-coupling of di- and tetraethynyl biphenyls with a U-shaped prearomatic diiodoparaphenylene followed by reductive aromatization. X-ray crystallographic analyses and DFT calculations revealed that the CPEs possess highly twisted bent structures. Bend angles on the edge of the paraphenylene units were close to the value of [5]cycloparaphenylene (CPP)—the smallest CPP to date. The double and single CPEs possessed stable chirality despite flexible biphenyl structures because of the high strain in the diethynyl–paraphenylene moiety. In both the single and double CPEs, orbital interactions along the biphenyl axis were observed by DFT calculations in LUMO and LUMO+2 of the single CPE and LUMO+1 of the double CPE, which likely cause lowering of these orbital energies. Concerning chiroptical properties: boosting of the gabs value was observed in the biphenyl-based double CPE, as well as the binaphthyl-based single CPE, compared to the biphenyl-based single CPE.  相似文献

将石墨粉与十八酸在80 ℃下混合制成表面富含—COOH的基底碳糊电极(SA/CPE), 然后在活化剂N-羟基琥珀酰亚胺(NHS)和1-乙基-3-(3-二甲基氨丙基)碳二亚胺盐酸盐(EDC)存在下将ssDNA固定到电极表面制备ssDNA修饰电极(ssDNA/SA/CPE). 以亚甲基蓝(MB)为指示剂, 用循环伏安法对SA/CPE和ssDNA/SA/CPE进行电化学表征, 发现其在ssDNA/SA/CPE上较在SA/CPE上的氧化峰电流(ipa)和还原峰电流(ipc)分别增大1.9倍和1.7倍, 式电势(Ef)负移8 mV. 把ssDNA/SA/CPE放在互补ssDNA溶液中杂交后, MB的ipaipc较在SA/CPE上分别增大1.0倍和0.8倍, Ef负移18 mV. 用0.5 mol/L 的NaOH溶液冲洗使电极表面杂交而成的dsDNA变性洗脱, MB的伏安信号几乎与在ssDNA/SA/CPE上一样. ipc与SA/CPE上固定的ssDNA质量在1.0×10-7~5.0×10-6 g范围内成线性关系, 检测限为2.0×10-9 g (S/N=3). 这种既廉价又灵敏的电化学生物传感器有望在转基因植物产品检测研究中得到应用.  相似文献

The acid-induced cloud-point extraction (CPE) technique based on sodium dodecylsulfate (SDS) micelles has been used for preconcentration of ten representatives of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) for the following fluorescence determination. The effect of the acidity of solution, SDS and electrolyte concentrations, centrifugation time and rate on the two-phase separation process and extraction percentages of PAHs have systematically been examined. Extraction percentages have been obtained for all PAHs after CPE ranged from 67 to 93%. Pyrene was used as a fluorescent probe to monitor the micropolarity of the surfactant-rich phase compared with SDS micelles and this allows one to conclude that water content in micellar phase after CPE is reduced. The spectral, metrological and analytical characteristics of PAH fluorimetric determination after acid-based CPE with sodium dodecylsulfate are presented. Advantages provided by using CPE in combination with fluorimetric determination of PAHs are discussed. The determination of benz[a]pyrene in tap water is presented as an example.  相似文献

Cloud point extraction (CPE) and solid phase extraction (SPE) methods were developed for the determination of ??g l?1 of vanadium ions in surface, tap and bottled mineral water samples, based on the rapid reaction of vanadium(V) with 8- hydroxyquinoline (8-quinolinol) at pH 3?C5. Both the sensitive extraction methods were successfully employed for the preconcentration of V in real samples. For CPE, V complexed with 8-quinolinol and then was entrapped in non-ionic surfactant Triton X-114, while for SPE, V was adsorbed on XAD -2 impregnated with 8-quinolinol. The experimental conditions for SPE (pH, eluent, and contact time between the liquid sample and the resin) and CPE (pH of sample solution, concentration of 8- quinolinol and Triton X-114, equilibration temperature and time period for shaking) were investigated in detail. The validity of SPE/CPE of V was checked by certified reference material of water (SRM-1643e). The extracted surfactant-rich phase (200 ??l) was mixed with 200 ??l of HNO3 in ethanol and this final volume was injected into electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry with different modifiers. Under these conditions, the preconcentration of 25 ml sample solution allowed the raising of an enrichment factor of 100 and 10 folds for CPE and SPE, respectively. The concentration of V in surface water (river and lake), tap water and bottled mineral water samples was found to be in the range of 1.30?C19.9, 1.05?C5.25 and 0.67?C1.21 ??g l?1, respectively.  相似文献

Dynamic mechanical properties and microstructure of an organic hybrid consisting of chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) and 3,9‐bis[1,1‐dimethyl‐2{β‐(3‐tert‐butyl4‐hydroxy‐5‐methylphenyl)propionyloxy}ethyl]‐2,4,8,10‐tetraoxaspiro[5,5]‐undecane (AO‐80) were investigated. The AO‐80 clearly exhibited two second‐order transitions at 6 and 69 °C in addition to the melting: the transition at lower temperature is assigned to the glass transition, and the transition at higher temperature is considered to be caused by the dissociation of hydrogen bond between the hydroxyl groups of AO‐80. When blending with CPE, part of AO‐80 molecules was dispersed into the CPE matrix, and most of them formed an AO‐80‐rich phase. As a result, a novel transition appeared above the glass‐transition temperature of the CPE matrix. It was assigned to the dissociation of the intermolecular hydrogen bond between the α‐hydrogen of CPE and the hydroxyl groups of AO‐80 within the AO‐80‐rich phase. Dynamic mechanical properties and microstructure of CPE/AO‐80 hybrid were controlled by the thermal treatment. Carbon paste electrodes (CPEs) modified with different soils in their native form were prepared to create a soil-like solid phase suitable for application in studies of heavy metal ion uptake and binding interactions. The preparation of CPEs modified with five different soils was examined and their heavy metal ion uptake behavior investigated using a model Cu(II) aqueous solution. Metal ions were accumulated under open circuit conditions and were determined after a medium exchange using differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry, applying pre-electrolysis at –0.7 V. The soil-modified CPE accumulation behavior, including the linearity of the current response versus Cu(II) concentration, the influence of the pH on the solution, and the uptake kinetics, was thoroughly investigated. The correlation between the soil-modified CPE uptake capability and the standard soil parameters, such as ion exchange capacity, soil pH, organic matter and clay content, were evaluated for all five examined soils. The influence of selected endogenous cations (K(I), Ca(II), Fe(III)) on the transfer of Cu(II) ions from a solution to the simulated soil solid phase was examined and is discussed. Preliminary examinations of the soil-modified CPE uptake behavior with some exogenous heavy metal ions of strong environmental interest (Pb(II), Hg(II), Cd(II) and Ag(I)) are also presented. This work demonstrates some attractive possibilities for the application of a soil-modified CPE in studying soil-heavy metal ion binding interactions, with a further potential use as a new environmental sensor appropriate for fast on-site testing of polluted soils.  相似文献

A preconcentration study based on the cloud point phenomenon was carried out for a set of triazine herbicides, three of them chloro-substituted and three of them methylthio-substituted. Concentration factors and recoveries were calculated as function of the percentage of the non-ionic surfactant Triton X-114 employed. From these values, obtained from a cloud point extraction (CPE) procedure, the distribution coefficient between the Triton X-114 micelles and water, Kc, prior to CPE was calculated for each triazine and related to the corresponding octanol-water partition coefficient, Kow. In order to confirm the results obtained with the triazine herbicides, two sets of data from chemically different organic pollutants--organophosporous and chlorophenols--obtained from the literature were assessed, concluding that they display a similar behaviour to that of the triazine herbicides. This can be used to predict the CPE behaviour of other organic pollutants from their octanol-water partition coefficients. The Kc values were compared with the analyte concentration ratio in the surfactant-rich phase and aqueous phase (Ksa) with a view to obtaining a link between the analyte behaviour prior to and after cloud point extraction procedures.  相似文献

In this work, traditional cloud point extraction (CPE) pattern was changed and improved by the proposed rapidly synergistic CPE. Using octanol as cloud point revulsant and synergic reagent, non-ionic surfactant Triton X-114 (TX-114) accomplished room temperature extraction rapidly without heating in water bath. The improved extraction was named as rapidly synergistic cloud point extraction (RS-CPE). Compared with traditional CPE, RS-CPE was accomplished in 1 min with considerably high extraction efficiency. The improved CPE pattern was coupled with flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS) for the extraction and detection of trace lead in real and certified water samples with satisfactory analytical results. The proposed method greatly improved the sensitivity of FAAS for the determination of lead. Under the optimal conditions, the limit of detection (LOD) for lead was 4.3 μg/L, with enhancement factor (EF) of 39. Factors influencing RS-CPE efficiency, such as concentrations of surfactant TX-114 and octanol, concentration of chelating agent, pH, conditions of phase separation, environmental temperature, salt effect and instrumental conditions, were studied systematically.  相似文献

以聚苯乙烯-二乙烯苯接枝磷钨酸季铵盐为三相相转移催化剂,以H2O2为氧化剂,KCl为助催化剂,研究了环戊烯(CPE)合成环氧环戊烷(CPEO)的无溶剂工艺。 讨论了催化剂和助催化剂用量、反应温度、反应时间、环戊烯与H2O2摩尔比对反应的影响。 确定了无溶剂环氧环戊烷合成反应的条件为(以0.056 mol H2O2计):催化剂1.0 g、助催化剂0.025 g、反应温度40 ℃、反应时间5 h、n(CPE)∶n(H2O2)=2.1∶1.0。 CPEO的平均收率约为96%。 催化剂回收重复使用6次活性无明显降低。  相似文献

A new combined method including fiber optic-linear array detection spectrophotometry (FO-LADS) and cloud point extraction (CPE) was developed using a cylindrical micro cell for simultaneous preconcentration and determination of different species. The CPE and FO-LADS methods have good matching conditions for combination because FO-LADS is suitable as a detection technique for the low volume of remained phase obtained after CPE. This combination was carried out using 50 μL cylindrical micro cell and then employed for simultaneous preconcentration and determination of cobalt and nickel.Cloud point extraction method was based on the chromogenic reaction of metal ions and 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol (PAN) and then preconcentration of formed complexes using octylphenoxypolyethoxyethanol (Triton X-114). The remained phase after CPE was transferred into cylindrical micro cell and located at the cell holder of FO-LADS. The spectra of cobalt and nickel complexes were collected by FO-LADS and processed for ordinary and first derivative spectrophotometry.Optimization of different parameters was evaluated. Under optimum conditions, calibration curves were linear in the range of 0.6-30.0 and 0.1-15.0 μg L−1 with detection limits of 0.2 and 0.04 μg L−1 for Co and Ni respectively. The relative standard deviations (R.S.D.s) were lower than 4%. The obtained enhancement factors were 198 and 199 for cobalt and nickel, respectively.The proposed method was compared with the other methods and applied to the analysis of several real and spiked samples.  相似文献

The effect of chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) on the properties of poly (acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylic) (ASA) was investigated. As an impact modifier, CPE effectively toughened ASA. With the addition of 15 phr CPE, the impact strength increased from 25.1 kJ/m2 to 41.7 kJ/m2. The morphology of the blends exhibited heterogeneous structure and correlated well with the results of impact strength. The glass transition temperature corresponding with ASA remained constant, indicating that CPE did not change the dual-phase structure of ASA. In rheological tests, the enhancement of storage modulus and complex viscosity of ASA, together with Cole-Cole plots, indicated that certain changes in phase structure existed after CPE content exceeded 8 phr. Thermogravimetric analysis results suggested that CPE slightly decreased the onset degradation temperature. Our study showed that CPE, as an impact modifier, can effectively improve the toughness of ASA.  相似文献

A new methodological approach, for studying metal ion binding interactions with a clay mineral is presented. A carbon paste electrode (CPE) modified with vermiculite clay mineral was used as a model for a soil-like solid phase and Cu(II) ions were chosen as the test ions. The application of this model is demonstrated and explained by investigating the influence of seven pesticides (bromofenoxim, fenamiphos, phenmedipham, atrazine and its three natural degradation products) on the uptake of Cu(II) ions from a solution to the vermiculite, included in a CPE. Different conditions (pH, concentration, exposure time etc.) were considered and the amount of bound copper, accumulated when no potential was applied, was then determined by stripping voltammetry.  相似文献
