Linear vibration absorbers are a valuable tool used to suppressvibrations due to harmonic excitation in structural systems. Whilelimited evaluation of the performance of nonlinear vibrationabsorbers for nonlinear structures exists in the literature forsingle mode structures, none exists for multi-mode structures.Consequently, nonlinear multiple-degrees-of-freedom structures areevaluated. The theory of nonlinear normal modes is extended toinclude consideration of modal damping, excitation and smalllinear coupling, allowing estimation of vibration absorberperformance. The dynamics of the N +1-degrees-of-freedom system areshown to reduce to those of a two-degrees-of-freedom system on afour-dimensional nonlinear modal manifold, thereby simplifying theanalysis. Quantitative agreement is shown to require a higher-order model which is recommended for future investigation.  相似文献

Determination of the chaos onset in some mechanical systems with several equilibrium positions are analyzed. Namely, the snap-through truss and the oscillator with a nonlinear dissipation force, under the external periodical excitation, are considered. Two approaches are used for the chaos onset determination. First, Padé and quasi-Padé approximants are used to construct closed homoclinic trajectories for a case of small dissipation. Convergence condition used earlier in the theory of nonlinear normal vibration modes as well conditions at infinity make possible to evaluate initial amplitude values for the trajectories with admissible precision. Mutual instability of phase trajectories is used as criterion of chaotic behavior in nonlinear systems for a case of not small dissipation. The numerical realization of the Lyapunov stability definition gives us a possibility to observe a process of appearance and fast enlargement of the chaotic behavior regions if some selected parameters of the dynamical systems under consideration are changing.  相似文献

This paper presents a new method of finding the principal modes of nonlinear vibration systems, by means of which the problem of finding principal modes of nonlinear systems is transferred to the problem of finding real roots of a set of algebraic equations. The method is applicable to various kinds of nonlinear vibration systems with many degrees of freedom, and is simple in calculation. This paper is devoted to investigate the nonlinear vibration characteristics and active control of composite lattice sandwich plates using piezoelectric actuator and sensor. Three types of the sandwich plates with pyramidal, tetrahedral and Kagome cores are considered. In the structural modeling, the von Kármán large deflection theory is applied to establish the strain–displacement relations. The nonlinear equations of motion of the structures are derived by Hamilton’s principle with the assumed mode method. The nonlinear free and forced vibration responses of the lattice sandwich plates are calculated. The velocity feedback control (VFC) and H control methods are applied to design the controller. The nonlinear vibration responses of the sandwich plates with pyramidal, tetrahedral and Kagome cores are compared. The influences of the ply angle of the laminated face sheets, the thicknesses of the lattice core and face sheets and the excitation amplitude on the nonlinear vibration behaviors of the sandwich plates are investigated. The correctness of the H control algorithm is verified by comparing with the experiment results reported in the literature. The controlled nonlinear vibration response of the sandwich plate is computed and compared with that of the uncontrolled structural system. Numerical results indicate that the VFC and H control methods can effectively suppress the large amplitude vibration of the composite lattice sandwich plates.

基于时滞加速度反馈控制策略对索-梁组合结构进行振动控制。根据Hamilton原理推导了索-梁组合结构非线性振动控制方程,运用多尺度法得到时滞反馈作用下索-梁组合结构主共振的一阶近似解,得出系统响应与控制参数的关系以及响应峰值和临界激励值与时滞参数的表达式。结果表明,主共振的响应存在多解和跳跃现象,调节控制增益和时滞值,可以有效抑制大幅振动。  相似文献

研究两自由度参数激励系统的非线性动力学与控制问题.利用Lagrange方程建立含反馈控制的参激捅及其驱动机构组成的系统动力学方程,以多尺度方法获得一阶近似控制方程.然后,对系统受一阶摸态参激主共振与一、二阶模态间3:1内共振联合作用下的幅额响应及其稳定性,以及反馈参数对系统稳态行为的影响作了详细分析.结果表明,响应的稳定域位置和大小取决于位移反馈,位移立方反馈改变了系统的非线性程度,速度反馈类似于阻尼,可使系统呈现自激振动特性.  相似文献

研究了结构非线性振动及其控制系统的等效力学模型建立问题,对结构进行等效线性化处理;对状态变量的观测,仅测量结构的前几个位移。将随机激励和观测噪声等维化处理后,导出了结构非线性振动及其控制系统的等效力学模型。通过等效力学模型的应用研究,得出了多高层结构在风与地震作用下的多维与一维等效力学模型、等效振型力学模型及其线性力学模型,给出了等效力学模型在多高层结构自适应抗风抗震控制中的应用。  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the stabilization control for the offshore steel jacket platforms subject to wave-induced force. Two state feedback stabilization control schemes are proposed to reduce the vibration amplitudes of the systems. One scheme is that for the systems without actuator time-delay, a state feedback controller is designed. Compared with the nonlinear controller, both the control force and the vibration amplitudes of the systems under the state feedback controller are much reduced; and compared with the dynamic output feedback controller and the integral sliding mode controller, the required control force under the state feedback controller are significantly reduced. The other scheme is that based on the integral inequality approach, a delay-dependent state feedback controller, which can be solved by using the cone complementarity algorithm, is developed to control the systems with actuator time-delays. Compared with the state feedback controller, the delay-dependent state feedback controller is less conservative with actuator time-delays. In addition, it is capable of improving the control performance of the offshore platforms significantly, which are illustrated by simulation results.  相似文献

In this paper a new approach is presented to reduce vibrations for one- and two-dimensional mechanical structures, as beam or thin plates, by means of several piezoelectric transducers shunted with a proper electric network system. The governing equations of the whole system are coupled to each other through the direct and converse piezoelectric effect. More in detail, the mechanical equations are expressed in accordance with the modal theory considering n vibration modes and the electrical equations reduce to the one-dimensional charge equation of electrostatics for each of n considered piezoelectric transducers. In this electromechanical system, a shunting electric device forms an electric subsystem working as multi degrees of freedom (dof’s) damped vibration absorber for the mechanical subsystem. Herein, it is introduced a proper transformation of the electric coordinates in order to approximate the governing equations for the whole shunted system with n uncoupled, single mode piezoelectric shunting systems that can be readily damped by the methods reported in literature. A further numerical optimisation problem on the spatial distribution of the piezoelectric elements allows to achieve a better performance. Numerical case studies of two relevant systems, a double clamped beam and a fully clamped plate, allow to take into account issues relative to the proposed approach. Laboratory experiments carried out in real time on a beam clamped at both ends consent to validate the proposed technique.  相似文献

The four modes of vibration of an isotropic rectangular plate with an inclined crack are investigated. It is assumed that the crack remains continuous and its center is located at the center of the plate. The governing nonlinear equation of the transverse vibration of the plate with the plate boundary conditions being simply-supported on all edges is developed. The multiple scale perturbation method is utilized as the solution procedure to find the steady-state frequency response equations for all the four modes of vibration. The equations for the free and forced vibrations are derived and their frequency responses are presented. A special case of large-scale excitation force has also been considered. The parameter sensitivity analysis for the angle of crack, length of crack and the position of the external applied excitation force is performed. It has been shown that according to the aspect ratio of the plate, the vibration modes can have either nonlinear hardening effect or nonlinear softening behavior.  相似文献

A nonlinear combined structure consisted of isolator and absorber with time-delayed coupling active control is proposed in this study, whose vibration suppression effectiveness and control mechanism are investigated. The mathematical model of the combined structure is obtained and stability analysis for different structural parameters and time delay are firstly carried out, which provides a general guideline for the ranges of active control parameters. Then the combined effect of nonlinearity and time delay on vibration suppression and energy transfer is discussed in details based on the analysis of control mechanism by the method of multiple scales. Since the time-delayed nonlinear absorber can induce internal resonance between different modes, the vibration energy at low frequencies can be transferred to high frequency mode and the vibration of the fundamental frequency range is thus suppressed. This paper provides a novel application of internal resonance in vibration suppression of an Absorber–Isolator-Combined structure.  相似文献

We consider parametrically excited vibrations of shallow cylindrical panels. The governing system of two coupled nonlinear partial differential equations is discretized by using the Bubnov–Galerkin method. The computations are simplified significantly by the application of computer algebra, and as a result low dimensional models of shell vibrations are readily obtained. After applying numerical continuation techniques and ideas from dynamical systems theory, complete bifurcation diagrams are constructed. Our principal aim is to investigate the interaction between different modes of shell vibrations under parametric excitation. Results for system models with four of the lowest modes are reported. We essentially investigate periodic solutions, their stability and bifurcations within the range of excitation frequency that corresponds to the parametric resonances at the lowest mode of vibration.  相似文献

Nonlinear modal interactions have recently become the focus of intense research in micro-resonators for their use to improve oscillator performance and probe the frontiers of fundamental physics. Understanding and controlling nonlinear coupling between vibrational modes is critical for the development of advanced micromechanical devices. This article aims to theoretically investigate the influence of antisymmetry mode on nonlinear dynamic characteristics of electrically actuated microbeam via considering nonlinear modal interactions. Under higher-order modes excitation, two nonlinear coupled flexural modes to describe microbeam-based resonators are obtained by using Hamilton’s principle and Galerkin method. Then, the Method of Multiple Scales is applied to determine the response and stability of the system for small amplitude vibration. Through Hopf bifurcation analysis, the bifurcation sets for antisymmetry mode vibration are theoretically derived, and the mechanism of energy transfer between antisymmetry mode and symmetry mode is detailed studied. The pseudo-trajectory processing method is introduced to investigate the influence of external drive on amplitude and bifurcation behavior. Results show that nonlinear modal interactions can transit vibration energy from one mode to nearby mode. In what follows, an effective way is proposed to suppress midpoint displacement of the microbeam and to reduce the possibility of large deflection. The quantitative relationship between vibrational modes is also obtained. The displacement of one mode can be predicted by detecting another mode, which shows great potential of developing parameter design in MEMS. Finally, numerical simulations are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

An optimal time-delay feedback control method is provided to mitigate the primary resonance of a single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) subjected to a Lorentz force excited by a longitudinal magnetic field. The nonlinear governing equations of motion for the SWCNT under longitudinal magnetic field are derived and the modulation equations are obtained by using the method of multiple scales. The regions of the stable feedback gain are worked out by using the stability conditions of eigenvalue equation. Taking the attenuation ratio as the objective function and the stable vibration regions as constrained conditions, the optimal control parameters are worked out by using minimum optimal method. The optimal controllers are designed to control the dynamic behaviors of tile nonlinear vibration systems. It is found that the optimal feedback gain obtained by the optimal method can enhance the control performance of the primary resonance of SWCNT devices.  相似文献

This paper presents an approach of achieving high performance and robustness for matched uncertain multi-input multi-output linear systems with external disturbances and multiple state-delays, which are often encountered in practice and are frequently the sources of instability. This scheme is based on composite nonlinear feedback and integral sliding mode control methods. The selection of nonlinear function and the existence of sliding mode are two important issues, which have been addressed. The control law is designed to guarantee the existence of the sliding mode around the nonlinear surface, and the damping ratio of the closed-loop system is increased as the output approaches the set-point. Simulation results are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed method as a promising way for controlling similar nonlinear systems.  相似文献

This paper presents a wavelet-based approach of deformation identification and vibration control of beam-type plates with geometrically nonlinear deflection using piezoelectric sensors and actuators. The identification is performed by transferring the nonlinear equations of identifying deflection into a system of solvable nonlinear algebraic equations in terms of the measurable electric charges and currents on piezoelectric sensors. After that, a control law of negative feedback of the identified signals of deflection and velocity is employed, and the weighted residual method is chosen to determine control voltages applied on the piezoelectric actuators. Due to that the scaling function transform is like a low-pass filter which can automatically filter out high-order signals of vibration or disturbance from the measurement and the controller employed here, this control approach does not lead to the undesired phenomenon of control instability which is generated by the spilling over of high-order signals. Finally, some numerical simulations are carried out to show the efficiency of the proposed approach.  相似文献

An approach for implementing an active nonlinear vibration absorber for flexible structures is presented. The technique exploits the saturation phenomenon exhibited by multidegree-of-freedom systems with quadratic nonlinearities possessing two-to-one autoparametric resonances. The strategy consists of introducing second-order controllers and coupling each of them with the plant through a sensor and an actuator, where both the feedback and control signals are quadratic. Once the structure is forced near its resonances, the oscillatory response is suppressed through the saturation phenomenon. We present theoretical and experimental results of the application of the proposed vibration absorber. The structure consists of a cantilever beam, the feedback signal is generated by a strain gage, and the actuation is achieved through piezoceramic patches. The equations of motion are developed and analyzed through perturbation techniques and numerical simulation. Then, the strategy is tested by assembling the controllers in electronic components and suppressing the vibrations of the first and second modes of two beams.  相似文献

A control using Proportional and/or Derivative feedback (PD-control) is applied on a piecewise linear beam system with a flushing one-sided spring element for steady-state vibration amplitude mitigation. Two control objectives are formulated: (1) minimize the transversal vibration amplitude of the midpoint of the beam at the frequency where the first harmonic resonance occurs, (2) achieve this in a larger (low) excitation frequency range, where the lowest nonlinear normal mode dominates the response. Experimentally realizable combinations of PD-control are evaluated for both control objectives. Eventually objective (1) is realized by applying proportional control only, whereas derivative control is selected to realize objective (2). The vibration reduction that is achieved in simulations and validated by experiments is very significant for both objectives. Current results obtained with active PD-control are compared with earlier results obtained using a passive dynamic vibration absorber.  相似文献

随着航空航天等领域中实际工程结构的大型化和柔性化,结构的非线性振动和主动振动控制问题越来越凸显.分析和处理此类结构出现的复杂振动问题的关键在于建立系统的非线性动力学模型与状态空间模型.对于由柔性部件、刚体、连接部件构成的复合柔性结构,由于各部件之间的振动耦合效应,单个柔性部件在悬臂、简支和自由等静定边界下的模态与结构的真实模态有较大差异.为此,本文提出复合柔性结构全局模态的解析提取方法,通过全局模态离散得到系统非线性动力学模型,从而构建状态空间模型.该方法采用笛卡尔坐标描述系统的运动,建立系统的运动方程;结合描述柔性部件的偏微分方程、刚体的常微分运动方程、连接界面处力、力矩、位移和转角的匹配条件以及系统的边界条件,利用分离变量法给出统一形式的频率方程,获取系统的固有频率和解析函数表征的全局模态.这里提出的全局模态提取方法不仅便于复合柔性结构固有频率和全局模态的参数化分析,而且为建立复合柔性结构低维非线性动力学模型和状态空间模型提供了有效的途径,对于推进这类结构的非线性动力学分析与主动振动控制研究具有重要意义.   相似文献
