We demonstrate coherent control of two logical qubits encoded in a decoherence free subspace (DFS) of four dipolar-coupled protons in an NMR quantum information processor. A pseudopure fiducial state is created in the DFS, and a unitary logical qubit entangling operator evolves the system to a logical Bell state. The four-spin molecule is partially aligned by a liquid crystal solvent, which introduces strong dipolar couplings among the spins. Although the system Hamiltonian is never fully specified, we demonstrate high fidelity control over the logical degrees of freedom. In fact, the DFS encoding leads to higher fidelity control than is available in the full four-spin Hilbert space.  相似文献

核磁共振系统是实现量子计算的有效物理体系之一.但是随着量子位数的不断增加,运用核磁共振技术实现计算任务存在明显的局限性,原因之一是量子计算的初始态-赝纯态,随着量子位数的增加,信号指数性的衰减,量子位数越多制备赝纯态所需的脉冲序列越复杂,越不容易实现,不利于量子位数的扩展;另外,由于核磁共振中制备的赝纯态实际上也是一种混合态,用于实现量子信息任务时存在一定的争议.该文介绍的利用仲氢诱导极化技术(PHIP)制备出的实验初态,能够解决初态处于混合态的问题,并且信号强度显著增强,作者利用此态实现了 ALTADENA 条件下的两量子位的 Deutsch-Jozsa 量子算法和 PASADENA 条件下的三量子位的Deutsch-Like 量子算法.

量子纠缠是实现量子计算和量子通信的核心基础,本文提出了在金刚石氮-空位色心(NV centers)自旋系综与超导量子电路耦合的混合系统中实现两个分离量子节点之间纠缠的理论方案.在该混合系统中,把金刚石NV centers自旋系综和与之耦合的超导共面谐振器视为一个量子节点,两个量子节点之间通过一个空的超导共面谐振器连接.具有较长相干时间的NV centers自旋系综作为一个量子存储器,用于制备、存储和发送量子信息;易于外部操控的超导量子电路可执行量子逻辑门操作,快速调控量子信息.为了实现两个分离量子节点之间的纠缠,首先对系统的哈密顿量进行正则变换,将其等价为两个NV centers自旋系综与同一个超导共面谐振器之间的JC耦合;然后采用NV centers自旋-光子混合比特编码的方式,通过调节超导共面谐振器的谐振频率,精确控制体系演化时间,高保真度地实现了两个分离量子节点之间的量子纠缠.本方案还可以进一步扩展和集成,用于构建多节点纠缠的分布式量子网络.  相似文献

对于几类常见的量子态, 对自旋压缩和量子Fisher信息进行了比较研究.得到量子Fisher信息的表达式,以Fisher信息为基础,给出了量子纠缠的判据,结果表明:比较于自旋压缩,该判据有明显的优势.(1).对于两个Qubit的对称态,该判据与自旋压缩,concurrence完全等价;(2).对于两个Qubit的非对称态的纠缠,自旋压缩不能检验其纠缠,但对于部分态,该判据也能检验;(3).对于Dicke态, 自旋压缩不能检验其纠缠,但该判据能检验且完全等价于concurrence.  相似文献

Here we report photon antibunching and magneto-spectroscopy of a single electron spin bound to a fluorine donor in a ZnMgSe/ZnSe QW nanostructure. The results confirm the presence of an optically controllable lambda-system which allows the optical manipulation of the electron bound to the neutral fluorine donor as a spin qubit. Moreover, we achieved optical spin pumping of the qubit by resonant excitation of each of the four allowed transitions of the lambda system. We verified the spin transfer by detecting single photons when the bound electron decays into the opposite spin state. The results presented here constitutes an elegant initialization and the read-out procedure of the electron spin qubit bound to a fluorine donor which are prerequisite for coherent optical control of an impurity based solid-state spin qubit.  相似文献

We show that a local unitary(LU) equivalent Fredkin gate can be obtained from the free evolution of three mixed-spin qubits by virtue of numerical simulation with only one step.The spin-1 qubit acts as the control qubit,and two spin-1/2 qubits,which interact with the spin-1 qubit via the first neighbor spin interaction,respectively,play the role of target qubits.We also examine the imperfect Fredkin gate operation by considering the effects of nonidentical coupling constants,uniform and inhomogeneous magnetic fields.  相似文献

This paper investigates the entanglement dynamics of the system, composed of two qubits A and B with Heisenberg XX spin interactation. There is a third controller qubit C, which only has Dzyaloshinskii--Moriya (DM) spin-orbit interaction with the qubit B. It is found that depending on the initial state of the controller qubit C and DM interaction, the entanglement of the system displays amplification and sudden birth effects. These effects indicate that one can control the entanglement of the system, which may be helpful for quantum information processing.  相似文献

In general, the proton NMR spectra of chiral molecules aligned in the chiral liquid crystalline media are broad and featureless. The analyses of such intricate NMR spectra and their routine use for spectral discrimination of R and S optical enantiomers are hindered. A method is developed in the present study which involves spin state selective two dimensional correlation of higher quantum coherence to its single quantum coherence of a chemically isolated group of coupled protons. This enables the spin state selective detection of proton single quantum transitions based on the spin states of the passive nuclei. The technique provides the relative signs and magnitudes of the couplings by overcoming the problems of enantiomer discrimination, spectral complexity and poor resolution, permitting the complete analyses of the otherwise broad and featureless spectra. A non-selective 180 degrees pulse in the middle of MQ dimension retains all the remote passive couplings. This accompanied by spin selective MQ-SQ conversion leads to spin state selective coherence transfer. The removal of field inhomogeneity contributes to dramatically enhanced resolution. The difference in the cumulative additive values of chemical shift anisotropies and the passive couplings, between the enantiomers, achieved by detecting Nth quantum coherence of N magnetically equivalent spins provides enhanced separation of enantiomer peaks. The developed methodology has been demonstrated on four different chiral molecules with varied number of interacting spins, each having a chiral centre.  相似文献

The general one-particle spin states are considered. It is shown that information contained in a spin-1/2 state can be recorded in an equivalent form with the help of three mixed completely decoherent qubit states. The density matrix of such a system has the form of the tensor product of three diagonal matrices. The linear operator defined in the space of one-particle spin states generates some transform of the tensor products of the diagonal matrices. Conventional quantum computing schemes are incompatible with nanometer-scale "hardware," where the closely packed spins cannot be individually controlled. We report the first experimental demonstration of a global control paradigm: logical qubits delocalize along a spin chain and are addressed via the two terminal spins. Using NMR studies on a three-spin molecule, we implement a globally clocked quantum mirror that outperforms the equivalent swap network. We then extend the protocol to support dense qubit storage and demonstrate this experimentally via Deutsch and Deutsch-Jozsa algorithms.  相似文献

A major problem in dynamic 1D 13C MAS NMR concerns the exchange between magnetically inequivalent, but chemically equivalent sites, whose signals are not resolved in the regular 1D spectrum. This difficulty may be overcome by properly preparing the initial nonequilibrium state of the spin system in the exchange experiments. In the present paper we discuss the advantages and limitations of several such experiments already in use and propose a new sequence, which we term SELDOM-ODESSA. Unlike the other 1D-exchange methods, this experiment yields pure absorption spectra that can more readily be analyzed quantitatively. The experiment is a hybrid comprising a SELDOM sequence, for selective excitation of one of the spinning sideband manifolds in the spectrum, followed by the ODESSA sequence, which induces alternate polarization in the excited sideband manifold. The evolution of the spectrum following this sequence provides information on both the exchange between congruent sites belonging to the same group of equivalent nuclei, and the exchange between inequivalent sites. Results are presented for a tropolone sample specifically enriched in carbon-13 at the carbonyl and hydroxyl sites. The dominant exchange mechanism in this sample involves spin diffusion. The various spin exchange processes in this sample, in the presence and absence of proton decoupling during the mixing time, are measured and discussed.  相似文献

We report coherent operation of a singlet-triplet qubit controlled by the spatial arrangement of two confined electrons in an adjacent double quantum dot that is electrostatically coupled to the qubit. This four-dot system is the specific device geometry needed for two-qubit operations of a two-electron spin qubit. We extract the strength of the capacitive coupling between qubit and adjacent double quantum dot and show that the present geometry allows fast conditional gate operation, opening pathways toward implementation of a universal set of gates for singlet-triplet spin qubits.  相似文献

An experimentally feasible strong coupling system between a spin ensemble and a superconducting qubit is studied. The coupling strength can be exponentially enhanced by applying the squeezing transformations to the system. By means of the two spin ensembles commonly coupled to a superconducting qubit, a set of universal nonadiabatic holonomic single‐qubit quantum gates can be realized in a decoherence‐free subspace. Furthermore, this proposal is robust with respect to decay of the system parameters, and it is experimentally feasible with currently available technology.  相似文献

This paper shows that a proposal for implementing all possible two-operator positive-operator-value measurements of single spin qubit can be obtained via introducing another spin qubit as ancilla. The realization process is accomplished from the free evolution of the Heisenberg XX model by considering nearest-neighbour spin interaction. A controlled-NOT gate, which is a significant operator for this scheme is also constructed and the generalisation to multiple-operator is considered finally.  相似文献

ENDOR spectroscopy was used for studying methylene proton couplings in the 6-yl (or H-addition) radical in a single crystal of 1-methyluracil at 4.2K. The two methylene protons were magnetically equivalent in all crystal (radical) orientations in the magnetic field, indicating proton quantum exchange. The two protons compose magnetically single entity with spin I=1. The observed small ENDOR line splittings of about 0.60MHz agree well with the theoretical expectations for such a system.  相似文献

The Nitrogen Vacancy (NV) center is becoming a promising qubit for quantum information processing. The defect has a long coherence time at room temperature and it allows spin state initialized and read out by laser and manipulated by microwave pulses. It has been utilized as a ultra sensi- tive probe for magnetic fields and remote spins as well. Here, we review the recent progresses in experimental demonstrations based on NV centers. We first introduce our work on implementation of the Deutsch- Jozsa algorithm with a single electronic spin in diamond. Then the quantum nature of the bath around the center spin is revealed and continuous wave dynamical decoupling has been demonstrated. By applying dynamical decoupling, a multi-pass quantum metrology protocol is realized to enhance phase estimation. In the final, we demonstrated NV center can be regarded as a ultra-sensitive sensor spin to implement nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) imaging at nanoscale.  相似文献

The geometric phase of a central qubit coupling to the surrounding XY chain in a transverse field at finite temperature is studied in this Letter. An explicit analytical expression of the geometric phase for coupled qubit is obtained in the weak coupling limit when the surrounding spin chain is in a thermal equilibrium state. It is shown that the GP displays dramatic change around the quantum phase transition points of the spin chain at zero and a finite range of temperature by numerical analysis. The result reveals that the GP can be used as a tool to detect QPT when the spin chain system is at finite temperature.  相似文献
