Fluorescence spectra of strontium monoiodide excited by Ar++ and Kr+ laser lines have been analyzed by Fourier transform spectrometry. Rotational levels have been populated either directly or after collisional relaxation: (i) in D2Sigma+ (v = 0, 1) by ultraviolet lines of Ar++, inducing numerous fluorescence transitions ending in the levels v = 0-3 of the strongly interacting A2Pi and B2Sigma+ states, (ii) in A2Pi3/2 (v = 0-4) by Kr+ line at 676.44 nm, de-exciting into transitions to X2Sigma+ (v = 0-6). Deperturbed constants for A2Pi and B2Sigma+ states and A approximately B interaction parameter are calculated from the numerical treatment of D2Sigma+ (v = 0, 1) --> A2Pi (v = 0-3) approximately B2Sigma+ (v = 0-3) transitions. Rotational constants for D2Sigma+ (v = 0, 1) are obtained for the first time. The wavenumbers of some 670 fluorescence lines are cataloged. Copyright 1999 Academic Press.  相似文献

The demonstration of a 69.8?nm laser on 3p 3P2 - 3s 1P1 (J=2-1) transition of Ne-like Ar pumped by capillary discharge is reported in this Letter. A main current of 12?kA with rise time of 43?ns was chosen to generate the plasma in a 35?cm long capillary filling with pressure of Ar as low as 11?Pa, resulting in a gain coefficient of 0.34?cm(-1) and gain-length product of 11 at 69.8?nm. Also observed is a weak laser on 3p 3D2 - 3s 3P1 (J=2-1) transition of Ne-like Ar at 72.6?nm in the same condition. In addition, multiwavelength lasing at 46.9, 69.8, and 72.6?nm was simultaneously realized in a capillary discharge plasma column, conditioning the pressure of Ar to 13?Pa.  相似文献

The (d, τ) proton pick-up reactions on 36Ar and 38Ar have been studied at an incident energy of 52 MeV. Differential cross sections were measured and spectroscopic factors were extracted for transitions to 14 states of 35Cl and 13 states of 37Cl, respectively. Many new 52+ states and nearly the complete 1d52 strength have been observed in both nuclei. The width of the 1d52 spectral distribution is appreciably smaller for the semi-closed shell nucleus 38Ar than for 36Ar and 40Ar. The results are compared with those from the 40Ar(d, τ) reaction and proton stripping reactions on each of the three argon isotopes. Recent shell model calculations proved to be well suited to describe excitation energies as well as spectroscopic factors for the low-lying positiveparity states. Mirror relations were established for the nuclei 35Ar and 35Cl. In 37Cl we succeeded in observing a weak component of a 1p proton hole state at a separation energy of only 18 MeV.  相似文献

We have studied polarized electron collisions with Ar in which the target is simultaneously ionized and excited to form Ar+(3p(4)(1D)4p) states. We measured the integrated Stokes parameters of the subsequent fluorescence emitted by the (2)F(7/2), (2)F(5/2), (2)D(5/2), and (2)P(3/2) states along the direction of electron polarization. The Rubin-Bederson hypothesis is shown to hold for the L and S multipoles of these states. The electric quadrupole and hexadecapole of the 1D core are derived. By recoupling these moments with the electric quadrupole moment of the 4p electron, we calculate higher moments of the total ionic orbital angular momentum, including its hexacontatetrapole (64-pole) moment.  相似文献

A laser probing investigation has yielded the lifetimes of the 3s(2)3p(4)(1D)3d (2)G(7/2,9/2) metastable doublet states of Ar+. The results, obtained with the CRYRING ion storage ring of Stockholm, are 3.0+/-0.4 and 2.1+/-0.1 s, respectively. Comparisons with theoretical values calculated with two independent theoretical approaches, i.e., the pseudorelativistic Hartree-Fock method and the multiconfiguration Breit-Pauli approach, have allowed us to establish the unexpected and extraordinary strong contribution of an electric octupole (E3) transition to the ground state, in addition to the M1 decay channels to the 3d ;{2,4}F states and the E2 contributions to the 4s 2P, 2D states.  相似文献

The level structure in neutron-deficient nucleus 91Ru was investigated via the 58Ni(36Ar,2 plnγ)Ru reaction at a beam energy of 111 MeV.Charged particles,neutrons,and y-rays were emitted in this reaction and detected by the DIAMANT CsI ball,Neutron Wall,and the EXOGAM Ge clover array,respectively.In addition to the previously reported levels in 91Ru,new low-to-medium spin states were observed.Angular correlation and linear polarization measurements were performed to unambiguously determine spins and parities of the excited states in 91 Ru.The low-spin states of 91 Ru exhibit a scheme of multi-quasiparticle excitations,which is very similar to that of the neighboring N=47 isotone.These excitations have been interpreted in terms of the shell model.The calculations performed in the configuration space(p3/2,f5/2,p1/2,g9/2)reproduce the experimental excitation energies reasonably well,supporting the interpretation of the newly assigned positive-parity states in terms of the three quasiparticle configurationsπ(g9/2)^-2v(g9/2^-1 and v(g9/2)^-3.  相似文献

A theoretical study of the effect of an atomically thin rare gas layer on the dynamics of excited electronic states at metal surfaces is presented for the case of a few mono-layers of Ar on a Cu(1 0 0) surface. We develop a 3D-microscopic model with predictive capabilities of the interaction of an electron with an Ar layer physisorbed on a metal surface. It takes into account the 3D structure of the Ar layer as well as its dielectric character. The dynamics of the excited electron on the surface is treated within a wave-packet propagation approach. The calculations show that two different types of excited states are present at the Ar/Cu(1 0 0) surface. (i) Image states that are repelled into vacuum as compared to their position on clean Cu(1 0 0) surfaces, leading to a decrease of their binding energies and to an increase of their lifetimes. (ii) Quantum-well resonances, corresponding to quasi-stationary states localised inside the Ar layer; they are associated with the quantisation of the conduction band in the finite size Ar layer. The present results on image states nicely agree with very recent time-resolved two-photon-photo-emission experiments by Berthold, Feulner and Höfer.  相似文献

The N = 28 shell closure has been investigated via the 46Ar(d,p)47Ar transfer reaction in inverse kinematics. Energies and spectroscopic factors of the neutron p(3/2), p(1/2), and f(5/2) states in 47Ar were determined and compared to those of the 49Ca isotone. We deduced a reduction of the N = 28 gap by 330(90) keV and spin-orbit weakenings of approximately 10(2) and 45(10)% for the f and p states, respectively. Such large variations for the f and p spin-orbit splittings could be accounted for by the proton-neutron tensor force and by the density dependence of the spin-orbit interaction, respectively. This contrasts with the picture of the spin-orbit interaction as a surface term only.  相似文献

A plunger set-up has been designed and constructed to measure picosecond nuclear half-lives using recoil distance method (RDM). The system has been used to measure the half-lives of nuclear states in35Cl,37,38Ar and40K. The shortest half-life measured with the system isT 1/2=0.36(14) ps for the 4366 keV (8+) state and the longest half-life isT 1/2=1.10(7) ns for the 2543 keV (7+) state in40K.  相似文献

Densities of Ar metastable states 1s_5 and 1s_3 are measured by using the tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy(TDLAS) in Ar and Ar/O2 mixture dual-frequency capacitively coupled plasma(DF-CCP). We investigate the effects of high-frequency(HF, 60 MHz) power, low-frequency(LF, 2 MHz) power, and working pressure on the density of Ar metastable states for three different gas components(0%, 5%, and 10% oxygen mixed in argon). The dependence of Ar metastable state density on the oxygen content is also studied at different working pressures. It is found that densities of Ar metastable states in discharges with different gas components exhibit different behaviors as HF power increases. With the increase of HF power, the metastable density increases rapidly at the initial stage, and then tends to be saturated at a higher HF power. With a small fraction(5% or 10%) of oxygen added in argon plasma, a similar change of the Ar metastable density with HF power can be observed, but the metastable density is saturated at a higher HF power than in the pure argon discharge. In the DF-CCP, the metastable density is found to be higher than in a single frequency discharge, and has weak dependence on LF power. As working pressure increases, the metastable state density first increases and then decreases,and the pressure value, at which the density maximum occurs, decreases with oxygen content increasing. Besides, adding a small fraction of oxygen into argon plasma will significantly dwindle the metastable state density as a result of quenching loss by oxygen molecules.  相似文献

建立利用电感耦合等离子体串联质谱测定食品中钙和氯的分析方法。针对Ca的高丰度同位素40Ca受到来自等离子气40Ar的干扰,35Cl受到来自16O18OH的严重干扰,在MS/MS模式下,利用碰撞/反应池技术,以H2为反应气,使40Ar+与H2发生反应,而40Ca+不与H2发生反应,利用H2原位质量法消除40Ar+对40Ca+的干扰;而35Cl+则能与H2发生质量转移反应生成H235Cl+,通过测定H235Cl+消除16O18OH+对35Cl+的干扰。Ca和Cl在0.0~100.0 μg·L-1的浓度范围内线性关系良好,线性相关系数(R2)≥0.999 9,Ca和Cl的检出限分别为0.061和2.32 μg·L-1。采用系列国家标准物质验证了对方法的准确性和精密度,其测定结果与标准参考物质的认定值基本一致,表明方法的准确性好、精密度高。所建立的新方法可实现食品中钙和氯的准确测定。  相似文献

The neutron deficient nucleus96Pd, four proton holes below the doubly magic100Sn, has been studied in the reaction64Zn (36Ar, 2p 2n). In andγγ coincidences levels up to 7 MeV excitation energy were established, and a new neutron core-excited isomer with T1/2=35(4)ns and g=0.83 (5) was identified. A detailed shell model study yields excellent agreement for states within the π(p1/2,g9/2) configuration space but fails to reproduce the isomerism andg-factor for the core-excited state.  相似文献

A coalescence model originally proposed to account for the emission of nucleons and light particles in nuclear reactions is extended to account for intermediate mass fragment (IMF) emission. This theory uses a set of Boltzmann master equations to evaluate the time evolution of the occupation probability of nucleon states in the course of the de-excitation cascade during which the IMF are emitted. The internal structure of the IMF and the depletion of nucleon states due to IMF emission are explicitly considered. The theoretical predictions reproduce satisfactorily the experimental multiplicity spectra measured in central collisions of36Ar ions with197Au at incident energies of 35 MeV/nucleon.  相似文献

We measured the strength of the 0(+)(gs)-->2(+)(1) excitations in the radioactive mirror nuclei 32Ar and 32Si using the techniques of intermediate-energy Coulomb excitation for 32Ar and inelastic proton scattering in inverse kinematics for 32Si. The 32Ar measurement, taken together with previously existing Coulomb excitation data for 32Si, yields the isoscalar and isovector multipole matrix elements for the 0(+)(1)-->2(+)(1) transition between T = 2 states in the A = 32 system. The proton scattering measurement for 32Si, when combined with the Coulomb excitation data for this nucleus, yields a ratio of neutron and proton matrix elements, M(n)/M(p), for 32Si.  相似文献

The angular distributions of primary and secondary γ-ray transitions at eight resonances in the 35Cl(p,γ)36Ar reaction have been measured with a 60 cm3 Ge(Li) detector. The measurements lead to unambiguous Jgp assignments for 17 states of 36Ar and to Jπ limitations for seven other states. A large number of γ-ray multipole mixing ratios were obtained. Many of the resonances are analogues of 36Cl levels. The lifetime of the Ex = 6.36 MeV level has been determined as τm = 440 +-150 fs. A simple shell model calculation has been performed to study the odd-parity levels of 36Ar and 36Cl. Coulomb displacement energies have been computed. Spectroscopic factors have been calculated and compared with the experimental data for the 35Cl(d, p)36Cl and 35(τ, d)36 reactions.  相似文献

A soft X-ray appearance potential spectroscopy (SXAPS) apparatus with high sensitivity was built to measure non-derivative spectra. SXAPS spectra (non-derivative) of Ti 2p and O 1s for TiO2(1 1 0)-1 × 2 and (0 0 1)-1 × 1 surfaces have been measured using low incident currents (about 10 μA/cm2) and a photon counting mode. Density of empty states on Ti and O sites are deduced by self-deconvoluting the spectra. The self-deconvoluted SXAPS spectra are qualitatively similar to those measured by X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS). The Ti 2p3/2 spectrum shows two strong peaks which correspond to t2g and eg states. For the O 1s spectrum two strong peaks near the threshold are also found which can be ascribed to O 2pπ and O 2pσ states. These results suggest that the spectra almost obey the dipole selection rule, so-called the “approximate dipole selection rule”. The SXAPS spectra of Ti 2p and O 1s for the (1 1 0) and (0 0 1) surfaces resemble qualitatively, which is consistent with the XAS results. The spectra measured on the (1 1 0)-1 × 2 surface at an incident angle of 45° off normal to the surface and on the (1 1 0) surface sputtered by Ar ions indicate that SXAPS is very sensitive to the surface electronic states.  相似文献
