This paper deals with the existence of travelling wave fronts in reaction-diffusion systems with spatio-temporal delays. Our approach is to use monotone iterations and a nonstandard ordering for the set of profiles of the corresponding wave system. New iterative techniques are established for a class of integral operators when the reaction term satisfies different monotonicity conditions. Following this, the existence of travelling wave fronts for reaction-diffusion systems with spatio-temporal delays is established. Finally, we apply the main results to a single-species diffusive model with spatio-temporal delay and obtain some existence criteria of travelling wave fronts by choosing different kernels.  相似文献

In the paper, consensus protocols for networks of dynamic agents with single- and double-integrator dynamics are proposed. We provide necessary and sufficient conditions for leader-following consensus problem of the presented models. In order to examine the studied cases in a general way the time scale calculus is employed to get the results. The method used in the proofs is based on spectral characterization of stability for time invariant linear systems on time scales. All the results are enriched in illustrative examples and numerical simulations.  相似文献

We study the approximate controllability for the abstract evolution equations with nonlocal conditions in Hilbert spaces. Assuming the approximate controllability of the corresponding linearized equation we obtain sufficient conditions for the approximate controllability of the semilinear evolution equation. The results we obtained are a generalization and continuation of the recent results on this issue. At the end, an example is given to show the application of our result.  相似文献

In this paper we develop the necessary conditions of optimality for a class of distributed parameter systems (partial differential equations) determined by operator valued measures and controlled by vector measures. Based on some recent results on existence of optimal controls from the space of vector measures, we develop necessary conditions of optimality for a class of control problems. The main results are the necessary conditions of optimality for problems without state constraints and those with state constraints. Also, a conceptual algorithm along with a brief discussion of its convergence is presented.  相似文献

The existence of traveling wave solutions for reaction-diffusion equations with nonlocal delays is obtained by combining upper and lower solutions for associated integral equations and the Schauder fixed point theorem. Global asymptotic dynamics of a representative cubic-autocatalytic reaction-diffusion system, the reversible Selkov equations, are investigated. This system features two pairs of oppositely signed nonlinear terms so that the asymptotic dissipative condition is not satisfied, which causes substantial difficulties in an attempt to attest that the longtime dynamics are asymptotically dissipative. An L2 to H1 global attractor of finite fractal dimension is shown to exist for the semiflow of the weak solutions of the reversible Selkov equations with the Dirichlet boundary condition on a bounded domain of dimension n≤3. A new method of rescaling and grouping estimation is used to prove the absorbing property and the asymptotical compactness. Importantly, the upper semicontinuity (robustness) in the H1 product space of the global attractors for the family of solution semiflows with respect to the reverse reaction rate as it tends to zero is proved through a new approach of transformative decomposition to overcome the barrier of the perturbed singularity between the reversible and non-reversible systems by showing the uniform dissipativity and the uniformly bounded evolution of the union of global attractors under the bundle of reversible and non-reversible semiflows.  相似文献

As a main step in the numerical solution of control problems in continuous time, the controlled process is approximated by sequences of controlled Markov chains, thus discretising time and space. A new feature in this context is to allow for delay in the dynamics. The existence of an optimal strategy with respect to the cost functional can be guaranteed in the class of relaxed controls. Weak convergence of the approximating extended Markov chains to the original process together with convergence of the associated optimal strategies is established.  相似文献

In this paper, the leader-following distributed consensus control problem is addressed for general linear multi-agent systems with heterogeneous uncertain agent dynamics and switched leader dynamics. Different from most existing results with a single linear time-invariant (LTI) leader dynamics, the leader dynamics under consideration is composed by a family of LTI models and a switching logic governing the switches among them, which is capable of generating more diverse and sophisticated reference signals to accommodate more complicated consensus control design tasks. A novel distributed adaptive switching consensus protocol is developed by incorporating the model reference adaptive control mechanism and arbitrary switching control technique, which can be synthesized by following a two-layer hierarchical design scheme. A numerical example has been used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to investigate the asymptotic behavior of time-dependent solutions of a three-species reaction–diffusion system in a bounded domain under a Neumann boundary condition. The system governs the population densities of a competitor, a competitor–mutualist and a mutualist, and time delays may appear in the reaction mechanism. It is shown, under a very simple condition on the reaction rates, that the reaction–diffusion system has a unique constant positive steady-state solution, and for any nontrivial nonnegative initial function the corresponding time-dependent solution converges to the positive steady-state solution. An immediate consequence of this global attraction property is that the trivial solution and all forms of semitrivial solutions are unstable. Moreover, the state–state problem has no nonuniform positive solution despite possible spatial dependence of the reaction and diffusion. All the conclusions for the time-delayed system are directly applicable to the system without time delays and to the corresponding ordinary differential system with or without time delays.  相似文献

A quasilinear singular parabolic system corresponding to recent models of chemotaxis in which (1) there is an impassable threshold for the density of cells and (2) the diffusion of cells becomes singular (fast or superdiffusion) when the density approaches the threshold. It is proved that for some range of parameters describing the relation between the diffusive and the chemotactic component of the cell flux there are global-in-time classical solutions which in some cases are separated from the threshold uniformly in time. Global-in-time weak solutions in the case of fast diffusion and the set of stationary states are studied as well. The applications of the general results to particular models are shown.  相似文献

In this paper, based on homotopy perturbation method (HPM) and reproducing kernel method (RKM), a new method is presented for solving nonlinear systems of second order boundary value problems (BVPs). HPM is based on the use of traditional perturbation method and homotopy technique. The HPM can reduce a nonlinear problem to a sequence of linear problems and generate a rapid convergent series solution in most cases. RKM is also an analytical technique, which can solve powerfully linear BVPs. Homotopy perturbation-reproducing kernel method (HP-RKM) combines advantages of these two methods and therefore can be used to solve efficiently systems of nonlinear BVPs. Three numerical examples are presented to illustrate the strength of the method.  相似文献

In this paper, we study a very general non-local lattice differential equation with delay. We obtain the existence of the asymptotic speed of propagation, the existence and uniqueness of the traveling wavefront and the minimal speed of the traveling wavefront for the system. We present a KAM theory for some dissipative systems (geometrically, these are conformally symplectic systems, i.e. systems that transform a symplectic form into a multiple of itself). For systems with n degrees of freedom depending on n parameters we show that it is possible to find solutions with a fixed n-dimensional (Diophantine) frequency by adjusting the parameters.  相似文献
