Within the spectator model, we study the reaction γdK Θ+ pK K + np in the threshold energy region. We present the predictions for the exclusive and inclusive K -meson angular distributions in the laboratory system for this reaction calculated for two possible parity states of the Θ+ resonance at 1.5-and 1.75-GeV beam energies with and without imposing the relevant kinematical cuts on those parts of the sampled phase space where the contribution from the main background sources, associated with the ϕ(1020), Λ(1520) production as well as with the K p rescattering in the final state, is expected to be dominant. We show that, under the chosen kinematics, these distributions are sensitive to the Θ+ parity and, therefore, can be used as a filter for the determination of its parity. The asymmetric simple exclusion process (ASEP) on a one-dimensional lattice is a system of particles which jump at ratesp and 1-p (herep > 1/2) to adjacent empty sites on their right and left respectively. The system is described on suitable macroscopic spatial and temporal scales by the inviscid Burgers’ equation; the latter has shock solutions with a discontinuous jump from left density ρ- to right density ρ+, ρ-< ρ +, which travel with velocity (2p−1 )(1−ρ+p ). In the microscopic system we may track the shock position by introducing a second class particle, which is attracted to and travels with the shock. In this paper we obtain the time-invariant measure for this shock solution in the ASEP, as seen from such a particle. The mean density at lattice siten, measured from this particle, approachesp ± at an exponential rate asn→ ±∞, witha characteristic length which becomes independent ofp when . For a special value of the asymmetry, given byp/(1−p)=p +(1−p )/p (1−p +), the measure is Bernoulli, with densityρ on the left andp + on the right. In the weakly asymmetric limit, 2p−1 → 0, the microscopic width of the shock diverges as (2p+1)-1. The stationary measure is then essentially a superposition of Bernoulli measures, corresponding to a convolution of a density profile described by the viscous Burgers equation with a well-defined distribution for the location of the second class particle.  相似文献

The rare t-quark decays tcl j + l k and tc j k k induced by scalar-leptoquark doublets are considered within the minimal model involving four-color quark-lepton symmetry and the Higgs mechanism of quark and lepton mass splitting. The partial widths with respect to the decays being considered and the total widths Γ(tcl +l ) = Σj,k Γ(tcl j + l k ) and Γ(tcl +l ) = Σj,kΓ(tc j v k ) with respect to, respectively, the charged leptonic and neutrino modes are calculated. It is shown that, at scalar-leptoquark masses higher than the t-quark mass (m S > m t), the branching ratios for these modes are Br(tcl +l ) ≈ (3.5−0.4) × 10−5 and Br(tcṽ′v) ≈ (7.1−0.8) × 10−5 at m s = 180–250 GeV and an appropriate value of the leptoquark-mixing angle (sin β ≈ 0.2) and can increase for m S < m t to Br(tcl +l ) ≈ 0.03−0.002 and Br(tcl +l ) ≈ 0.46−0.05 for the charged mode at m S = 150–170 GeV for sin β ≈ 1 and sin β ≈ 0.2, respectively. In the cases being considered, t-quark decays to pairs of charged leptons can be accessible to detection at LHC. Amorphous siliconpn junctions with various doping profiles have been prepared by the glow discharge technique and the effect of the barrier profile on electrical properties investigated. Current densities of up to 40 A cm−2 with rectification ratios of 104–105 were obtained withn +−ν−p + structures. Exotic strange multibaryon states have been observed in the effective mass spectra of: Λπ±, Λπ+π, Λp, Λpp, Λπp, ΛΛ and ΛK s 0, K s 0 p, K s 0π± subsystems. The measured Λ/π+ ratio for average multiplicities from the pC reaction is equal to (5.3 ± 0.8) × 10−2, and it is approximately two times larger than the Λ/π+ ratio simulated by the FRITIOF model and than that of experimental pp reactions at the same energy. The observed wellknown resonances Σ*+ (1385) and K*± (892) from PDG are good tests of this method. The mean value of the mass for the Σ*(1385) resonance is shifted to 1370 MeV/c 2 and the width is two times larger than the same value from PDG. Such kind of behavior for the width and invariant mass of Σ* (1385) resonance is interpreted as an extensive contribution from stopped Ξ → Λπ and medium effect. There is enhancement of the production contribution for all observed hyperons. A few events were registered by hypothesis of light H 0 and heavy H 0, + dihyperons. Dihyperons were observed by weak decay channels: (Σ p), (Λpπ), (Λpπ0), and (K pp). The text was submitted by the author in English.  相似文献

Abstruct The algebra describing a shock measure in the asymmetric simple exclusion model, seen from a second class particle, has finite-dimensional representations if and only if the asymmetry parameterp of the model and the left and right asymptotic densitiesp ± of the shock satisfy [(1−p)/p] r =p (1−p +)/p +(1−p ) for some integerr≥1; the minimal dimension of the representation is then 2r. The lowest momentum at which the total scattering cross-section data are available for Σ+ p and Σ p scattering is 145 MeV/c and 142.5 MeV/c respectively. Thus extracting low energy parameters amounts to extrapolating the data to still lower energies. Using the analytic structure of foward scattering amplitude to advantage a parameterization of theσ T is presented which is hoped to be more reliable and stable for deriving results through extrapolation. The scattering lengths and effective ranges for the Σ+ p and Σ p are also estimated.  相似文献

The production of two high-p T jets in the interactions of quasi-real photons in e + e collisions at from 189 GeV to 209 GeV is studied with data corresponding to an integrated e + e luminosity of 550 pb−1. The jets reconstructed by the k -cluster algorithm are defined within the pseudo-rapidity range −1<η<1 and with jet transverse momentum, p T , above 3 GeV/c. The differential di-jet cross-section is measured as a function of the mean transverse momentum of the jets and is compared to perturbative QCD calculations. Deceased  相似文献

A statistical analysis of all the available data on the wave numbers of spectral lines related to triplet-triplet electronic-vibrational-rotational (rovibronic) radiation transitions into the H2 molecule (1sσ2sσ) a 3Σ g + electronic state was performed for the first time. This allowed us to check and refine the controversial identification of several spectral lines. Optimum rovibronic term values were found for 15 electronic states, including the (4pσ)f 3Σ u +, (4pπ)k 3Π u +, and (4pπ)k 3Π u states studied in this work. The ratios between the oscillator strengths of R- and P-branch lines with common upper levels (branching coefficients) for the f 3Σ u +a 3Σ g + and k 3Π u +a 3Σ g + systems of H2 molecule bands were measured for the first time. Substantial deviations of the measured branching coefficients from the corresponding ratios between the Henl-London factors were observed. The deviations monotonically increased as the rotational quantum number N grew, which, in combination with substantial Λ-doubling in the k 3Π u state, was evidence of an important role played by electronicrotational interaction in the 4pσ3Σ u + and 4pπ3Π u + adiabatic electronic states. A strong correlation was observed between the N dependences of branching coefficients for transitions from the mutually perturbed f 3Σ u + and k 3Π u + electronic states. The results of this work show that the measured branching coefficients are a much more sensitive and capacious channel of information about perturbation effects than rovibronic term values.  相似文献

We report a generalization of our earlier formalism [Pramana, 54, 663 (1998)] to obtain exact solutions of Einstein-Maxwell’s equations for static spheres filled with a charged fluid having anisotropic pressure and of null conductivity. Defining new variables: w=(4π/3)(ρ+ε)r 2, u=4πξr 2, v r=4πp r r 2, v =4πp r 2[ρ, ξ(=−(1/2)F 14 F 14), p r, p being respectively the energy densities of matter and electrostatic fields, radial and transverse fluid pressures whereas ε denotes the eigenvalue of the conformal Weyl tensor and interpreted as the energy density of the free gravitational field], we have recast Einstein’s field equations into a form easy to integrate. Since the system is underdetermined we make the following assumptions to solve the field equations (i) u=v r=(a 2/2κ)r n+2, v =k 1 v r, w=k 2 v r; a 2, n(>0), k 1, k 2 being constants with κ=((k 1+2)/3+k 2) and (ii) w+u=(b 2/2)r n+2, u=v r, v v r=k, with b and k as constants. In both cases the field equations are integrated completely. The first solution is regular in the metric as well as physical variables for all values of n>0. Even though the second solution contains terms like k/r 2 since Q(0)=0 it is argued that the pressure anisotropy, caused by the electric flux near the centre, can be made to vanish reducing it to the generalized Cooperstock-de la Cruz solution given in [14]. We have studied quantum tunneling in an order-parameter-preserving antiferromagnet with the help of Holstein-Primakoff transformation. It is found that, when the system being prepared in a coherent state, there exist the quantum tunneling between lattices k and k+1, k and k−1, respectively. In particular, when the lattice is infinitely long and the spin excitations are in the long-wavelength limit, quantum tunneling disappear between lattices k and k+1, and that k and k−1, in this case the magnetic soliton appears.  相似文献

Summary The p P(k=9) magnetic-dipole transition of the oxygen 0-0 vibrational band of the red systemb 1Σ g +X 3Σ g was observed with absorption spectroscopy using a tunable CW diode laser. A systematic investigation of the self-collisional broadening was performed for different gas pressures and temperatures. The temperature dependence of the self-broadening coefficient was determined to beT −(1.02±0.05). Our results are of interest for collisional theory and as reference data in atmospheric monitoring applications. Experimental data from the 2m propane bubble chamber have been analyzed for exotic baryon states search. A number of peculiarities were found in the effective mass spectra of Λπ+ (Σ*+ (1382), PDG), Λp, and Λpp subsystems. A few events detected on the photographs of the propane bubble chamber exposed to a 10 GeV/c proton beam were interpreted as S = −2H 0 light(<M (ΛΛ)) and heavy H 0, +. A new event detected on the photographs of the propane bubble chamber was interpreted as heavy H + (2488) dibaryon by weak decay channels of K pp or Σ+ pπ. Using the technique of helicity amplitudes, the electromagnetic process e + e → μ+μ is theoretically investigated in the one-photon approximation. The structure of the triplet states of the final (μ+μ) system is analyzed. It is shown that in the case of unpolarized electron and positron the finalmuons are also unpolarized, but their spins are strongly correlated. Explicit expressions for the components of the correlation tensor of the final (μ+μ) system are derived. The formula for the angular correlation at the decays of final muons μ+ and μ, produced in the process e + e → μ+μ, is obtained. It is demonstrated that spin correlations of muons in the process of electron-positron pair annihilation have the purely quantum character, since one of the incoherence inequalities for the correlation-tensor components is always violated. The additional contribution of the weak interaction of lepton neutral currents through the virtual Z 0 boson is considered; it is established that, taking into account the weak interaction, the qualitative character of the muon spin correlations does not change. The cross-section for the π + π π 0 invariant mass distribution in the γp reaction in the GeV region is calculated. This reaction is assumed to proceed through the formation of the ω-meson in the intermediate state, because the production cross-section for this meson in the γp reaction in the GeV region is significant and it has a large branching ratio (88.8%) in the π + π π 0 channel. The cross-sections for this reaction are calculated using the energy-dependent reaction amplitude, f γp→ωp(0), extracted from the latest ω-meson photoproduction data. We use established procedure to calculate other factors, like width and propagator of the ω-meson, so that our calculation can provide reliable cross-section. The calculated results reproduce the measured π + π π 0 invariant mass distribution spectra in the γp reaction.  相似文献

 We deal with the existence of positive radial solutions concentrating on spheres to a class of singularly perturbed elliptic problems like −ɛ2Δu+V(|x|)u=u p ,uH 1 (ℝ n ). Under suitable assumptions on the auxiliary potential M(r)=r n−1 V θ (r), θ(p+1)/(p−1)−1/2, we provide necessary and sufficient conditions for concentration as well as the bifurcation of non-radial solutions.  相似文献

We further discuss possible sgoldstino interpretation of the observation, reported by the HyperCP collaboration, of three Σ+pμ+μ decay events with the dimuon invariant mass 214.3 MeV within the detector resolution. With a sgoldstino mass equal to 214.3 MeV, this interpretation can be verified at existing and future B and ϕ factories. We find that the most natural values of the branching ratios of two-body B and D meson decays to sgoldstino P and vector meson V are about 10−6−10−7. The branching ratios of ϕ meson decay ϕ → Pγ are estimated to be in the range 1.8 × 10−13−1.6 × 10−7, depending on the hierarchy of supersymmetry-breaking soft terms.
