On bounded pseudoconvex domains Ω the orthogonal projection Pq : L2(p,q) (Ω) → ker q is given by Pq = IdSq+1 q = Id*q+1Nq+1 q, where Sq is the canonical solution operator of the ‐equation and Nq is the ‐Neumann operator. We prove a formula for the solution operator Sq restricted on (0, q)‐forms with holomorphic coefficients. And as an application we get a characterization of compactness of the solution operator restricted on (0, q)‐forms with holomorphic coefficients. On general (0, q)‐forms we show that this condition is necessary for compactness of the solution operator.  相似文献

We introduce a notion of q ‐pseudoconvex domain of new type for a bounded domain of ?n and prove that for given a ‐closed (p, r)‐form, rq, that is smooth up to the boundary, there exists a (p, r – 1)‐form smooth up to the boundary which is a solution of ‐equation on a bounded q ‐pseudoconvex domain. For a potential function that attains its global minimum value at two disjoint compact connected submanifolds N± in , we discuss the asymptotics, as ? → 0, of minimizers u? of the singular perturbed functional under suitable Dirichlet boundary data . In the expansion of E ? The paper deals with the differential‐difference equation in a Banach space. The operator coefficient of the delay‐free derivative is allowed to be degenerate. Existence and uniqueness theorems are proved under the main assumption that for every the point is a polar singularity of the resolvent . We exhibit a stable finite time blowup regime for the 1‐corotational energy critical harmonic heat flow from ?2 into a smooth compact revolution surface of ?3 that reduces to the semilinear parabolic problem for a suitable class of functions f. The corresponding initial data can be chosen smooth, well localized, and arbitrarily close to the ground state harmonic map in the energy‐critical topology. We give sharp asymptotics on the corresponding singularity formation that occurs through the concentration of a universal bubble of energy at the speed predicted by van den Berg, Hulshof, and King. Our approach lies in the continuation of the study of the 1‐equivariant energy critical wave map and Schrödinger map with ??2 target by Merle, Raphaël, and Rodnianski. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

Consider a bounded open set and a Lipschitz function . Does this function always have a canonical optimal Lipschitz extension to all of U? We propose a notion of optimal Lipschitz extension and address existence and uniqueness in some special cases. In the case n = m = 2, we show that smooth solutions have two phases: in one they are conformal and in the other they are variants of infinity harmonic functions called infinity harmonic fans. The Debye source representation for solutions to the time‐harmonic Maxwell equations is extended to bounded domains with finitely many smooth boundary components. A strong uniqueness result is proved for this representation. Natural complex structures are identified on the vector spaces of time‐harmonic Maxwell fields. It is shown that these complex structures are uniformized by the Debye source representation, that is, represented by a fixed linear map on a fixed vector space, independent of the frequency. This complex structure relates time‐harmonic Maxwell fields to constant‐k Beltrami fields, i.e., solutions of the equation A family of self‐adjoint boundary conditions are defined for the Beltrami operator. This leads to a proof of the existence of zero‐flux, constant‐k, force‐free Beltrami fields for any bounded region in ?3, as well as a constructive method to find them. We present closed graph and open mapping theorems for ‐linear maps acting between suitable classes of topological and locally convex topological ‐modules. This is done by adaptation of De Wilde's theory of webbed spaces and Adasch–Ernst–Keim's theory of barrelled spaces to the context of locally convex and topological ‐modules, respectively. We give applications of the previous theorems to Colombeau theory as well to the theory of Banach ‐modules. We define two transforms of non‐conformal harmonic maps from a surface into the 3‐sphere. With these transforms one can construct, from one such harmonic map, a sequence of harmonic maps. We show that there is a correspondence between harmonic maps into the 3‐sphere, H‐surfaces in Euclidean 3‐space and almost complex surfaces in the nearly Kähler manifold . As a consequence we can construct sequences of H‐surfaces and almost complex surfaces.  相似文献

For any p ∈ [0,1], let (n,p) denote the probability distribution on the family of graphs on n vertices, where two vertices u and v form an edge with probability p, and the events {u and v form an edge}; u,vV (G) are mutually independent. For k ≥ 4 and n sufficiently large we construct a ‐almost‐universal‐graph on n vertices and with O(n)polylog(n) edges, where q = ? ? for such k ≤ 6, and where q = ? ? for k ≥ 7. In this article, we obtain some Ore‐type sufficient conditions for a graph to have a connected factor with degree restrictions. Let α and k be positive integers with if and if . Let G be a connected graph with a spanning subgraph F, each component of which has order at least α. We show that if the degree sum of two nonadjacent vertices is greater than then G has a connected subgraph in which F is contained and every vertex has degree at most . In this article, we study stability of minimal fibers and integrability of horizontal distribution for horizontally conformal maps and harmonic morphisms. Let be a horizontally conformal submersion. We prove that if the horizontal distribution is integrable, then any minimal fiber of φ is volume‐stable. This result is an improved version of the main theorem in [15]. As a corollary, we obtain if φ is a submersive harmonic morphism whose fibers are totally geodesic, and the horizontal distribution is integrable, then any fiber of φ is volume‐stable and so such a map φ is energy‐stable if M is compact. We also show that if is a horizontally conformal map from a compact Riemannian manifold M into an orientable Riemannian manifold N which is horizontally homothetic, and if the pull‐back of the volume form of N is harmonic, then the horizontal distribution is integrable and φ is a harmonic morphism.  相似文献

The isovariant version of Borsuk–Ulam type theorems has been studied by Wasserman and the first author. In this paper, first we consider the relation between the existence of Cn-isovariant maps from free Cn-manifolds to representation spheres and Borsuk–Ulam type inequalities for their dimensions. Our main result classifies the Cn-isovariant maps by Cn-isovariant homotopy types when a Borsuk–Ulam type inequality holds. For proving it, we use the multidegree of a Cn-equivariant map developed by the first author.  相似文献

We provide general criteria for orthogonal arrays and t‐designs on equitable partitions of a hypercube by exploring harmonic distributions. Generalized harmonic weight enumerators for real‐valued functions of are introduced and applied to eigenfunctions of the adjacency matrix of . Using this, expressions for harmonic distributions are established for every cell of an equitable partition π of . Moreover, for any given cell in the partition π, the strength of the cell as an orthogonal array is explicitly expressed, and also a characterization of a t‐design of that cell is established. We also compute strengths of cells and find t‐designs from cells based on constructions of Krotov, Borges, Rifa, and Zinoviev.  相似文献

The work deals with a combinatorial problem of P. Erd?s and L. Lovász concerning simple hypergraphs. Let denote the minimum number of edges in an n‐uniform simple hypergraph with chromatic number at least . The main result of the work is a new asymptotic lower bound for . We prove that for large n and r satisfying the following inequality holds where . This bound improves previously known bounds for . The proof is based on a method of random coloring. The algebraic category is the image of MV, the category whose objects are the MV‐algebras, by the equivalence (cf. 7 , 8 ). In this paper we define the logic ?? whose Lindenbaum algebra is an MV‐algebra (object of ), and establish a link between ?? and the infinite valued ?ukasiewicz logic ?. We define U‐operators, that have properties of universal quantifiers, and establish a bijection that maps an MV‐algebra endowed with a U‐operator (cf. 20 - 22 ) into an MV?‐algebra endowed with a U‐operator.
