On bounded pseudoconvex domains Ω the orthogonal projection Pq : L2(p,q) (Ω) → ker q is given by Pq = IdSq+1 q = Id*q+1Nq+1 q, where Sq is the canonical solution operator of the ‐equation and Nq is the ‐Neumann operator. We prove a formula for the solution operator Sq restricted on (0, q)‐forms with holomorphic coefficients. And as an application we get a characterization of compactness of the solution operator restricted on (0, q)‐forms with holomorphic coefficients. On general (0, q)‐forms we show that this condition is necessary for compactness of the solution operator.  相似文献

On weighted spaces with strictly plurisubharmonic weightfunctions the canonical solution operator of and the ‐Neumann operator are bounded. In this paper we find a class of strictly plurisubharmonic weightfunctions with certain growth conditions, so that they are Hilbert‐Schmidt operators between weighted spaces with different weightfunctions, if they are restricted to forms with holomorphic coefficients. We introduce a notion of q ‐pseudoconvex domain of new type for a bounded domain of ?n and prove that for given a ‐closed (p, r)‐form, rq, that is smooth up to the boundary, there exists a (p, r – 1)‐form smooth up to the boundary which is a solution of ‐equation on a bounded q ‐pseudoconvex domain. We first show that the canonical solution operator to restricted to -forms with holomorphic coefficients can be expressed by an integral operator using the Bergman kernel. This result is used to prove that in the case of the unit disc in the canonical solution operator to restricted to -forms with holomorphic coefficients is a Hilbert-Schmidt operator. In the sequel we give a direct proof of the last statement using orthonormal bases and show that in the case of the polydisc and the unit ball in 1,$"> the corresponding operator fails to be a Hilbert-Schmidt operator. We also indicate a connection with the theory of Hankel operators.

Teichmüller curves are geodesic discs in Teichmüller space that project to algebraic curves C in the moduli space Mg. Some Teichmüller curves can be considered as components of Hurwitz spaces. We show that the absolute Galois group G? acts faithfully on the set of these embedded curves. We also compare the action of G? on π1(C) with the one on π1(Mg) and obtain a relation in the Grothendieck–Teichmüller group, seemingly independent of the known ones. We prove that compactness of the canonical solution operator to restricted to (0, 1)-forms with holomorphic coefficients is equivalent to compactness of the commutator defined on the whole L (0,1)2(Ω), where is the multiplication by and is the orthogonal projection of L (0,1)2(Ω) to the subspace of (0, 1) forms with holomorphic coefficients. Further we derive a formula for the -Neumann operator restricted to (0, 1) forms with holomorphic coefficients expressed by commutators of the Bergman projection and the multiplications operators by z and . In this paper, we introduce a new energy functional, ‐energy functional, instead of the total energy functional to investigate the uniqueness of harmonic maps with respect to any given metric on the unit disk. Even in the setting that the Hopf differentials of harmonic maps are not integrable, certain uniqueness theorems of harmonic maps are obtained, which improve a result due to Markovi? and Mateljevi? in 1999. This paper deals with analytic and numerical dissipativity and exponential stability of singularly perturbed delay differential equations with any bounded state-independent lag. Sufficient conditions will be presented to ensure that any solution of the singularly perturbed delay differential equations (DDEs) with a bounded lag is dissipative and exponentially stable uniformly for sufficiently small ε > 0. We will study the numerical solution defined by the linear θ-method and one-leg method and show that they are dissipative and exponentially stable uniformly for sufficiently small ε > 0 if and only if θ = 1.  相似文献

In this paper, the irreducible p, q‐representations of the Lie algebras $\mathcal {G}(0,1)$ and $\mathcal {G}(0,0)$ are discussed. We prove two theorems that classify certain irreducible p, q‐representations of these Lie algebras and construct their one variable models in terms of p, q‐derivative and dilation operators. As an application, we derive a p, q‐special function identity based on one such model.  相似文献

In this paper we consider Hankel operators = (IdP 1) from A 2(?, |z |2) to A 2,1(?, |z |2). Here A 2(?, |z |2) denotes the Fock space A 2(?, |z |2) = {f: f is entire and ‖f2 = ∫? |f (z)|2 exp (–|z |2) (z) < ∞}. Furthermore A 2,1(?, |z |2) denotes the closure of the linear span of the monomials { z n : n, l ∈ ?, l ≤ 1} and the corresponding orthogonal projection is denoted by P 1. Note that we call these operators generalized Hankel operators because the projection P 1 is not the usual Bergman projection. In the introduction we give a motivation for replacing the Bergman projection by P 1. The paper analyzes boundedness and compactness of the mentioned operators. On the Fock space we show that is bounded, but not compact, and for k ≥ 3 that is not bounded. Afterwards we also consider the same situation on the Bergman space of the unit disc. Here a completely different situation appears: we have compactness for all k ≥ 1. Finally we will also consider an analogous situation in the case of several complex variables. In this paper, we introduce the notions of (∈, ∈ ∨ q)‐fuzzy filters and (∈, ∈ ∨ q)‐fuzzy Boolean (implicative) filters in R0‐algebras and investigate some of their related properties. Some characterization theorems of these generalized fuzzy filters are derived. In particular, we prove that a fuzzy set in R0‐algebras is an (∈, ∈ ∨ q)‐fuzzy Boolean filter if and only if it is an (∈, ∈ ∨ q)‐fuzzy implicative filter. The parameters in the governing system of partial differential equations of multiple‐network poroelasticity models typically vary over several orders of magnitude, making its stable discretization and efficient solution a challenging task. In this paper, we prove the uniform Ladyzhenskaya–Babu?ka–Brezzi (LBB) condition and design uniformly stable discretizations and parameter‐robust preconditioners for flux‐based formulations of multiporosity/multipermeability systems. Novel parameter‐matrix‐dependent norms that provide the key for establishing uniform LBB stability of the continuous problem are introduced. As a result, the stability estimates presented here are uniform not only with respect to the Lamé parameter λ but also to all the other model parameters, such as the permeability coefficients Ki; storage coefficients c p i ; network transfer coefficients βi j,i,j = 1,…,n; the scale of the networks n; and the time step size τ. Moreover, strongly mass‐conservative discretizations that meet the required conditions for parameter‐robust LBB stability are suggested and corresponding optimal error estimates proved. The transfer of the canonical (norm‐equivalent) operator preconditioners from the continuous to the discrete level lays the foundation for optimal and fully robust iterative solution methods. The theoretical results are confirmed in numerical experiments that are motivated by practical applications.  相似文献

We show for $k \geq 2$ that the locally Lipschitz viscosity solution to the $\sigma_k$-Loewner-Nirenberg problem on a given annulus $\{a < |x| < b\}$ is $C^{1,\frac{1}{k}}_{\rm loc}$ in each of $\{a < |x| \leq \sqrt{ab}\}$ and $\{\sqrt{ab} \leq |x| < b\}$ and has a jump in radial derivative across $|x| = \sqrt{ab}$. Furthermore, the solution is not $C^{1,\gamma}_{\rm loc}$ for any $\gamma > \frac{1}{k}$. Optimal regularity for solutions to the $\sigma_k$-Yamabe problem on annuli with finite constant boundary values is also established.  相似文献

This paper describes a new and user‐friendly method for constructing models of non‐well‐founded set theory. Given a sufficiently well‐behaved system θ of non‐well‐founded set‐theoretic equations, we describe how to construct a model Mθ for $\mathsf {ZFC}^-$ in which θ has a non‐degenerate solution. We shall prove that this Mθ is the smallest model for $\mathsf {ZFC}^-$ which contains $\mathbf {V}$ and has a non‐degenerate solution of θ.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate -estimates for the solution of the Stokes equation in a half space H where . It is shown that the solution of the Stokes equation is governed by an analytic semigroup on or . From the operatortheoretical point of view it is a surprising fact that the corresponding result for does not hold true. In fact, there exists an -function f satisfying such that the solution of the corresponding resolvent equation with right hand side f does not belong to . Taking into account however a recent result of Kozono on the nonlinear Navier-Stokes equation, the -result is not surprising and even natural. We also show that the Stokes operator admits a R-bounded -calculus on for 1 < p < and obtain as a consequence maximal -regularity for the solution of the Stokes equation. In this paper, an iterative solution method for a fourth‐order accurate discretization of the Helmholtz equation is presented. The method is a generalization of that presented in (SIAM J. Sci. Comput. 2006; 27 :1471–1492), where multigrid was employed as a preconditioner for a Krylov subspace iterative method. The multigrid preconditioner is based on the solution of a second Helmholtz operator with a complex‐valued shift. In particular, we compare preconditioners based on a point‐wise Jacobi smoother with those using an ILU(0) smoother, we compare using the prolongation operator developed by de Zeeuw in (J. Comput. Appl. Math. 1990; 33 :1–27) with interpolation operators based on algebraic multigrid principles, and we compare the performance of the Krylov subspace method Bi‐conjugate gradient stabilized with the recently introduced induced dimension reduction method, IDR(s).
