MATCHED QUEUEING SYSTEM M·PH/G/1

In this paper,we study the matched queueing system,MoPH/G/1,where the type-Ⅰ input is a Poisson process,the type-Ⅱ input is a PH renewal process, and the service times are i.i.d. random variables. A necessary and sufficient condition for the stationariness of the system is given.The expectations of the length of the non-idle period and the number of customers served in a non-idle period are obtained.     

MATCHED QUEUEING SYSTEMS WITH A DOUBLE INPUT

In this paper, we study the matched queueing system with a double input, MoM/PH/1,where the two inputs are two independent Poisson processes, and the service time is of PH-distribution.The L.S. transforms and the expectations of the distributions of occupation time and virtual waiting time of the type-Ⅰ customer are derived.The probability that the server is working, the mean non-idle period, and the mean busy period are also derived. The related algorithms are given with numerical results.     

THE QUEUEING SYSTEM M~(x)/M/c→/PH~(r)/1/K

The two-stage tandem queueing system M(z)/M/c→/PH(r)/1/K is studied in this paper. Customers arrive at stage-Ⅰ system in batches according to a Poisson process, and the size of the batch, x , is a r. v. within a range of a finite number of positive integers. The stage- Ⅱ ststem has finite capacity, where customers are served in batches with a PH-distribution and the size of the batch is a positive integer r. Only after served in stage- Ⅰ system, and then served in stage- Ⅱ system, can the customers depart from the whole system. Several definitions such as the stage- Ⅰ service blocked time, the first-class and the second-class batch waiting times, and the batch sojourn time are introduced, and their distributions are obtained respectively.     

A tandem GI/PH/1→•/PH/1/0 queue with blocking

Tandem queues are widely used in mathematical modeling of random processes describing the operation of manufacturing systems, supply chains, computer and telecommunication networks. Although there exists a lot of publications on tandem queueing systems, analytical research on tandem queues with non-Markovian input is very limited. In this paper, the results of analytical investigation of two-node tandem queue with arbitrary distribution of inter-arrival times are presented. The first station of the tandem is represented by a single-server queue with infinite waiting room. After service at the first station, a customer proceeds to the second station that is described by a single-server queue without a buffer. Service times of a customer at the first and the second server have PH (Phase-type) distributions. A customer, who completes service at the first server and meets a busy second server, is forced to wait at the first server until the second server becomes available. During the waiting period, the first server becomes blocked, i.e., not available for service of customers. We calculate the joint stationary distribution of the system states at the embedded epochs and at arbitrary time. The Laplace–Stieltjes transform of the sojourn time distribution is derived. Key performance measures are calculated and numerical results presented.

在通常的排队系统中,考虑服务台在服务过程中可能失效和可修理,称之为可修排队系统(RQS).对此类排队系统的研究,继[1]之后,有[4]～[7]等.本文研究更一般的可修排队系统 GI/PH(M/PH)/1     

服务台可修的GI/PH/1排队系统

本文讨论服务台可修的GI/PH/1排队,其中服务台寿命和修复时间也是PH变量。首先证明系统在稳态下可转化为一个等价的经典GI/PH/1模型,然后给出系统的各种稳态指标。此外,对修复后重新服务和累积服务两种不同模型,我们给出了统一的处理。     

SERIAL QUEUEING SYSTEM WITH TWO SERVICE MECHANISMS

In this paper we consider the serial queueing system with two service mechanisms. But there is only a singly server in each mechanism. The first counter is loseing system, the second is finite waiting system, i.e. there are k-1 waiting places. We also discuss several operational characteristics of this system and give the example of the model of the system when k=3.

ON PERIODIC PHENOMENA AND STATIONARY DISTRIBUTION OF QUEUEING SYSTEM M/G/1 WITH GROUP ARRIVALS AND BATCH SERVICE

In this paper several models of queueing system M/G/1 with group arrivals and batch service are considered,and the following fundamental questions are considered:(1) what is the structure of the phase space of the imbedded Markov chain?(2) what are the necessary and sufficient conditions causing the imbedded Markov chain to be reducible or irreducible,and periodic or aperiodic? (3) what are the necessary and sufficient conditions of the existence of stationary distribution? The generating function of stationary distribution is obtained.     

GI／PH／1休假排队系统队长的随机分解

对空竭服务、多重休假规则的GI/PH/1排队系统的稳态行为给出了详尽分析。在休假时间服从负指数分布情况下,讨论了到达点嵌入Markov链的结构、平衡条件和稳态队长。证明稳态队长可分解成两个独立随机变量之和。     

GI(1)+GI(2)+…+GI(N)/M/1排队模型

文献[1]引入了一类具有广泛应用前景的随机过程--Markov骨架过程.本文借助这类随机过程的方法研究了GI(1)+GI(2)+…+GI(N)/M/1排队模型,求出了此模型到达过程、等待时间及队长的概率分布.     

THE DYNAMIC PROPERTIES FOR THE PROTEIN MOLECULAR SYSTEM

In this paper, a new theory for the dynamic properties of protein molecular system have been proposed by means of the analysis of the characteristics of the collective excitations generated under the localized fluctuation and the deformation Of structure of the protein. Some new results obtained from this study show that the Davydov theory is an approximate and disadvantegeous theory.

The matched queueing network PH/M/c→oPH/PH/1

We consider a matched queueing network PH/M/coPH/PH/1, where the output of the first subsystem PH/M/c is regarded as one of the inputs of the second subsystem and matched with another input of PH-renewal process, and they are served by a single server with PH-service-distribution. The stationary state probabilities, the distribution of the virtual waiting times in the two subsystems, and the distribution of the total virtual waiting time are derived.The work was supported by the Max-Planck-Gesellschaft, Germany, and the Chinese Academy ofSciences.     

THE RANDOM WEIGHTING APPROXIMATION FOR THE VIRTUAL SYSTEM METHOD

In this paper, the random weighting method is applied to the exponential system, and we construct the approximation to the estimates of the system parameters with an accuracy of o(n^-1/2) as n→∞.

THE RIEMANN-HILBERT BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM FOR THE MOISIL-THEODORSCO SYSTEM

This article studies the inhomogeneous Moisil-Theodorsco system in the space R3, gives the integral expression of its solution, proves the Holder continuity of the solution. Moreover the author studies the Riemann-Hilbert boundary value problem for the Moisil-Theodorsco system in a cylindrical domain of R3, and gives the solvability conditions and the integral expressions of solutions. The Holder continuity of the solutions is proved.
