We present a general theory of moving and deforming wave fronts by first defining and discussing the higher order fundamental forms for such a surface. These fundamental forms are then used to find the general formula for the jump of the Nth order differential of generalized functions which are discontinuous across this surface. Subsequently, we consider the wave fronts which carry multilayers and develop the theory of the generalized derivatives of the multilayers. In the process we find many new results in the theories of differential geometry and generalized functions.  相似文献

An analytical wave propagation model is proposed in this paper for damping and steady state forced vibration of orthotropic composite plate structure by using the symplectic method. By solving an eigen-problem derived in the symplectic dual system of free bending vibration of orthotropic rectangular thin plates, the wave shape of plate is obtained in symplectic analytical form for any combination of simple boundary conditions along the plate edges. And then the specific damping capacity of wave mode is obtained symplectic analytically by using the strain energy theory. The steady state forced vibration of built-up plates structure is calculated by combining the wave propagation model and the finite element method. The vibration of the uniform plate domain of the built-up plates structure is described using symplectic analytical waves and the connector with discontinuous geometry or material is modeled using finite elements. In the numerical examples, the specific damping capacity of orthotropic rectangular thin plate with three different combinations of boundary condition is first calculated and analyzed. Comparisons of the present method results with respect to the results from the finite element method and from the Rayleigh–Ritz method validate the effectiveness of the present method. The relationship between the specific damping capacity of wave mode and that of modal mode is expounded. At last, the damped steady state forced vibration of a two plates system with a connector is calculated using the hybrid solution technique. The availability of the symplectic analytical wave propagation model is further validated by comparing the forced response from the present method with the results obtained using the finite element method.  相似文献

A new generalized linear exponential distribution (NCLED) is considered in this paper which can be deemed as a new and more flexible extension of linear exponential distribution. Some statistical properties for the NGLED such as the hazard rate function, moments, quantiles are given. The maximum likelihood estimations (MLE) of unknown parameters are also discussed. A simulation study and two real data analyzes are carried out to illustrate that the new distribution is more flexible and effective than other popular distributions in modeling lifetime data.  相似文献

A new family of generalized Laguerre polynomials is introduced. Various orthogonal projections are investigated. Some approximation results are established. As an example of their important applications, the mixed spherical harmonic-generalized Laguerre approximation is developed. A mixed spectral scheme is proposed for a three-dimensional model problem. Its convergence is proved. Numerical results demonstrate the high accuracy of this new spectral method.  相似文献

A nonlinear surface-stress-dependent nanoscale shell model is developed on the base of the classical shell theory incorporating the surface stress elasticity. Nonlinear free vibrations of circular cylindrical nanoshells conveying fluid are studied in the framework of the proposed model. In order to describe the large-amplitude motion, the von Kármán nonlinear geometrical relations are taken into account. The governing equations are derived by using Hamilton's principle. Then, the method of multiple scales is adopted to perform an approximately analytical analysis on the present problem. Results show that the surface stress can influence the vibration characteristics of fluid-conveying thin-walled nanoshells. This influence becomes more and more considerable with the decrease of the wall thickness of the nanoshells. Furthermore, the fluid speed, the fluid mass density, the initial surface tension and the nanoshell geometry play important roles on the nonlinear vibration characteristics of fluid-conveying nanoshells.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the problem of the best approximation for a given matrix pencil under a given spectral constraint and a submatrix pencil constraint. Such a problem arises in structural dynamic model updating. By using the Moore–Penrose generalized inverse and the singular value decomposition (SVD) matrices, the solvability condition and the expression for the solution of the problem are presented. The numerical solution of acoustic wave propagation problems in planar domains with corners and cracks is considered. Since the exact solution of such problems is singular in the neighborhood of the geometric singularities the standard meshfree methods, based on global interpolation by analytic functions, show low accuracy. In order to circumvent this issue, a meshfree modification of the method of fundamental solutions is developed, where the approximation basis is enriched by an extra span of corner adapted non-smooth shape functions. The high accuracy of the new method is illustrated by solving several boundary value problems for the Helmholtz equation, modelling physical phenomena from the fields of room acoustics and acoustic resonance.  相似文献

Homogenization provides a reduced model of the acoustic wave propagation through a periodically perforated layer immersed in an inviscid fluid. The shape of the perforation influences some parameters of the non-local transmission condition. In this paper, first we establish a determinantal representation for the group inverse Ag of a square matrix A. Based on this, a determinantal representation for the generalized inverse A is presented. As an application, we give a determinantal formula for the unique solution of the general restricted linear system: Ax=b(x ∈ T, b ∈ AT and dim(AT)=dim(T)), which reduces to the common Cramer rule if A is non‐singular. In this paper, we propose a delayed computer virus propagation model and study its dynamic behaviors. First, we give the threshold value R0 determining whether the virus dies out completely. Second, we study the local asymptotic stability of the equilibria of this model and it is found that, depending on the time delays, a Hopf bifurcation may occur in the model. Next, we prove that, if R0 = 1, the virus-free equilibrium is globally attractive; and when R0 < 1, it is globally asymptotically stable. Finally, a sufficient criterion for the global stability of the virus equilibrium is obtained.  相似文献

For their nice mathematical properties, state space models have been widely used, especially for forecasting. Over the last decades, the study of tracking software reliability by statistical models has attracted scientists’ attention. However, most of models focus on perfect debugging although practically imperfect debugging arises everywhere. In this paper, a non-Gaussian state space model is modified to predict software failure time with imperfect debugging. In fact, this model is very flexible so that we can modify the system equation in this model to satisfy the various situations. Besides, this model is suitable for tracking software reliability, and applied to two well known datasets on software failures.  相似文献

The main objective of this paper is to extend previous results on Halanay inequality for impulsive delayed dynamical systems. Based on the Razumikhin technique, a generalized Halanay differential inequality on impulsive delayed dynamical systems is analytically established. Compared with some existing works, the distinctive feature of this work is that it can be used to stabilize an unstable delayed dynamical system via impulses. The generalized Halanay inequality may be applied to secure communication systems, and a numerical example is given for illustrating and interpreting the theoretical results.  相似文献
