A-Monotonicity and Its Role in Nonlinear Variational Inclusions   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The notion of A-monotonicity in the context of solving a new class of nonlinear variational inclusion problems is presented. Since A-monotonicity generalizes not only the well-explored maximal monotone mapping, but also a recently introduced and studied notion of H-monotone mapping, the results thus obtained are general in nature.Communicated by G. In this paper, using the concept of P-η-proximal-point mapping introduced by Kazmi and Bhat [11], we study the existence and sensitivity analysis of the solution set of a system of parametric general quasi-variational-like inequality problems in uniformly smooth Banach spaces. Further under suitable conditions, we discuss the Lipschitz continuity of the solution set with respect to the parameters. The approach used in this paper may be treated as an extension and unification of approaches for studying sensitivity analysis for various important classes of variational inequalities given in [1,2,4,12,14–16,21–24].  相似文献

If X is a space that can be mapped onto a metric space by a one-to-one mapping, then X is said to have a weaker metric topology. In this paper, we give characterizations of sequence-covering compact images and sequentially-quotient compact images of spaces with a weaker metric topology. The main results are that (1) Y is a sequence-covering compact image of a space with a weaker metric topology if and only if Y has a sequence of point-finite cs-covers such that for each yY. (2) Y is a sequentially-quotient compact image of a space with a weaker metric topology if and only if Y has a sequence of point-finite cs*-covers such that for each yY. In this paper, we prove that a space X is a g-metrizable space if and only if X is a weak-open, π and σ-image of a semi-metric space, if and only if X is a strong sequence-covering, quotient, π and mssc-image of a semi-metric space, where “semi-metric” can not be replaced by “metric”. We consider a generalized complementarity problem whose cost mapping is multi-valued and is the sum of upper Z and antitone mappings. We suggest a simple splitting type algorithm which utilizes an extended Jacobi iteration. Its convergence is proved under mild assumptions. Preliminary results of numerical experiments confirm efficiency of the algorithm presented. This work was supported by RFBR–NNSF Grant No. 07-01-92101.  相似文献

Let Ω and Ω1 be Jordan domains, let μ ∈ (0, 1], and let be a harmonic homeomorphism. The object of the paper is to prove the following results: (a) If f is q.c. and ∂Ω, ∂Ω1C 1,μ , then f is Lipschitz; (b) if f is q.c., ∂Ω, ∂Ω1C 1,μ and Ω1 is convex, then f is bi-Lipschitz; and (c) if Ω is the unit disk, Ω1 is convex, and ∂Ω1C 1,μ , then f is quasiconformal if and only if its boundary function is bi-Lipschitz and the Hilbert transform of its derivative is in L . Let K be a nonempty closed and convex subset of a real Banach space E. Let T: K → E be a continuous pseudocontractive mapping and f:K → E a contraction, both satisfying weakly inward condition. Suppose further that {y t } is bounded or F(T) ≠  and E is a reflexive Banach space having weakly continuous duality mapping J ? for some gauge ?. Then it is proved that {y t } converges strongly to a fixed point of T, which is also a solution of certain variational inequality. Moreover, an explicit iteration process that converges strongly to a common fixed point of a finite family of nonexpansive mappings and hence to a solution of a certain variational inequality is constructed.  相似文献

In this paper, by using Mann's iteration process we will establish several weak convergence theorems for approximating a fixed point of k-strictly pseudocontractive mappings with respect to p in p-uniformly convex Banach spaces. Our results answer partially the open question proposed by Marino and Xu, and extend Reich's theorem from nonexpansive mappings to k-strict pseudocontractive mappings.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove strong convergence of Mann iterative schemes to fixed points of multi-valued demicontractive non-self mappings in complete CAT(0) spaces under appropriate conditions. In addition, △? convergence or strong convergence of Mann iterative scheme to a fixed point of single-valued k-strictly pseudocontractive non-self mapping is obtained. We study the stability of a Hummel–Seebeck like method for solving variational inclusions of the form 0?∈?f(x)?+?G(x), where f is a single-valued function while G stands for a set-valued mapping, both of them acting in Banach spaces.
