On several new Hilbert-type inequalities involving means operators

In this paper, we establish several new Hilbert-type inequalities with a homogeneous kernel, involving arithmetic, geometric, and harmonic mean operators in both integral and discrete case. Such inequalities are derived by virtue of some recent results regarding general Hilbert-type inequalities and some well-known classical inequalities. We also prove that the constant factors appearing in established inequalities are the best possible. As an application, we consider some particular settings and compare our results with previously known from the literature.     

Functional inequalities involving Bessel and modified Bessel functions of the first kind

In this paper, we extend some known elementary trigonometric inequalities, and their hyperbolic analogues to Bessel and modified Bessel functions of the first kind. In order to prove our main results, we present some monotonicity and convexity properties of some functions involving Bessel and modified Bessel functions of the first kind. We also deduce some Turán and Lazarević-type inequalities for the confluent hypergeometric functions.     

Some inequalities involving π and an application to Hilbert's inequality

Some inequalities involving π are proved. As an application, we give some strengthened Hilbert's inequalities.     

Some Hardy-Type Inequalities

In this paper, some new Hardy-type inequalities involving many functions are obtained. These on the one hand generalize and on the other hand improve some existing results by Isumi and Isumi, Levinson, and Pachpatte on this famous type of inequalities.

On the relationship between two three-critical-point theorems

In this paper we analyze the hypotheses of two theorems which have proven to be useful tools for obtaining the existence of three critical points in nonlinear problems. In both cases the hypotheses can be stated in terms of some elementary inequalities involving “coercive” (in a suitable sense) sets of affine functions. We prove that the two resulting inequalities are in fact equivalent.     

Some results on extending and sharpening the Weierstrass product inequalities

In this paper, we establish two extensions of Weierstrass's inequality involving symmetric functions by means of the theory of majorization, and give an interesting sharpness of Weierstrass's inequality by using the arithmetic-geometric mean inequality. Furthermore, we apply these results to improve a well-known inequality and deduce some new inequalities.

Functional inequalities for the Wright functions

In this paper, our aim is to show some mean value inequalities for the Wright function, such as Turán-type inequalities, Lazarevi?-type inequalities, Wilker-type inequalities and Redheffer-type inequalities. Moreover, we prove monotonicity of ratios for sections of series of Wright functions, the result is also closely connected with Turán-type inequalities. In the end of the paper, we present some other inequalities for the Wright function.

Weak sharpness for set-valued variational inequalities and applications to finite termination of iterative algorithms

In this paper, we introduce the notion of weak sharpness for set-valued variational inequalities in the n-dimensional Euclidean space and then present some characterizations of weak sharpness. We also give some examples to illustrate this notion. Under the assumption of weak sharpness, by using the inner limit of a set sequence we establish a sufficient and necessary condition to guarantee the finite termination of an arbitrary algorithm for solving a set-valued variational inequality involving maximal monotone mappings. As an application, we show that the sequence generated by the hybrid projection-proximal point algorithm proposed by Solodov and Svaiter terminates at solutions in a finite number of iterations. These obtained results extend some known results of classical variational inequalities.     

Norm inequalities for the spectral spread of Hermitian operators

In this work, we introduce a new measure for the dispersion of the spectral scale of a Hermitian (self-adjoint) operator acting on a separable infinite-dimensional Hilbert space that we call spectral spread. Then, we obtain some submajorization inequalities involving the spectral spread of self-adjoint operators, that are related to Tao's inequalities for anti-diagonal blocks of positive operators, Kittaneh's commutator inequalities for positive operators and also related to the arithmetic–geometric mean inequality. In turn, these submajorization relations imply inequalities for unitarily invariant norms (in the compact case).     

Some new and short proofs for a class of Caffarelli-Kohn-Nirenberg type inequalities

In this note we provide simple and short proofs for a class of inequalities of Caffarelli-Kohn-Nirenberg type with sharp constants. Our approach suggests some definitions of weighted Sobolev spaces and their embedding into weighted L² spaces. These may be useful in studying solvability of problems involving new singular PDEs.     

Schur-Convex Functions and Isoperimetric Inequalities

In this paper, we establish some analytic inequalities for Schur-convex functions that are made of solutions of a second order nonlinear differential equation. We apply these analytic inequalities to obtain some geometric inequalities.

离散型Carlson's不等式的一些推广及改进

In this paper, we consider Carlson type inequalities and discuss their possible improvement. First, we obtain two different types of generalizations of discrete Carlson's inequality by using the Hlder inequality and the method of real analysis, then we combine the obtained results with a summation formula of infinite series and some Mathieu type inequalities to establish some improvements of discrete Carlson's inequality and some Carlson type inequalities which are equivalent to the Mathieu type inequalities. Finally, we prove an integral inequality that enables us to deduce an improvement of the Nagy-Hardy-Carlson inequality.
