Pores and fractures in rocks are continually being reshaped through different chemical and physical processes. Fluids filling the pore space carry the different chemical species responsible for these changes. In the present work we study the relative effects of drift and diffusion of these particles, through a random walk. A bias imposed on the walker determines the competition between drift and diffusion, i.e. to a variation of the Peclet number. We find that the pore structure and hence permeability depends strongly on the bias.  相似文献

Within the framework of an effective field approximation, the effects of single-ion anisotropy and different trimodal transverse fields of two sublattices on the critical properties of the mixed spin-1/2 and spin-1 Ising system are investigated on the simple cubic lattice. A smaller single-ion anisotropy can magnify magnetic ordering phases and a larger one can depress magnetic ordering phase for T-Ω1/2 space at low temperatures, while a smaller single-ion anisotropy can hardly change the value of critical transverse field for T-Ω1 space. On the other hand, influences of two different trimodal transverse fields concentrations on tricritical points and magnetic ordering phases take on some interesting results in T-D space. The main reason comes from the common action of single-ion anisotropy, different transverse fields and two trimodal distributions.  相似文献

Effective Gradients in Porous Media Due to Susceptibility Differences   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
In porous media, magnetic susceptibility differences between the solid phase and the fluid filling the pore space lead to field inhomogeneities inside the pore space. In many cases, diffusion of the spins in the fluid phase through these internal inhomogeneities controls the transverse decay rate of the NMR signal. In disordered porous media such as sedimentary rocks, a detailed evaluation of this process is in practice not possible because the field inhomogeneities depend not only on the susceptibility difference but also on the details of the pore geometry. In this report, the major features of diffusion in internal gradients are analyzed with the concept of effective gradients. Effective gradients are related to the field inhomogeneities over the dephasing length, the typical length over which the spins diffuse before they dephase. For the CPMG sequence, the dependence of relaxation rate on echo spacing can be described to first order by a distribution of effective gradients. It is argued that for a given susceptibility difference, there is a maximum value for these effective gradients,gmax, that depends on only the diffusion coefficient, the Larmor frequency, and the susceptibility difference. This analysis is applied to the case of water-saturated sedimentary rocks. From a set of NMR measurements and a compilation of a large number of susceptibility measurements, we conclude that the effective gradients in carbonates are typically smaller than gradients of current NMR well logging tools, whereas in many sandstones, internal gradients can be comparable to or larger than tool gradients.  相似文献

We show that gas diffusion nuclear magnetic resonance (GD-NMR) provides a powerful technique for probing the structure of porous media. In random packs of glass beads, using both laser-polarized and thermally polarized xenon gas, we find that GD-NMR can accurately measure the pore space surface-area-to-volume ratio, S/V rho, and the tortuosity, alpha (the latter quantity being directly related to the system's transport properties). We also show that GD-NMR provides a good measure of the tortuosity of sandstone and complex carbonate rocks.  相似文献

推导低渗透各向异性油藏压裂水平井井筒与盒式油藏耦合的非稳态模型,并给出求解方法.模型考虑摩阻和加速度的影响,并可以使用不同类型的约束条件.实例计算表明,压裂水平井的流动可分为非稳态阶段和拟稳态阶段.在非稳态阶段,各条裂缝的产量相差不大,总产量随着裂缝条数的增加呈线性增加;在拟稳态阶段,两端裂缝产量高于中部裂缝的产量.受摩阻和加速度压降的影响,空间上位置对称的裂缝在流量上呈现不对称性.井筒内压力损失的存在将使水平井的产量降低,并使井筒内的压力分布不均匀.在最小井底流压的基础上固定流量时,裂缝条数越多,稳产期也越长.  相似文献

It is well established that the free-space Green's function can be recovered from the two-point cross-correlation function of a random noise field if the noise is white and isotropic. Ambient noise in the ocean rarely satisfies either of these conditions. However, a non-uniform spectrum could be pre-whitened by the application of a suitable filter but anisotropy cannot be so readily eliminated. To investigate the effects of vertical anisotropy, three azimuthally uniform, spatially homogeneous noise fields are analyzed, two of which are idealized, while the third is representative of ambient noise in the deep ocean. In each case, the coherence function, the cross-correlation function, and the derivative of the latter with respect to the correlation delay, are derived for vertical and horizontal alignments of the sensor pair. With vertical sensors, any step-function discontinuity in the directional density function is mapped into a delta function at an appropriate time delay in the derivative (with respect to time delay) of the cross-correlation function. No such mapping occurs with horizontal sensors. In this case, only horizontally traveling noise can generate delta functions in the derivative of the cross-correlation function, and these always appear at the retarded time on either side of the origin.  相似文献

The magnetic properties and domain structure of FeCoAlON thin films with thicknesses varying from 55 to 550 nm have been studied, and conditions favoring preparation of FeCoAlON films with uniaxial anisotropy in the direction normal to the film plane, which is required for designing “perpendicular” super-high-density information recording, have been established. In FeCoAlON films with a thickness up to 300 nm, the domain structure consists of cross-linked domain walls, because strong demagnetizing field suppresses formation of stripe domains. After the film thickness has reached 320 nm, cross-linked domain walls transform into stripe domains, with uniaxial anisotropy in the film plane disappearing, to become replaced by uniaxial anisotropy in the direction normal to the film plane, which can be assigned to magnetoelastic stresses induced by nitrogen atoms filling up interstitial space in the (110) plane. A further increase in the film thickness (up to 550 nm) leads to a rotational anisotropy due to the increase of nitrogen concentration in interstitials and the increase of magnetoelastic stresses.  相似文献

A novel nuclear magnetic resonance method has been applied to several sandstone rocks to measure the pore size distribution using the magnetization decay due to diffusion in the internal magnetic field (DDIF). By comparing the results of the DDIF and Hg porosimetry experiments, a clear picture of pore connectivity emerges. The pore body diameter can be defined using the DDIF data and is found to have a clear trend as a function of porosity.  相似文献

地震发生的物理机理和过程是还没有认识清楚的问题. 此前人们将浅源地震归因于弹性回跳,根据这一观点和岩石实验结果计算得到的地震能量与实际观测结果有很大矛盾,被称之为“热流佯谬”. 中源和深源地震发生在地幔区域,其成因也没有合理的解释. 考虑到地壳和地幔是离散集合态物质体系及其慢动力学运动行为的基本特点,本文根据物理学原理,特别是近年凝聚态物理发展出来的相关新观念,并依据已有观测事实,从新的视角探究地震发生的物理机制. 1) 关于地壳岩石层中的应力分布:在不考虑构造力时,依据万物皆流的流变学原理,原始地壳岩石在自重压强长时间作用下,纵向和横向应力相同,没有差应力. 大地构造力推动岩块滞滑移动挤压断层泥,施加于其他岩块,逐渐传递和积累. 这种附加的横向构造力与原始岩石中应力叠加,形成地壳岩石层中的实时应力. 由于断层泥属于颗粒物质体系,具有与岩石不同的力学特征,其弹性模量比岩石小得多,且随压强而增大,导致构造作用力随深度非线性增大. 给出了地壳中构造应力分布及其变化规律. 2) 关于地壳岩石层强度:地壳岩石的自重会使岩石发生弹性–塑性转变. 通过对弹性–塑性转变深度的计算,并根据实际情况分析,给出了地壳岩石弹性、部分塑性和完全塑性三个区域的典型深度范围. 在部分塑性区,塑性体比例达到约10%以上时,发生塑性连通,这时岩石剪切强度由塑性特征决定. 塑性滑移的等效摩擦系数比脆性破裂小一个数量级以上,致使塑性滑移时岩石剪切强度比脆性破裂小得多. 同时,随深度增大,有多种因素使得岩石剪切屈服强度减小. 另一方面,地震是大范围岩石破坏,破坏必然沿薄弱路径发生. 因此,浅源地震岩石的实际破坏强度必定比通常观测到的岩石剪切强度值低. 给出了地壳岩石平均强度和实际破坏强度典型值随深度的分布规律. 3) 关于地震发生的条件和机制:地震发生必定产生体积膨胀,只有突破阻挡才可膨胀. 地震发生的条件是:大地构造力超过岩石破坏强度、断层边界摩擦力以及所受阻挡力之和. 因此,浅源地震是岩石突破阻挡发生的塑性滑移. 在此基础上提出了浅源地震发生的四种可能模式. 深源地震是冲破阻挡发生的大范围岩块流. 浅源地震和深源地震都是堵塞–解堵塞转变,是解堵塞后岩石层块滑移或流动造成的能量释放. 4) 关于地震能量和临震前兆信息:地震能量即为堵塞–解堵塞转变过程释放的动能. 以实例估算表明,地震岩石滑移动能与使岩块剪切破坏和克服周围摩擦阻力所需做的功相一致,不会出现热流佯谬. 同时指出,通过观测地震发生前构造力的积累过程、局域地区地质变迁以及岩石状态变化等所产生的效应,均可能获得有价值的地震前兆信息. 关键词: 地震发生机制 热流佯谬 地壳岩石应力和强度 堵塞–解堵塞转变  相似文献

Three types of commercially available carbonate rocks were used in the study to determine the effect of thermal treatment in the range from 100 °C to 500 °C on porosity features in terms of two different approaches such as pore shape factor and quality index values. The ratio of the ultrasonic velocity measurements before and after water saturation was used to differentiate porosity of pores from porosity of cracks under varying temperatures. It was found that, pores in Burdur Beige and Usak White are in the form of cracks, which are situated through inner structure. On the other hand, pores in Patara Limestone are in the form of porosity with lower pore shape factor values. Quality index calculation is another approach based on the comparison of the measured and theoretical ultrasonic velocity values. When the rocks were subjected to higher temperatures, internal stress was developed, crack lengths and numbers were increased and finally the higher pore shape factor and lower quality index values were obtained. This situation was proven by the higher water absorption values for all the stone types with the higher pore shape factor and lower quality index values depend on the noticeable increase in effective porosity values.  相似文献

A microscopic mechanism of the long-range order in two-dimensional space induced by random local fields of crystal defects has been found. The impurity-induced effective anisotropy has been shown to arise in the system due to anisotropic distribution of impurity-induced random local field directions in the n-dimensional space of vector order parameter with the O(n) symmetry. The expression for the effective anisotropy constant has been obtained. A weak anisotropy of the “easy axis” type transforms the XY model and the Heisenberg model to the class of Ising models, and brings into long-range order existence in the system.  相似文献

The present work involves a comprehensive experimental determination of porosity and pore size distribution in rocks from oil fields formations by deuterium (2H) Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and Positronium Annihilation Lifetime Spectroscopy (PALS). Both techniques yield complementary results; PALS measures the average pore size providing bulk information from which the most abundant pore size can be obtained, and NMR allows for the determination of the relative pore size distribution accurately. Both techniques give complementary information to obtain an absolute pore size distribution.  相似文献

油气储层岩石的三阶弹性常数反映了该岩石的速度应力敏感性,是利用声波测井或地震资料进行原位地应力反演的基本参数。本文阐述了利用声弹性理论在实验室测量岩石三阶弹性常数的原理与方法,并给出了部分实验结果。这些参数将为研究声波在预应力声场中传播规律的提供基础数据,同时也为定量分析利用交叉偶极声波测井评价地应力的精度提供了依据。不同岩石的三阶弹性常数较大差异表明,通过速度各向异性进行应力反演时必须考虑岩石本身非线性的差异。  相似文献

We propose constitutive models for polycrystalline aggregates with intergranular cavities and test them against full-field numerical simulations. Such conditions are prevalent in many engineering applications and failure of metallic components (e.g. HIPing and other forming processes, spallation under dynamic loading conditions, etc.), where the dilatational effects associated with the presence of cavities must be accounted for, and standard polycrystalline models for incompressible plasticity are not appropriate. On the other hand, it is not clear that the use of porous plasticity models with isotropic matrix behavior is relevant, particularly, when large deformations can lead to significant texture evolution and therefore to strong matrix anisotropy. Of course, finite strains can also lead to significant changes in the porosity and pore shape, resulting in additional anisotropy development. In this work, we make use of ‘variational linear-comparison’ homogenization methods to develop constitutive models simultaneously accounting for texture of the matrix, porosity and average pore shape and orientation. The predictions of the models are compared with full-field numerical simulations based on fast Fourier transforms to study the influence of different microstructural features (e.g. overall porosity, texture of the matrix phase, single-crystal anisotropy, etc.) and type of loading (triaxiality) on the dilatational viscoplastic behavior of voided polycrystals. The results are also compared with the predictions of isotropic-matrix porous plasticity models to assess the effect of the possible matrix anisotropy in textured samples.  相似文献

A nonlinear diffusion-type evolutionary equation that describes the effect of sense anisotropy of velocity when the front of a solitary wave (kink) moves with unequal velocities in the forward and (when an external field reverses sign) backward directions is suggested. A prerequisite for such behavior is space symmetry breaking in the system. The equation is applied to describing the dynamics of 180° domain walls in ferromagnets with negative cubic crystalline anisotropy. A theoretical study of the horizontal anisotropy of dynamic oceanic noise is carried out. It is assumed that an anisotropic noise field distribution arises in the ocean because of noise field scattering from wind waves. Different computational scheme for calculating surface integrals in anisotropic Brillouin zones are compared. An example of the transport distribution function (plasma frequency) of the thermoelectric material Bi(2)Te(3) near the band edges is discussed. The layered structure of the material together with the rhombohedral symmetry causes a strong anisotropy of the transport distribution function for the directions in the basal plane (in-plane) and perpendicular to the basal plane (out-of-plane). It is shown that a thorough reciprocal space integration is necessary to reproduce the in-plane/out-of-plane anisotropy. A quantitative comparison can be made at the band edges, where the transport anisotropy is given in terms of the anisotropic mass tensor.  相似文献
