运筹学是自20世纪三四十年代发展起来的一门新兴交叉学科,主要研究如何应用数学和计算的理论与方法对社会系统和工程系统做出最优或满意的决策。为了更好地推动中国运筹学及相关领域的研究和应用,学会组织国内运筹学领域的部分专家,并参考了国内外运筹学多个分支代表性人物对运筹学的起源和发展的回忆与评述,共同完成了此报告。报告概述了运筹学的主要特征和方法,简述了运筹学的发展历程,剖析了运筹学研究中的成功经验,综述了运筹学几个主要分支的发展状况,介绍了运筹学中十几个有代表性的难题,展望了运筹学未来发展的方向。希望此报告能引起读者进一步思考运筹学的本质,运筹学是如何成长和将如何发展,并在一定程度上推动中国运筹学更好地发展。  相似文献

With the rapid growth of databases in many modern enterprises data mining has become an increasingly important approach for data analysis. The operations research community has contributed significantly to this field, especially through the formulation and solution of numerous data mining problems as optimization problems, and several operations research applications can also be addressed using data mining methods. This paper provides a survey of the intersection of operations research and data mining. The primary goals of the paper are to illustrate the range of interactions between the two fields, present some detailed examples of important research work, and provide comprehensive references to other important work in the area. The paper thus looks at both the different optimization methods that can be used for data mining, as well as the data mining process itself and how operations research methods can be used in almost every step of this process. Promising directions for future research are also identified throughout the paper. Finally, the paper looks at some applications related to the area of management of electronic services, namely customer relationship management and personalization.  相似文献

The implementation of operations research findings is a major obstacle to increased use of operations research by management. A number of researchers have used a research approach called the factor paradigm. We appear to need an approach which focuses on the dynamics of implementation. A recognition of the different roles of the analyst would help improve the interplay between analyst and client system. This review paper is meant to provide some insight to the relation between operations research and the management of electronic services. We use the term electronic services, within the broader e-business context, to refer to any service that is delivered to the customer via electronic means, mainly the Internet as a new channel to communicate with customers, but also through mobile and other digital communications. During the last years we have experienced an explosion in the development of electronic services, which is creating abundant opportunities for operations research (OR) applications, required to empower several types of technology-mediated interactions, exploit the large-scale digital data sources, and automate the recurring operational decisions. In this paper we summarise the various aspects in which operations research may support the management of electronic services, taking into account the different characteristics of alternative electronic media, such as the Internet, mobile communications, interactive television etc.  相似文献

Approximate dynamic programming has evolved, initially independently, within operations research, computer science and the engineering controls community, all searching for practical tools for solving sequential stochastic optimization problems. More so than other communities, operations research continued to develop the theory behind the basic model introduced by Bellman with discrete states and actions, even while authors as early as Bellman himself recognized its limits due to the “curse of dimensionality” inherent in discrete state spaces. In response to these limitations, subcommunities in computer science, control theory and operations research have developed a variety of methods for solving different classes of stochastic, dynamic optimization problems, creating the appearance of a jungle of competing approaches. In this article, we show that there is actually a common theme to these strategies, and underpinning the entire field remains the fundamental algorithmic strategies of value and policy iteration that were first introduced in the 1950’s and 60’s.  相似文献

为了研究联合勤务保障体系在作战行动中的作用,并为体系作战建立网络化的研究方法,提出了一种包含联合勤务网络的四层复杂作战网络,建立了相应的网络化模型。首先,对联合勤务保障体系进行了网络化的定义与描述,得到了认知域、信息域、物理域、联合勤务网络内每个节点的状态属性值;然后,建立了不同网络之间的涌现性模型,提出了作战链与勤务保障链的概念,通过定义涌现满足度曲线,得到了每个节点的网络涌现程度值;最后,针对同层网络和不同层网络分别提出了对应的网络体系同步能力提高方法。研究结果表明:建立的网络化模型与提高同步能力的方法合理有效,对于体系作战的量化研究有一定的实践意义。  相似文献

Cross-docking is a distribution strategy that enables the consolidation of less-than-truckload shipments into full truckloads without long-term storage. Due to the absence of a storage buffer inside a cross-dock, local and network-wide cross-docking operations need to be carefully synchronized. This paper proposes a framework specifying the interdependencies between different cross-docking problem aspects with the aim to support future research in developing decision models with practical and scientific relevance. The paper also presents a new general classification scheme for cross-docking research based on the inputs and outputs for each problem aspect. After classifying the existing cross-docking research, we conclude that the overwhelming majority of papers fail to consider the synchronization of local and network-wide cross-docking operations. Lastly, to highlight the importance of synchronization in cross-docking networks, two real-life illustrative problems are described that are not yet addressed in the literature.  相似文献

Operations research and data mining already have a long-established common history. Indeed, with the growing size of databases and the amount of data available, data mining has become crucial in modern science and industry. Data mining problems raise interesting challenges for several research domains, and in particular for operations research, as very large search spaces of solutions need to be explored. Hence, many operations research methods have been proposed to deal with such challenging problems. But the relationships between these two domains are not limited to these natural applications of operations research approaches. The counterpart is also important to consider, since data mining approaches have also been applied to improve operations research techniques. The aim of this article is to highlight the interplay between these two research disciplines. A particular emphasis will be placed on the emerging theme of applying multi-objective approaches in this context.  相似文献

To understand relationships between students’ quantitative reasoning with fractions and their algebraic reasoning, a clinical interview study was conducted with 18 middle and high school students. Six students with each of three different multiplicative concepts participated. This paper reports on the fractional knowledge and algebraic reasoning of six students with the most basic multiplicative concept. The fractional knowledge of these students was found to be consistent with prior research, in that the students had constructed partitioning and iteration operations but not disembedding operations, and that the students conceived of fractions as parts within wholes. The students’ iterating operations facilitated their work on algebra problems, but the lack of disembedding operations was a significant constraint in writing algebraic equations and expressions, as well as in generalizing relationships. Implications for teaching these students are discussed.  相似文献
