<Emphasis Type="Italic">N</Emphasis>-bridged heterocycles: regiospecific synthesis of 2-methyl-4H-pyrimido[2,1-<Emphasis Type="Italic">b</Emphasis>]benzothiazol-4-ones

N-bridged heterocycles, 2-methyl-4H-pyrimido[2,1-b]benzothiazol-4-ones, have been synthesized in quantitative yield by the reaction of 2-aminobenzothiazoles with ethylacetoacetate in the presence of polyphosphoric acid involving dehydrative condensation followed by cyclization. The possibility of the formation of 4-methyl-2H-pyrimido[2,1-b]benzothiazol-2-ones has been excluded on the basis of spectral studies.     

Diastereoselective reaction of (1S,2S)-2-amino-1-(4-nitrophenyl)-1,3-propanediol with aromatic aldehydes. Synthesis of (1R,2R,4S,5S,8S)-2,8-diaryl-4-(4-nitrophenyl)-1-aza-3,7-dioxabicyclo[3.3.0]octanes

We have synthesized a series of (1R,2R,4S,5S,8S)-2,8-diaryl-4-(4-nitrophenyl)-1-aza-3,7-dioxabicyclo[3.3.0]octanes as a result of reaction of (1S,2S)-2-amino-1-(4-nitrophenyl)-1,3-propanediol with aromatic aldehydes. Lanthanide perchlorate complexes of 4-cyano pyridine-N-oxide, 4-chloro 2-picoline-N-oxide and 4-dimethyl amino-2-picoline-N-oxide

Complexes of lanthanide perchlorates with 4-cyano pyridine-1-oxide, 4-chloro 2-picoline-1-oxide and 4-dimethyl-amino 2-picoline-1-oxide have been isolated for the first time and characterized by analysis, conductance, infrared, NMR and electronic spectra. The complexes of 4-cyano pyridine-1-oxides have the composition Ln(CyPO)₆(ClO₄)₃. 2H₂O (Ln=La, Sm, Dy and Ho); Ln(CyPO)₇ (ClO₄)₃. 2H₂O (Ln=Pr, Nd, Er and Yb); and Ln(CyPO)₅ (ClO₄)₃. 2H₂O (Ln=Gd and Tb). The complexes of 4-chloro 2-picoline-1-oxide analyse for the formulae Ln(CpicO)₆ (ClO₄)₃ (Ln=La, Pr, Nd and Ho); and Ln (CpicO)₅ (ClO₄)₃ (Ln=Er and Yb), and those of 4-dimethylamino 2-picoline-1-oxide for Ln(DMPicO)₆ (ClO₄)₃ (Ln=La and Nd); Ln(DMPicO)₇ (ClO₄)₃ (Ln=Gd, Er and Yb); and Ln(DMPicO)₈ (ClO₄)₃ (Ln=Dy and Ho).     

Synthesis of isomeric 2-oxazolidinones from (1<Emphasis Type="Italic">R</Emphasis>,2<Emphasis Type="Italic">R</Emphasis>)-and (1<Emphasis Type="Italic">S</Emphasis>,2<Emphasis Type="Italic">S</Emphasis>)-2-amino-1-(4-nitrophenyl)-1,3-propanediols

A synthesis is reported for (4R,5R)-and (4S,5S)-4-hydroxymethyl-5-(4-nitrophenyl)oxazolidin-2-ones and (1′R,4R)-and (1′S,4S)-4-[hydroxy(4-nitrophenyl)methyl]oxazolidin-2-ones from (1R,2R)-and (1S,2S)-2-amino-1-(4-nitrophenyl)-1,3-propanediols. 4-Hydroxy-2-quinolones 144. Alkyl-, arylalkyl-, and arylamides of 2-hydroxy-4-oxo-4H-pyrido[1,2-<Emphasis Type="Italic">a</Emphasis>]pyrimidine-3-carboxylic acid and their diuretic properties

Alkyl-, arylalkyl-, and arylamides of 2-hydroxy-4-oxo-4H-pyrido[1,2-a]pyrimidine-3-carboxylic acid were prepared with a view to establishing a structure-biological activity relationship. 中位-四(对烷氧苯基 )卟啉 Co2+、Cu2+、Zn2+、Pb2+配合物的合成与表征

Synthesis of fourteen new complexes of meso-tetrakis(4-alkoxyphenyl) porphyrins with Co²⁺, Cu²⁺, Zn²⁺, Pb²⁺ were presented in this paper.Meso-tetrakis (4-alkoxyphenyl) porphyrins were prepared by condensation of 4-alkoxybenzaldehydes with pyrrole, then treated with corresponding metallic acetate to produce mentioned complexes, IR, UV, ¹H NMR, MS and elementary analysis were explored to confirm the structures of all theses new complexes.Characteristic spectrometric data of IR, UV, ¹H NMR related to these complexes have been systematically summarized.Ten of the fourteen complexes were found to exhibit liquid crystal properties.

利用三有机锡氢氧化物和手性配体（4R）-3-[[（2S）-5-氧-2-吡咯烷基]羰基]-4-噻唑烷甲酸（HL）反应合成了3个三有机锡（4R）-3-[[（2S）-5-氧-2-吡咯烷基]羰基]-4-噻唑烷甲酸酯R₃SnL[1,R=c-C₆H₁₁（a）,C₆H₅（b）,C₆H₅C（CH₃）₂CH₂（c）],通过元素分析、IR、¹H NMR和X-射线单晶衍射表征了其结构。化合物1a属正交晶系,P2₁2₁2₁空间群;化合物1b属单斜晶系,P2₁空间群。二者均为由羧基氧和内酰胺羰基氧桥联配位形成的右螺旋链状有机锡配位聚合物,锡原子具有五配位[SnC₃O₂]畸变三角双锥构型。化合物1a和1b对体外2种人癌细胞Colo205和Bcap37增殖均有强的抑制作用,其活性为1b >1a。     

Conversion of 6-phenylimino-2H-thiopyran-4-amines to 1-phenyl-2,3-dihydro-4(1H)-pyridinones

Summary 6-Phenylimino-3,6-dihydro-2H-thiopyran-4-amines (1) were converted to 1-phenyl-5,6-dihydropyridine-2(1H)-thiones (3). Those were akylated and hydrolyzed, thus yielding 6-methylthio-1-phenyl-2,3-dihydro-4(1H)-pyridinones (5). Finally, the methylthio group was removed withRaney nickel giving the title compounds6. The relative configurations of the formed diastereoisomeric dihydropyridinones have been investigated by NOE measurements.

Umwandlung von 6-Phenylimino-2H-thiopyran-4-aminen zu 1-Phenyl-2,3-dihydro-4(1H)-pyridinonen

Zusammenfassung 6-Phenylimino-3,6-dihydro-2H-thiopyran-4-amine (1) wurden in 1-Phenyl-5,6-dihydropyridin-2(1H)-thione (3) umgewandelt. Diese wurden alkyliert und zu 6-Methylthio-1-phenyl-2,3-dihydro-4(1H)-pyridinonen (5) hydrolysiert. Zuletzt gelangte man durch selektives Entfernen der Methylthiogruppe mitRaney-Nickel zu den Titelverbindungen6. Die relativen Konfigurationen der gebildeten diastereomeren Dihydropyridinone wurden durch NOE-Messungen aufgeklärt.

     

Synthesis of 3-Aroylmethylene-1,6,7,11b-tetrahydro-2H-pyrazino-[2,1-<Emphasis Type="Italic">a</Emphasis>]isoquinolin-4-ones

The reaction of substituted methyl aroylpyruvates with 1-aminomethyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline dihydrochloride in the presence of AcOH gives 3-aroylmethylene-1,6,7,11b-tetrahydro-2H-pyrazino[2,1-a]isoquinolin-4-ones whose structures have been confirmed by IR, ¹H NMR, and mass spectrometry. __________ Translated from Khimiya Geterotsiklicheskikh Soedinenii, No. 8, pp. 1218–1221, August, 2005.     

3-烷基/芳基-6-(2', 4'-二氯苯基)-7H-1, 2, 4-三唑[3, 4-b]- 1, 3, 4-噻二 嗪的合成及波谱性质

以间二氯苯与氯乙酰氯反应,生成ω-氯代-2,4-二氯苯乙酮(1),再使之分别与3-烷基/芳基-4-氨基-5-巯基-1,2,4-三唑(2a～2l)反应,合成了12种新的3-烷基/芳基-6-(2',4'-二氯苯基)-7H-1,2,4-三唑并[3,4-b]1,3,4-噻二嗪(4a～4l)。利用EA,IR,^1HNMR确定了其结构,并提出该反应的可能机制。     

Direct and Second Order Analogue Derivative Extraction-Spectrophotometric Determination of Iron with 2 (4, 5-Dimethyl-2-Thiazolylazo)-4, 6-Dimethylphenol

Abstract

An extraction-spectrophotometric method for the determination of trace amounts of iron based on its extraction into chloroform with 2-(4, 5-dimethyl-2-thiazolylazo)-4, 6-dimethylphenol has been developed, which allows the determination of 5–28 μg Fe (?₇₇₃ = 1.38×10⁴ 1. mol^?1. cm^?1). The use of second order analogue derivative spectrophotometry allows the determination of down to 0.2–5 μg, Fe. The methods are quite selective and have been applied to the determination of iron in mineral waters.     

Reactions of 2-aryl-4-arylidene-4<Emphasis Type="Italic">H</Emphasis>-oxazol-5-ones with 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole, 5-aminotetrazole,and 2-aminobenzimidazole

The reactions of 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole, 5-aminotetrazole, and 2-aminobenzimidazole with 2-aryl-4-arylidene-4H-oxazol-5-ones (azlactones) were studied. The electron-releasing properties of the azole ring were demonstrated to influence the reaction pathway of azlactones with aminoazoles. The structures of the resulting compounds were established by ¹H and ¹³C NMR spectroscopy using spin-spin decoupling and the nuclear Overhauser effect.__________Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. 2-[6-Alkyl-3-hetaryl-4-oxo-9,10-dihydro-4H,8H-chromeno-[8,7-<Emphasis Type="Italic">e</Emphasis>][1,3]oxazin-9-yl]acetic acids

The interaction has been studied of a series of substituted 3-hetaryl-7-hydroxychromones with amino acids and formaldehyde (reactants ratio 1: 1: 2 respectively). In the case of glycine and Het = 3-isoxazolyl the product of aminomethylation at position 8 of the chromone was obtained, and with other Het (including Het = 4-phenyl-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl) 2-[6-alkyl-3-hetaryl-4-oxo-9,10-dihydro-4H,8H-chromeno[8,7-e][1,3]-oxazin-9-yl]acetic acids were formed. With β-alanine and Het = 4-phenyl-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl the corresponding β-substituted propionic acid was synthesized, but proline did not participate in the reaction, leading to bis(6-ethyl-3-hetaryl-7-hydroxychromon-8-yl)methane. __________ Translated from Khimiya Geterotsiklicheskikh Soedinenii, No. 5, pp. 683–689, May, 2007.     

Synthesis of pyrido[3,4-<Emphasis Type="Italic">d</Emphasis>]pyrimidines by condensation of ethyl 1-benzyl-3-oxopiperidine-4-carboxylate with morpholine-4-carboxamidine

Synthesis and reactivity of 2-polyfluoroalkylchromene-4(4<Emphasis Type="Italic">H</Emphasis>)-thiones

2-Polyfluoroalkylchromene-4(4H)-thiones, synthesized from 2-polyfluoroalkylchromones and P₂S₅, react with aniline, phenylhydrazines, and hydroxylamine at the C(4) atom and afford corresponding anils, phenylhydrazones, and oximes of chromones. On heating in alcohol in the presence of concentrated HCl, chromone phenylhydrazones and oximes undergo ring closure to form 3-(2-hydroxyaryl)-1-phenyl-5-polyfluoroalkylpyrazoles and 5-hydroxy-3-(2-hydroxyaryl)-5-polyfluoroalkyl-Δ²-isoxazolines.__________Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. Raman and infrared spectra of6Li2C2O4 and7Li2C2O4

Raman and infrared spectra of polycrystalline⁶Li₂C₂O₄ and⁷Li₂C₂O₄ have been investigated in the wavenumber region from 1,800 to 40 cm^–1. The internal C₂O₄ ^–2 vibrations have been studied on the basis of a D_2h molecular structure and the correlation field splittings have been found to be about 40 cm^–1 for the stretching modes and about 15 cm^–1 for the bending modes. The external vibrations of the Li⁺ and C₂O₄ ^–2 sites have been discussed by considering the results of the factor group analysis and the⁶Li/⁷Li isotope effect on the normal vibrations.

Raman- und Infrarot-Spektren von⁶Li₂C₂O₄ und⁷Li₂C₂O₄

Zusammenfassung Es wurdenRaman- und IR-Spektren von polykristallinem⁶Li₂C₂O₄ und⁷Li₂C₂O₄ im Bereich der Wellenzahlen von 1800 bis 40 cm^–1 untersucht. Die internen Schwingungen wurden auf der Basis einer D_2h Molekülstruktur analysiert. Für die Streckschwingungen wurde eine Korrelationsaufspaltung von etwa 40 cm^–1 gefunden, für die Deformationsschwingungen etwa 15 cm^–1. Die Diskussion der externen Schwingungen von Li⁺ und C₂O₄ ^–2 erfolgte unter Berücksichtigung der Resultate der Faktorgruppenanalyse und des⁶Li/⁷Li Isotopeneffekts auf die Normalschwingungen.

     

4-Hydroxy-2-quinolones 143. Synthesis,structure, and spectroscopic characteristics of ethyl 2-hydroxy-4-oxo-4H-pyrazino[1,2-<Emphasis Type="Italic">a</Emphasis>]pyrimidine-3-carboxylate

Condensation of aminopyrazine with triethyl methanetricarboxylate gave ethyl 2-hydroxy-4-oxo-4H-pyrazino[1,2-a]pyrimidine-3-carboxylate. Synthesis of 2-(4′-R-benzylidene)-4-aza-1,3-indanediones and investigation of isomerization around the exocyclic double bond

2-Benzylidene-4-aza-1,3-indanediones have been synthesized and their structures have been investigated by NMR spectroscopy and quantum chemistry in the AM1 approximation. It was established that rotation about the exocyclic C(2)=C(10) formal double bond occurs in chloroform solutions of these compounds.
