A copper catalyst has been explored as an efficient and recyclable catalyst to effect Sonogashira and Suzuki cross‐coupling reactions. After modification of 2‐(((piperazin‐1‐ylmethyl)imino)methyl)phenol (PP) on the surface of amorphous silica‐coated iron oxide (Fe3O4@SiO2@Cl) magnetic core–shell nanocomposite, copper(II) chloride was employed to synthesize the Fe3O4@SiO2@PP‐Cu catalyst, affording a copper loading of 1.52 mmol g−1. High yield, low reaction times, non‐toxicity and recyclability of the catalyst are the main merits of this protocol. The catalyst was characterized using Fourier transform infrared, X‐ray photoelectron, energy‐dispersive X‐ray and inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopies, X‐ray diffraction, scanning and transmission electron microscopies, and vibrating sample magnetometry.  相似文献

A new heterogeneous catalyst, Cr(III) Schiff base‐containing layered double hydroxide, was synthesized using the intercalation method. The Cr(III) Schiff base complex derived from 2‐hydroxy‐1‐naphthaldehyde and 4‐aminobenzoic acid was intercalated into the layered double hydroxide. The synthesized materials were characterized using inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry, energy‐dispersive X‐ray analysis, scanning electron microscopy, X‐ray diffraction, Brunauer–Emmett–Teller surface area measurement, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, diffuse reflectance UV–visible spectroscopy and electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy. The catalytic activity was investigated for the oxidation of ethylbenzene with tert‐butylhydroperoxide as an oxidant under solvent‐free conditions as well as with lower chromium concentrations. In the oxidation reaction, ethylbenzene was oxidized to acetophenone and benzaldehyde. The catalyst was recycled ten times without significant loss of catalytic activity. Leaching studies performed with hot filtration experiments showed that the chromium catalyst was heterogeneous in nature and stable under the reaction conditions.  相似文献

The cerium oxidation states in single catalyst particles of Pt/Ce2Zr2Ox (x=7 to 8) were investigated by spatially resolved nano X‐ray absorption fine structure (nano‐XAFS) using an X‐ray nanobeam. Differences in the distribution of the Ce oxidation states between Pt/Ce2Zr2Ox single particles of different oxygen compositions x were visualized in the obtained two‐dimensional X‐ray fluorescent (XRF) mapping images and the Ce LIII‐edge nano X‐ray absorption near‐edge structure (nano‐XANES) spectra.  相似文献

Zirconium oxide complex‐functionalized mesoporous MCM‐41 (Zr‐oxide@MCM‐41) as an efficient and reusable catalyst is reported for the oxidation of sulfides into sulfoxides using hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) as the oxidant, with short reaction times in good to excellent yields at room temperature under solvent‐free conditions. Also, a simple and efficient method is reported for the oxidative coupling of thiols into corresponding disulfides in good to high yields using H2O2 as oxidant in the presence of Zr‐oxide@MCM‐41 as recoverable catalyst in ethanol at room temperature. A series of sulfides and thiols possessing functional groups was successfully converted into corresponding products. After completion of reactions the catalyst was easily separated with simple filtration from the reaction mixture and reused for several consecutive runs without significant loss of catalytic efficiency. The mesoporous catalyst was characterized using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, Brunauer–Emmett–Teller surface area measurements, X‐ray diffraction, transmission and scanning electron microscopies, energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis. Copper(II) complex of a Schiff base ligand derived from pyrrolcarbaldehyde and o‐phenylenediamine (H2L) has been synthesized and encapsulated in Y‐zeolite matrix. The hybrid material has been characterized by elemental analysis, IR and UV‐Vis spectroscopic studies as well as X‐ray diffraction (XRD) pattern. The encapsulated copper(II) catalyst is an active catalyst for the oxidation of cyclooctene and cyclohexene using H2O2 as oxidant. Under the optimized reaction conditions 81% conversion of cyclohexene with 65% selectivity for 2‐cyclohexenone formation and 87% conversion of cyclooctene with 46% selectivity for epoxide formation were obtained.  相似文献

Magnetic mesoporous silica was prepared via embedding magnetite nanoparticles between channels of mesoporous silica (SBA‐15). The prepared composite (Fe3O4@SiO2‐SBA) was then reacted with 3‐chloropropyltriethoxysilane, sodium imidazolide and 2‐bromopyridine to give 3‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)‐1H‐imidazol‐3‐iumpropyl‐functionalized Fe3O4@SiO2‐SBA as a supported pincer ligand for Pd(II). The functionalized magnetic mesoporous silica was further reacted with [PdCl2(SMe2)2] to produce a supported N‐heterocyclic carbene–Pd(II) complex. The obtained catalyst was characterized using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, energy‐dispersive X‐ray analysis, vibrating sample magnetometry, Brunauer–Emmett–Teller surface area measurement and X‐ray diffraction. The amount of the loaded complex was 80.3 mg g?1, as calculated through thermogravimetric analysis. The formation of the ordered mesoporous structure of SBA‐15 was confirmed using low‐angle X‐ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. Also, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy confirmed the presence of the Pd(II) complex on the magnetic support. The prepared magnetic catalyst was then effectively used in the coupling reaction of olefins with aryl halides, i.e. the Heck reaction, in the presence of a base. The reaction parameters, such as solvent, base, temperature, amount of catalyst and reactant ratio, were optimized by choosing the coupling reaction of 1‐bromonaphthalene and styrene as a model Heck reaction. N‐Methylpyrrolidone as solvent, 0.25 mol% catalyst, K2CO3 as base, reaction temperature of 120°C and ultrasonication of the catalyst for 10 min before use provided the best conditions for the Heck cross‐coupling reaction. The best results were observed for aryl bromides and iodides while aryl chlorides were found to be less reactive. The catalyst exhibited noticeable stability and reusability.  相似文献

Copper(I) oxide nanoparticles supported on magnetic casein (Cu2O/Casein@Fe3O4NPs) has been synthesized as a bio‐supported catalyst and was characterized using powder X‐ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, energy dispersive X‐ray and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopies, thermogravimetric analysis and inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry. The catalytic activity of the synthesized catalyst was investigated in one‐pot three‐component reactions of alkyl halides, sodium azide and alkynes to prepare 1,4‐disubstituted 1,2,3‐triazoles with high yields in water. The reaction work‐up is simple and the catalyst can be magnetically separated from the reaction medium and reused in subsequent reactions.  相似文献

HMCM‐22 catalysts modified with La2O3 (5% La) and MgO (≈0.87% Mg) were prepared respectively by impregnation method, and were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X‐ray diffraction, N2 physical adsorption‐desorption and temperature‐programmed desorption of NH3. The effect of supported metallic oxides (La2O3, MgO) on catalytic performance in xylene isomerization of C8 aromatics (ethylbenzene, m‐xylene and o‐xylene) was investigated in detail. The experimental results showed that 5% La/HMCM‐22 catalyst had higher isomerization activity and stronger shape‐selectivity than 0.87% Mg/HMCM‐22 catalyst, owing to its more acid sites and smaller pore size. And the loading amount of La was optimized to be about 7%. Moreover, supporting metal over 7% La/HMCM‐22, respectively with 0.3% Pt, 3% Ni and 3% Mo, was carried out to prepare bifunctional isomerization catalysts. In comparison, 3% Mo/7% La/HMCM‐22 showed the best catalytic performance with both high activity and high selectivity, with the low hydrocracking of m‐xylene and o‐xylene. Besides, the optimal reaction conditions were found: 340°C, 1.5 MPa H2, WHSV 4 h?1 and H2/C8 4 mol/mol. Under the above conditions, ethylbenzene conversion was up to 20%, para‐selectivity was over 23% with low xylene loss of 2.9%.  相似文献

The cerium density and valence in micrometer‐size platinum‐supported cerium–zirconium oxide Pt/Ce2Zr2Ox (x=7–8) three‐way catalyst particles were successfully mapped by hard X‐ray spectro‐ptychography (ptychographic‐X‐ray absorption fine structure, XAFS). The analysis of correlation between the Ce density and valence in ptychographic‐XAFS images suggested the existence of several oxidation behaviors in the oxygen storage process in the Ce2Zr2Ox particles. Ptychographic‐XAFS will open up the nanoscale chemical imaging and structural analysis of heterogeneous catalysts.  相似文献

Surface modification of Fe3O4 nanoparticles with triethoxyethylcyanide groups was used for the immobilization of palladium nanoparticles to produce Fe3O4/Ethyl‐CN/Pd. The catalyst was characterized using Fourier transform infrared, wavelength‐dispersive X‐ray, energy‐dispersive X‐ray and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopies, field‐emission scanning electron and transmission electron microscopies, and X‐ray diffraction, vibrating sample magnetometry and inductively coupled plasma analyses. In this fabrication, cyano groups played an important role as a capping agent. The catalytic behaviour of Fe3O4/Ethyl‐CN/Pd nanoparticles was measured in the Suzuki cross‐coupling reaction of various aryl halides (Ar? I, Ar? Br, Ar? Cl) with phenylboronic acid in aqueous phase at room temperature. Interestingly, the novel catalyst could be recovered in a facile manner from the reaction mixture by applying an external magnet device and recycled seven times without any significant loss in activity. Nanoparticles are key focus of research for a wide range of novel applications. As such, ZnFe2O4 magnetic nanoparticles were synthesized hydrothermally and characterized via scanning and transmission electron microscopies, powder X‐ray diffraction, energy‐dispersive X‐ray and infrared spectroscopies, thermogravimetric analysis and magnetic measurements. They were used as a robust catalyst for the synthesis of a series of biologically active multi‐substituted imidazoles using a multicomponent reaction by the reaction of benzil with various aromatic aldehydes, ammonium acetate and aliphatic amines (N,N‐dimethyl‐1,3‐propanediamine and 1‐amino‐2‐propanol) under solvent‐free conditions. The key advantages of this method are shorter reaction times, very high yield and ease of operation. The thermally and chemically stable, benign and economical catalyst was easily recovered using an external magnet and reused in at least five successive runs without an appreciable loss of activity. All of these novel synthesized compounds were characterized from spectral data and their purities were checked using thin‐layer chromatography, giving one spot. Furthermore, the prepared compounds were tested for their anti‐inflammatory activity.  相似文献

A CuO/Al2O3 catalyst was prepared using the impregnation method. The catalytic activity of CuO/Al2O3 for the ozonation of acid red B (ARB) in aqueous solution was studied, the chemical oxygen demand (COD) removal rate was an indicator for catalytic activity evaluation. The effects of initial ARB concentration, solution pH, and different oxidative degradation systems on oxidative degradation of ARB solution were studied. The CuO/Al2O3 catalyst was characterized using X‐ray diffractometry (XRD), N2 adsorption desorption test, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and zero‐point charge (pHzpc). The results show that copper species on the carrier were in the form of CuO and highly dispersed on the carrier. CuO can increase the alkalinity of the Al2O3 surface, and the CuO/Al2O3 catalyst facilitates the decomposition of O3 into ·OH, which was beneficial for the catalytic O3 oxidation degradation reaction. With the increase of the initial concentration of simulated wastewater, the CuO/Al2O3 catalytic reaction still has a high COD removal rate. Alkaline solution was of benefit to catalyze the degradation of ARB solution. When the ARB solution pH = 8.93, the degradation reaction was carried out for 40 min, the COD removal rate reached 83.2%. The degradation reaction was dominated by the hydroxyl radical (·OH) reaction.  相似文献

Supported palladium catalyst (Pd/Fe3O4@SiO2) was easily prepared by supporting PdCl2 on silica‐coated magnetic nanoparticles Fe3O4 in ethylene glycol. The as‐prepared sample was characterized by infrared spectroscopy (IR), X‐ray diffraction (XRD) and X‐ray photoelectron spectrometer (XPS). The formation of active specie Pd(0) was confirmed by XRD and XPS, and the Pd loading for the fresh and recovered catalyst was determined by atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS). Pd/Fe3O4@SiO2 was employed for the synthesis of biphenyl derivatives via Suzuki reaction. In terms of the yield of biphenyl, the supported catalyst displayed nearly equal catalytic performance to that of homologous PdCl2 under microwave irradiation for 30 min but higher than that obtained by traditional heating method for 12 h. The catalytic performance of Pd/Fe3O4@SiO2 for Suzuki reactions involving various aryl halides and arylboronic acids were also examined. Impressive yield of biphenyl at 68.2% was obtained even in the presence of unreactive aryl chlorides. Pd/Fe3O4@SiO2 was recovered by a permanent magnet and directly reused in the next run, and no obvious deactivation was observed for up to 6 times. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In the current study, a novel and reusable biological urea based nano magnetic catalyst namely Fe3O4@SiO2@(CH2)3‐urea‐benzimidazole sulfonic acid was designed and synthesized. The structure of the titled catalyst was fully characterized using several skills including Fourier transform infrared (FT‐IR) spectroscopy, energy dispersive X‐ray (EDX) analysis, X‐ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), thermo gravimetric analysis/differential thermal analysis (TG/DTG) and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). Then, the catalytic performance of Fe3O4@SiO2@(CH2)3‐urea‐benzimidazole sulfonic acid was successfully inspected towards the multicomponent synthesis of 2‐amino‐3‐cyano pyridine derivatives through a vinylogous anomeric based oxidation pathway.  相似文献

Organoruthenium‐supported polyoxometalates [(RuC6H6)XW9O34]7? (XWRu; X = As, P) were selected as samples to study their catalytic activities towards the solvent‐free oxidation of n‐hexadecane. First of all, the XWRu were deposited on 3‐aminopropyltriethoxysilane‐modified SBA‐15 to prepare solid catalysts, which were characterized using powder X‐ray diffraction, nitrogen adsorption measurements, Fourier transform infrared reflectance spectroscopy and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Subsequently, their catalytic performances and stabilities were assessed through the oxidation of n‐hexadecane using air as the oxygen source without any additives and solvents, and the influences of the loading amount, catalyst amount, reaction time and reaction temperature on the catalytic activities were investigated. The results indicated the influence of the central heteroatoms X of XWRu on the catalytic activities. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this study, we present a versatile and easy procedure for modifying a cobalt ferrite nanoparticle step by step. A new nanocatalyst was prepared via CuII immobilized onto CoFe2O4@HT@Imine. The catalyst was fully characterized by Fourier‐transform infrared (FT‐IR), energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy (EDX), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE‐SEM), X‐ray diffraction (XRD), and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) analyses. The current procedure as a green protocol offers benefits including a simple operational method, an excellent yield of products, mild reaction conditions, minimum chemical wastes, and short reaction times. Without any significant reduction in the catalytic performance, up to five recyclability cycles of the catalyst were obtained. The optimization results suggest that the best condition in the oxidation of benzyl alcohol derivatives is 0.003 g of the CoFe2O4@HT@Imine‐CuII catalyst, TEMPO, at 70°C under solvent‐free condition and air.  相似文献

Two new silica‐supported vanadium(V) oxide nanocatalysts were synthesized from vanadyl(IV ) sulfate and vanadyl(IV ) oxalate by the sol–gel method. The nanocatalysts were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetry, X‐ray diffraction, X‐ray fluorescence, and field‐emission scanning electron microscopy. The average diameter of the nanocatalysts was ~16 nm. The catalytic activity of both nanocatalysts was investigated in the oxidation of sulfur dioxide (SO2 ) released from the roasting of copper sulfides to sulfur trioxide (SO3 ), and the results were compared with those obtained from a commercial BASF (Baden Aniline and Soda Factory) catalyst. It is worth mentioning that our nanocatalysts show higher activity than the commercial catalyst for the oxidation of SO2 to SO3 under similar reaction conditions. The suggested electrocatalytic mechanism for the oxidation of SO2 to SO3 was confirmed by computational studies. Our calculations indicate that the terminal VO bond of V2O5 is likely the most active site for the adsorption and oxidation of SO2 .  相似文献

Nanomagnetic bisethylferrocene‐containing ionic liquid supported on silica‐coated iron oxide (Fe3O4@SiO2@Im‐bisethylFc [HC2O4]) as a novel catalyst was designed and synthesized. The described catalyst was recycled and used without change in the time and efficiency of the condensation reaction. The Fourier transform‐infrared spectroscopy (FT‐IR), scanning electron microscopy images, X‐ray diffraction patterns, energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy, transmission electron microscope and vibrating‐sample magnetometer results confirmed the formation of Fe3O4@SiO2@Im‐bisethylFc [HC2O4] magnetic nanoparticle. The novel bis‐coumarin derivatives were identified by 1H‐NMR, 13C‐NMR, FT‐IR and CHNS analysis.  相似文献

A simple and practical strategy for the synthesis of a novel nano‐Fe3O4‐supported organocatalyst system based on 3,4‐dihydroxypyridine (Fe3O4/Py) has been developed. The prepared catalyst was characterized using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, transmission and scanning electron microscopies, X‐ray diffraction, vibrating sample magnetometry and energy‐dispersive X‐ray analysis. Accordingly, the Fe3O4/Py nanoparticles show a superparamagnetic property with a saturation magnetization of 61 emu g?1, indicating potential application in magnetic separation technology. Our experimental results reveal that the pyridine‐functionalized Fe3O4 nanoparticles are an efficient base catalyst for the domino condensation of various aromatic aldehydes, Meldrum's acid and 5‐methylpyrazol‐3‐amine under very mild reaction condition and in the presence of ethanol solvent. Moreover, the synthesized catalyst was used for one‐pot, three‐component condensation of aromatic aldehydes with barbituric acid and malononitrile to produce 7‐amino‐2,4‐dioxo‐5‐phenyl‐2,3,4,5‐tetrahydro‐1H‐pyrano[2,3‐d]pyrimidine‐6‐carbonitriles. All reactions are completed in short times and all products are obtained in good to excellent yields. Also, notably, the catalyst was reused five times without significant degradation in catalytic activity and performance. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献
