Let denote the space of real-valued continuous functions on the interval and for a partition of , let be given by .

In this paper, with the conditioning function , we derive a simple formula for conditional expectations of functions defined on which is a probability space and a generalization of Wiener space. As applications of the formula, we evaluate the conditional expectation of functions of the form

for and derive a translation theorem for the conditional expectation of integrable functions defined on the space .

In this article, we consider a complex-valued and a measure-valued measure on , the space of all real-valued continuous functions on . Using these concepts, we establish the measure-valued Feynman-Kac formula and we prove that this formula satisfies a Volterra integral equation. The work here is patterned to some extent on earlier works by Kluvanek in 1983 and by Lapidus in 1987, but the present setting requires a number of new concepts and results.

This paper is a continuation of the study made in [38]. Using Douglas' operator range theorem and Crimmins' corollary we obtain several new results on the “square-integrability of operator-valued functions with respect to a nonnegative hermitian measure”. Using these facts we are able to extend in an important way theorems on the “spectral integral of an operator-valued function” which were obtained in [38], to wit, we are able to drop assumptions that functions are closed operator-valued. We apply these results to Wiener-Masani type infinite-dimensional stationary processes, representing a purely non-deterministic process as a “moving average” and obtaining a “factorization” of its spectral density. Next, anticipating global applications of our tools, we investigate the adjoint and generalized inverse of spectral integrals. Our definition of measurability for closed-operator-valued functions plays a key role here. Finally, we partially prove a conjecture (J. Multivariate Anal. (1974), 166–209) on simpler necessary and sufficient conditions on “when is a closed densely defined operator T from Hq to Hp a spectral integral T = fΦdE?”: Let q be finite and E be of countable multiplicity for H. Then (i) TxSxp each xDT (T is E-subordinate), and (ii) E(B)T ? TE(B) each BB (T is E-commutative) implies LxpT ? TLxq each xHq (T commutes with all the cyclic projections), and thus T = fΦdE.  相似文献

Under some conditions we prove that the convergence of a sequence of functions in the space of P-adic generalized functions is equivalent to its convergence in the space of locally integrable functions. Some analogs are established of the Wiener tauberian theorem and the Wiener theorem on denseness of translations for P-adic convolutions and translations.  相似文献

Let F(x) be a distribution function supported on [0, ∞) with an equilibrium distribution function F e (x). In this paper we pay special attention to the hazard rate function r e (x) of F e (x), which is also called the equilibrium hazard rate (E.H.R.) of F(x). By the asymptotic behavior of r e (x) we give a criterion to identify F(x) to be heavy-tailed or light-tailed. Moreover, we introduce two subclasses of heavy-tailed distributions, i.e., and *, where contains almost all the most important heavy-tailed distributions in the literature. Some further discussions on the closure properties of and * under convolution are given, showing that both of them are ideal heavy-tailed subclasses. In the paper we also study the model of independent difference ξ = Zθ, where Z and θ are two independent and non-negative random variables. We give intimate relationships of the tail distributions of ξ and Z, as well as relationships of tails of their corresponding equilibrium distributions. As applications, we apply the properties of class to risk theory. In the final, some miscellaneous problems and examples are laid, showing the complexity of characterizations on heavy-tailed distributions by means of r e (x).   相似文献

We prove the strong law of large numbers for the linear combinations of functions of order statistics (L-statistics) based on weakly dependent random variables. We also establish the Glivenko-Cantelli theorem for ?-mixing sequences of identically distributed random variables.  相似文献

Three proofs are given for a reciprocity theorem for a certain q-series found in Ramanujan’s lost notebook. The first proof uses Ramanujan’s 1ψ1 summation theorem, the second employs an identity of N. J. Fine, and the third is combinatorial. Next, we show that the reciprocity theorem leads to a two variable generalization of the quintuple product identity. The paper concludes with an application to sums of three squares. Following P. P. Korovkin, we study conditions for the convergence of operators of classesS 2m to continuous functions and the asymptotics of approximation by such operators to differentiable functions. Translated fromMatematicheskie Zametki, Vol. 67, No. 5, pp. 654–661, May, 2000.  相似文献

We introduce the higher order Lipschitz classes Λ r (α) and λ r (α) of periodic functions by means of the rth order difference operator, where r = 1, 2, ..., and 0 < αr. We study the smoothness property of a function f with absolutely convergent Fourier series and give best possible sufficient conditions in terms of its Fourier coefficients in order that f belongs to one of the above classes. Up to derived equivalence, the representation-finite self-injective algebras of class A n are divided into the wreath-like algebras (containing all Brauer tree algebras) and the Möbius algebras. In Part I (Forum Math. 11 (1999), 177–201), the ring structure of Hochschild cohomology of wreath-like algebras was determined, the key observation being that kernels in a minimal bimodule resolution of the algebras are twisted bimodules. In this paper we prove that also for Möbius algebras certain kernels in a minimal bimodule resolution carry the structure of a twisted bimodule. As an application we obtain detailed information on subrings of the Hochschild cohomology rings of Möbius algebras.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a new system of generalized mixed quasi-variational-like inclusions with (A, η, m)-accretive operators and relaxed cocoercive mappings. By using the fixed point theorem of Nadler, we prove the existence of solutions for this general system of generalized mixed quasi-variational-like inclusions and its special cases. The results in this paper unify, extend and improve some known results in the literature. The novel proof method is simpler than those iterative algorithm approach for proving the existence of solutions of all classes of system of set-valued variational inclusions in the literature.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a simple formula for conditional Wiener integrals over , the space of abstract Wiener space valued continuous functions. Using this formula, we establish various formulas for a conditional Wiener integral and a conditional Feynman integral of functionals on in certain classes which correspond to the classes of functionals on the classical Wiener space introduced by Cameron and Storvick. We also evaluate the conditional Wiener integral and conditional Feynman integral for functionals of the form which are of interest in Feynman integration theories and quantum mechanics.  相似文献
